Letting out a groggily groan Johnny forced himself out of bed rubbing his eyes before falling with a loud thud
He was still burnt after his fight with Daniel so it's the main reason why he popped 2 tylenol before stumbling out of his room
His apartment was only so big so when he walked a total of 5 feet that's where he just stopped and sighed
Sam didn't want to go home and Johnny respected her wishes, It's not like this wasn't the first time she's crashed here although Johnny never expected this to be revisited
Setting her up with a spare pillow and blankets she took up the couch where she currently was sleeping as of right now. Johnny offered her the second room in his home but Sam only refused and he was secretly grateful for that
So now instead of getting ready to train his students in the ways of Eagle Fang he had not just any 17 year old girl taking up the space of his couch, But Sam freaking LaRusso. Daughter of Daniel LaRusso his apparent never ending rival
But it was only fair…..right ?
LaRusso took Miguel so he took Sam ?
Immediately Johnny shook his head, that was no way to think of this situation. And his very first priority was to get her home as soon as he could. He and Daniel already hated each other no other reason to fueling the anger by kidnapping each others kids
But when Johnny's stomach rumbled he knew he couldn't think on an empty stomach so with a final glance at Sam Johnny made way to his fridge trying his best to cook whatever was health to him and his fridge

Sam had been awoken to the smell of something sizzling on a pan making her nose recoil
Immediately waking up, gradually sitting up on the couch Sam had rubbed her eyes and blinked three times so that she could gain some of her vision back
She had looked around the apartment as she started to get her surroundings known again, Soon the apartment seeming more familiar to her as the seconds went by
With one more final eye rub Sam took off the covers that pooled her legs soon revealing the penguin pajamas she was wearing as she started to stand up to her feet
It felt pretty surreal to be back at Johnny's apartment. Mainly because last time she was here she was pitch drunk and when she woke up she found Johnny and Daniel beating each other half to death. But now, things are different. Now She willingly choose to be here
And she knew her dated hated her for it
Turning his head to find Sam walking up to his kitchen table Johnny had quickly picked up his pan
"Morning LaRusso, figured you'd be waking up soon so I started breakfast early"
With a small smile and a chuckle Sam sat down at the table leaving Johnny to place a plate in front of her
"Now I know you're used to the fancy gourmet meals and 5 star breakfast but sadly I don't have that, But don't worry. Because I got something even better"
Scraping the food off the pan Sam watched as the eggs and silences of ham dropped from the pan and were placed on the plate in front of her
Looking up at Johnny the blonde just sighed knowing he tried his best
"Yeah, I don't have any bacon…." he admitted making Sam laugh
"It's fine, thank you Johnny" Sam said acknowledging he was trying his best and she appreciated that
And he did too as with a quick head node and a rare flash of a smile from him Johnny poured her a glass of orange juice before taking his seat at the table
The awkward silence was definitely in the air between the two as they both sat in silence and just dug at their plates not even trying to touch their juice.
So much wanted to be said between the two but so little came out when it was time to talk about it. They didn't know how to approach this or where to even begin because quite frankly they both had different opinions on this little arrangement they had
"So I was thinking once you finish up you get dressed and I'll take you home" Johnny said but Sam Immediately shook her head and sighed
"If I go back Dad won't let me hear the end of it, weather it be about the fact that I spent the night here or that I left Miyagi-Do either way we'll be arguing" Sam admitted leaving Johnny to nod his as he was in a tough situation right now
"Plus I want you to train me" Sam said with nothing but pure determination in her voice
"No more half and Half I know Miyagi-Do now I want to really learn your style"
"Look Sam, emotions were running high last night. There was a lot of arguing and talking, now that the adrenaline is out of our systems and were able to think with clear heads it's time to be honest with ourselves" Johnny stated leaving Sam to drop her face
"You need to go back with your parents-"
"And I will" Sam said cutting him off
"But first you need to teach me offense. I need to learn how to strike if I wanna win the tournament"
Johnny tried to say something but Sam had only continued stopping the words from falling out of his mouth
"Johnny, you're one of the greatest fighters the Valley has ever seen. Just last night you drew with my Dad and beat his nerve blocking thingy. Johnny I chose you to be my Sensei because I knew you still had more to teach me, With a perfect mix of Offense and Defense I know I can win us the tournament and beat Cobra Kai but I can't do that if you don't teach me" she said practically pouting at Johnny leaving him to groan
"Ah don't do that" he said trying to fight her puppy dog eyes
"Please Johnny…I beg just teach me your style and I'll go I promise"
Looking at Sam once more Johnny had only shook his head again before standing up to take his and her plate
"One lesson and then I'm taking you home" he said leaving Sam to Immediately smile

