Walking into the boys' apartment, Bernadette grabbed Amy by the wrist and dragged her towards the middle of the living room. "Amy, these are Howie's friends that I was telling you about. This is Raj Koothrappali and the guy sitting next to Penny is her fiancé, Leonard Hofstadter, and of course, this is Sheldon Cooper." She said as she pointed them all out.
"This is my cousin Amy Farrah Fowler." She said as she introduced them all to each other.
" Hello everyone." Amy said with a friendly smile as she sat down on the couch.
Sheldon was standing by the kitchen island as he watched Bernadette's cousin engaged in a conversation with Raj and Leonard. He could already feel his own heart beating against his chest and he could already feel his whole body getting warm by just looking at her. She's beautiful. Sheldon thought to himself.
Oh my God, what's happening here? Sheldon thought to himself as he shook the thought of Amy out of his mind and kept his feelings under control. Picking up the box of pizza from the kitchen island as he walked towards the couch.
"Well, everyone, dig in." Sheldon said as soon as he set the box down on the coffee table. The moment Sheldon sat down next to Amy, his whole body started to get a tingling feeling, like he had never experienced before. With her thighs touching his, he was already feeling warm inside. He really needed to keep his feelings under control.
"Thank you guys for letting me join you all for pizza." Amy said as she leaned forward and grabbed a couple of slices of pizza before sitting back against the couch.
"Of course, Amy. We're happy to have you. How are you liking Pasenda so far?" Leonard asked, starting another conversation with her.
"So far, I like it. I haven't really had a chance to explore Pasenda, considering that I just got here this morning." Amy answered as she took a bite of her slice of pizza before taking a drink of her water.
"Well, if you're interested, maybe Bernadette and I can show you around Pasenda this weekend." Penny offered as she took a drink of her beer.
" Really? Thanks, Penny. That would be great." Amy said excitedly.
" Anytime Sweetie."
" So, Amy, where are you from?" Raj asked as he reached for another slice of pizza.
"I am originally from San Diego, where I went to SDSU for two years."
" What made you want to move here?" Leonard asked.
"Well, I'm a biologist, and since SDU doesn't have the kind of lab I need, I heard Caltech does." Amy answered as she took another bite of her pizza.
Sheldon just kept staring at Amy as he couldn't get over how beautiful she was, which is strange for him because Sheldon never really cared for human emotions or anything like that. But for some reason being this close to Amy has stirred something inside of him, and he's not sure how to process it. He might have to do some research.
Sheldon snaps back to reality the moment he hears the word Caltech coming out of Amy's mouth." Did you just say, you're going to be working at Caltech?"
Amy nods her head." Yeah, I start tomorrow morning. Which reminds me, it's actually getting late. Thanks again for letting me join you guys for pizza, I hope to do this again soon. Good night everyone. I will meet you in the car." She said to Bernadette before walking out of the apartment.
Leaning back against the wall Amy finally realesed the breath she was holding and waited for a moment for her heart to slow down. Amy knew Sheldon kept staring at her the whole time, which is why she had to get out of there as soon as possible because she could already feel the way her body was reacting to him by how close they were sitting together, and she had to keep it under control which is hard for Amy to do.
" Man, that was close." Amy said as she exhales deeply and ran downstairs before anyone caught her.

" So what do you guys think of Amy?" Penny asked a few minutes after Howard and Bernadette left the apartment.
" She seems nice." Leonard answered as he took a drink of his water.
" I like her." Raj answered with a huge grin on his face.
" What about you Sheldon?" Penny asked him.
" What Do I what?" Sheldon asked as he didn't understand the question.
Penny sighed as she rolled her eyes. "What do you think about Amy?" She asked, repeating the question.
"Oh! She seems alright." Sheldon answered as he shrugged his shoulders and got up from his spot, grabbing the half-empty pizza box and setting it on the kitchen island.
". She seems alright?" Penny asked with a snort.
" What?" Sheldon asked in confusion.
"You like her." Penny said with a smirk as she couldn't help but tease Sheldon a little bit.
"Oh, please, Penny, don't be ridiculous. I am a man of science." Sheldon said with a scoff.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Penny asked in confusion.
"It means I am incapable of having any kind of feelings, especially feelings for Amy Farrah Follwer."
"Dude, you couldn't stop staring at Amy. You were practically drooling all over her." Raj said with a chuckle as he took another drink of his beer.
" You should totally ask her out." Leonard said with a smirk.
Sheldon looks at his roommate and friends as if they've all lost their minds. "Excuse me." He said as he quickly turned around and walked into his room, slamming the door behind him.
Sheldon started pacing back and forth in his room. "What makes them think I actually have feelings for Amy? I barely know the woman. True, she is a scientist, but she studies biology, and everyone knows biology isn't real science. Besides, what does a biologist and a physicist have in common?" He asked himself.
Shaking the question and the thought of Amy Farrah Fowler out of his mind. Sheldon changed into his pajamas and climbed into bed. "I, Dr. Sheldon Lee Cooper, have no feelings for Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler whatsoever." He said as he turned his lamp off and laid down against his pillow, trying to fall asleep without thinking about Amy. But of course that wasn't going to be easy.
