Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

"Alright, let's get this done…" says Felix Khan, a Tiger Faunus. He strides forward into a large tent and awaiting him is Ghira Belladonna, current High Leader of the White Fang.

"You wanted to see me, sir." Responds Felix in a neutral tone.

"Please, none of that sir, and military showmanship, we're not Atlas. Besides I feel old enough as is!" chuckles Ghira, smiling at Felix.

"Sorry, it's just how I show respect…" replies Felix looking a bit worn down.

"I understand, but please there's no need for that and you don't need to apologize you haven't done anything wrong," Ghira states. "Anyway, I asked for you because I have a mission for you."

"Really." Felix perks up at the thought of being able to do something finally instead of keeping watch over the campsite they are residing at.

"Yes, we will be moving out in a couple of days, and I would like you to scout ahead for us for our next campsite," Ghira says as he pulls out a map of the Vale area with markings and writing on it. "These are some of the locations that local huntsmen have recently cleared out, I just need you to confirm that at least one of the sites is clear of Grimm, and if not, I'm permitting you to clear it out for us."

"Oh sweet!" exclaims Felix, "Don't worry, I'll make sure the area is clear of Grimm and if not." Felix then activates his clawed gauntlets Slice and Dice, "I'll make sure it is!"

Ghira smiles and laughs heartfully, "There's the Firey Tiger I know."

As Felix begins to rush out of the tent he is stopped as Ghira says, "Felix, one more thing. There will be something special about this mission as well, I don't know what may happen, but I must warn you, be careful, think smart, and act decisively. You and your sister I feel will go far in life but be mindful of the here and now. Good Luck, Felix." With that Ghira lets Felix leave.

Felix then questions what that whole exchange was about, "There's something else High Leader Belladonna isn't telling me, this better not be a trap." Felix thinks to himself. As he reaches his tent, he notices a note from his sister. Felix, Out helping Tukson won't be back till night -Sienna. "Well, I guess I have to leave a note for here as well," Felix says and sighs as he grabs a notebook and a pencil and writes Scouting ahead for the next campsite, may not be here when you get back -Felix. With that, Feix grabs his green jacket and sets off to scout ahead.

The first site Felix inspected was a plain field, nothing too major or noticeable, the only thing that truly stood out was the ruins of a small village from years ago, Felix wondered what happened to it, was it destroyed by the Grimm, did bandits ransack it, or did the community just decided that it was better to leave the area. Felix looked around and found nothing, no signs of Grimm, bandits, or people. This would make for a decent campsite all things considered, there were still some standing structures, a well that looked to be untouched, and a watchtower to stand vigilant in case anything was to come.

The second site was a heavily wooded area that had quite a bit of running creaks, the perfect spot to tell scary stories with everyone while a campfire was burning. Still, there wasn't much else to see. As Felix began to continue, he heard a twig snap. Spinning around quickly and activating Slice and Dice he ready himself into a fighting stance and yelled out "Who's There!"

There was a screeching silence as Felix stood there ready, his Tiger Ears, enhancing his hearing, scanned around for any subtle noise that might jump out at him. His Tiger Eyes glance around for any threat and shadow that seems to be out of place. He found nothing and after minutes of waiting for something to happen only to be met with a renewed silence, he dropped his stance and continued his way but occasionally looking over his shoulder just in case something decided to sneak up on him.

It was getting close to sunset when Felix finally reached the third and last spot, a rocky hill he had to check but to his luck, to drown out his boredom and itch to fight was a pack of six Beowolves. "Looks like I get to clear this out," whispered Felix to himself, he activated Slice and Dice and jumped into the fray taking the Beowolves off-guard.

Felix, using his right gauntlet slashed into the first one completely cutting off its head as it disintegrated into nothingness. With Felix's Left Gauntlet, he thrust his bladed fist into the closest Beowolf as it jumped back and let out a howl of defeat before disintegrating as well. The remaining four Grimm then began to circle Felix before one jumped at him only for Felix to sidestep it as he slashed its throat with brute force killing it as well.

"Three more, huh… Let's try this!" Felix says as he activates Slice and Dice's red dust magazines turning the blades of his gauntlets on fire. Felix then rushes the Beowolf on his right, plunging his now flaming claw into the beast. Felix then looks behind as the last two Beowolves take the opportunity to strike as his back is turned. Felix then spins towards the two Beowolves and using his gauntlets throws the Beowolf he is currently engaged with at them. Unfortunately, the two beasts dodge his throw and continue straight at Felix. Felix then begins charging at the final two Grimm and yells, "Aggressive Enough, Fast Enough!" As they all get closer, Felix pushes himself faster, and as he does slides underneath the Beowolf facing his left and slices its belly causing it to crash and burn. Felix then quickly pivots to the last remaining Beowolf as it turns around and charges again at him, but instead of running straight at the last Grimm Felix takes in a deep breath. The Beowolf seizing the moment jumps at Felix only for Felix to finally breathe Fire into it! The Beowolf never even touched the ground before it burned into ash.

"Man, that was easier than I thought it would be…" Felix chuckles to himself.

"Right, you are my Boy!"

"Huh, who said that!" an alarmed Felix yells.

"ME, my Boy!" as an older-looking fellow appears from behind a tree. He sports a red formal jacket that is reminiscent of old noble hunters, his white hair combed, and the most striking feature of this person is his grand mustache. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Professor Peter Port of Beacon Academy, and you Mr. Khan have very much impressed me!"

"Uh… Thanks?" Felix responded cautiously. "This guy seems all over the place."

"No need to thank me young man that hard work was all yours and it is because of that fact you have earned the privilege to attend Beacon Academy." Professor Port said with glee.

"Wait what!?" exclaimed Felix.

"That's right young man, with the recent efforts being pushed by the White Fang for civil equality and with Beacon's Headmaster in agreement that a broader approach should be used to recruit more potential students, why during the last meeting we had with Mr. Belladonna, he recommended both you and your sister!" Professor Port explained.

"So does that mean I can go to Beacon and be a Huntsman?" questioned Felix.

"Only if you want to my boy, you have the choice and the right to refuse" continued Professor Port.

"Ok, so… where and when do I start?" Felix question?
