Chapter 11 skies blaze and shadows cloak
Isla awoke with a start she was in a pine forest three strange cats that she had never seen before but just as she was about to attack all three of the cats and eat them for a quick meal and move on she remembered everything that had happened to her since she had arrived at her new home by the lake far from her family and home her ma great ma her fa and her brother Pirie who even though he irritated her to no end she still loved him but now she had new friends tawny pelt who was the female cat on her left side a cat whose courage and skill were only matched by her kind nature and grace even she had the fact that her father was a evil cat tawny pelt was always willing to to do whatever was asked of her and on her right was the newly named vixen paw who even for her young age was still willing to help fight for what she saw was right without fear or hesitation even if it meant going against her own mother and brothers and lastly was the apprentice of tawny pelt clover paw who was a gray tabby she cat who helped Isla and tawny pelt help fight tiger claw and his helpers from the dark forest and then a new she cat poked her head into Islas den. it was yellow fang the former shadow clan medicine cat who was forced into exile by her own son as a way of him covering up him killing two kittens who were two young to leave there nest much less be trained to be warriors to early but then yellow fang found a new home in thunder clan one of the other clans by the lake along with new friends and a new life helping other cats even a new apprentice in a eager young she cat named cinder paw who was never able to become a true warrior because she got hit by a two leg monster on a thunder path that ran between the thunder clan and shadow clan camps which somehow only left her with a limp in her hind leg after she awoke but part of yellow fang always felt sorry for the young cinder paw and her former mentor fire heart who was yellow fangs first real friend in thunder clan after her exile from shadow clan she first fought the young Tom because she thought he was a weak apprentice who would be easy prey for her but when he won their fight fire heart then called fire paw went and got her a rabbit to eat even though he was only supposed to be hunting for his own thunder clan and as punishment for his actions he had to take care of her the whole time she was in thunder clan which is how yellow fang came to see fire heart as her friend until the medicine cat of thunder clan a pretty she cat with a sweet scent to her named spotted leaf was killed by a bully from shadow clan in a raid being done by shadow clan itself in which the two kittens were abducted from the thunder clan nursery by shadow clan warriors but with the help of the shadow clan elders who the shadow clan leader the son of yellow fang who was named broken star had forced out of the shadow clan camp fire heart his two best friends a dark gray Tom cat named gray stripe and a black and white small Tom named raven paw along side two other thunder clan cats named running wind and mouse fur they were able to defeat broken star his best warriors and they were also able to save the kittens and return them safe and sound to the thunder clan camp the only thing yellow fang did not approve of was the two cats lying about their friend raven paw who they said died during the rescue attempt but actually went to live on a farm with a loner cat who was a cat who didn't belong to any clan who was named barley because raven paw was the only cat who knew the truth about tiger claw killing the former deputy of thunder clan and his lust for greed and power but even after that it still didn't make a dent in fire paws character in yellow fangs mind a truly good natured cat who hardly did anything for personal gain if yellow fang could have had a given birth to a son half as great maybe shadow clan Might have been great again. And when yellow fang spoke she said I was planning on visiting thunder clan today to see how much has changed since I was alive and I was going to ask tawny pelt if she wanted to come along with her since all of her family is in thunder clan which is her mother golden flower and her brother bramble claw last time I remember because I actually helped her give birth to them to which tawny pelt responded with yes I would if you don't mind us stopping in river clan first to which yellow fang said yes I can agree to those terms and Isla then asked if she could come as well as vixen paw clover paw and vixen paws mentor to which all three of the older she cats thought it was a good idea so little cloud could show vixen paw the territory and then with that the she cats all went to ask little cloud if he could join them to which the male medicine cat happily agreed to and with that the group of four she cats one Tom cat and the vixen all left for their first destination the river clan camp which was a island surrounded on all sides by a river and Isla then asked why tawny pelt why she wanted to come here first and then tawny pelt explained she had three half siblings in river clan one female named moth wing and two brothers named hawk frost and tadpole tail they were kittens tiger claw had with a kitty pet she cat Sasha which got a look of surprise on yellow fangs face who said to think that pile of mouse dung was able to get another she cat to mate with him no offense to you or your mother tawny pelt who answered with none taken I was just as surprised as you when I found out and yellow fang said how did you find out anyway but vixen paw answered with actually it was just before we left our journey from the old forest to this lake as we were all leaving Sasha jumped in front of us and said to every cat there that she was their mother and tiger claw was their father as well and asked if they were willing to go with her to which none answered and then Sasha left in a huff but in my opinion the only reason moth wing didn't go with her was because river clan had just recently lost mud fur so she is the only cat in