Episode 9: Dragons, Music, and Toys P2
-Duel Arena, You Show Duel School, Paradise City-
During the Tag-Between team of Ryuga and Celeste against Zuzu and Sora, Zuzu was beginning to Fusion Summon a powerful new Fusion Monster.
Zuzu: I'll fuse Soprano together with Mozarta! Together, you'll sing a sensational duet that will form an even Melodious Monster!
Both Monsters rose in the air before beginning to fuse. A bright light came from this fusion as Bahamut appeared besides Ryuga.
Bahamut: Heads up, Ryuga! The Monster she's summoning is very powerful!
Ryuga was surprised as he turned towards the silhouette emerging from the light, wondering what kind of Fusion Monster they're facing.
Zuzu: I Fusion Summon! Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir!
Appearing from the light is a giant pink flower. The petals unraveled to reveal a Pixie inside. She's a very light sky-blue shoulderless dress. She has big blue eyes, her hair is a shade of light blue and purple, curled in two tendrils on either side of her head curving back inwards, and one on top of her head that curved around itself. She has a pink see through ribbon with dark pink shades that curved over and behind her.

Sora: You did it, Zuzu!
Zuzu: Thanks to your teachings, Sora! Now, Bloom Diva, attack Meteor Black Dragon with Vaporizing Miracle!
Bloom Diva took a deep breath before letting out a sonic wave that shrouded Meteor Black Dragon.
Ryuga: Huh?! Why would she do that!? My Dragon has more Attack Points than hers!
Celeste: Clearly she couldn't be that reckless. There must be something more about Bloom Diva.
Zuzu: You're correct! You see, Bloom Diva cannot be destroyed by battle by a Monster that was Special Summoned, instead she destroys the Monsters she battles and you'll take the damage I would've taken! Wrecking Refrain!
Ryuga: Are you serious!?
Both Ryuga and Red-Eyes watched in horror as Bloom Diva put more power in her attack and it started to overwhelm Meteor Black Dragon, destroying him, and dealing Ryuga with 2500 points of damage.
Red-Eyes: If it hits, we'll lose!
Ryuga knew that, but it was already too late until the sonic shock waves were about to hit him.
Ryuga: AAAAH!
Red-Eyes: Ryuga!
Red-Eyes couldn't believe that Ryuga lost. But when the smoke cleared it revealed Ryuga on his knees, but he still had enough Life Points.
Ryuga/Celeste's LP: 150
Sora: What?! How did he survive that?!
Celeste: With this!
Everyone turned to Celeste and saw that she used an Action Spell.
Celeste: I use the Action Spell, Damage Choice Choice!
The Action Card Celeste used showed a smiling character standing between two holes, one in a red field, the other in a blue field, and they all had blue stars coming from it.
Celeste: This Action card gives me 2 choices; I can negate the destruction of Monsters, or I can halve the Battle Damage, the latter which I chose!
Thanks to that Action card, she was able to save Ryuga by lessening the damage to 1250 Attack Points.
Ryuga: Thanks for your help, Celeste.
Celeste: We're teammates… are we not…?
Celeste felt a little embarrassed saying that, since she isn't accustomed to it yet.
Ryuga smiled when she began to accept working with others.
Zuzu: There's nothing more that I can do. I end my turn.
Zuzu's hand: 1
Zuzu's set cards: 1
Red-Eyes: That Fairy is seriously overpowered!
Ryuga: Yeah. Now it depends on Celeste now and see if she can overcome that Monster's power.
Celeste had her eyes closed with a smile before calling out to Zuzu.
Celeste: Hey, Zuzu!
Zuzu: Um… yes?
Celeste: You seriously have one powerful Fusion Monster. Despite her beautiful appearance, her ability is quite difficult to get around. However, your Monster has one flaw!
This statement caught Zuzu and Sora by surprise.
Zuzu: A flaw!?
Sora: You must be bluffing!
Celeste: Then I'll show you then! I draw! Now I Tribute my 2 Angel Wisp Dragons!
The 2 Wisps were Tributed, and Ryuga knews what comes next.
Ryuga: Here she comes.
Celeste: Appearing now from the Heavens is the leader of all Angel Dragons! Here to lead the light! Descend!
