Beforenote : Hello everyone! This is just a very small fanfic idea I thought of during school so I decided to write it. It's going to be very short but I just wanted to get something posted. As always, enjoy!

Remus woke up early, partly because he couldn't fall asleep, and partly because he was super excited.

He hurried down the small set of stairs that connected the top story to the bottom one. There, he sat on the couch, waiting for one of his parents to wake up.

After a while, a door opened from somewhere upstairs, and Hope, Remus' mom began coming down the staircase.

"You're up early love," she said, affection for Remus glowing in her amber gaze. She walked to where Remus sat and kissed him on the crown of his head.

She headed into the kitchen, where she began brewing something up, probably soup, Remus thought, and just then he realized how hungry he really was.

Remus sat down at the table, and his father, Lyall, came from upstairs, saying his greetings to Remus.

"Your friends are coming today?" he asked, quickly kissing his beautiful wife on the cheek,

before sitting down and reading the Daily Prophet.

"Yes," Remus responded eagerly. He had two really good friends, Theo and Noah, and they lived on the other side of town, and today, they were finally going to visit.

"Remember what I told you," Remus' dad reminded, and Remus remembered how he had always told him to never tell anyone about his true identity. Remus already knew he should never tell anyone that he was a werewolf because of the way people treated werewolves, and though that was how he had to do things, sometimes it was very hard…

"Here you go love," Remus' mom said, pushing a steaming hot bowl of soup towards Remus. He smiled gratefully towards her, afterwards drinking in the warm, tasty, soup.

He ate it quickly, a bit too quickly according to his parents, afterwards he took a quick shower, and changed into his clothes. He chose a long sleeved shirt to cover the horrid scars that covered his arms.

Remus ran downstairs, when suddenly, the doorbell rang. He opened it quickly, smiling when he saw who was standing at the door.

"Noah! Theo!" he exclaimed, hugging his two friends one by one. His mom was standing in the doorway, smiling.

"Off you boys go then," she said and Remus waved goodbye to his mother. "Come back around dinner time!" she called and Remus murmured agreement.

Remus and his two friends went to the nearby park, and they ran around, having fun like real kids for about two hours.

The three of them then settled down, eating the Bertie Bott's every flavor Beans that Theo had brought for them. All of them then just sat there, talking and laughing.

"Hey guys… There's something I wanted to tell you guys… And I've put it off for a while…" Noah started and Remus stared at him. What could it be, he thought.

"I'm moving…" he announced at last, and Remus' heart sank. Moving! He thought sadly, what if I never see him again…

"Where too?" Theo asked.

"I don't really know," Noah admitted, "My parents just told me it's going to be pretty far…"

The three of them hugged, and Remus suddenly thought that if he was going to move, he should finally spill his secret. Besides, he had been friends with Theo and Noah since forever and he was sure they weren't going to judge.

"Guys," he began and the two of them looked at him expectantly, "We've been friends for a really long time, and I think it's time I admitted something to you guys…"

"You can tell us anything," Noah said gently, and Remus realized that it probably was a good idea to tell his friends.

"I'm a werewolf," he admitted, looking up and he saw blank faces in front of him, so he couldn't tell how they felt.

Theo stood up, walking a bit and picking up a pointy stick from the ground.

"Is that fine…" Remus asked warily.

"If I knew you were werewolf," Theo said, his gaze still expressionless. "I'd never have been your friend…"

Remus felt tears streaming down his eyes, and he backed up.

"Yeah, werewolves are disgusting half-breed creatures, now I'll never feel safe around you!" Noah shrieked and Remus backed up even more.

"Please! Let me explain! I'm not like the rest of them!" Remus wailed.

"Once a werewolf," Theo began, "always a werewolf…" he ended darkly and the two of them began cornering him .

Remus cowered, "Don't hurt me," he whimpered, closing his eyes and bracing for a beating…

Noah hit Remus in the ribs quickly, as though he didn't want to touch him. Remus put an arm

Around his chest, more tears streaming down his face.

"Please!" Remus pleaded, "Leave me alone!" He tried to escape, but Theo scratched him with the sharp stick he was holding, and fresh, hot, blood oozed from the new wound in Remus' arm.

He began running, faster than he ever had in his life, not daring to turn back.

"Get out of here werewolf!" One of the boys screeched.

"Yeah! And never come back!" the other one said.

Remus flung open the door to his house, panting in the doorway. Remus' mom came over gasping when she saw Remus' arm.

Remus couldn't help but break down, he fell to his knees, and his mother rushed over to him, leaning down.

"I, I" he stuttered, sobs shaking his body, "I told them, that, that I'm a werewolf,"

His Mom hugged him tightly, sympathy swelling up in her amber gaze.

"And, and… they attacked m-me," he said, and Remus's mom began brushing his hair with her fingers, in a calming way.

"I'll never tell anyone again," he said at last. Remus' life was hard enough, but now that he knew he couldn't trust anyone with his secret, he might never have friends again…
