This chapter took awhile to write for.
I do have my reasonings, those reasonings being… Well I've been doing other things. I was stuck writing something else, until I decided to just bin it. I was helping my friend get started with his Total Drama Competition Fanfic. And also I just wanted to make sure this chapter was the best it could be.
Also, I REALLY appreciate the support that I've been getting. All of the nice reviews y'all have left seriously means the world to me. I didn't think that this fanfic would get a single positive review, let alone multiple. I know it's not a whole lot, but every positive comment is really appreciated. And every critique will be equally as appreciated.
Anyways, enough yapping. It's time for some drama!
The shot opened to mere minutes after Priya's elimination, where the members of the Katanas would all arrive back at their trailers.
"Well, that was a fun vote off." Jo said.
"I wouldn't necessarily call it fun." Brick replied.
Jo crossed her arms with a smirk. "What? Are you upset that you had to vote her off? Aww, Brick has a little crush."
Brick glared at Jo. "That isn't what I'm mad about. You threw out a good teammate!"
"Last time I checked Brick, a good teammate is someone who doesn't lose us a challenge." Amy spoke up. "Priya failed us as a leader."
"Yeah. I'm not even one of the people who voted for her, but I still think it's fine for her to be out of here." Chase said. "Never liked her anyways."
"Agreed." Max nodded. "She truly deserved to go home."
"You wanna know who else deserved to go home?" Duncan asked.
"Who?"
"You." Duncan pointed at the purple haired maniac. "Max, you're lucky that we didn't vote you out. If Jo weren't caught up in her personal drama, you would be gone!"
"I-"
"You will shut up." Duncan tells him sternly.
"Well since we're done for the day, whaddaya say we get back in our trailers and sleep?" Chase requested.
"Well we're probably gonna have another grueling challenge tomorrow, so I don't think sleep depriving ourselves is the smartest idea." Eva mentions.
"Then let's not wait any longer." Brick would walk over to the boys trailer and he'd open the door. "Come on guys."
The boys would all go into their trailer, as the girls would head to their own trailer.
"Uhh, Max is still here?" Justin noticed the evil-wannabe's presence. "Okay, who the hell got medically evacuated?"
"Nobody. For you see, my very intelligent team made a very intelligent move by keeping me. Because they know that without me, no one else will be able to make my absolute genius inventions." Max prattled on about how 'useful' he was. "Also… I am the main villain! Therefore, I have plot armor!"
"Dude, you aren't even a secondary villain." Lightning tried bringing him back down to earth. "This whole 'evil' persona isn't working for you."
Max looked at Lightning angrily. "It is no persona!"
"Well since he's still around, clearly y'all voted out one of the girls." Harold pointed out. "Did someone steal Eva's MP3 player again?"
"No. We- well they," Chase pointed an accusatory finger at Duncan and Brick. "Voted off Priya."
Damien would look confused at this revelation. "Uhh, why?"
"I'm with him." Scott said equally as confused. "Wasn't she one of your best players? And isn't Max one of your worst?"
"Yeah, that's exactly why I voted for Max." Chase replied.
"I never thought I would ever agree with one of your decisions." Damien commented. "But right now I do."
"Priya was skillful, sure, but she led our team to a loss." Duncan told them. "And since Jo was personally offended at Priya trying to take position as leader, we voted her off so that Jo could potentially lead us to victory. Don't believe me? Then maybe you'll believe Brick."
"U-Uhh, yeah. We voted off Priya so that Jo can lead our team to victory." Brick tried his best to hide his lie.
"Well that's sha-dumb. Jo can't get a sheep to not fall off a cliff, so her getting y'all to not fall off a cliff is impossible." Lightning criticized their decision.
"I'm not even going to question that analogy." Dave remarked.
"Also, sheep are dumb, but the reason so many walk off cliffs is because they have poor depth perception." Scott informed them as he weirdly smiled. "That, and lambs are taught to follow the older members of the flock, so that whenever one of them walks off a cliff, another will follow it because of this mentality."
"Wow. I'm surprised you know that." Harold states.
Scott crossed his arms, his smile turning into a cranky frown. "Of course I know it, I live on a farm! I have to deal with animals all the time."
"So, does that mean that you've dealt with cows?" Zee asks.
"Plenty of times." Scott answered.
"So… Have you ever gotten milk from it?" Zee questioned.
"Uhh, yeah."
"Oh, no. Not again." Chase uttered.
"That stuff is evil!" Zee jumped out of his bed. "I can't sleep in here! The milkman will poison me!" Zee would then run out of the trailer, breaking the door down.
"Just great." Topher looked at the rest of them. "Does anyone here know how to fix a door? I'm scared that the sunlight will give my beautiful face a skin rash."
"Topher, the challenges in this game usually happen in the hot sun." Dave mentioned.
"I can fix the door." Harold offered. "I was the star pupil at Wooden Steve's Door Fixing Camp."
"Okay, I believe some of the camps that you've gone to. But I don't believe that one." Justin said.
"Just watch me." Harold went over to the broken and he picked it up before realizing he didn't have any tools to fix it. "Uhh, anyone got a hammer and nails?"
Duncan facepalmed. "I'll head to the Arts and Crafts Center to get them."
The morning came, and Eva would be doing pull-ups on a tree, as she counted. "36. 37. 38. 39." Eva wouldn't have her gold necklace on, though it probably would go unnoticed for most people who were used to seeing Eva without it.
As Eva continued exercising, a squirrel would approach a tree stump where Eva's golden necklace would lay. The squirrel hopped up onto the stump, taking a long look at the necklace before picking it up with his mouth.
The rodent would get ready to skedattle, but he'd sense danger behind him. He'd turn around noticing Eva, huffing in anger as the squirrel held onto the necklace that she so very much cherished.
"If you don't give me back my necklace, I will hunt down your entire generation!" Eva threatened the animal.
The squirrel wouldn't listen to the raging gym rat, instead opting to run away prompting Eva to start chasing him.
The squirrel would run from Eva for approximately 30 seconds, before he'd be grabbed by a rodent-hunting survivalist.
"I'm in the mood for breakfast." Axel says with a smirk, scaring the squirrel. The survivalist would notice the necklace that the animal had, and she'd tear it away from him before looking at Eva. "Is this yours?"
"Yeah. Can I have it back?" Eva asked.
"Sure." Axel tossed the necklace back to Eva.
"Thanks." Eva looked at the necklace, noticing it was covered in the squirrel's saliva. "Ugh. I'm gonna go clean this thing."
"You go ahead and do that. I'm gonna fix myself some breakfast." Axel said, eyeing the frightened rodent.
"Okay… That's gross." Eva stated a bit weirded out. "Didn't your team get an entire feast last night? Shouldn't you still have leftovers?"
"On a team with Lightning and Zee, you'd be lucky to see leftover crumbs." Axel told her.
"Then I guess you better be thankful that Owen isn't a part of this cast." Eva would walk off to go wash her gold necklace.
In the forest Scott would be sitting on a tree stump, whittling a piece of wood into a fake Chris McLean Invincibility Statue with a pocket knife.
Dawn would be strolling through the forest and she'd walk by Scott, noticing him carving a fake immunity idol. "Since when did you have that pocket knife?"
"I bought it a few months ago." Scott answered her. "And before you ask, yes. I have indeed killed animals and have eaten them."
"I already sensed it in your aura." Dawn claimed. "And don't try to offend me by saying something like that. Humans eat meat. I think we're all very aware of that."
"Whatever." Scott scoffed as he continued to create the fake idol.
"Are you making another fake invincibility statue? Do you really believe it will work a second time?" Dawn questioned.
"No. I'm just doing something to pass the time. Plus, if anyone's stupid enough to fall for it then that'd also be pretty fun to see." Scott chuckled. "Now get lost!"
"I wasn't planning on staying long. But I would like to warn you, that if you become what you were back in our season, then it will end in the same way too." Dawn would then leave Scott alone.
The farm boy would go pale in the face, remembering what had happened at the end of season 4. For a few seconds he'd stay still completely frozen, before he grit his teeth in anger and threw the fake idol away.
"Stupid Aura-Reading-Asshole." Scott walked away with a scowl on his face.
After Scott had left, the camera panned over to where the fake idol had been thrown, but now it'd be gone.
Lightning would be repeatedly lifting a log with one hand as if it were a weight. "5! 6! 7! 8! Uhh-"
"9."
"Sha-thank you. 9… Wait." Lightning would drop the log and he'd turn around seeing Sky. "Oh. Hey there Sky."
"Hey Lightning. Since we're on the same team, I was wondering if we could train together." Sky requested.
"Train together? Now why would the Lightning agree to do that?" Lightning asked.
A smirk would appear on Sky's face as she quickly found the correct words. "Well, you see Lightning. There's a lot of new players here, and a lot of them seem to be pretty athletic. And I already know that I am a very athletic player, so if you truly want to see your competition maybe you should accept my training." Sky stated. "After all, you'll never know if you're still Number 1 if you're just living in the dark."
"Lightning's always Number 1! Okay Sky, I'll train with you!" Lightning pounded his fist into his hand. "Let's see what you got, short stuff!"
"Alright!" Sky copied Lightning's gesture, and she'd punch her fist into her hand. "Let's do this."