A pillar of light appears that pierces through the skies. Zuzu, Sora, and even Skip were in awe at seeing the skies shine. Then descending from the pillar is Celeste's Ace Monster.
Celeste: Angel Dragon Yvysda!
Yvysda: (Heavenly Roar)...!
ATK 2600
Everyone was entranced by Yvysda's beauty.
Skip: Whoa… That is one pretty looking Dragon.
Red-Eyes was mesmerized as well.
Red-Eyes: You know, I wonder if I could ask her out.
He was then silenced by the ethereal growl of Blue-Eyes, so he stopped there.
Celeste: Now, Yvysda, attack Bloom Diva with Divine Celestial Strike!
Yvysda began gathering light energy in her mouth to fire.
Zuzu: What?! But you'll end up destroying your Monster and taking damage!
Celeste: Not quite! Bloom Diva's abilities work on Monsters that are Special Summoned, but Yvysda was Tribute Summoned, so Bloom Diva's ability wouldn't work on her!
Zuzu: Oh no…
Zuzu never expected that as Yvysda fired her attack at Bloom Diva, and it was too late for Zuzu to search for an Action card. Luckily, Sora picked one.
Sora: I got this, Zuzu! I use the Action Spell, Miracle! Saving Bloom Diva from being destroyed and we'll take half the damage!
A barrier appeared around Bloom Diva that blocked the beam of light just in time. Though Zuzu and Sora took damage.
Zuzu/Sora's LP: 1700-900
Celeste: I almost had her!
Sora: But you didn't. Thanks to me!
Zuzu gave Sora a grateful smile.
Celeste: I may not have been able to deal you any damage but I can still use this! I use the Spell, Heavenly Fusion!
The Spell showed a yellow-gold vortex showing a silhouette of Angel Dragon Givrim and Empyreal Angel Sword spinning around, with Angel Dragon Yvysda in the center.
Ryuga: She has her own Fusion Spell?!
Ryuga was surprised to see that since he thought Celeste didn't need a Fusion Spell.
Celeste: Now, by returning Yvysda, as well Arc-Angel Dragon Spright and Empyreal Angel Knuckler to my Deck, I can Fusion Summon!
Zuzu and Sora were surprised to see this.
Zuzu: Three Monsters?!
Sora: This is gonna be big!
Both Yvysda and the Monsters Celeste chose were sucked in a yellow-golden portal.
Celeste: With the union of all 3 celestial Monsters, the stone guardian will appear before us! I Fusion Summon! Empyreal Angel Golem!
Towering beside the ruin is a giant Golem that is twice the size than Battleguard King. Its hulking body is made of fine cut marble. It's wearing gloved mechanical gold gauntlets with large white round gems on it, as well as having golden mechanical feets. It has gold shoulder pads that have the symbol of the Angel Dragon on it, and connects behind on a golden metallic pad that unfurls into mechanical Angel wings that releases white energy. On its chest is a round crystal core with Fusion energy in it. Lastly, it's wearing a faceless golden mask with a white gem on it.

Zuzu: It's huge!
Zuzu and Sora were awed to see a huge Monster. So was Ryuga.
Ryuga: That's one incredible Monster you have there, Celeste!
Celeste: Hehe. Thanks! I end my turn with that.
Celeste's hand: 2
Set cards: 3
Sora: Alright! Guess I'm up next! I draw! And I'll activate Fusion Recovery to bring back Polymerization to my hand, along with a Monster that has been used to Fusion Summon!
The card showed a Fusion Material Monster materializing with its clawed hand first, coming out of a Polymerization Spell that came out of the Graveyard.
Sora: The Monster I'll bring back is Fluffal Bear!
Fluffal Bear returned to Sora's hand as the boy showed it to them.
Sora: And now I'll use Polymerization again! I'll fuse Fluffal Bear together with my Edge Imp Saber that is in my hand!
Ryuga: Another Fusion Summon.
Edge Imp Saber and Fluffal Bear appeared as they began to fuse.
Sora: Edge or sharpness and fury of Bear! When the two come together, you had better beware! I Fusion Summon! Here it comes, the most unbearable Monster you've ever seen! It's a cut above the rest, Frightfur Bear!