Within the inside Dojo Daniel sighed sadly
He couldn't stop looking at the old Photo of him and Sam when she was a little girl. He smiled when he saw her in her little Gi posing for the Camera
Shaking his head a heavy breath of air left his nose as he turned to Mr Miyagi's photo
"I don't understand Mr Miyagi…..I tried to be the peacemaker ? I tried to reason with Johnny and be the good guy and what did I get"
With trembling hands Daniel fought back his anger
"The guy took my daughter…." he said snickering as he tried to fight the pain
"I just wanted to protect these kids and now I put the one kid I loved the most in harm's way with that Psycho….and now I….."
Again sighing Daniel shook his head. He forced himself to clear his mind and worry about his main dilemma later as now He and Miyagi-Do had a whole new problem to face

Punching the bag aggressively Demetri held the other end. Or at least he was trying to. Miguel wasn't making it easy to be his spotter While all the other Miyagi-Do's were continuing their stretches

"Demetri, is this really the time to be cracking Star Wars jokes right now ?" Miguel huffed leaving Demetri taken back a little
"Majority of our team is gone, our Alliance is broken. Sam is with Sensei Lawrence. Hawk has been MIA and I just ditched the only father figure I've ever had" Miguel said catching everyone up on just how many L's they took in a span of 12 hours
"We joined forces to beat Cobra Kai and now we're more disbanded and dysfunctional than ever. This could not get any worse"
"I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disagree with you" Daniel said making everyone turn their heads
Coming out of the inside Dojo Daniel held a shaken and distressed demeanor on his face as he held a slip of paper in his hand ready to be the bearer of bad news
"The All Valley committee just announced big changes for this year's tournament"
"What kind of changes Sensei ?" Miguel asked leaving Daniel to quietly hand him the paper as all the Miyagi-Do's crowded Miguel ready to read
"It's a whole new ball game" Daniel said and everyone agreed as they just read off the new rules
"They're introducing Skills Competitions ?" Demetri said glancing up at Daniel
"Kate, Board breaking…weapons display ?"
"They added a separate girls division…." Miguel said looking up at Daniel's sorrow face finally understanding why he was like this
"That means they'll be two all Valley champs this year" Daniel said confirming everyone's suspicion
"Looks like you were wrong Miguel, this could get worse" Chris said leaving Miguel to just closed mouth sigh
First they lost Robby, and yes while that was tremendously bad. Like they all almost died at Sam's house bad, THIS was even worse. Not only did they lose both their best fighters in Robby and Sam. But the one time having Sam benefited them so that they could end all this THEY LOST HER ! at least they gained Miguel for the Boys division after losing Hawk so that was a huge win
"Wait, what does that mean for the bet with Cobra Kai ?" Nate asked
"There will be a grand champion trophy for whichever dojo wins the most points" Daniel explained
"Would've been nice to have Sam right now….The girls division is easily hers" Nate said
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement having Miguel and Sam to fight each separate divisions would guarantee them a win but now things looked really shaky
"With Miguel and Demetri here I have total confidence that the skills and Boys Division will be ours for the taking for the taking. Whether Sam decides to come back or not will be her choice but we still have the means to beat Cobra Kai with what we have" Daniel said confidently, leaving Miguel to nod his head. But Demetri was not on the same page and neither was the rest of the team as Demetri, Chris, Nate and the rest of Miyagi-Do looked at one another in concern
"Did he say my name ?" Demetri said leaving Daniel to chuckle
"Look no Offense Mr LaRusso, But we're a bunch of Rudy's" Demetri said to everyone's agreement. "sure we're good for the occasional inspirational moment but we're not exactly Center mat material"
"Miguel's practically on his own with this one…..If we had Hawk it would guarantee us the Boys Division though" Chris stated much to Demetri's agreement
"Or he who shall not be named" Demetri said causing everyone to look at him before he looked at Miguel in small concern

