Trying to get feedback is like pulling teeth but I gotta try. Leave a comment if you like it, hate it, whatever it is.

She tried not to roll her eyes as she heard Anthony whispering behind her. That boy would never learn not to whisper in McGonagall's class despite the fact they all knew she had extremely sharp hearing. He was going to land himself in another detention.

"Mr. Goldstein", rang McGonagall's voice right then.

She should have taken divination. She could predict detentions like no other.

"That will be detention for you. This is the third time I've had to tell you to pay attention", continued McGonagall, her voice sounding very annoyed.

"Sorry Professor", was the mumbled reply before McGonagall continued with her lecture on Human Transfiguration.

She let her eyes roam around the class for a moment. She was sat in the back today with the rest of the Ravens and she couldn't help but peek a glance at the mop of hair that was seated among the Slytherins. She couldn't say when her crush on the boy started but something about him just called to her, other than the fact that he was tall for his age, had gorgeous eyes, and was built like Adonis of course

.
His reputation too was legendary among the whole school. He was the boy-who-lived, the tri-wizard champion, and more than that he was the Ice-King of Slytherin. He was known to be cold to almost everyone and he liked to keep to himself. He was also extremely talented. The boy had won the U-16 dueling championship at just 14.

That wasn't what attracted her to him, well maybe a little bit of it was his talent, but more than that, it was just how strongly he stood for what he believed was right and wrong. She vividly remembered the events in her second year.

She hadn't been aware of it at the time, but a first year had been getting mercilessly bullied by the older Ravenclaws. They had stolen her things, locked her out, and even prevented her from eating at times.

Well that all ended when one Saturday, all the ravens were milling about the common room, including her, when the entrance to the common room had slammed open and a boy clad in green and silver robes stepped in. Every eye turned towards the sound, and even from the corner she was sat in, she had seen the violent magic surging around the Slytherin boy as he brazenly walked into the Raven's nest.

Perhaps it was the look on his face, or just the sheer magic the boy was projecting, nobody had said anything to the boy.

He had walked to the middle of the room, and in a deathly calm voice he had essentially threatened everybody present there.

"You are a disgrace to the house of Ravenclaw if you are one of those who has been bullying an innocent first year for no other reason than the fact that she is different from you. She is worth ten times than any of you will ever be and If I find anyone even remotely thinking about messing with Luna Lovegood ever again, I will personally come after you and make sure you remember that day for the rest of your life. Don't think I don't know who you are either, I know every name that has ever participated or kept quiet about her treatment, I know every act you have done, and every item you have stolen. If it was up to me, you would already be feeling the brunt of my anger, but despite everything, Luna has requested that I only warn you this first time. Consider this your last one, have a good day."

With that he had spun around and walked back out, with not a single person saying a word. And it had worked, after that day everyone had left Luna alone. Maybe it was that day that she saw who he was, and it sparked something within her.

She shook herself of her straying thoughts and after a final glance at the boy, she turned her attention back to McGonagall.

She put her quill down and sighed as she leaned back on her chair. She had been working on her Potions essay for the last two hours and she was finally done. Her friends had long left her, so it was just her at the table. She loved her friends, but she was glad they had left as they loved distracting her far too much. How any of them had been sorted into Ravenclaw, she had no clue.

She started packing her stuff up when she heard footsteps nearing her from behind. Assuming it was just another student passing through, she paid no attention to it until the footsteps stopped right by the table and she heard someone clear their throat.

She looked up, and she froze as her eyes met vivid green eyes. Eyes that could only belong to one person.

She immediately got flustered as she tried to figure out something to say to the boy. She couldn't fathom why he was speaking to her, and she was not prepared for it. Thankfully the boy spoke up first.

"Greengrass", he began, "I have a request of you".

Now intrigued, she kicked her brain into gear.

"Yes? How may I help you?" she asked, trying not to stare too much at the boy.

"I need your help with Arithmancy. It's always been a weak point of mine and this year I've been struggling more that I would like to. Professor Vector mentioned you are one of her best students and I would be grateful if you explain some things to me. Of course, in return, if you have anything I can do for you, then you just have to let me know", explained the boy.

She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that he had come for purely academic purposes, but she knew the chances of him asking her anything else were basically zero considering the boy's reputation. Well, she already knew what she was going to ask him in return.