Fluffal Bear arms ripped out as they stretched by being held by having scissors as joints. His belly split open and sprouted large white energy scissors. His jaws had a darkness inside that held 2 evil glowing red eyes.
ATK 2200
Sora then turned to Zuzu.
Sora: Alright, Zuzu! Let's attack together!
Zuzu: Right! Bloom Diva, attack Empyreal Angel Golem!
Bloom Diva let out a loud wave of music. However, Ryuga jumped down as he grabbed an Action Card.
Ryuga: I'll activate the Action Spell Evasion!
The marble Golem sidestepped the sound wave attack.
Celeste: Thanks, Ryuga.
Ryuga nodded at Celeste.
Sora: Now, Frightfur Bear! Attack Red-Eyes!
Ryuga was surprised as Frightfur Bear prepared to attack Red-Eyes.
Ryuga: But Frightfur Bear is weaker than my Monster!
Zuzu: Don't be so sure.
Everyone turned to Zuzu, who grabbed an Action card.
Zuzu: I use the Action Spell, Extreme Sword!
The Action card showed a bluish white sword symbol in it.
Zuzu: During battle, this raises Frightfur Bear's attack by a 1000 points!
With the power of the Action Spell, Frightfur Bear size grew because of the power up.
ATK 2200-3200
Red-Eyes: That's not good!
The creepy Bear then threw a massive stretchy punch at Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!
Ryuga grunted, as he knew this attack will defeat them since they only have 150 LP.
Celeste: I activate Damage Vanish!
Everyone turned to Celeste,
Celeste: Now we wouldn't be taking any damage during this attack!
Sora: That may be, but Red-Eyes' still gonna take a hit!
The punch connected with Red-Eyes, sending him flying to the ruined tower and sending him crashing through the wall.
Ryuga: Red-Eyes!
With the battle ended, Frightfur Bear's attack returns to normal.
ATK 3200-2200
Sora: Now here comes my Frightfur Bear's famous ability!
Ryuga: Huh?
Frightfur Bear plucked Red-Eyes from the rubble and brought him close to his face.
Sora: When Frightfur Bear destroys a Monster, he can equip that Monster to itself and gain his Attack Points!
Ryuga: That means…!
Frightfur Bear raised Red-Eyes above him. Red-Eyes opened his eyes just in time to see Frightfur Bear open his "mouth" wide.
Red-Eyes: What the…?! GAAAAAH!
Frightfur Bear let Red-Eyes fall in his open mouth and chomped on him. Ryuga and Celeste watched in shock as Frightfur Bear chewed on Red-Eyes.
Celeste: It ate Red-Eyes!
Sora: That's right! And now Frightfur Bear's power increases by Red-Eyes' Attack Points!
Frightfur Bear grew again, now towering at the same size as Empyreal Angel Golem.
ATK 2200-4600
Ryuga sweated as he knew they were in trouble, but Celeste had just the solution.
Celeste: Sorry, but lunchtime is over! I activate the Spell, Mystical Space Typhoon!
One of Celeste's facedown flipped up, and a cyclone came out and destroyed Frightfur Bear's Equip Spell, which was Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon.
Celeste: Now your Bear doesn't have Red-Eyes to power it up!
Frightfur Bear shrank in dismay at having lost its meal and its boost.
ATK 4600-2200
Sora: No way… Now there's really nothing I can't do! I end my turn.
Sora's Hand: 1
Set cards: 0
Ryuga: Alright, it's my turn again! I draw!
Ryuga drew, and saw that the card was the last piece he needed.
Ryuga: Zuzu. Sora. This Duel has been great, but now it's time to bring it to an end!
Zuzu and Sora were surprised at what Ryuga said.
Sora: Huh? Is he thinking the Duel is going to end now?
Zuzu: He must have drew a card that that could turn the Duel in his favor.
Celeste was also curious to see Ryuga's move.
Ryuga: First, I'll use the Black Stone of Legend again to shuffle Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon to my Deck and the Black Stone to my hand!
Ryuga made the same move again.
Ryuga: I summon the Black Stone of Legend, and I Tribute it again to bring back Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!
Ryuga summoned the egg, and then quickly Tribute it as the egg exploded and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon is back on the field!
Red-Eyes: I'm back once more!
ATK 2400
Sora: He's doing the same move again!