[Confessional Sky]
"With Priya gone, a new training partner is a must. And Lightning is really badass and cool!" Sky gushed. "Though I could deal without him calling me short."
[Confessionals End]
A montage would play of Lightning and Sky training together. Beginning with the two athletes doing push-ups. They'd finish doing 100 push-ups at the exact same time, prompting both of them to hop up to their feet, giving each other a competitive smirk.
The second part of the two's training had them both bench pressing on the weight bench near the dock from the previous challenge. Lightning would reach 100 before Sky did, but it didn't take Sky too long to finish hers. As Lightning kissed his biceps, Sky would divert his attention back to her as she walked away from the dock with Lightning following.
The next segment of the montage showed them both climbing one of the 800 foot poles from the previous challenge. This time Sky would make it to the top first, and Lightning would pout right as he had made it to the top. As Sky started to cheer, in a spur of the moment decision Lightning would tackle Sky off the pole, and after a few seconds the screen would shake, indicating that the two had crashed.
The final segment featured Lightning and Sky running up the 1000 foot hill, similarly to Sky and Priya yesterday only without backpacks full of rocks on their backs. The two of them would look at each other, grinning ear to ear, thinking that they have finally found someone who could truly rival them in skills. This however would distract them from where they were running, causing them to run right off the cliff, falling into the water.
Lightning would resurface, spitting water out of his mouth. "Sha-dang. We should probably not do that next time."
"Eh, I would've jumped off anyways." Sky shrugged.
"Attention Campers! Your next challenge will happen in 15 minutes. But before that, I would like to announce something." Chris began. "Tomorrow there will be something new added to the island. The Amusement Abode!"
"Sha-what the heck is that?"
"Now you may be saying 'what the heck is that?' out loud right now."
"No. Lightning said 'Sha-what the heck is that?' check your ears." Lightning said as he swam back to shore.
"Uhh Lightning, he can't hear you." Sky told him.
"Well, the Amusement Abode will be a place where the campers are allowed to relax. Maybe play some darts, or a game of poker. I called my therapist last night and she suggested that I add in something fun. So I decided to call this thing in." Chris explained. "However, that arrives tomorrow. And one camper will not be enjoying the fun of it tomorrow. Meet me near the forest in 15 minutes!"
All the campers would meet Chris to the area where he directed them to. "Welcome to your 3rd challenge! All 23 of you managed to make it. Unfortunately for Priya, she didn't manage to make it. As she was voted out yesterday."
"Yeah, we know. It was a terrible move." Justin stated. "Now what's today's challenge?"
"Hold on a sec. Where the heck is Anne Maria?" Chris questioned.
"Well we didn't see her last night since she was sleeping in the infirmary." Amy claimed.
"So maybe she's dead." Lauren smiled. "The first dead contestant on this show!" She'd begin laughing.
"I'm not dead!" Anne Maria's voice could be heard as she finally arrived.
"There she is." Courtney looked over in the direction. "Are you- oh my gosh!"
The camera cut to Anne Maria with a bandage over part of her face, obscuring her eye.
"Jeez. What happened?" Sammy asked in concern as she wore an eye patch.
"My face is swollen and it has turned purple!" Anne Maria glared at Scott the best she could with only one eye visible. "And that guy caused it!"
"Sorry. It's just the game." Scott said with no hints of sympathy in his voice.
"Well now that everyone is here. This will be where your challenge is taking place." Chris gestured over to three relatively clean buildings. All three of which had a specific team logo right above the door. "This challenge is going to be about science!"
"Yes! This will be a great way to showcase my mad-skills and knowledge!" Harold gushed.
"Each team must go inside one of these three structures here. Inside of them, is some science equipment. And what you need to do is make a drink in the science lab that will wake up a sleeping bear inside." Chris explains. "And the way that you make this super chemical, is by mixing four other liquids together. There will be some instructions on exactly what liquids you will need, but as for making them? You need to find that on your own. The winner will gain an advantage in part two of the challenge."
"And what's part two?" Sammy asked.
"It's what happens after part one."
"Gee, thanks." Sammy said sarcastically.
"Get in your science labs. And begin the challenge."
Inside the Nuclear Missiles lab, a bear would be sound asleep as it had earplugs in its ears to prevent any loud noises from waking him up. There would be four desks with your typical science equipment, and there were also multiple cabinets to each side of the interior.
"Okay, we've gotta wake up a bear without him getting mad." Sky observes. "This'll be fine. We've got Dawn here to pacify him if we need her to."
"Is this safe to drink?" Zee asked, holding up a bottle of poison. "Because it doesn't look very tasty."
"Zee that will kill you." Dave informed him.
"Wait, it will kill me if I drink it, or does it come alive?" Zee questioned, and Dave would facepalm. "No, serious question man."
"Have you never heard of poison?" Dave asks Zee in slight annoyance.
"Have you never heard of shutting up?" Sky interjected.
[Confessional Dave]
"I've been quiet for over half of the time I have been here."
[Confessionals End]
"Our best bet is to spit into groups of two." Axel states. "Harold, you take Zee."
"Why Zee?" Harold asks.
"Because you're smart and he isn't."
"You make a fair point." Harold would grab Zee by the arm and he dragged him to one of the four desks.
"I'll take Lightning. I'm strong enough to stop him from doing any real damage." Sky offered.
"Lightning does a lot of damage. Shorty is right to fear the Lightning!" Lightning boasted as he flexed his muscles.
"I'll be taking Bridgette then." Axel said.
"Oh, uhh. Okay." Bridgette smiled. "That's fine with me then."
[Confessional Bridgette]
"To tell you the truth, I was hoping to be in a duo with Dave. I wanna find out a bit of info on what happened between him and Sky." Bridgette speaks to the camera. "I'll see what I can do later though. Since Harold watched the season, I think talking to him should be pretty easy. And then I can get Dave and Sky's side of the story."
[Confessionals End]
"Then that leaves me with Dave." Dawn notices.
"I'll be praying for you." Harold says, and Dave would shoot a glare his way.
"Hey, what does this thing do?" Zee would pick up a small metal rod which was very clearly electrified at the tip.
"I don't recommend doing anything dumb with that." Harold advises him.
Zee wouldn't listen to Harold's suggestion, and he'd hit a jar full of jam. The glass jar would begin to shake as it'd start cracking.
"Uhh, glass doesn't usually conduct electricity." Dave points out.
"Hold on, I'll try doing something." Harold would put on gloves before grabbing the jar. "Okay, let's see." Right after Harold finished speaking, the glass would explode, covering Harold's face in jam and also dirtying his glasses.
Axel chuckled. "More like 'let's not see.' You need any help cleaning that up?"
"No, I've got it." Harold began reaching for something to wipe his face with, but due to the jam splatter on his glasses, he couldn't see. "Someone give me a napkin, before I accidentally grab someones boobies."
[Confessional Harold]
"It took everything I had, to not immediately go back on my word." Harold told the camera, before an awkward silence took place for a few moments. "What? Don't tell me you've never wanted to have an excuse to grab a lady's boobies."
[Confessional Bridgette]
She'd sigh with a smile. "Never change Harold… Or maybe do change a little, It'd probably be very beneficial to not be seen as a bit of a perv."
[Confessionals End]
"No worries dude, I got this." Zee picked up a napkin and began to wipe Harold's face, but he conveniently missed his glasses.
"... Did you just clean everything but my glasses?"
"Of course dude. Glasses are only on your face, they aren't apart of it. Sometimes my brain can think, yo." Zee would tap himself on the head to show that he's smart. Unfortunately for him he had the electrical metal rod in his hand, and it would shock him.
"Here." Dawn took a handkerchief out from her pocket and she would clean Harold's glasses.
"Thanks." Harold thanked her.
The Loaded Rifles lab would look the exact same, and it'd have the same animal asleep.
"So we've got to wake up a bear?" Justin noticed. "No problem. If it wakes up angry, then I can just charm it."
"Would that even work?" Scott queried.
"I've charmed sharks before. Have you?" Justin asked with a knowing grin.
"No, but I sure as hell angered one." Scott told Justin, giving him a glare.
"Here's the plan." Courtney began. "Damien, you seem smart. Do you know anything about science?"
"Yeah. I do." Damien nodded in confirmation.
"Good. You and I will be working together." Courtney stated. The other six of us will be splitting into two groups so that they can start one of the chemicals, and then later we can finish them."
"That sounds fine with me." Sammy smiled. "Can I be paired with Topher?"
"I don't see why you can't." Damien said. "Yo, Justin, Anne Maria, you two think you got this?"
"Sure. He seems like a fine guy." Anne Maria said as she was spraying her hair.
"I don't have a-" Justin would begin, but he'd start coughing from the hair spray fumes.
Courtney pointed at Lauren. "Scary Girl."
"I made a skull." Lauren said, holding up a skull with glowing red eyes.
"And that is why you're getting paired with… Uhh, Sammy and Topher." Courtney told her. "Which means Scott is with Anne Maria and Justin."
"Can I switch places with the creepo?" Anne Maria requests.
"No." Courtney would deny her. "Okay, everyone let's do this."
Suddenly a bunch of drill noises would fill the room, confusing the rest of the contestants.