river clan with any medicine cat training and then yellow fang said that surprises me I thought one of gray stripes kittens would become the next apprentice of mud fur but that's none of my concern I am just glad they have a medicine cat rather than not having one at all. And then all five cats and one vixen entered into the river clan camp and then yellow fang apparently saw some at she recognized since she went running to the unfamiliar she cat she was a blue gray she cat who yellow fang called blue star and the she cat then said I wish you would stop calling me that my name is blue fur now and I happily stepped down from being a leader at all I gave that honor to my daughter here misty foot who is now called misty star and another blue gray she cat appeared who Isla could guess was misty star since she looked similar to blue fur and said to the new she cat I guess you're misty star the new leader here and the blue gray she cat said you're correct but why are are you here Mrs fox and Isla explained everything that had happened to her since arriving in shadow can territory and yellow fang then asked misty star what happened here and misty star explained how leopard star had renounced her star clan leadership by joining tiger claw and the dark forest cats but then misty foot got all of leopard stars remaining lives. Which made Isla yellow fang and vixen paw along with blue fur all stare at misty star as if she had just gained a extra head the only one not surprised was tawny pelt who said well she did have a thing for him when he was alive but I never expected her to give up everything she had to be by his side. To which misty foot butted in by saying well technically she didn't give up everything she did die for a moment but then all of a sudden she nine balls of dark energy entered her body and she came back to life and started calling herself leopard hole and then Isla continued speaking with. Mrs misty Star I am wondering why everyone in river clan isn't running away from me in fear aren't you all afraid of foxes and misty star explained actually we are kind of intrigued by how you can speak cat since no other fox on the lake seems to be able to and your not our first stranger to river clan we came across a owl who can make things from two leg material found in rocks which was a surprise to all of Islas group and if you wanted to meet her you have to go to the medicine cat den to which Isla responded actually that's the reason why we came here in the first place so with that the group of four female cats one vixen and one Tom cat all went to the den of tawny pelts half sister moth wing and once they got there they noticed two cats and one was wrapping up the other cats paw in a leaf the cat doing the wrapping was a female with yellow fur and the other cat who was a male said thanks moth wing and the female who was just identified as moth wing And if Isla could guess the black furred Tom cat was tadpole tail and moth wing quickly answered Islas question by saying any time tadpole tail now go along and d your duties for today but then the two cats noticed they had a audience which got a chuckle out of Islas group. Tawny pelt was the first to stop laughing and say I hope we are not interrupting a brother and sister moment and then moth wing no not a problem here step into my den so we can talk which all but Isla did by saying sorry moth wing but it looks a little bit cramped in there for my liking with all of us then tawny pelt said sorry fr coming in unannounced I just wanted to meet you tadpole tail and hawk frost since we are all the kits of tiger claw but from different mothers which got a gasp out of both tadpole tail and moth wing who both said we didn't know we would have visited you in shadow clan sooner if we did know in unison and tawny pelt continued with actually the main reason I joined shadow clan in the first place was because everyone in thunder clan kept making comments about how I was behaving in the exact same way tiger claw used too to which moth wing responded well if anything hawk frost is more like father than you are because he joined him along with tadpole tails mine and hawk frost mother Sasha once moth wing had finished speaking they heard misty star call for a clan meeting where she said now that our guests have had a good nights rest and are ready to leave we must humbly request they leave for thunder clan territory that is unless they want to join us here in river clan to which a group of cats who were right behind misty star said we thank you for your hospitality but we belong in thunder clan and then misty star said then it is with honor that I lead you to thunder clan along with our other group of visitors that is if the second group agrees yellow fang to which the former medicine cat of shadow/Thunder clan happily agreed to the first of the new cats was a light brown she cat with a white chest green eyes and a thick fluffy tail the next cat was also a female with light gray fur with blue eyes they introduced themselves as princess and Millie the mates of gray stripe who was a light gray furred male with a darker gray stripe along his back who introduced himself to Isla as gray stripe the next cat to introduce themselves was a ginger Tom cat with green eyes named Jake the father of princess next was a Tom cat with black fur except for his tail and chest which were white with green eyes who introduced himself as raven paw and lastly was a male with black and white fur with blue eyes who introduced himself as barley and then they showed four kittens one was a pale gray tabby Tom with darker stripes one dark gray ear and blue eyes the next was a gray and pale orange Tom the next two were she kittens one had pale orange fur with long legs and a long pointed chin and the last kitten was a she kit with long pale sandy colored fur and they introduced themselves as Riley patch Bella and lulu the nieces and nephews of barley whose mother gave them up which got yellow fang to gasp and say how horrible how could a mother willingly give up her kittens and