Ryuga: I'm not done! I use Monster Reborn to bring back Red-Eyes Black Dragon!
Using the Spell card, Red-Eyes' original form appeared again at his Gemini form's side once more.
Zuzu: He brought his 2 Red-Eyes again.
Ryuga: And now I can use this! I use Black Metal Dragon special ability from hand!
Materializing on the field is a small black metallic Wyvern Dragon. Its whole body is made of forged metal. It has a very long spiked tail that ends in a trident, and 4 white eyes. It also appeared to have 4 pipes on its wings and thighs.
Ryuga: Using its ability, I'll equip it to Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!
Black Metal Dragon flew to the Gemini Dragon and started to merge with it, coating Red-Eyes body in a black metallic sheen.
Ryuga: This increases his attack by 600!
Red-Eyes: (Roar)...!
ATK 2400-3000
Zuzu: It has 3000 Attack Points!
Sora: But still isn't enough to wipe out all our Life Points!
Ryuga: Oh, I know! Which is why I'll use a different phase here using both my Level 7 Red-Eyes' and Overlay them!
Just as he said that, both Red-Eyes turned in purple energy and flew in the air!
Sora and Zuzu were surprised to see this!
Sora: What?! No way!
Zuzu: He can Xyz Summon!?
Ryuga: Using these 2 Monsters I build the Overlay Network!
A galaxy portal opened at Ryuga's feet and the 2 purple lights entered it, causing an explosion of galactic light.
Ryuga: Blazing Dragon clad in metallic black steel, burn all your foes to cinder! I Xyz Summon! Rank 7! Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!
Appearing on the field was Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, but with Black Metal Dragon becoming fully one with him as an armor. His 4 wings were still red-hot, but now the flames are coming from the upper wings on 4 pipes, as well as on Red-Eyes' thighs. Fire also spouts at the tip of his tail.
Red-Eyes: (Shriek)...!

Zuzu: Red-Eyes had an Xyz form!?
Sora: I sure didn't expect this… He! You just made things interesting, Ryuga! But can your new Monster actually win the Duel?
Ryuga: Oh yes he can, once I'll activate Black Metal Dragon other Special Ability!
When the equipped Monster is used to Xyz Summon, I can negate the ability of one Monster on the field, and that is your Bloom Diva! Black Negation!
Black Metal Dragon Spirit appeared above Red-Eyes and released a black wave that negates the aura surrounding Bloom Diva, much to the Fairy and Zuzu's surprise.
Zuzu: Oh no!
Zuzu knew she was in trouble now that her strongest Monster's ability was negated.
Ryuga: Celeste. Do you want to take care of the Bear?
Celeste: Gladly. Alright, Angel Golem! Attack Sora's Frightfur Bear!
Mechanical wings hummed as it lifted the giant golem and flew towards the small Frightfur Bear, who was getting scared right now.
Zuzu: Don't worry, Sora!
Zuzu quickly picked up an Action card from a tree.
Zuzu: I activate the Action Spell, Battle Lock! Sorry, but your Golem can no longer attack!
The card shows a scimitar sword wrapped in chains
The Spell glowed as it released chains that wrapped Angel Golem, stopping its attack, but Celeste was ready for it.
Celeste: Not so fast! I use Angel Golem's Special Ability! I send 1 card from my hand to the bottom of my Deck!
Celeste sends 1 of her hand cards to the Deck.
Celeste: In doing so, it negates your Spell and then destroys it!
A white beam came from the Golem's gem on its face mask and destroyed the Action Spell, freeing Angel Golem's from its chains.
Celeste: With that out of the way, my Golem can take out Frightfur Bear!
Angel Golem unleashed a titanic punch on Frightfur Bear, destroying it.
Sora: Aaah!
Sora stepped back as he felt the 800 points of damage they had taken.
Zuzu/Sora's LP: 900-100
Ryuga: Now Bloom Diva is the only one left. Red-Eyes! Attack Bloom Diva with Black Flare Blast!
Black Electricity and red flames gathered in Red-Eyes' mouth and fired a stream at Bloom Diva. However, Sora came to the rescue by picking an Action card and activated at Zuzu's side.
Sora: It's the Action Spell, Evasion! Now your attack is a miss!