"Uhh, where are those sounds coming from?" Damien asked. "And where did Scary Girl go?!"
The moment the drill sounds stopped, Lauren would appear right behind Damien with a giant Harley Quinn sized mallet. "I made a giant hammer!"
Damien turned around seeing Lauren with the mallet, and his face immediately filled with terror. "Oh, that's very cool. But it wasn't the objective of the challenge."
"I know."
"Sooo… Why did you make it?"
Lauren would show Damien exactly why she made it, when she swung right at him. Damien ran away screaming, running into a wall and going straight through it. Lauren would run after Damien laughing like a maniac.
[Confessional Lauren]
"Sorry. I just can't help it. Damien's screams are just so funny!" Lauren laughed. "I love being here with Damien!"
[Confessionals End]
"Okay guys. We're tasked with making these damn things chemicals, so that we can wake up a damn bear." Jo says, crossing her arms. "Now does anyone here know how the hell science works?"
"I do." Chase spoke up.
"I do not believe you." Eva said.
"Hey, I've had to tinker with science for videos hundreds of times. And it's only gone wrong 90 percent of times I've done it." Chase explained.
"You simply haven't a clue what you are doing." Max says. "I will be taking it from here!"
"Max, you're the one who lost us the last challenge." Chase pointed out. "And you lost it because of your terrible invention."
"You're the one who detonated the bomb!" Max argued.
"That was your plan anyways!" Chase shouted in his face. "It isn't my fault that you made it poorly!"
"Chase, Max, we have a challenge to win!" Brick told them. "And we need to win this advantage for the second part of the challenge."
"He's right." Duncan agreed.
"I am not losing another challenge! So get to workin' Chase." Jo ordered. "And Max, you need to shut the hell up."
"No, I do not." Max said. "You have no right to tell evil to shut up."
"If you keep yapping, I will show you evil!" Amy threatened him.
"How interesting… You can be my sidekick, if you truly want to be evil." Max offered.
"Get bent."
We cut to Damien still running away from Lauren who continued to hold up the giant mallet.
"This should not be allowed in this game!" Damien screamed.
"Hey Damien! Would you like to play whack-a-mole with me?" Lauren asked him.
"Am I the mole?" Damien questioned.
"Yeah."
"Then no!" Damien answered.
"Awww. Well that's too bad." Lauren would leap into the air and she'd hold up her mallet before crashing down, attempting to hit Damien.
"Oh no. This is it! Goodbye everything I ever knew!" Damien would get lucky as he ran right off the dock of shame, and into the water.
Lauren would crash into the ocean below, thankfully missing Damien.
[Confessional Lauren]
"I don't really remember what I was thinking. If I had hit Damien, then he'd be medically evacuated. And I don't really want that to happen." Lauren said to the camera with her signature wicked smile. "Thankfully the ocean exists. It saved Damien, and it's also a good place to hide dead bodies in. Ooh, I wonder how my neighbors are doing down there."
[Confessionals End]
Damien would poke his head out the water before looking around. "Is she gone? Yes! Finally she's gone!"
Lauren would rise up from the water as Damien continued to celebrate. "Finally! Finally! Thank you, good lord! Now I no longer need to worry about her scaring me."
"Words hurt you know."
Damien looked over his shoulder seeing Lauren. "Yeah? Well, so do hammers."
"My mallet unfortunately sank to the bottom of the sea." Lauren says sadly.
Damien wouldn't respond to Lauren's comment, and he would instead start swimming back onto shore hoping to get away from her. He would climb back up onto the dock, now soaking wet. The boy would take off his jacket and he'd begin to wring the water out of it.
Lauren would leap up onto the dock before taking Damien's jacket out of his hands. "Hey! What are you doing!"
The creepy girl would wrap Damien's jacket around his own neck, and she began choking him. "I love the sounds of choking." Lauren said before she dragged herself and Damien back down into the sea.
"Okay Zee, you tend to do a bunch of random things. And sometimes they work, other times they don't." Harold comments before looking at a beaker with some orangey green liquid in it. "And I have no idea what category this falls under. Because I don't even know what you just made."
"Calm down man. I've got this." Zee reassured him.
"Do you?"
Zee would pick up a cup full of green powder. "Now, I think it's fair to warn you that I have no idea what I'm doing. And if there's anything I've learned from competing in two Total Drama seasons. It's to not do something when I have no idea what I'm doing." Zee would then pour the cup of powder into the beaker, despite having no idea what he's doing.
The orangey green liquid would start foaming, eventually beginning to spill out the beaker.
"What is happening?" Harold asked.
"Magic, man. Magic." Zee said with a chill smile. "Either that or something really dangerous."
The beaker would then erupt, blowing a hole in the roof.
"I'm thinking it's something really dangerous." Bridgette commented, noticing the scene.
"Then get rid of it!" Dave would grab a metal ball, and he'd throw it at the beaker shattering it, and stopping the monstrosity that Zee made from doing anymore damage.
"I don't mean to be rude here, but why would you let him make that?" Dave questioned.
"Like you're one to question my methods here, Gosh!"
A small screen would pop out of the wall, and it'd turn on revealing Chris. "Did you just put a hole in the roof?"
"Uhh, yeah I did. It wasn't that nice of a roof though, so I'm sure you won't miss it." Zee states.
"You just made a chemical that erupted as if it was a volcano!" Chris said with an angry frown on his face, before it'd switch to a smile. "And it was awesome!"
"Sweet! That's dude!" Zee would high five the screen, causing it to start malfunctioning until it shut off completely.
Bridgette would chuckle at the sight, before she'd look over at Axel would just be dumping random chemicals into a beaker, some of which would be spilling out.
"Woah, umm. Maybe that isn't the best idea, Axel." Bridgette attempted to stop her.
"Don't tell me what to do!" Axel would get into Bridgette's face, staring at her for a few seconds before she went back to 'work'.
"I'm just saying that throwing everything in the glass probably isn't gonna work, and something will probably go wrong." Bridgette tried reasoning with the survivalist.
Axel would grab onto Bridgette's ponytail, and before the surfer could have any time to react, Axel removed the hair tie from Bridgette's hair and she subsequently threw it into the beaker.
"My hair tie!" Bridgette exclaimed as her long hair cascaded down her back. "What did you do that for?"
"Whoops, my bad." Axel sassily responded as she removed her own hair tie letting her ponytail unravel, before she put it in her pocket protecting it from the same fate as Bridgette's.
Back with the Rifles, Sammy would put three beakers full of the same chemicals on the desk, and she'd also bring a bottle of acid along with an empty beaker. "Okay, I've got everything we need in preparation, now we just gotta find out how to make a forth one of these things, and then mix them together with something else to create the chemical we need, and then mix that one with three other chemicals to make a drink that will wake up a bear." Sammy explained. "This is really complicated, isn't it Topher?" Sammy would look to the side of her, noticing that Topher wasn't there. "Uhh, Topher?"
Sammy would then hear an electrical shock sound, and she'd turn her head to where the source was.
"Alright everyone! Get ready to witness the Topher experience!" Topher said while holding a camera that he had ripped off the wall. "Today, Sammy and I are going to be amazing in science! Hope you all paid attention in science class, or else you won't understand anything, and will probably believe that I don't know what I'm doing!"
Sammy walked up to stand beside Topher, taking a good look at the camera he was holding. "Topher, that camera isn't even on. It's broken."
"Oh." Topher dropped the already broken camera into the bottle of acid. "Well, let's go ahead and attempt to get this done. How hard can it be?"
1 Minute Later
The entire desk would be on fire, causing the fire alarm to start blasting.
"I think we've made a mistake." Topher says.
"Wow, you might just be right." Sammy sarcastically agreed.
"Yeah, for the first time he's right!" Anne Maria remarked. "He's about to burn us down!"
[Confessional Courtney]
She'd groan in annoyance. "Why did Scary Girl have to chase away the only other person with sense around here?"
[Confessionals End]
"Move!" Justin shoved Anne Maria out the way so that he could grab the fire extinguisher. He would then use it to put out the fire.
"Thank you Justin." Sammy thanked him. "We uhh, we'll try to not let that happen again." She chuckled awkwardly.
"Yeah you better not let it happen again." Courtney told her.
With the Katanas, they'd already have one chemical done, and they'd be finishing up the second one.
"Okay, I don't know a lot about science, but don't we need water now?" Duncan asks.
"Yes, we do." Chase nodded.
"Here." Jo handed him a bottle of water. "I keep one on me at all times. Unless Chris takes it from me."
Chase would pour the water into a beaker, and the things already in it would turn the water purple. "Alright, now all we need is to just put those fish eyes."
"Why the hell is that a part of the recipe?" Amy questioned.
Chase shrugged. "I don't know. I'm not the one who invented this crap."
Duncan picked up the beaker before taking a fish eye out of a box, and then he dumped it in. The moment he dropped it in, he'd hear the sound of something sizzling. "Uhh, is it supposed to do that?" The delinquent would get his answer when the entire beaker would blow up in his face.
"Well look at that! Your science-brain failed us!" Jo scolded Chase.
"MWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Max cackled like a maniac. "Fools! You should really learn not to leave evil unguarded! Let this be your wake up call, to never underestimate just how evil I am!"