"I would be happy to help you but in exchange you have to help me in Defense", she told.

He gave a small nod to that. "Sounds fair, Greengrass", he replied.

"Daphne", she butted in, she hated it when anyone called her by her last name.

The boy paused for second. "Call me Harry", he said.

"Are you free tomorrow at eight?", he asked.

"I am", she told him.

"Shall we meet right here then?"

She agreed and the boy immediately left. She let out a breath she hadn't known she had been holding. She let out a small groan at how insufferable her friends were going to be once they find out who she was going to be studying with.

She walked towards the table they had met the previous day. She knew she was early, but she had gotten too nervous to just sit and wait. She had also wanted to get away from her friends for a little. Like she had expected, they had not given her a moment of peace since she had told them.

She stopped for a moment when she got close to the table and found that her study partner was already there.

"Hey Harry", she greeted as she pulled a chair and put her stuff down.

"Hey", said Harry, looking up from a book he was reading.

They immediately got down to business and she was pleasantly surprised at how easily they got along. It was easy for her to see that Harry was no slouch. He almost had a better understanding of concepts than she herself did. He simply had some trouble correctly applying those concepts.

They worked for a couple hours without even realizing it and before they knew it, they were getting ushered out of the library by an irate Madam Pince.

They agreed to meet up again that weekend around same time and parted ways towards their respective common rooms. She had to fight her smile down as she walked so she wasn't providing any more ammunition to her friends than necessary.

So continued their weekly study sessions, now with the inclusion of her own tutelage under Harry, who was an amazing teacher. She enjoyed her time with the boy, especially those where they weren't just studying but talking about inconsequential things and simply spending some time getting to know the other. Not that she could claim to know him, he was extremely tight lipped about his past and she could only guess as to why that was.

It didn't help her crush on the boy either, the more she saw him, the more she desired him. He was extremely smart, had a snarky humor, confident in himself, but also kind and he respected who she was. More than once she wished she had the courage to say something, but it always failed her when she tried to.

They started wrapping up their stuff after another Arithmancy session when Harry spoke up.

"Daphne, I think I am happy with where I am in Arithmancy. Your help was been very valuable to get me here and I appreciate all of it. We can end our study sessions here", he said.

She froze at his words, or more specifically how casually he phrased the end of their meetings. They had been meeting for more than 4 months now and in her eyes, they had become more than just study sessions. She had thought they had at least gotten to know each other as friends if not more, but she had been wrong.

She kept her head down as she couldn't stop the biting tears that pooled around her eyes at his words. She started tossing everything in her pack without care.

"Yea of course, you don't have to see me anymore", she replied, unable to keep the hurt out of her voice.

She blinked furiously as she slung her bag over her shoulder, and she heard him say something, but she couldn't hear anything. She wanted to get out of here before she came undone, without him there to see her do so.

She made to rush her way past the table, past him, but a hand caught hers before she could and spun her back.

She refused to look at his eyes but he gently raised her head despite her wishes. Right then she felt a tear break free as his eyes met hers.

"I didn't mean it like that Daphne", he said gently, his other hand wiping the tear of her cheeks.

"I simply meant we don't have to meet up under the guise of a study session."

She felt herself unwind and now she felt a little foolish at her reaction. Tori did always tease her that she wore her heart on her sleeve. But he could have phrased that better.

"Do you even want to?", she asked him, looking at his face for any sign of deceive.

"I want to see you every day", he replied in earnest.

She felt her heart start to speed up a little at the look he was giving her, and she felt a small bump of courage come to her.

"As just friends?", she asked, her voice coming out much softer than she wanted it to.

This time she could see him lose his usual confidence as he tried not to fidget.

"I was hoping I could take you out to Hogsmeade next weekend", he confessed.

Her insides were screaming now, but that was so far away, and she really didn't want to wait.

She moved a step closer to him, not knowing where she was getting this bold from. They were almost touching now, and she felt a surge of nervousness go through her.

"I don't want to wait that long", she whispered, her eyes dropping to his lips.

It felt like everything stilled for a second, as they just stood there, a breath apart, so close to something more.