"Look" Daniel sighed
"I know you're missing some of your friends, trust me this still feels weird to teach Miyagi-Do without…Sam" Daniel said swallowing the huge jump in his throat

"But, it's time to put the past behind us alright ? Don't worry. By the time the tournament comes around you're gonna realize this was the best thing that ever could've happened to us"

Finding a new place to train in the forms of the old abandoned Factory Johnny took Daniel. All the Eagle Fang's added with newest unofficial member Sam were currently listening to Johnny's rant about the news of the tournament changes
"Skills competition, bullshit, Kate isn't Karate. It's dancing ! " Johnny said making Sam laugh
"The only good thing that came out of the rules change was the separate Girls Division now" Mitch stated stopping Johnny on his rant
"With Sam here now we have a free trip to the finals no sweat as long as we do fine in the skills competition we can still win this" Mitch said much to all the Eagle Fang's agreement and Sam only smiled at the confidence everyone gave in her
But Johnny was the only one to disagree as ironically you would think he would agree
"Don't be so sure about that, she's not staying for long" Johnny said leaving both Sam and the rest of Eagle Fang's faces to drop
"Why not ? I told you I was all in" Sam argued
"I agreed on one lesson, that's it. Last thing I need is your Dad flipping out on me more I'm already submerged in water as is" Johnny said leaving Sam to just pout before Johnny looked at the students he had
But truthfully with the newfound News that Sam was total Eagle Fang everyone went back to panicking
"So we have No girl for the women's division ?...No Hawk ? No Miguel ? and no forms of Kata" Bert said out loud and already 2 people left the factory with no one trying to chase after them because well….who could blame them ?
"Well if you won't let me fight for you, you could at least take my advice" Sam stated gaining Johnny's attention
"Looks like you need some female students"
"Fine" Johnny caved before looking at all of Eagle Fang

"Cobra Kai is gonna be the only destination for Karate in the Valley. I want our logo on billboards, T-shirts–"

With shaking hands Tory felt physically sick
Ever since their "Strike Back" that apparently forced Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang to split apart Tory couldn't help but shake this feeling that pitted within her gut

Immediately handing Johnny his paper back the lacrosse girl rolled her eyes and scoffed before walking away soon making Johnny sigh as that pretty much marked down every sports girl out here
Coming in with a laugh Sam shook her head

"Apparently some perv was creeping on the track team so we're gonna practice inside" she said as she held her pom poms within her hands and Sam only turned to Johnny who was trying to convince some girls to sign up with no prevail before laughing

"No, no. Sorry Moon, no cheering for me. I'm actually here with Sensei Lawrence to try and recruit for his new Dojo, we need a girl fighter for the new rules"
"Oh ?...But Sam, you're a girl ?" Moon said confusingly before she Immediately gasped covering her face with her pom poms she was so adorable

But before Sam could run off to Johnny Moon had stopped her quickly grabbing her hand
"Hey…you and Miguel aren't…..together right ?" Moon asked leaving Sam confused again as she started to stammer

Putting a hand up Sam stopped her right there
"Me and Miguel are just friends and no he's not seeing anyone so go ahead make your move" Sam said leaving Moon to blush before nodding her head. And with a final smile Sam ran off trying to find Johnny

Watching Piper do multiple backhand handsprings before ending with a flip Johnny and Sam watched the girl in utter amazement as they were both practically thinking the same things

As they continued to watch Piper's routine a man had walked up to Johnny and Sam looking at them with a smile
"You guys are adorable" he smiled getting both their attention

Confused Sam and Johnny looked at one another before they suddenly realized what the man was saying making their eyes go wide

Mindlessly nodding his head Johnny didn't stop walking
"Yes I will be awake" he groaned only making Sam shake her head

"Let me tell you why my Dojo is a perfect place for a modern young woman like yourself. We live in a world where you gotta be an alpha to survive, you're either a killer or you're dead meat. You got to be a man" He said making Piper purse her lips will Sam just groaned but that didn't stop Johnny from continuing his speech
"At Eagle Fang we confront that problematic phrase and make it empowering for all" he said Immediately grabbing both girls attention again Sam's the most as she just started to look at him crazy