Eva would pick Max up by the back of his shirt. "Did everyone just get shorter?" Max questioned.
"No you idiot! Eva is about to kill you." Amy told him.
"Oh… Amy help me!" Max begged. "I'll let you be my sidekick!"
"Not interested."
"I'll let me be your sidekick then!" Max offered.
"Still not interested."
"... Eva, you can be my sidekick." Max told her.
Eva wouldn't give Max the answer he was hoping for, as she would slam him to the ground. "Let's start over again. And this time, Max won't tamper with it. I'll make sure about that." Eva said glaring down at Max.
On the Rifles side of things, Anne Maria, Justin, and Scott would all be working on one of the chemicals.
"Okay, so I grew up on a farm." Scott began. "And I have no idea how to do anything related to science. So I'd say we just throw everything at the wall to see what sticks."
"Probably not the greatest idea you've ever had. But it works for me." Justin states.
"As long as you ain't blinding me in one eye, I'll be perfectly fine." Anne Maria scoffed.
"Hey, you would've done the same to me." Scott argues. "Don't act like you're any better than I am."
"Can you two shut up? Your problems aren't really interesting." Justin told them.
"Neither is science." Scott claimed.
"You bring up a fantastic point." Anne Maria says before taking a can of hairspray out of her pocket. "Aight, let's see what we can do with this."
"Anne Maria, I don't think this is a good idea. Your hair spray isn't even remotely science." Scott warns her.
"Scott, you shouldn't have said that. Because now she's gonna want to do it more." Justin remarked.
Anne Maria would spray her hairspray into the beaker, and the liquid would turn from a green color, to a disgusting orange color.
"This can only end badly." Scott commented.
The beaker would shatter and immediately the fumes mixed with the chemicals would taint the air.
"Well, at least it didn't explode." Anne Maria said, unbothered by the fumes.
"I wish it did!" Scott coughed out.
Everyone would begin to choke as Anne Maria's terrible idea had proven to be a terrible idea.
"Everyone! Get out!" Courtney choked on her own words, as she ran over to the door before kicking it open.
All members of the Rifles except for Anne Maria ran out of the lab.
Topher took a deep breath of fresh air, relieved to not be trapped in the hazardous science lab anymore. "That better be the last time Anne Maria ever decides to do science."
"Well now what are we supposed to do? The air is probably poisonous." Scott claimed.
"We'll be fine. All we need to do is just win the next part of the challenge." Courtney affirmed. "Remember, we're not the only team that won't have the reward."
"You're right." Sammy agreed. "All we need to do is hope that the next part of this challenge is something we can win."
"Or hope it's something one of the other teams is really bad at." Justin adds.
"Why hasn't Anne Maria come out yet?" Topher asked.
Right after Topher had posed his question, a loud echoing explosion could be heard from inside the science lab, and smoke drifted outside the lab engulfing the once fresh air with a foul stench.
"God damnit, not again!" Scott complained.
"Anne Maria, get the hell out of the lab before you kill us all!" Courtney yelled.
"Alright! We've got one of them done!" Harold cheered.
Zee would be holding a beaker with a bright yellow liquid inside. He'd take a sniff of it, gagging at the smell. "Ugh! This smells worse than Ripper's midnight gas! Are you sure we need four of these? I think this one will do just fine."
"The goal of the challenge is to make four of them. I don't think it's wise to go against Chris's orders. Or else he won't give us the advantage, which would then put us at a disadvantage in the next part of the challenge." Harold explained.
"Woah. I never thought about that." Zee uttered, amazed at Harold being able to deducing skills. "You're shockingly pretty smart."
"Thank you." Harold would have a proud smile on his face, before his expression changed to one of confusion. "Wait. What do you mean 'shockingly'?"
"Well, you have a cheeseburger design on your shirt. That's pretty weird man. And you've got that chin hair, you seem to have a pink shirt underneath your blue one, and you have some pretty weird glasses." Zee lists off aspects of Harold's appearance.
Harold would look down at his shirt. "This isn't a burger, it's a planet."
"Sooo, it's a planet that looks like a burger? Gotcha." Zee said while giving a thumbs up, which only made Harold groan in annoyance.
Sensing Harold's anger, Bridgette would walk over to the two of them. "Harold, calm down. I don't think he meant any harm."
Harold would sigh. "Sorry."
"Hey dude it's fine man." Zee accepted his apology. "Everyone gets a bit angry yo. Like, one time I was driving without a drivers license, and I almost crashed into someone. He got pretty mad at me, it was kinda crazy."
Why would you drive without a drivers license? That can get you arrested." Bridgette points out.
"Oh, I know. But I was running low on soda, watermelon, bacon, and cereal." Zee justified.
"Uh, I thought you hate milk." Harold replied confused.
"I do." Zee confirmed.
"So, you just eat cereal without milk?" Harold guessed.
"People eat cereal with milk? Why would you do that?!" Zee exclaimed.
[Confessional Bridgette]
"And I thought Izzy was weird." Bridgette chuckled before shoving her hands into her pockets. "Funny how I just realized that this team is full of weirdos. Who will narrate their way through a challenge, or read auras, or say 'Sha' before every word… Or steal people's hair ties." Bridgette's face sunk as she ran her fingers through her hair. "I don't know if it's just me, but I've never really felt 'right' without my hair being tied into a ponytail. Luckily I have a spare hair tie in my suitcase."
[Confessionals End]
On Lightning and Sky's desk, there would be an empty beaker along with multiple other chemicals with nothing else.
"Alright! Let's get this done!" Lightning pounded his fist in his palm, hyped up with a smirk on his face. He'd then look at all the chemicals, realizing that he doesn't know what the heck he's doing. "Okay, so what the heck do we do?"
"I don't know a lot about science." Sky claimed. "Or really anything about science. I'm an olympian, not a scientist."
"Well, Lightning has seen science junk on TV shows before. So Lightning is just gonna copy that."
"I don't think science in TV shows are very accurate to real life." Sky informed him.
Lightning wouldn't listen to Sky's warning, and he would pour two chemicals into the empty beaker. The liquid would start bubbling and sizzling, as it quickly became unstable. The beaker would explode in Lightning's face, engulfing the area of where Sky and Lightning were working in smoke.
Dave looked over at the dust cloud and he'd open his mouth to speak, however he chose to not say anything and would instead turn back to his own desk and continue working.
"Sky, Lightning! Are you two alright?" Bridgette called out to them in concern.
Sky would cough as the dust cleared. "Please don't do that again Lightning."
"Hey, don't worry. Lightning learned his lesson."
Sky would look directly at Lightning with a shocked look. The jock would notice the gaze that the much shorter athlete would be giving him. "What? Did something happen to Lightning's face?"
"Does anyone here have a mirror?" Sky asks.
"Here." Harold walked over to the two of them, and handed Sky a mirror.
"Thanks." Sky would then point the mirror at Lightning. "See."
Much to Lightning's surprise, the chemical explosion had turned his hair back to its original color, before he had been struck by literal lightning 5 years ago.
"Sha-dang." Lightning uttered as he looked at his reflection. "Lightning forgot how he looked with his original hair color… And he looks so much worse!"
"You really do." Harold agreed.
"Give me those chemicals!" Lightning picked up two chemicals.
"Lightning wait!" Sky reached over to grab the chemicals from Lightning, but it was already too late.
Lightning caused another explosion by mixing the two chemicals together, causing the majority of the others to facepalm.
The dust settled and Lightning would be back to his white hair. "Sha-bam! Lightning is back with his White-Lightning hair! Sha-White-Lightning!"
"Uhh, Lightning." Harold gets his attention. "Look at the damage that you caused?"
"Uhh, he didn't cause any damage." Sky pointed out.
"Sky, just look in the mirror." Harold told her.
Sky's morphed into one of shock as she realized what had probably happened. And her theory was proven correct as she looked into the mirror, seeing that her hair had also been turned white.
"Uhh, sha-oops. Lightning didn't mean to do that." The jock apologized. "Here, Lightning will fix it!"
"No, no. It's fine. I'll just dye it back." Sky said, not wanting another explosion to happen.
"It seems like y'all are in need of some help." Harold picked up an empty beaker. "Here, allow me to give you some assistance in making what we are all meant to make."
"Can you help us after that?" Bridgette requests. "I don't think either me or Axel are able to make whatever we're supposed to make."
"Hey, don't worry I got this." Axel says, holding up a struggling squirrel.
"What are you doing to that poor squirrel?" Dawn asked.
"I'm gonna use it for this science thing." Axel stated.
"Axel, don't you dare drop that squirrel into that bottle of acid!" Dawn snapped.
Axel would ignore Dawn's plea, and she'd drop the squirrel into the acid.
"Why did you do that? The squirrel isn't a part of this challenge!" Bridgette scolded her.
Axel shrugged. "Hey, it was worth a shot."
Dawn would be standing there angry, glaring at Axel with her fist clenched. "How could you do such a thing for no reason!"
"Dawn," Dave would put a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down. Keep your composure so that we can complete this challenge."
The moonchild would sigh before turning back over to the desk. "Right."
"And done!" Chase announced as he put down the fourth and final beaker.