Then she felt Harry's hand suddenly wrap around her lower back and pull her tight against his chest. Her chest smushed against his as she gasped at the sudden contact, her arms quickly coming to wrap around his neck.

She breathed in his scent, and she felt lightheaded at the feelings it sent through her. His other hand slowly trailed up her back, sending goosebumps everywhere it touched as it came to rest on her neck, gently cradling it in his strong hands.

She looked back up at his eyes, and this time his green eyes had gotten a shade darker. They felt like they were staking a claim on her, like a predator eyeing its prey and only trying to figure out where to begin.

Her hands tightened ever so slightly around her neck and his lips were suddenly on hers. She wasted no time in playing the age long game with his lips and her legs started to give out from underneath her. It was only his arm keeping her upright as he devoured her whole and she simply got lost in it.

She could not say how long the kiss lasted but it was only the need to breathe that broke them apart. As they panted, his eyes were glowing with need, and she was right there with him.
Without a word, Harry pulled apart but before she could protest, he waved his hand at the table, and all his things neatly piled up in his pack.

She felt her eyes go wide at the casual use of wandless magic, but he was already dragging her out of the library. She lost all thoughts on wandless magic when he took her to a unique room on the seventh floor and he had her pinned against the wall while he tried to taste everything he could.

They didn't go far, wanting to not rush anything, but somewhere between trailing kisses and wandering hands, he had asked her to be his girlfriend and she had quickly agreed.

She tried to ignore her friends' constant pestering as she tried to eat her breakfast. Her smile hadn't left her face since the moment they had parted ways the night before and of course everyone had noticed.

"C'mon spill something Daphne, you look like the cat that ate the canary, so we know something happened last night", said Padma as she poked her on the side.

She only gave the girl a small glare in return for making her jump and turned back to her food.

"Daphne.." Terry started but he abruptly paused, and a silence filled the table.

Confused at the sudden silence she looked up, but all her friends were looking behind her, so she too turned around only to see the face that hadn't left her mind all night.

He gave her a small grin when she gave him a questioning glance, and by this time basically the whole hall was looking at the two of them.

"I couldn't help but hear the loud pestering you were getting from your friends and the other rumors floating around so I thought I might as well settle all of them", he said, and he quickly leaned down.

Her eyes fluttered close and she was swept in a short but possessive kiss that only made her crave more.

It ended as quick as it had come, and he simply gave her a small wink before heading out of the great hall, leaving her to deal with the chaos that was about to ensue. Still his public display left all her lingering doubts behind, he was not going to shy away from telling everyone about them and neither was she.

She just had to get through the absolute rainstorm of questions that were coming her way first.

She gazed out the window forlornly, already missing the grinning face of her boyfriend. It had only been two days since school had broken out yet it felt like it had been forever ago.

The year had gone far better that she could have ever hoped for. She had done well in all her subjects, nothing crazy had disrupted the year, and she had gotten together with her crush, who just so turned out to be an amazing boy and absolutely doted on her.

She sighed as she reread the letter he had sent and it lifted her spirits ever so slightly.

"Daphne, come down for dinner. And we have guests so come prepared", came her mother's voice suddenly from outside her door.

She sprung up in surprise. Guests? She didn't know they were expecting any today. She then let out a groan as she realized she was going to have to put on robes for dinner.

She dragged herself out of bed and did the bare minimum to look presentable before she left her room and made her way to the formal dining room. She tried to guess who could have possibly come by, but she came up with nothing.

She paused for a moment outside the door and poised herself as was expected of her and she entered the dining room, only to gape in utter bafflement when she saw who was seated there.

There sitting next to her father was none other than her boyfriend, his face neutral but his eyes shining in amusement as he gazed back at her. And on the other side of her father was a man with shoulder length hair and all the poise of a pureblood, although his face said that he was equally as amused.

"Daphne", said her father, bringing her out of her reverie, his tone unapproving of how she was acting in front of their guests, "take a seat".

She tore her eyes off her boyfriend and sat down at the table. After some introductions, the table descended into idle political talk between Harry's godfather, Lord Black, and her own father.

The rest of them exchanged some small conversation about school and health. She also gave a look to Harry when no one was looking which he only replied with a smile and a wink.

Soon the plates were cleared, and they all moved to the parlor where they all sat down with some tea.