Bloom Diva flew above the air in time to dodge the attack.
Zuzu: Thanks, Sora!
Sora: What did you say that the Duel is coming to an end? Cause we survived this!
However, a smirk appeared on Ryuga's face.
Ryuga: Sorry to disappoint you, but Flare Metal has another ability!
This caught everyone's attention.
Ryuga: When an opponent activates a card's ability when Flare Metal still has Overlay units, you'll take 500 points of damage!
Sora: What!?
Sora and Zuzu were shocked as Red-Eyes raised his flaming tail.
Ryuga: Now! Burning Shot!
Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon fired a shot from his tail. Hitting both Zuzu and Sora. Defeating them.
Zuzu/Sora's LP:0
Ryuga and Celeste: Wins!
The Action Field started to vanish as Celeste approached Ryuga.
Celeste: That was one impressive Xyz Monster. And 'congrats on your win.
Ryuga: Thanks. But it's our win, Celeste.
Ryuga held his hand to her. Celeste as she shook hands with him, congratulating each other for their teamwork.
Sora: Aw, man! I can't believe we lost!
Zuzu: Calm down, Sora!
Sora was making a whining tantrum while Zuzu tried to calm him down. Ryuga and Celeste then approached them.
Ryuga: Hey, don't feel bad, Sora. You guys were really close!
Celeste: Agreed. Your Fusion Summon and Monsters definitely threw us for a loop! That loss is nothing to be ashamed of.
Sora calmed down after hearing that, but he still felt discouraged.
Sora: Thanks… I guess…
Zuzu: Don't sweat it, Sora! Besides, it's thanks to your teaching that I was able to Fusion Summon so well. Even when I lost the Polymerization you set for me, I still managed to Fusion Summon! I really owe you one, Sora!
Sora blushed at Zuzu's words.
Sora: Well… when you put it that way, I guess you are right.
Zuzu then clenched her fist up with a determined smile.
Zuzu: I know that I have gotten stronger. Ryuga, will you challenge me to a Duel tomorrow again? I want to go even further and master more on my Fusion Summon!
Sora: Hey! Don'y forget about me! I still want to have a 1 on 1 match with you, Ryuga!
Ryuga was happy at seeing how eager Zuzu and Sora are.
Ryuga: You bet! And this time, I'll use my whole strength for this so you two better be ready!
Sora: Oh! I'll be more than ready! I'll have you buy ice cream when I win!
Celeste watched with a smile at feeling the Spirit of this group before turning to Ryuga.
Celeste: Ryuga, you're right. This School definitely has more than meets the eye. You've chosen a fine place to be. After all, with such Spirit in these 2 Duelists, there's no doubt there would be many more here.
Celeste's words pleased Ryuga very much.
Ryuga: Celeste…
Suddenly, the moment was shattered by Skips barging into the arena with tears in his eyes and arms wide open.
Skips: ZUUUZZUUU!
Zuzu: AACK!
Zuzu had no time to escape before Skip gave her a tight bear hug.
Skip: I'm so sorry for your loss, sweetie! Just remember that Daddy will always be there to support…
WHACK!
As fast as lightning, Zuzu whacked her Dad with her fan, and now Skip was down for the count.
Skip: Owww…
Zuzu: Geez! Grow up, Dad!
Sora, Ryuga, and Celeste sweatdropped at this scene happening again.
-Ryuga's Deck-
Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes were laughing at seeing Skip being punished by his own daughter again.
Red-Eyes: (Laughing)...! Look at that Human! It didn't take a second, and he's getting punished for the trouble he's making.
Blue-Eyes: He's just like you. Hot-blooded and a troublemaker!
Red-Eyes: Yeah… wait…
As the 2 Dragons were talking, Bahamut looked with a serious expression at Celeste, which White Night noticed.
White Night: What's on your mind, Bahamut?
Bahamut was quiet for a moment before he responded.
Bahamut: That girl, Celeste, may give off an aura of an honorable Duelist with genuine goals… However, I can sense there is something more about this girl than she shows.
White Night was curious at Bahamut's observation as both Dragons looked at Celeste.
-Paradise City-
School time is over. Ryuga and Celeste left You Show while Zuzu and Sora went to the Strong Dojo to meet their friends Yuya and Gong. Knowing Gong, he already won his Duel that Nico Smiley arranged, and now he's able to join the Arc League Championship.