"Good! Now we just have to mix all four of them together right?" Brick questioned.
"Yes, Brick." Amy would mix two of them together.
Jo then proceeded to mix the other two together, before Duncan finished it by mixing the two that were just made. The end result would be a pure white chemical.
"Are we sure this is science, or is it just a bodily function?" Duncan asked, but everyone would ignore him.
"Finally we've got this thing done." Eva remarked. "Now let's feed it to the bear, and then if it gets angry then I'll just beat it up."
"I'm impressed with you guys." Max spoke up, and everyone would simultaneously roll their eyes. "You managed to create an elixir so strong that it can wake up the animal of evil!"
"Hey Brick, can you shove your boot in his mouth?" Jo requested.
"But, the only person that should get to feed the animal of evil," Max picked up the chemical. "Is the master of evil!"
"Max, give me that damn thing." Amy ordered.
"Now! Allow me, Max, to demonstrate how evil feeds evil!" Max would throw the beaker, aiming at the bear's mouth. Unfortunately it would only collide with the ground, and the beaker would shatter making the liquid spill on the floor.
Everyone slowly turned their heads to Max in either disappointment or anger.
"Uhh." Max uttered awkwardly. "In my defense, I don't have one."
Jo would immediately lift Max by the collar of his shirt before slamming him onto the desk. "I WILL KILL YOU!"
The camera cut to the rest of the team as Jo would beat up Max, while cursing up a storm, with the audio having to be censored.
"Uhh, should we help him?" Brick asked.
"I'm about ready to join Jo in beating him up!" Duncan claimed.
"This is no way to treat an evil master!" CRUNCH. "MY EVIL KIWI'S!" Max yelled in pain before he'd be thrown by Jo, flying right past the other five standing there watching the chaos unfold.
Max would hit the wall and the rest of them either wince in sympathy or smirk in delight of the evil-wannabes' pain.
"And that's the fourth." Harold would put the final beaker on the desk.
"Good, now all we gotta do is mix them." Bridgette commented. "Just keep Lightning away from them."
Harold mixed all four of them together, creating the pure white chemical. "Okay then, let's feed it to the bear."
"Here, I'll do it." Dawn took the beaker and she'd walk over to the bear, before pouring the drink down its throat as it was snoring.
The bear would gag as it awoke, letting out at angry roar after he noticed that the campers had woke him up.
"Dawn, now's the time to stop him!" Bridgette says in panic.
The bear would raise its arm, ready to attack Dawn. However the moonchild would put a hand on the bear. "Your aura is a deep shade of red. But you don't have to be so angry. We are not here to hurt you, only to wake you from your deep slumber. Because such a beautiful creature such as yourself belongs in the forest, not a laboratory."
The bear would calm down from Dawn's words, and it would smile.
[Confessional Axel]
"Personally I would've just voted to put the bear in a full body cast." Axel shrugged. "But this was probably easier."
[Confessionals End]
"And the Nuclear Missiles win!" Chris announced from outside the science lab. "Please, get the bear out of here!"
After Dawn brought the bear back into the forest, the campers would all be lined up outside a much bigger science lab. Chris would be standing there looking at his watch, seemingly waiting for something.
"What the hell are we waiting for?" Jo questioned.
"We're waiting for Chef to find Scary Girl and Damien." Chris told them.
Dave looks over at the Loaded Rifles. "How did you guys lose the two?"
"Scary Girl chased Damien down with a mallet." Sammy answered.
"Yep, that sounds like her." Axel states.
Chef would arrive back, carrying Lauren and Damien by the back of their shirts, with Lauren holding Damien's jacket. "I'm back with these idiots."
"I'm surprised you weren't crushed by that big mallet." Scott said.
"Luckily I wasn't." Damien says. "Now give me back my jacket, Scary Girl."
Lauren would toss Damien his jacket back. "I hope that when you wear it from now on, you will remember the time I strangled you!"
"Anyways, welcome to the second part of the challenge." Chris began. "The winners of the previous challenge were the Nuclear Missiles. Meaning they get the advantage."
"We know. Just explain the challenge." Anne Maria demanded.
"This final part of the challenge is simple. Inside this science lab, there are a bunch of targets. And I mean a bunch of targets." Chris started his explanation. "And the goal of this challenge is to destroy them with science."
"How?" Justin asked.
"You will each be given a ray gun. Don't worry, they aren't lethal. To humans." Chris demonstrated by aiming one at Lauren, and firing it. Lauren however would just laugh as she got electrocuted by the laser beam. "See? Not deadly. Just really painful."
"Again! Again!" Lauren requested.
"No. These ray guns require chemicals as ammo. Whichever chemical you use, the laser will change." Chris would load in a purple chemical and then he would fire the gun at Scott, shooting out 5 smaller lasers. All five of them hit Scott, and he would collapse after being shocked. "A target should only take 3 shots before it's destroyed. If you shoot down a target, then it's worth a point. By the time the challenge ends, then whichever team has the most points wins. And no, shooting players does not earn you points. You however can do that if you want to."
"Well what's our advantage?" Dave asks.
"Inside the science lab is a door." Chris informs them.
"We know genius, we're looking at it." Chase pointed at the front door.
"I was talking about a different door, Chase. One that is in the exact opposite direction of the front door. It's called the McLean Marked Maze. You'll know it, because there is a sign right above the door leading to the maze." Chris explained. "Inside the maze are even more targets, though a lot less than there are outside the maze. However, every target in the maze may only be destroyed by members of the team that won the first part of the challenge. So congratulations Nuclear Missiles, you've earned yourself some free points."
"Yes! We've got this challenge in the bag!" Lightning cheered.
"Everyone, get in the lab!" Chris opens the door. "The challenge will start whenever I close the front door."
All of the campers would go into the lab, and inside there'd be multiple desks pressed up against the walls with chemicals on top of them. Also leaning against the wall would be a shelf with 23 already loaded ray guns on it. Targets would be scattered all over the place, on the ceiling, on the walls, some of them were on the floor, and even on statues that were put there.
Bridgette picked up a gun. "Our best bet would be to send in the less athletic players in the maze. So I'll be going in there."
"No, Dave should go in. He isn't the greatest at challenges. Not that that's a surprise." Sky mentioned.
"Well if that's the case, then both of us will go into the maze." Bridgette claimed.
"It beats getting shocked." Dave stated. "So, I think this would be for the best."
[Confessional Sky]
"Look, I am trying to not let myself continuously insult Dave. Normally, I'd be able to ignore my past, but people just keep mentioning it!" Sky said in anger. "People online, people I meet on the streets, even my own friends! And my now ex boyfriend Keith will never stop talking about that situation every time he texts me on my birthday. I shouldn't care about this, I know I shouldn't. But him being here just… It just angers me."
[Confessionals End]
"And the challenge starts… Now!" Chris slammed the door shut.
Everyone would begin firing their ray guns, either at the other players or at the targets, as Bridgette and Dave headed for the McLean Marked Maze.
One of the targets would break, and outside the lab a scoreboard would show the Bloody Katanas earning one point.
"And the Bloody Katanas are up by a point." Chris declared.
Back inside the lab, the targets would be getting destroyed quickly, as the teams all gained points.
Lightning would break a target earning his team a point, but then he ran out of ammo. "Gotta refuel!" The jock ran over to the chemicals, seeing red, purple, blue, and green chemicals. "Green's gotta mean good right? They both start with a G!" He would load the ammo in and then he'd pull the trigger. Instead of the regular one laser, the ray gun would now be rapid firing. "Oh hell yeah!" Lightning would aim it at a target, but it'd take longer to break, showing that the lasers were weaker than the normal ones.
"Sha-damnit! Lightning chose a bad one!"
Sky ran over to reload her ray gun, and she chose the blue chemicals. Sky would pull the trigger, and it wouldn't immediately fire. "The heck?" The gun would then go off, firing a much larger laser that destroyed a target with one hit. "Oh, I see. With this one you need to charge it. And I have an idea."
Sky ran over to Lightning. "Lightning! I have an idea."
"Does it concern the Lightning?"
"Yeah, it does. Lift me onto your shoulders." Sky requested.
"Now why would Lightning do that?"
"Because I think I've found a way that we can win."
"Well, you don't need to tell Lightning twice!" Lightning would lift Sky onto his shoulders.
Sky would aim her ray gun and she'd fire it. The large shot would break not just one, but two targets due to Sky now having an easier time aiming.
"Now with the height needed, hitting these things will be easy. I just need you to make sure I don't get hit." Sky told him. "Can I trust you to do that?"
"You can count on Lightning!"
Sky would continue shooting down targets, racking up points for the Missiles. Eventually the other two teams realized what was happening.
"Everyone! Get them!" Courtney pointed towards Sky and Lightning. She'd then take aim, but Lightning would immediately pelt her with lasers.
"No one can defeat the Lightning!" Lightning would boast as he rapidly fired at the other teams.
Sky kept shooting, racking up many points for her team as she ducked the few shots coming her way.
"Brick, Duncan, fire at Lightning!" Jo ordered, and the two of them would oblige.
As Brick and Duncan were distracting Lightning, Jo aimed at Sky and fired.