Leaving Sam completely and utterly speechless Piper just nodded her head and smiled knowing what she was getting from Joining Johnny

"Well it's your lucky day then" Johnny said as he handed Piper his flyer leaving her genuinely interested as she began to read while Johnny and Sam turned to each other and smiled before high fiving
Everything was going great !
"Hey Piper ! Come check this out !" a girl said getting her attention as she looked back at them before looking at Johnny and Sam
"Alright this seems cool, I'll check it out" Piper said leaving Johnny and Sam to smile before she went to her friends
Right when Piper left Johnny and Sam Immediately cheered each other on as Sam was left utterly confused on what just happened !
"Holy shit ! Johnny I didn't even know you knew what any of those words meant !" Sam said leaving Johnny to just scoff
"Of course I don't you think I pee sitting down" he said before slapping her arm with his flyer leaving Sam to roll her eyes for the final time but this time she smiled
"Guess we should gather up the Eagle's and tell them you have your girl champion…."
Seeing the visible hurt in her face Johnny pursed his lips. He knew how bad she wanted this but he just couldn't give it to her. Not after everything going on with her Dad and the high tension. It was just too much and he didn't want to drive that ridge between him and Daniel even more
"Aw cheer up LaRusso" he told her reassuringly
"Tell you what, I'll bring you back to the Warehouse and teach you some things" Johnny said making her face light up
"You can stay and coach Piper but when she is caught up you have to go back to your Dad ok ?"
Not even responding with words Sam Immediately went to hugging him leaving Johnny speechless and quite awkward
But that didn't stop him from lightly hugging her back
He was hugging a LaRusso…..this was such a weird day

Coming down the stairs Amanda's attention had Immediately been caught when the doorbell rang stopping her from turning right to the Kitchen and instead turning left

Opening the door Amanda was left speechless seeing Tory's distressed face
"Mrs LaRusso….I….need your help" Tory admitted and all Amanda could do was nod her head and smile softly glad to see Tory was finally reaching out to someone

"It looks like she got a bunch of new designer gear for their new students," Sam said as Johnny left the bunched up group of Eagle Fang's to walk over to a pile of cinder blocks set up

Looking at all the Eagle Fang's Johnny looked at what he had and figured he'd make this work if he had too. Because he could turn a scrawny little nerd like Miguel into a All Valley champ he sure as hell could do it again
"EAGLE'S FALL IN !" Johnny yelled and Immediately everyone listened lining in a row next to Sam
"Pennis Bret…..Mitch" Johnny corrected himself leaving Mitch surprised before smiling that someone actually knew his name

"That debate girl, Bert told us about. Do you and Bert know where to find her ?" Johnny asked leaving Mitch and Bert to look at one another before answering

Opening the door to the concession store that was only a couple of walks away from Cobra Kai Robby opened the door to Immediately greet the man behind the counter with a quick dap up before checking for his pick of snacks
The door's alarm rang again and Robby paid no attention to it until the person that walked through spoke to him
"Robby…." Daniel said getting his attention
Immediately scoffing Robby put down what he had just picked up before putting his hands in his jacket pockets

"This'll only take a minute"
"Yeah well you can have that Minute because I'll save you the time" Robby smirked
"You realised you're training a bunch of wimps. And you need a male champion right ?" Robby said leaving Daniel to just take a deep breathe confirming his suspicions
"Heh, you don't think Miguel can beat me" Robby said that only fueling his smirk as he looked at the dilation in Daniel's eyes
"And what was your sales pitch "I'm here to rescue you" "this isn't who you are, Robby, I can help you" Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah"
"I've said all that before" Daniel said coming to realisation with himself
"So how about I tell you the truth, Your breaking Sam's heart" Daniel said leaving Robby to tighten his jaw

No one will even care about that dumbass Crane Kick of yours once I win this tournament Because everyone will watch as I'm the one who took down Miyagi-Do and….Heh, Eagle Fang. You can go back to selling your Cars and My Dad can go back to being a Drunk loser and everyone will benefit from not having to worry about Karate anymore"
Leaving Daniel to just scowl at him Robby figured he's had enough talking and just walked past Daniel ready to leave
"So let me tell you what happens next" Daniel said making Robby turn around