Ryuga and Celeste were walking on the streets after a day of giving Zuzu some extra tips to improve her Deck.
Ryuga: Man! That was a great day! I'm glad that Zuzu has fully mastered her Fusion techniques. Now I can't wait for us to enter the Arc League! Right, Celeste?
However, Ryuga didn't get a response.
Ryuga: Celeste?
He turned around and saw that Celeste had stopped walking as she had a pensive look on her face.
Ryuga: What's wrong?
Celeste snapped out of her thinking as she looked at Ryuga.
Celeste: Oh! It's nothing, really. Hahaha!
Ryuga wasn't so sure about that. Celeste noticed that she couldn't fool Ryuga and sighed.
Celeste: Say, Ryuga? Would you mind meeting back at the Docks this evening? There's something that I want to talk to you about.
Ryuga wondered what Celeste was up to, but went with it.
Ryuga: Oh? Okay. In the evening then?
Celeste: Yes! I'll be waiting there! See ya! And don't keep a girl waiting!
With that, Celeste left as she waved at Ryuga, who waved back at her until she's gone.
Ryuga: Wonder what she wants to talk about?
Ryuga knew he'll have his answer in the evening.
-Docks, Paradise City-
Ryuga arrived at the Docks, and remembered about this place.
Ryuga: This is the place where I first found Celeste…
Blue-Eyes: There she is!
Seeing where Blue-Eyes pointed, he saw Celeste standing at the edge of the Docks as the ocean's breeze blew her blonde hair that's shining gold by the setting Sun.
Red-Eyes: A meeting in the magnificent glowing sunset near the ocean's breeze. What could be more romantic than 2 people in it. Hehehe!
Red-Eyes laughed as he was clearly trying to tease Ryuga, but this brought Blue-Eyes' anger again.
Blue-Eyes: GRRRR!
That shut Red-Eyes up.
Ryuga: Hey there, Celeste. I came as you requested.
Celeste turned to Ryuga and was happy to see him as he stood by her side.
Celeste: Glad to hear it. You sure you weren't followed by any LID, weren't you?
Ryuga: There weren't any LID in the streets, but I still remained cautious just in case.
The 2 remained silent as they heard the sound of the ocean and its gentle breeze until Celeste started talking.
Celeste: Ryuga… I wanted to thank you… for everything…
Ryuga looked at Celeste curiously as she continued.
Celeste: From when we first met here, you helped me when I was in need, you gave me such a fun Duel, and you taught me a different side of it that I never knew.
Celeste remembered how Ryuga found her unconscious and treated her to a Burger, of their Duel when Bahamut attacked her High Arc-Angel Dragon Celeste with Supreme Dragon Strike, and of him saving her from a falling rubble, and defeating both Zuzu and Sora with Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon.
Celeste: You made this trip to Paradise City eventful for me, and I am very grateful for that.
Ryuga smiled at Celeste.
Ryuga: You're very welcome, Celeste.
Celeste smiled back at him, until it turned into a frown as she looked down at the splashing water of the ocean.
Celeste: If only it could be the same back at School…
Ryuga got curious hearing that.
Ryuga: What do you mean?
Celeste: My School… (Sighs)... Is a very harsh training Academy where everyone is pushed to their limits in order to be the best, no matter what it takes. Both academically, mentally and physically. People all across the… country, are chosen to take part in the harshest training regimes and courses of Fusion in order to become the strongest and most skilled Duelist ever. Because of that, there are often times when most Students tend to use or betray others just to stand at the top. Even friends will turn against each other just to take the highest achievement. In truth; friends become a burden, while at times you may end up being used as a stepping stone for others to move forward while you are left in the dust.
Ryuga was shocked to hear such a horrible background from Celeste's School.
Ryuga: Celeste… that's…
Even Ryuga's Dragons were shocked to hear that.
Red-Eyes: I've heard that some Schools have strict policies and Students tend to cheat, but that really takes the cake!
Bahamut felt suspicious about this School as he stared at Celeste.