Sky would jump off of Lightning's shoulders before firing at Jo. Instead of getting zapped, Jo got knocked off her feet from the shot.
"Wow. That thing is powerful." Duncan noticed.
Sky would swap guns with Lightning, and she'd rush at the other two teams and she'd begin firing. "Axel, Lightning, Harold, back me up!"
"You got it!" Axel began defending Sky as the other teams would go on the attack.
Sky leaped over two shots from Duncan and Brick, and she'd pelt Duncan with lasers, before doing the same to Brick.
Anne Maria would load in the purple chemicals. "You ain't gettin' past this one!" She would shoot at Sky, and multiple smaller lasers would be heading straight for her.
The athlete would see this coming and she'd flip over them. The lasers would then hit Justin, shocking him.
"OW! Watch it!" Justin yelled.
"That wasn't even on purpose." Anne Maria told him.
"Look, I know you're half blind, but you need to aim better." Justin claimed.
"Well if that's the case." Anne Maria aimed at Justin. "I know exactly who to test this out on!" She'd then shoot Justin again, making Justin collapse on the ground. "Ha! Take that, hottie-schmottie."
After Anne Maria was done antagonizing Justin, she'd be shot by Harold and Axel both. "YEOW! Can't ya see I'm doing something here?"
"Oh, we can. We just don't care." Axel shot at Anne Maria again, but the laser would ricochet off her hair. "Oh crap." Axel would then be hit by her own laser.
"Well that was dumb." Anne Maria smirked.
"And so are you!" Lightning shot Anne Maria in the back with the charged laser, knocking her down.
"Ha! You've been struck by Lightning! You should really pay more-"
"Attention to every non-evil player! In other words, all of you." Max began. "You've all had your fun playing laser tag, without the tag. But it is time that I play my game. Live! Or! Die! The rules are simple. You all will either live." Max holds up a ray gun. "Or you will die! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
[Confessional Amy]
"Does he ever stop doing that?"
[Confessional Max]
"These fools do not know what they're dealing with! Now that my glowing weak point has already been crushed, I have no weaknesses anymore!" Max grunts in pain as he clutches his still sore kiwis.
[Confessionals End]
"Now who wants to die first?" Max questioned. "Actually, don't answer that. Because I will choose. Yes! Your fate is in my hands! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"
Everyone would immediately aim all of their guns at Max.
"You think that scares me? Teammates! Protect your evil leader!"
All of Max's teammates would aim their guns at him.
"Nevermind, I'm hosed." Max said before everyone would start firing at him.
Inside the McLean Marked Maze, the duo of Dave and Bridgette would have cleared out around half of the targets in the maze.
The two had stayed in silence for a while, due to Dave not wanting to potentially make another enemy, and Bridgette wanting to wait before suddenly asking Dave about his season.
After a few minutes of quietness, Bridgette believed it was the correct time to spark a conversation. "Hey, Dave. I know it's none of my business, but if you don't mind. I'd like to hear the reason why Sky's mad at you."
"Why? So you can vote me out along with her?" Dave asked spitefully.
"No. It's because the way Sky has been treating you is unfair. Well, to me it is." Bridgette replied. "If it is truly something wrong that you did, then I want to at least know what it was."
"Why didn't you just ask Sky?" Dave questioned. "Or even just someone who watched the season."
"Well, I was going to talk with Harold first. But since I saw the opportunity to speak with you first, I decided to take it." Bridgette elucidates. "I'm not here to judge you for anything Dave. I'm here to help. So, if you could take a moment to explain to me what happened then I'd appreciate that."
Dave's expression softened, as he eased off. "Okay, I can do that. It'll probably be better for me if I talk this out with someone anyways."
"I'm all ears."
"Back on Total Drama Pahkitew Island, me and Sky were placed on the same team. And because I viewed Sky as one of the more tolerable ones I caught feelings for her pretty quickly. I'm 100 percent sure that she was aware of them and probably felt the same way, but to this day I still don't know why she denied them. Eventually I just went with the option of her not even being attracted to me, and just said that she was." Dave told the surfer. "To call myself a loser would be an understatement. And it just got worse after she swapped teams. Soon rejection turned to depression, and later it turned into insanity. Once the merge arrived I tried getting Sky to notice me once more by performing well in challenges. Or at least trying to. But after that she still rejected me, and I voted myself off in shame."
"That sounds rough." Bridgette said.
"Just wait till you hear what happened during the finale when we met back up. There were, um, several issues when I was selected as Sky's helper for the challenge. However we managed to make amends, kinda. And then Chris decided then was the time to ruin it, when he aired her audition tape." Dave continued. "In Sky's audition tape she mentioned how she had a boyfriend at home, and I lost it. I became bitter and angry at her for betraying me and using me, so then I did everything I could to make sure that Sky didn't win. Chris made me a 'hinderer' during the final part of the final challenge, where I was able to control the obstacles on the mechanical island. Don't ask about that island, it's a story for another day. Chris offered me the 1 million dollars if I made sure that Sky or Shawn didn't win, and my goal with the money was to light it on fire in front of Sky. Though I suppose it'd be hard to tell, given how my attempts to prevent her from winning could definitely be described as attempted murder. And that's basically what happened."
"Yeesh. Sounds like a total mess." Bridgette commented. "Well thanks for telling me this."
"Oh believe me, I needed this more than you." Dave told her.
"Well, I'm happy I could help out." Bridgette gave him a warm smile. "Now, we should probably continue breaking these targets."
"Yeah, agreed." Dave nodded. "Wouldn't want to lose, and our team voted us off for not being able to do our job."
Just then, a speaker from inside the maze would turn on, and Chris would begin speaking. "Hey there Bridgette and Dave. I have just realized that the traps have not been turned on."
"Uhh, traps?" Dave repeats.
"Yeah, traps. Just give me a second." A click could be heard from the speakers as Chris activated the traps. "Alright there we go."
"This is going to be a nightmare isn't it?" As Bridgette would begin walking, a barrel gets shot from a wall.
"You always wanted to catch a barrel, didn't you Bridgette?" Chris laughed.
"Run!" Dave screamed in horror as he and Bridgette ran away.
A montage of the two running into traps would begin, with Chris's quips being added at the end.
The first trap that they ran into was a tripwire, that caused a few arrows to fire at them. Dave and Bridgette would run away from the soaring projectiles, but they'd run into a snare trap hanging them both from the ceiling.
"You guys should be more snare-ful." Chris's snarky laugh would echo throughout the maze as he spoke from the speakers.
The second clip featured them noticing a very obvious pit trap. Dave would get a running head start before he leaped over the trap, only to find out that there was a pit trap ahead of the false one.
"Try staying out of those pits from now on. Or else you'll be in a hole lotta trouble." Chris jested.
The third scene had Bridgette and Dave finding a treasure chest sitting on the floor. Bridgette walked over to it before opening it up, and she would be met with chemicals exploding in her face.
"Even I didn't think you'd be dumb enough to fall for that." Chris quipped.
The final one saw the duo both noticing a wall with a bunch of vines on it. Dave grimaced noticing the thorns on the vines, and Bridgette grabbed onto them her face contorting in pain as the vines would pierce her hand. Dave followed suit, cringing as he grabbed onto the plants, but nevertheless he began scaling the wall along with Bridgette. After around 3 minutes they reached the top to find… Nothing. The two of them would growl in anger at Chris's cruel trap.
"That one will be a nightmare for our medics."
The montage ended and the next scene would see Bridgette shooting down the last target inside the maze. "Okay, I think we're done here."
"Thank god. I'm ready to get out of this place!" Dave claimed.
"I am too." Bridgette agreed.
"Congratulations. You have destroyed every target inside the McLean Marked Maze." Chris said through the speaker as a rumbling could be heard from inside the maze. "To make life easier for you, I will be reshaping the maze so that you may find your way out instantly. And so you may also find your reward for destroying every target."
"We get a reward for that? I'm actually kinda surprised." Bridgette commented.
One of the walls would slide sideways, opening up a small area with a desk that had white and black chemicals, as well as a cannon sitting next to it.
"Is that a cannon?" Dave asked.
"Yes Dave." Chris answered. "It is in fact a cannon. And as you may also notice, there are two new chemicals. Both of which are for the cannon. The white one is what you would expect a cannon to do. It hits really hard. The black one is a bomb!"
"You are giving us bombs? What does that have to do with science?" Bridgette questioned.
"Last time I checked I'm pretty sure explosives have a lot of science involved in them, but what do I know? Just take your rewards and blow up some stuff." Chris's voice would cut off.
"Well it's not like we're gonna be shooting anyone with it. We're breaking targets, not bones." Dave points out. "How bad could it be out there?"
It would prove to be very bad outside the McLean Marked Maze, as all three teams would be at war.
Sammy and Topher would both be firing at Sky, but the Olympian would dodge every shot fired at her with grace, as Lightning looks on amazed.
[Confessional Lightning]
"Sha-damn! Shorty is sha-good!" Lightning smirked. "But Lightning ain't gonna be out done! He's gonna show everyone why he's really the best on the team!"
[Confessionals End]
Topher attempted to shoot again, but he'd be out of ammo. "Crap!" The arrogant man would be shot with a charged laser, by Lightning.
