Finished the anime for the first time a while ago, as well as the OVA 'Two Shots/All or Nothing', and read the manga as well alongside it. Really loved 'em.

The first saga is a slow start (and much more episodic in the manga) but it picks up pace quite well, and is overall really good.

The second and third sagas are masterclasses IMO, and both are peak.

The final saga is quite flawed, in both manga and anime, but it has many good moments still, and I did like the final Yusuke vs. Yomi fight in the anime, plus the ending was still great.

All in all, one of my favorite manga/anime now, and Togashi did Hunter x Hunter too.

Anyways, this is a little one-shot for fun, enjoy.

"Yukina-san, did you ever find that lost brother of yours you'd mentioned?" Kazuma Kuwabara asked Yukina the ice maiden, causing her to look up at him. "If you haven't, I can help you with it. It is my promise, a man's promise!"

"I don't think I have", Yukina noted, looking away, quite unsure and hesitant herself. "But thank you for the offer, Kuwabara-kun."

"All right, if you need help, you know who to call", Kuwabara said happily while pointing at himself with a grin, Shizuru rolling her eyes from the corner, while Kuwabara walked out of the house, seeing Botan watching Yusuke, Kurama and Hiei training amongst themselves.

"Will you join them?" Botan asked Kuwabara.

"In a while, just need to think on something first, Botan-san", Kuwabara muttered, looking ahead.

"About what?" Botan inquired.

"I need to help Yukina-san in finding her lost brother", Kuwabara told her. "Problem is….I don't know where to start."

"Oh that's no problem, Hiei is her brother", Botan revealed with a grin, then her eyes widened, her grin turning into a frown, as she realized what she'd just said, and she covered her mouth.

"What?" Kuwabara asked, turning to her, then noticed Yusuke, Kurama and Hiei had stopped training, having heard it too, Hiei glaring at Botan so hard it looked like he'd use 'Dragon of the Darkness Flame' on her.

Kuwabara looked confused, before he looked at Hiei, making a very shocked face. "No. You can't be... how... you don't even look like..." then he grabbed himself by his hair and pulled, losing it more, remembering that Yusuke had mentioned Hiei having a sister while kidnapped by Kaito, Kido and Yanagisawa, with his face burning red, while he seemed to be going mad. "AAAAAGGHH!"

"Sorry, Hiei", Botan apologized lamely, Hiei just doing his typical 'Hiei' scoff.

Kuwabara looked at Kurama. "Did you know?!"

"Well…" Kurama trailed off, as Kuwabara glared at Yusuke, Kurama and Botan.

"You all knew and didn't tell me?!"

"Well, you see", Yusuke started. "Hiei didn't want us to-"

"Shut up, Urameshi!" Kuwabara roared, with Yusuke, Kurama and Botan having silly, toothed grins on their faces, as Hiei shrugged, did another 'Hiei' scoff, and walked off.

"I can't believe you guys! I thought we were friends!"

And done.

I think Kuwabara would react exactly like this, if he ever found out.