"Lord Black, Heir Potter, I hope the dinner was to your liking, but now that we have been fed, I can no longer quell my curiosity about the purpose of this meeting. You were not very forthcoming in your letter. Please, the floor is yours" said her father as he leaned back in his chair.

"While I did request the meeting, it was on Harry's behalf so I will let him talk", was all that Lord Black said and all eyes turned to her boyfriend.

She watched as he sat up straight, and his eyes turned to her father.

"Lord Greengrass, I won't dilly dally any longer. I have come today to request a formal courtship agreement with your eldest daughter, with Daphne's permission of course. I am enamored with Daphne, and we have been seeing each other for some while now. She is an amazing person, a credit to the House of Greengrass, and I don't want anyone else to get the wrong idea, hence the agreement. I fully intend to have Daphne by my side for as long as she will have me, and perhaps in the future we can talk about a formal betrothal. It is also very important to me that Daphne is agreeable and happy with everything we do."

She felt her eyes prickle when she heard his words, and she had to use every bit of her will to not jump in his arms right then. While they had briefly talked about courtships and betrothals, they hadn't gone too far into it, and she hadn't wanted to force him into anything, so this was a complete surprise to even her but far from a bad one.

She suddenly realized all eyes were on her, her mother giving her a look, and she turned red when she realized that they had probably asked her something and she hadn't been aware.

"Could you say that again please?" she asked, ignoring Harry's teasing face.

"I asked what your thoughts were on this Daphne", asked her father.

She fought her smile, trying not to give an overtly eager answer.

"I am pleased with the agreement father; Heir Potter has been very rescpetful and honorable in every way. I would be happy with the courtship agreement", she replied.

The rest of the night was spent agreeing and disagreeing on various small things that really didn't matter. Eventually it was all done, and they were due to leave when her boyfriend spoke up.

"May I have a brief moment with Daphne alone so I can speak to her about the agreement?" asked Harry.

Her father agreed and they decided to go on a small walk outside the Manor. They kept their distance as they walked out the door and down the pathway but the moment they were hidden from the view of the manor, she was pulled tight into an embrace and her lips found his.

They simply enjoyed being each other for a little before they pulled back, their faces grinning at each other.

"Are you happy with the courtship, Daph?", he asked in a gentle voice.

"I am more than happy Harry. I am already yours, this simply lets the rest of the world know that both of us are not available", she told him, trying to convey how truly she meant it.

She saw his eyes shine as his hands come up to cradle her face.

"Daph", he began", I fully meant everything I said in there and more. I see you by my side for a long long time and I never want to let you go. I love you Daph."

This time she couldn't have stopped the tears even if she would have wanted to. They streamed down her face as she fell into his embrace. She held him tight, trying to stop her sniffling for just a moment, so she could tell him the same.

"I love you too harry", she said finally.

She closed her eyes as he held her to him, and they swayed to the music playing in the background. It had been a long and tiring day, but it had been the best day of her life. After years of being together, courtships, betrothals, proposals, the day had finally come, and it had been more than she could have ever imagined.

She was finally married to her love. Her first crush, her first kiss, her first boyfriend, and he would forever be the only one.

"I love you Mr. Potter", she whispered to him.

"And I love you Mrs. Potter", he whispered back, his arms trying to hold her even closer. She felt a childish giddiness fill her up when he called her by her new name. She was now a Potter and one day there would be more than just the two of them.

The last dance ended and the couple wasted no time in bidding everyone a goodbye. There was only one thing left tonight and neither wanted to wait any longer.

The world spun wildly as she felt Harry pull her into him and apparated them away, leaving the venue they had gotten just gotten married.

They landed in the master bedroom at Potter manor, and she wasted no time in jumping her man. Her husband.

Their frantic kisses filled the room and their hands clawed at each other trying to feel anything. This was far from the first time they would be one, but tonight was different, tonight they would be one in every way.

She felt Harry's arms snap to her thighs and he effortlessly lifted her and pinned her against the wall. His lips left hers and trailed to her ears, kissing and nipping every inch of skin it could find.

"You're mine", he growled.

"Yours" she agreed arching her back as he nipped at a sensitive spot on her neck.

The night soon descended into acts that are glossed over when talked about marriage nights, but are often the most memorable ones.