Sammy would stop firing and she'd move out the way of a laser headed at her. The nice twin would help Topher to his feet, dragging him behind a statue.
"Okay, we need to come up with a way to beat them. Sky's too powerful, and her team also has the maze advantage!" Sammy stated. "And I don't think we can exactly overpower the Katana's in this challenge either. So since it doesn't seem like we're gonna be able to calm these guys down, we need to find a way to win or else we're gonna have to be sending someone home."
"Sammy, my brain wasn't made for strategy, it was made to know what's hot and what isn't." Topher told her.
"Wait… That's it!" Sammy snaps her fingers as she realizes something. "Damien is smart and he knows science, maybe he can figure out something to do!"
"Good idea."
"You wanna know what else is a good idea?" The camera panned over towards Duncan who was aiming his ray gun at them. "This." He fired the purple spread lasers at the two of them.
Bridgette and Dave would both come back with the black and white chemicals as well as the cannon.
"Attention contestants!" Chris said from the speakers. "Bridgette and Dave have brought the cannon into the mix, as well as some new ammo for the cannon. The white chemicals are the normal ammo, meanwhile the black chemicals are bombs."
"Uhh, bombs?" Anne Maria repeated. "Ain't those a little dangerous."
"Let's find out!" Axel said after she loaded the cannon. The survivalist would fire at Anne Maria, and the electric bomb would blow up in Anne Maria's face temporarily paralyzing her.
"I can't freaking move." Anne Maria would then collapse to the ground. "Oh never mind, now I can." She'd then be shot by the bomb again.
"We're in danger guys! We need to get that cannon away from them!" Brick declared.
"Here I got this. I have a little trick I learned from one of my bros!" Chase said before picking up Amy.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Amy exclaimed.
Chase would charge right at the cannon planning on using Amy as a human shield. His plan however wouldn't work, and the bomb's blast radius would hit both of them.
"Okay… Didn't think that'd happen." Chase groaned out.
"I blame you for this!" Amy yelled.
"Paralyzer bombs hm? These sound very evil." Max thought. "I could use them for my evil plans!"
"What are you?" Eva asked.
"To explain what I am, we will have to go back to when I was born." Max began. "I was born in a cloning machine!"
Eva's expression turned to one of confusion after Max's ludicrous statement. "What?"
"I was created when scientists took the blood from the most evil people in the world! And also that one german guy who I can't mention on television!" Max kept spewing bullshit. "My father. Mr. Evil! He was the one who raised this evil genius! He walked so that I could run. So now I, Mr. Super Evil, will one day rule the world!"
"If you say one more thing about evil, I will do something evil to you." Eva threatened him.
"You are asking me to stop talking about evil? I will have you know Evil- I mean Eva. I am-"
Eva had enough of Max's nonsense, visually showing that by grabbing Max before throwing him at a target, breaking it to pieces.
"Hey Eva!" Harold called out to her holding a pair of nunchucks in his hands. "Take a look at the man who's going to defeat you!"
Eva's eyes traveled across the lab. "I don't see him."
"I was referring to myself." Harold would begin intimidatingly swinging his nunchucks in front, beside, and around his face. As he tried looking threatening though, he would accidentally hit himself in the head with the weapon.
The gym rat would still be standing there seemingly very unimpressed with the geeks mad-skills. "Well that was pathetic."
A bomb would be launched Eva's way and she would catch it before throwing it at Courtney.
The CIT would collapse to the ground after being hit by the bomb. "This really freaking sucks right now."
"Well Courtney is compromised, so we need to find a way to get rid of that cannon." Justin said. "Damien, do you have any ideas?"
"None that will stop the cannon." Damien replied.
Justin would begin thinking about what they could do. "Well a human shield didn't work. Maybe a metal shield will?"
"Where will we even get that?" Damien queried.
Justin turned his head over to Anne Maria. "I'm gonna need to borrow you for a moment."
"You ain't doing anything!" Anne Maria claimed.
Justin would retort by aiming his ray gun at Anne Maria before firing at her. Justin would take advantage of Anne Maria being stunned from the electricity, by picking her up and then rushing at the cannon. Axel would fire, but Justin would use Anne Maria as a battering ram, launching the bomb right back at Axel making her collapse from the paralyzation the volts gave her.
"Wow. I'm surprised that Hot-Head actually did it." Jo said, a little impressed. "Brick, go get the cannon!"
"Sir, yes sir!" Brick jogged over to the cannon, before being shot by Lightning.
"You should've known that was gonna happen." Duncan said, shaking his head. "Guy's about as useful as a screen door on a submarine."
Zee would load the cannon with the white chemicals. "Alright let's fire at some things!"
Damien would pull Lauren aside. "Look, I don't really like you that much. But I've got a plan. Can I trust you?"
Lauren nodded eagerly waiting to hear Damien's idea.
"Okay, we need to get the cannon. But not before I can get this plan prepared, I'll tell you when to take the cannon when you need to. Okay?"
"But what if I want the cannon now?" Lauren asked.
"Then just don't let your urges control you. How difficult is it to not hurt people?" Damien questioned.
"Seeing people in pain gets me worked up!" Lauren said with a creepy smile.
"I did not need to know that."
[Confessional Lauren]
She would be shaking and shuddering with a wicked smile on her face as her eye twitches. "I h-h-h-have to stop m-m-myself from firing that c-c-cannon instantly! I-I-I don't know if I can do it! I just… I just… I JUST LOVE SEEING PEOPLE IN PAIN! Especially Damien. But unfortunately I can't hear his screams this time. Oh what I would give just to have one night alone with him, so I could hear him scream all night long."
[Confessionals End]
The scoreboard would display the scores of all three teams. The Nuclear Missiles would have 98 points. The Bloody Katanas would have 52 points. Meanwhile the Loaded Rifles would have 29 points.
"Out of the 300 targets inside the lab, and the 40 inside the maze, 179 in total have been destroyed. And the Nuclear Missiles are in the lead!" Chris announced. "161 targets still remain, so the Bloody Katanas or the Loaded Rifles can make a comeback."
Sky and Lightning would destroy three more targets earning the Missiles 102 points. "Sha-bam! We've got this in the bag!" Lightning cheered.
Suddenly they'd both be blasted out of the lab by the cannon.
"Boom! Bye bye!" Zee waved to them, after he had blasted them out.
"Why would you do that?!" Dave shouted at him.
"Because they were a threat. Duh." Zee responded.
"You just shot out two members of our team." Dawn told him calmly.
"Oh crap. Want me to go find them, and get them back here or something?" After asking his question, Zee would be punched away from the cannon by Duncan. "This cannon is ours now!" Duncan fires it at Harold, who had only just recovered. "Who else wants some?"
Justin charged at Duncan with Anne Maria in hand. The delinquent would fire the cannon, and unlike the bombs, the normal ammo would not be deflected by Anne Maria's hair, and instead both Anne Maria and Justin were launched out of the lab.
"Okay, Brick you take the cannon. We need Duncan on fist fighting duty!" Jo ordered.
"You got it!" Brick nodded.
"Oh hell no!" Max reappeared.
"WHY! Why do you keep doing this?" Duncan complained.
"Because idiots! I…" The rest of them all groaned in annoyance as they waited for Max to finish his sentence. "... Am evil!"
"Serious question here. Do you think of evil in your sleep?" Sammy asked.
"Yes."
"He's a liar." Dawn claimed. "Whenever he goes to sleep, he constantly thinks of how inferior he is to the real villains of Total Drama. He wishes he could be like them, and not just someone who nobody takes seriously. Maybe people would actually take you seriously if your inspiration for being 'evil' wasn't just your love for comic book villains."
"I really don't like you." Max deadpans.
"You only say that to me specifically because you are ashamed of being a big help to your local park in your neighborhood." Dawn says as she continues to read Max's aura. "You help water the plants, you help feed the birds, and you're even a known babysitter."
Everyone would laugh as Max started to become flustered, his left eye twitching in frustration.
"Looks like Kim-Jong-Max isn't as evil as he claims to be, huh?" Jo snickered.
"Do you want to see evil!" Max aimed the cannon. "This is just how evil I am!"
Max would fire the cannon, blasting Eva, Jo, and Duncan all out of the lab.
"Take that you stupid team! I don't need you anyways!" Max laughed.
"You just went against the cadet code!" Brick lifted Max by the collar of his shirt, his face uncharacteristically filled with anger. "This is a line we do not cross! You are not a good teammate! And you aren't evil, you're just an idiot! I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD!" Brick yelled in the terrified man's face, saliva being spat onto Max as he shivers in fear from Brick's sudden rage.
In Brick's furry, Lauren would be able to steal the cannon right from the Katanas, and she'd aim it in a direction of multiple desks.
Damien would have pushed multiple desks of chemicals next to each other in preparation. Everyone else noticed and the members of the missiles would charge in attempting to stop whatever Damien was about to do. The man would grab the beakers with the black chemicals and he'd throw them at the desk. "Fire!"
Lauren would fire the cannon, and all the chemicals would explode. The air shattered with a deafening boom, shockwaves being felt by the rest of the campers as a huge dust cloud would fill the area. The smell of smoke hung heavy in the air, as complete silence would follow the intense explosion.