then the group all went off towards thunder clan camp but just as they were about to enter Into the thunder clan camp which looked like a giant hole cut out of a mountain the group was jumped by a group of evil cats one was a sleek scrawny dark ginger she cat it was russet fur one of the cats who used to abuse tawny pelt next was the heavy dark brown male cat with amber eyes who Isla remembered killing when she first used her fox craft powers to become the great coyote and the last cat who Isla could see was was a male with with dark brown coat of fur with yellow eyes the first to speak was russet fur who said well if it isn't the two traitors who felt it was more important to stay loyal to their clan rather then their families and then tawny pelt and vixen paw both answered together with at least we have a sense of loyalty which is more than what we can say about you russet fur you betrayed the whole position of deputy of shadow clan to become a part of tiger claws group and then russet fur launched herself at tawny pelts throat but Isla quickly grabbed russet fur in her jaws by the scruff of the evil she cats neck and then bit through her throat killing russet fur instantly. As her body hit the ground nine orbs of black energy went into russet furs body and she awoke and spoke in a ominous voice where is crow feather I must get my revenge on that mouse heart of a Tom before russet fur started speaking in her normal voice again and said sorry about that but I guess you all will have to start calling me russet hole the new leader of shadow clan after I help tiger claw take over the whole entirety of this lake territory and then she said mud hole dust pelt help me with this stupid fox and then all three cats lunged at Isla who was to shocked to react and all three cats killed Isla by slicing her throat when Isla awoke she was in a pine forest with a night sky full of stars and then nine of the stars came down to the ground to greet her and as they got close to Isla they took on the form of cats the first to come up to was a dark gray male with a white mark on his chest and amber eyes he said in life my name was pebble heart and that he had a gift for Isla if she wanted it and only used it in defense of the clans to which Isla gladly accepted his terms and then pebble heart said with this life I give you the wisdom of a shadow clan medicine cat next was a pale gray she cat who said her nemesis was lily star and she gave Isla a cloak that could blend into any background next was a gray Tom known as snow star whose gift was the stamina to run all around the lake territory without getting tired next was a she cat who was lean with creamy brown fur and green eyes she said her name was dawn star and she gave Isla the courage of a true leader next was a Tom named cinder fur who gave isla the ability to harden her tail and to make it into a weapon the next cat to come up to Isla was a black Tom with yellow eyes named raven pelt who gave Isla the agility of a fully trained warrior cat the next cat was a sleek brown she cat with splotchy fur her name was sparrow fur and her gift was the ability for Isla to make clones of herself and the next cat who was a long furred black and white male cat gave her the ability to control the clones with just her thoughts and the last cat to give Isla a life and a ability was a wiry black she cat with bushy fur and green eyes who name was holly and her gift was the love of a mother for her kittens and then all the cats started chanting vulpine star vulpine star vulpine star the next thing Isla knew she was being helped to her feet by two new cats who were also scaring off russet hole and all of her helpers one of the new cats was a female with a pale colored fur coat the next was a black furred male cat with a white chest muzzle tail tip and paws the male introduced himself as socks and said the female was named ruby who was his sister and with the dark forest cats dealt with Isla and her group entered the thunder clan camp which apparently was a great shock to fire star a Tom who looked almost exactly like Jake who went running up to princess and said why are you here sister and princess then explained everything she and gray stripe had gone through to get where they are now. Elsewhere over the mountains that was the home of the tribe of rushing water there was a giant winged lizard with scales in every shade of brown with what looked like saddle bags on its back the giant lizard landed with a thump on the ground and forty cats seemed to come out of the pockets inside the saddle bags but one cat who was a pale cream and brown female with a long tail and amber eyes said alright every cat and clay which she said to the giant lizard this is our last night before we get to the lake where the other clans live so go on and do some hunting and make some nest for yourselves and your family members which made all of the cats depart except for one who was a female with silver fur and green eyes her name was echo song and then echo song starred at the big lizard creature and said how are feeling clay still feeling alright from flying all the way here from the gorge on your own to which the lizard responded with it actually was not really a problem I used to have to do a lot more flying under the mountain where I used to live as part of me and my friends stamina training to which echo song respond with I actually would like to hear about that part of your life well the first thing to happen answered clay was that I never knew my mother or father since according to the dragons who were supposed to be looking after me and my friends my mother traded me for some cows and they said I was a monster because I supposedly tried to smash my friends eggs the moment I hatched which got echo song to let out a gasp of shock then I was being trained to fight which I was not to good at which often led to my teacher/mother figure kestrel to breath fire on me which burned me or beat me up until I was sore all over which caused echo song to say how dare she what kind of mother beats up