Chapter 1: The birth of a legend
It was the happiest day of their lives, Minato and Kushina were going to have a baby boy! They were thinking of ways to celebrate when suddenly, Kushina went into labor! The second Minato noticed he instantly wrapped her in his arms and used the Hiraishin to flash to the safe area where Kushina was planning to give birth. After flashing Kushina to the room he teleported to the Sarutobi compound to inform Hiruzen. "Sarutobi-san!" Said Minato in a loud yet respectful voice. "What is it Minato?" Hiruzen responded in a half worried tone "Kushina is going into labor!" Minato announced. When he heard this, Hiruzen was surprised but he quickly got over it. "Very well" he said, "I will get my wife and Tsunade this instant". For the meantime, Make sure Kushina is safe, we do not want the nine tails taking advantage of this weakened state. "Hai Sarutobi-san" Minato replied then almost as quickly as he came, he was gone. (in Kushina's barrier) "Minato continue holding the seal!" Biwako, Hiruzen's wife exclaimed. "Hai!" Minato replied. While everyone was focussed on Kushina's seal, unbeknownst to them, a masked man was outside of the barrier taking out shinobi so he could kidnap the Hokages child. Just as Kushina gives birth, Minato picks up the baby but Biwako snatched them from him and handed him to Kushina who sobs in happiness and names him Naruto. But, when a swirling portal shows up they are confused yet only for a moment and the masked man takes the baby and holds him hostage. Minato swipes the baby named Naruto but before he could do anything about it, his dear wife Kushina was taken! Minato realizing how dire the situation is, brought his son to safety in his house so that he would not be harmed, then immediately went to go save his wife. The moment he sensed his wifes chakra, he knew that it was too late as she was missing the second, very dark source she had. Right when he had realized that, he saw a massive fox with nine tails rampaging and destroying everything in sight. As he saw his wife Kushina he quickly flashed to her and hiraishin her to the bed next to naruto. Minato left the area then immediately sprung into action and began trying to combat the fox and minimize the damage done to the village he held so dearly. As the nine tails was attacking Minato felt a sudden spike of chakra and a massive purple ball started forming at its mouth. Seeing this Minato started weaving hand signs so he could create a barrier to catch and transport the bomb outside of the village. He then ran up to the bijuu and flashed it to his estate due to not having any other choice, because you can only seal the stronger tailed beasts inside of a human child. He then picked up his son and used the reaper death seal, sacrificing his life to seal the nine tailed beast in his newborn baby boy. As he is completing the seal he gets impaled but pushes through the pain, saving his wife and newborn baby.