After only a few seconds which felt like minutes for everyone else, a crackling sound could be heard amidst the smoke and a bright orange glow can be seen enlarging.
"Uhh, is that what I think it is?" Scott asks, his ears still ringing from the sound of the explosion.
As the dust cleared it was revealed that a fire had in fact started from the powerful explosion.
"Damien, what the hell did you do?!" Topher panicked.
"I recommend we leave!" Courtney began to rush out the building, breaking the door down so that they all could escape.
Everyone would start running out the burning science lab, however Lauren would just be standing there with a smile on her face.
Noticing that the freaky woman wasn't going to move, Brick dragged her out of the doomed lab before kicking the door shut.
In due time, the science lab would be completely burned down, chemicals leaking into the grass outside the once clean building.
Chef would put out the roaring fire with a hose, giving all the campers a view of the damage that they caused, as the ash filled flames disappeared.
"Wow." Chris uttered in disbelief.
"Uhh, we're sorry about that." Sammy apologized. "I don't think Damien meant to burn it down."
"Hey, no need to apologize… That was awesome!" Chris beamed.
Axel rolled her eyes. "Of course."
The camera cut to all the campers lined up facing the score boards after the ones who were originally launched away had walked back.
"Okay, now we will calculate the scores! First of all, since Damien burnt down the science lab, then every target that was burnt down with it will be added to the total of the Loaded Rifles." Chris declared.
"How the heck is that fair?" Jo complained.
"Hey, he destroyed the targets didn't he? I'd say it's fair game." Chris states. "The score that the Loaded Rifles got is…"
The scoreboard lit up and it showed a score of 142, making all the Loaded Rifles cheer.
"The Rifles have an extremely high score. One that'll certainly be tough to beat." Chris says.
"You mean impossible." Duncan grimaced.
"Next up! The Bloody Katanas!"
The scoreboard lit up and it showed a score of 90.
"Okay, it isn't awful." Chase said. "Let's just hope that the Missiles sucked way more."
"Let's find out right now. The Nuclear Missiles score is…"
The scoreboard lights up and it shows…

112.
The Missiles all cheer, as the Katanas look at the scoreboard either in disgust, anger, or annoyance.
"Nuclear Missiles, you've come in second place." Chris tells them.
"Well at least it isn't last place." Dawn says relieved.
"Loaded Rifles, you are our winners. And because of that, you guys have won the reward." Chris claimed. "Since you are all 21, you are now the legal drinking age."
"Wait, so that means." Courtney trailed off in realization.
"Yes, Courtney. We are giving you all 10 boxes of alcohol!" Chris announced. "If you so wish, you are allowed to share it with the other teams, but otherwise it's all yours."
"Hey, I could use a drink after today." Scott said. "So this reward came at a perfect time."
"As for the Bloody Katanas." Chris turned to them. "I will be seeing you guys at the elimination ceremony."
All members of the Katanas turned their heads to Max, glaring at him.
"You. Are. Finished!" Amy promised.
As night came, so did the elimination ceremony. The now seven members of the Katanas were at their second elimination ceremony, eyeing the campfire.
Smoke could still be smelt in the air, from both the campfire, and from the flames that Damien had caused earlier.
"Second time in a row huh?" Chris stood behind the oil barrel, where a tray with 6 marshmallows sat. "There are three teams in this season, and the first two losers will be ones from yours."
"Yeah, yeah, we get it. Max cost us two challenges in a row. We all made a mistake not voting him out." Chase said impatiently.
"I didn't cost you anything." Max stated with his arms crossed.
"Listen here Max. You attacked your own team, and you're the reason why we didn't win the first half of the challenge." Brick told him. "Whatever happens tonight, you've only got yourself to blame."
"Looks like there's tension. Let's send this tension packing along with the next camper shall we? Please, go and cast your votes. Duncan, you're up first."
[Voting Confessional Duncan]
"My vote goes to Max. He screwed up big time, and now there's no attention hog to save him. It's bye-bye now!"
[Voting Confessional Chase]
"If these guys have a brain, they'll for sure vote off Max this time."
[Confessionals End]
Eva returned from the outhouse after being the last one to vote, and she sat back down on a tree stump closest to the left.
From left to right, Eva would cross her arms staring at the tray of marshmallows with a deadpan expression. Chase would be sitting down with his hands in the pockets of his hoodie, wearing an expression of boredom. Brick sat with his arms crossed, sitting up straight. Jo would have her elbow propped up on her thigh, and she was slumped down leaning her face into her palm. Duncan was similarly slumped down, except with his arms crossed. Amy had her fingers intertwined, waiting for the ceremony to just be over. Meanwhile Max was surprisingly calm.
"First marshmallow goes to… Eva!" She would catch her marshmallow.
"Amy, Brick, you two are safe." The two of them caught their marshmallows, with Brick doing a salute after catching it.
"... Chase." Chase would be too late to get his pockets out of his hoodie, and he wouldn't catch his marshmallow in time.
"... Duncan." Duncan would reach to get it, but Chase would snatch it from him before eating it not letting Duncan have a chance to get it back. The delinquent would roll his eyes at this gesture.
"Only one marshmallow left. If I call your name, and you receive your marshmallow then you will stay. If I do not call your name, you will ride the boat of losers. And you will leave Total Drama United. Never to return."
Jo and Max would both stare at each other. Jo with a cocky smirk, and Max with an angry expression full of hatred.
"The final marshmallow goes to…"
Max and Jo's eyes both narrow, Jo's expression turning into one full of venom. The two of them could feel all eyes on them now, or more specifically Max. The purple haired boy clenched his fist as he grit his teeth.

"Jo." Chris tossed her the marshmallow.
A hushed silence would arrive as Jo caught her marshmallow. All the jockette would do is smirk before waving goodbye at Max.
However, surprisingly, the evil-wannabe would have a grin on his face as well.
"Max, you're eliminated."
"Actually, I don't think I am."
"Uhh, yeah dude. You are." Chris responded confused.
"No, I'm not. Because I found this!" Max would hold up the Chris McLean invincibility statue making the rest of the campers gasp. "I have immunity!"
"Wait, what? This- this can't be!" Jo panicked rising from her seat. "This is how I get voted off?!"
"Calm down." Chris told her. "I never said there was an immunity statue. Because I never hid one."
"Uhh, clearly you did." Max said.
Chris walked over and took the statue from Max before looking at it. "This immunity idol does not have the McLean seal of approval. Sorry to tell you, but it's fake."
"Oh, thank god." Jo sat back down, relieved to not be eliminated.
"So… That means." Max began.
"You're out Max."
Max grit his teeth as he growled. "You will all pay! I will find you when I take over the world! And you will die by my hands!"
Chef would shove Max's suitcase into his hands. "Get out of here."
Max huffed out a frustrated sigh before walking off, going down the dock of shame.
"Bye Maximum-Disappointment!" Jo laughed hysterically.
Max walked the dock of shame, heading to the boat of losers as the camera followed him. "To be tricked by a fake immunity idol. This is worse than my previous elimination. At least there I left without being completely humiliated." Max talked through his gritted teeth.
The purple haired boy stepped onto the boat, and it would drive away.
"Bloody Katanas, you may head back to your trailers. Once again, with one less member."
Brick left first, followed by Jo. Duncan, Eva, Amy, and Chase would soon follow, each member heading to their respective trailers.
"What a fun day. For science… Right?" Chris asks as he looks at Chef, who would just shrug. "That is a very good question isn't it? You wanna know what else is a good question?"
"No." Chef replied.
"Will the Bloody Katanas finally not lose? Will Damien cause another fire? And if he does, will the smell of it still linger on for hours like this one? Find out next time! On Total! Drama! United!
Voting Confessionals:
Amy: I know that I voted for Brick in the previous one, but honestly I'd rather not lose anymore challenges because of that purple haired buffoon.
Brick: Will Max learn one day? I'm not sure. But today is not that day, meaning he needs to go now!
Jo: Well this time I don't have any reason to boot someone else. My leadership is strong, and everyone trusts it now. So it's time to kick off the weak.
Eva: If Max survives another elimination ceremony, I will be furious. He got off lucky last time, because we had bigger fish to fry. Now? He's dead!
Max: You may think that I've screwed myself, but no I haven't. Because I have the immunity idol, and once Jo is gone I can get everyone else to make me their leader. And then I'll have nothing to worry about.

Reason For Elimination
I don't think too many people are shocked at this. I didn't exactly make it a surprise that Max was gonna be the next one eliminated from this team, because he was annoying and he also cost the team the challenge. I think I added a bit of extra spice to it with the fake idol thing, but other than that it's a fairly simple elimination. As for Max in this season, he was fun to write for the three episodes he was here. However he was always gonna be an early boot. I casted him for the sole purpose of being an early boot, and while I do think he had his funny moments, I think if he lasted any longer his gimmick would've gotten stale. I spared him from being the first boot, and I'm glad I did. But I'm also glad that I eliminated him second, because I didn't have any more jokes planned for him.
Did you think Max had a few more episodes in him?
Do you think he should've been gone first?
And what the hell are the Loaded Rifles gonna do with those alcohol bottles?
Let me know in your reviews!