their own kitten now could you describe your friends to me. And clay then said first there is tsunami who had royal blue scales with pale green flecks underneath them with translucent green eyes with azure wings with star shaped talon prints and scales that could flash in different colors according to our nicest minder dragon webs she came from the hatchery of the royal sea queen what's a queen asked echo song they are kind of similar to leaf star for sky clan well that's good to know if I go to pyrriha your home land well tsunami was kind of the bossy leader of me and my friend group next was glory who had green eyes with scales that could change color that allowed her to blend into any background with soft wings and feathery ears she came from the tribe known as the rain wings they would often call glory lazy along with any rain wings that we heard of and the minders didn't like her since she was only a replacement for the one egg we lost then there was the smallest of us all sunny who had bright golden yellow scales with moss colored eyes and a tail unique for her species of dragon because normally they have a stinger on the end of their tail but hers just ended in a curl with out the point to it oh and did I mention glory had a prehensile tail meaning she could actually wrap it around others and use it like a extra foot no you didn't said echo song and lastly there is the only other male besides me star flight he had midnight black scales with glints of purple and deep blue with silver under his wings with dark green eyes the minders expected us to only look out for ourselves which is supposedly the normal mindset for dragons in pyrriha and then echo song said well your not like that clay you are my gentle giant of a kitten and I am glad I was chosen to be your new mother and clay said I couldn't agree with you more mother and with that both she cat and dragon settled down for a meal which Clay pulled out of the pouches on his saddle bag and echo song then asked how does that bag work any way it always seems to have what we need in it to which clay answered well you remember that last night we spent in the gorge as I was sleeping I was transported to star clans hunting ground where nine spirits from the past gave me gifts as well as extra lives the fist cat to give me a life was a lithe she cat with splotchy brown gray and white fur that was short and fluffy her gift was having the ability to pull out a piece of cow meat which is my favorite when ever I need it next was a long furred black Tom with a white chest ears and front paws with green eyes he gave me the knowledge of a sky clan medicine cat and his name was cloud spots next was a scrawny mangy brown who was skinny with splotchy fur notched ears and blue eyes and his gift was the ability to change my size so I could fit into any den with you and his name was thorn the next cat was a huge thick furred gray Tom his name was nettle and his gift was for endless stamina which is why I was able to fly her so easily the next was a large brown Tom with yellow eyes his power was for me to not get hurt by a ice wings dragons frost breath which makes dark stalker less dangerous for me to fight the only thing he can do now is read my mind to hurt me the next cat was a she cat with tan stripes her gift to me was the ability to control my own natural fire and make it whatever shape I need it to become and her name was flower foot which seemed to gain the attention of both star flower and sky star then there was a slender night black Tom who name was moon shadow who gave the ability to harden my wings into a protective shield for everyone under them the next cat was a wiry small broad shouldered matted brown Striped Tom with yellow eyes his name was snake his gift was the ability to make my tail prehensile like glory's and lastly was gray Tom with white patches and blue eyes his name was cloud star and he said his gift wasn't for me but the whole of sky clan which I don't quite understand yet and then all of the cats started chanting drake star drake star drake star to which both sky star and leaf star came up to clay and said sounds to us like you had a leaders ceremony which was a surprise to clay the next thing clay and his group of cats knew five new cats came from down the mountain and said we don't know who you are or why you're here but this mountain belongs to the tribe of rushing water the first of clays group to talk was echo song who said we're sorry if we caused any problems for you but we are just looking for our group of friends did another group of cats happen to walk by these mountains recently oh your from that group yes they came by here recently and actually they are living by the lake over the mountains said the cat who was in the lead a long legged wiry dark stone gray male amber eyes my name is crag where eagles nest this is jagged rock where heron sits as he pointed to a dark gray Tom and this one as he pointed towards a dark brown Tom with amber eyes a ragged pelt big paws and massive shoulders and a scar across his face is talon of swooping eagle and then he pointed at a light brown she cat and said this one is named moss that grows by the river and lastly we have feather of flying hawk who was a stone gray Tom and then crag said I don't like You clan cats you stole my sister brook where small fish swim and then echo song said sorry for your loss but we are not connected to them even though we want to be we were our own clan before our ancestors told us to leave our former home and come here to which crag answered then let us take you over the mountains tomorrow to which all of sky clan who had come back to see what was happening gladly agreed to then all of the cats fell asleep ready to end their adventures tomorrow.
Thus ends another chapter of pieces of the world sorry for the chapters taking so long to get out but I only have one hour of free time to work on it per day normally but with that being said I hope you all have a wonderful hour/day/week/month/Year of your lives this is your author signing out
