James walked in the park, looking around to see if he saw any of the guys but there was no sign of them.

After a while of looking, he saw Logan.

"Logan!" James called out.

Logan turned around and saw James.

"James? What are you doing here?"

"I'm back. I went to the Palmwoods but apparently you guys aren't staying there anymore then I went to the studio and Gustavo said you guys quit the band, two weeks after I left."

"Yeah, the band wasn't the same without you."

"I'm sorry for breaking up the band. I just needed a break. It was only supposed to be for a couple days and - "

Logan cut him off. "You don't have to apologize, James. I'm not mad at you."

"You're not?"

"No. Of course not. I understand you needed a break and during that I realize I don't want to be in a band. Don't get me wrong, I loved singing with you guys, but I find my passion."

"You're going to med school to become a doctor?"

Logan shook his head. "I tried going to med school, but I decided to try acting and I enjoy it. I get to be a doctor on T.V. and not have to worry about deadlines for quizzes or anything like that."

"Wow. Good for you, Loges. Are you on any show now?" James said, surprised with his friend answer.

"I am actually. It's called 'The Doctor Files'. It's a mystery and drama but I love being on it and I love the cast and crew." Logan said.

"That sounds like a good show. Are you a recurring character?"

"I'm the lead. The show just renewed for a third season and we're about to finish filming the last episodes of Season 2 next week."

"I should watch it sometime. It sounds like a really good show." James said. "Do you know where I can find Carlos or Kendall?"

"I'm not sure. I haven't really talked to them much after you left. I mean I talked to Carlos every once in a while, but he's been busy, and I haven't talked to Kendall in almost a year. He was the most upset when you left. Carlos might be in the Star Hotel."

"Thanks Logan." James said and went to search for Carlos.

James went to the Star Hotel looking for Carlos. He walked for a few minutes when he saw Carlos.

"Carlos!" He called out.

Carlos turned around, hearing a familiar voice he hasn't heard in two years.

"James?" He asked.

"Logan said you might be here. I'm sorry for leaving. I just needed a break."

"It's cool, James. I'm not mad. I understand you needed a break."

"So, you're not mad?"

"No, of course not. I missed you. It's great seeing you again."

"It's great seeing you again, Carlos. I missed you too. You know where I could find Kendall?"

"He's probably at the studio." Carlos said.

"Studio? I went there and Gustavo said the band was no more after I left you guys decided to end the band."

"He went solo, and he's not signed to Rocque Records anymore. Gustavo wasn't really happy when he found when Kendall went to another studio and me, and Logan are not really sure why he went to that studio." Carlos said.

"What studio?"

"Hawk Records."

"What?!" James said, surprised. "Why on Earth would he go there?"

"You'll have to ask him that if you can find him. If he's not there, then it's hard to tell where he is."

"Why did you guys stopped talking to each other after I left?"

"I still talk to Logan often. He's been busy with his show though. I'm a stunt double now and actually was on his show in one episode. I don't really know with Kendall. He was really upset when you left and then the band ended and he kind of just drifted apart. Me and Logan tried talking to him, but it does no good. I should get going. I have to get ready. I'm doing stunts for an upcoming movie, but we can talk later, James. It was great seeing you again." Carlos said.

James needed to find Kendall and talk to him. Why is he working at Hawk Records now? He couldn't understand.

James was heading to Hawk Records when he bumped into someone.

"I'm terribly sorry - Kendall?" He said, looking at him but he was different. His once blonde hair was now red, he was wearing eye contracts that made his eyes seemed blue and not green like they were, he had his nose and lip pierce, and he was wearing all black.

"Do I know you?" He said, annoyed.

"It's me, James."

"Doesn't ring a bell." Kendall said.

"We been best friends forever."

"Best friends don't leave without telling their other friends that he left." Kendall said, angry.

"I'm sorry I needed a break, and I did call when I got to Minnesota."

"You called Logan and Carlos. You never called me. I didn't care that you wanted to go back for a few days. What hurt was that you never had the gut to talk to me. I tried calling you, I sent texts and got no answer. Eventually, I gave up."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you. I just kind of got busy."

"Yeah, well I'm busy now."

"Why are you working at Hawk Records?"

"After you decided to abandon your friends and the band, the other two decided to quit the band and pursue other dreams. So, I was left alone. Then last year I got offered a deal with Hawk and took it."

"How can you trust Hawk after he tried to sabotage the band?"

"He doesn't abandoned people like other people who said they needed a break for a couple days, then show up years later." Kendall said, glaring at James with hatred in his eyes then walked away, leaving James hurt by Kendall's words.