Celeste: I've got my share of betrayals too. I've had partners who were too weak or even tried to take advantage of me because I'm a girl, which is unfortunate for them since they all got beaten by my hand. After a while of being backstabbed, I decided that I can't trust anyone except myself, so I stopped trying to make friends there and always went on with my tasks alone with no help whatsoever.
The pained look in her eyes clearly showed that Celeste had a lot of unpleasant memories there. Ryuga was silent as he processed everything he heard from Celeste.
Ryuga: So it's true then.
Celeste: Huh?
Celeste looked at Ryuga, wondering what he's muttering about.
Ryuga: Back then, Dueling was supposed to be fun. That's how it was when we started playing it as kids. And as we grow, it became something more than that. It connects people, just as it did with you and me.
Celeste blinked in surprise when she heard that.
Ryuga: Back then, Dueling was just like I told you, but when Yuya's Dad, Yusho, vanished, things started to change, and not for the better. People started to use Dueling in a bad way all to get what they wanted. I've even heard that some Schools started to have the same policies as yours. I've even met some of those people during my journey to Paradise City.
Ryuga recalled everything he knew and those encounters with a sad was quiet as she processed everything Ryuga said.
Ryuga: That's kinda some of the reason why I'm Dueling. To stop people like them from hurting others and to bring smiles back to the world of Duels. If someone doesn't try, then things aren't going to get better.
Celeste smiled after hearing Ryuga's goal.
Celeste: You're a great person, Ryuga. I'm glad that I've met you on time.
Ryuga blushed a little, but then he caught something on Celeste's last words and he figured out why she called him here.
Ryuga: You're going back, aren't you?
Celeste: He… sharp as ever.
Celeste took a deep breath before turning to Ryuga.
Celeste: I'm glad for you though. You found yourself a great School and friends too.
Ryuga: You're my friend too, Celeste.
Celeste was surprised to hear that, but smiled with a blush in her face, happy that after all this time she managed to find an actual friend.
Celeste: I better be going now.
Ryuga: Okay. Hope we get to Duel each other again.
Ryuga held out a hand and Celeste gladly shook it. But then Celeste pulled Ryuga and kissed him on his cheek. Celeste stepped back as Ryuga's face was fully red. Red-Eyes jaw dropped at what happened, White Night and Bahamut were calm but were still very surprised. Meanwhile, a blue aura surrounded Blue-Eyes.
Celeste: J'espère que nous nous reverrons, beau.
With that, Celeste leaves a shocked Ryuga and his Dragons alone.
Red-Eyes: Normally I would say something about this, but right now it's very dangerous.
He eyed Blue-Eyes, who looked like she was about to blow the whole Dock.
However, no one notices the LID Drone hovering around as it caught them on live camera.
-Control Room, LID Headquarters, Paradise City-
Claude was watching the video showing Celeste and Ryuga at the Docks. He saw everything before the girl started leaving.
Claude: Follow her!
Female Operator: Yes sir!
The drone followed Celeste as she went a good distance before going around the corner of one of the warehouses. They then saw Celeste pull out a Duel Disk from a different design and put it on her arm. She pressed a few buttons on it, which released a bright light that engulfed her. When the light vanished, she was gone.
Claude: Seems that Mr. Declan suspicions were right about her.
Behind him, Shay saw the whole feed, and was furious at what he saw.
Shay: I knew it! She's one of them!
-Ryuga's Old House-
Back at Ryuga's House in the country, Basara was sitting in the Dining Room as he was checking an old picture.
Basara: I wonder how Ryuga is doing these days. I hope he's eating well.
Despite knowing that Ryuga could take care of himself, he still couldn't help but worry. Suddenly, someone knocked at his door.
Basara: Huh?
Basara was a little surprised since he didn't get too many visits. He got up and put the photo on the table. Which showed a tablet that has an engraving of Bahamut in it.
Basara: I wonder who it is?
He got to the door and opened to see who his visitor was and was surprised to see who was at his doorstep before giving a relaxed smile.
Basara: Well… It's been a while since we last met, Declan.
Declan: The same is to be said for you… Basara.

It has gold shoulder pads that have the symbol of the Angel Dragon on it and connects behind on a golden metallic pad that unfurls into mechanical Angel wings that releases white energy. On its chest is a round crystal core with Fusion energy in it. Lastly, it's wearing a faceless golden mask with a white gem on it.