He'll seem decent enough, show you a few moves and then he'll warm his way in, chip away at you and push you past your limits. "New Equipment just got in. Why don't you go check it out ?" Silver told Robby leaving the Teen to Immediately turn around and look back at Daniel with a thought before leaving the store fully leaving Silver and Daniel alone

The front door had opened and closed and Amanda had just thought it was Daniel coming home but with her luck it wasn't…..she wished it was though
"You're a Natural Eagle LaRusso ! Natural Eagle !" Tory and Amanda heard Johnny say as he and Sam had walked through the door
"I promise by the time the tournament comes around you'll be kicking ass from her too-"

Getting the sense that Johnny's overstayed his small welcome he just turned around ready to leave but the hits just kept on hitting as when the door opened and closed again Daniel had came home ready to say something but stopping once he saw Johnny
"Of course" he laughed leaving Johnny to snicker

"Yeah after she was gone with you for most of the day !" Daniel shouted and before Johnny could say anything Amanda sprouted out of her seat
'EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP FOR A MINUTE !" she yelled making all eye son her

"Tory, I'll sign off on the papers and you can return to school this week-"

"Daniel calm down" Amanda said
"Hey guys I'm back !" Anthony said closing the door behind him before dropping his bag
"I ACED MY MATH TEST !" he proudly said holding the fat A he had on the paper
"You know tests are actually easy if you pick up the book ? who knew ?" Anthony chuckled but his proud face soon dropped when he noticed no one was paying attention to him
Seeing Daniel, Sam and Amanda arguing in the Kitchen Anthony pursed his lips

Seeing they paid no attention him again Anthony's pursed lips only tuned into a scowl as he angrily grabbed his bag and marched up the stairs unnoticed by his family as they just continued fighting

"As long as she's in school she has something to lose Sam she is not going to hurt you, I know Eli told you about her situation-"
"GOD I'M SO SICK ! OF HEARING HER LITTLE SOB STORY ! SHE ALSO JUST TRAUMATISED THE ONLY GUY THAT'S EVER TRULY LOVED HER ! IT'S 2 STEPS FORWARD 10 STEPS BACK WITH HER !" Sam said leaving her parents to sigh
"It's like no one listens to what I have to say ! God !" Sam groaned before forcing herself out of the conversation and soon Daniel and Amanda heard the front food slam leaving them both to lick their lips and shake their heads
"Thanks for the backup" Amanda sighed

"NO ! BECAUSE ACTUALLY THIS IS YOUR FAULT !" she shouted making Daniel step back
"My fault ? SHE LEFT MIYAGI-DO ! SHE'S TRAINING WITH JOHNNY ! SHE'S FIGHTING FOR JOHNNY !"
"OH MY GOD DANIEL SO ! FUCKING ! WHAT !" Amanda yelled almost at the top of her lounges Leaving Daniel surprised
"GOD ! ARE YOU REALLY THIS PRESSED THAT SHE WANTS TO TRAIN UNDER YOUR HIGH SCHOOL RIVAL ?! IS THIS PETTY DICK MEASURING COMPETITION YOU HAVE WITH JOHNNY THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU THAT YOU'RE MAD OUR DAUGHTER RATHER WEAR A DIFFERENT GI COLOUR AND FIGHT DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU LIKE !"
"Amanda it's not about the fighting or training it's about her way of life, as you can see she's acting differently. And it all started BECAUSE JOHNNY'S TRAINING HER ! and you are helping Tory anyway ?! what's up with that !"
Letting out the biggest sigh Daniel's ever seen Amanda take Amanda just clapped her hands before bringing them up to her face
"Did I ever tell you about the time I was arrested ?" Amanda asked leaving Daniel confused
"What it was a high school prank so what ?"
"Right…. By prank I meant I took a baseball bat to my math tutor's car…..with her in it" Amanda admitted leaving Daniel spooked

Shaking his head in disbelief Daniel didn't know what to say

"Trust me I've been trying for 2 hours nothing"
Shaking her head and groaning Sam snatched Eli's laptop out of his hand before throwing it on the couch next to Demetri forcing Eli to look up at Sam's raging eyes
"Hey asshole, you're the one that got me into Karate remember ?" Demetri said as he stood up next to Sam
"I was perfectly happy playing Dungeon Lord after school, But you kicked my ass constantly, Broke my arm and forced me to go to Miyagi-Do and you know what" Demetri scoffed with a smile
"It was the best damn decision I've ever made ! I got Stronger than confidence, got the girl of my dreams…..even if she ends up eventually leaving me for some hot foreign dude this summer" he said making Sam and Eli look at him before he shook his head
"Hell, I'm actually really excited about the All Valley Tournament ! now yes I'm gonna get punched and kicked and beat up by Kyler or Robby or even that little fast guy in Cobra Kai but I'm excited because I know BOTH of you will be there with me"
Nodding her head Sam knew it was her turn to speak
"Eli…the first thing you promised me when you joined the Dojo was we'd save Tory and Robby together. I promised you I'd help you save the same girl that tried to kill me numerous times, Do you know how insane that sounds ?!" Sam said leaving Eli's eyes to slightly drop
"These last few months I spent with you I gained more than just a new body in the dojo, Eli you're one of my closest friends now….and if you think some Mohawk that you dye different colours every month top your head is what makes people think of you any differently than your just plain wrong, Because with or without the Mohawk you're still the same Eli we all know and love"
Staying silent at Sam and Demetri's words both the two standing teens let out annoyed groans as nothing they said seemed to be getting through to him
Alright time to bring out the big guns
"I didn't want to do this to you my dear friend but you leave me no choice" Demetri said a she pulled out his phone and took a seat next to Eli

Playing the Video Sam, Demetri and Eli watched the retro and super cheesy low grade video Demetri and Eli made in Freshman year as they repeated "Demetri and Eli Binary Brothers"
The video made Sam laugh while Demetri couldn't help but smile himself As Eli had to hide his own smile as well
"Dude why are you showing me these ?" Eli asked and Demetri just looked at him

"My Best friend" Demetri corrected before licking his lips and taking a deep breathe

Walking up to her opponents podium the girl grabbed his book and ripped it in half before throwing the papers at him

With background noise playing in the back as Daniel had speakers set up all the Miyagi-Do boys minus Miguel who was just watching stood before Daniel
"I know you've all been in fights before, But a tournament the atmosphere is different, There's no backup coming, It's just you, on your own, in the spotlight with the crowd cheering your name"
Immediately Nate threw up at the thought of it and Daniel and Miguel had only groaned
"Demetri, come up here be the hero" Daniel said and Demetri shook his fears away before walking up the stage
Chanting Demetri's name to emulate the Tournament Everyone watched as Demetri and Daniel bowed to one another before getting into fighting positions
Attacking fist Daniel tested Demetri's offense and it held up well as he blocked every jab and low punch Daniel threw it him
It wasn't until Demetri threw a kick that Daniel was able to dodge before attacking making Demetri groan
"DAMN IT !"
"No ! no. Demetri that was great" he reassured calming Demetri down
"That kick was awesome ! all right ? you just have to be careful you don't expose your–"
Coming to a pause Daniel's eyes diverted and soon a smile was placed on his face when he saw who was before him

Turning their heads everyone grew smiles as well once they saw Eli standing before them with a small smile on his face

Shrugging his shoulders Eli responded
"It doesn't matter. I'm just here to do what I can to help the team out" he said before looking at Demetri and Miguel
"Even if I have to be Robin" Eli stated and Miguel and Demetri couldn't hold back their smiles
"That's good. The more help the better, but first you need a Gi" Daniel said before rushing off to get Eli one
Stepping up to his fellow Miyagi-Do Brothers everyone welcomed Eli with open arms but quite frankly
They needed him more then he needed them

With her hands wideout 2 security guards scanned Tory up and down with scanner before announcing she was good to go and handing her bag
Tory had Immediately received looks and quite frankly she knew she deserved them all but that didn't stop her from looking side to side to see everyone

Looking around the Hall Tory saw everyone looking at them, phones slowly being brought out as she looked back at Sam
"I said do you understand me ?" Sam said and Tory scrunched her first before nodding her head
"I'm coming for you Nichols" Sam said before walking away and Tory just couldn't help herself praying to whatever god that she wasn't pushing her luck
"Ready when you LaRusso" Tory responded back and Sam had just smirked and kept walking
