A black-haired, black eyed male, Son Goten, was walking around a dense forest-like area with a black dinosaur, a Black Agumon, following in his footsteps. Goten supposed to be on a time patrol to a different timeline, but somehow, he was transported into a different dimension. Let's not get started that with him was the now lost Tsuki no Hime who was visiting her fellow Senshi, Sailor Pluto. Goten was sure that that certain Senshi will wallop his head with her time staff for losing her precious princess in this new world. He was pretty sure this was also the first time in this new world, especially when it is inhabited by creatures called Digimon. "Who are we looking for again," questioned his Digi-partner, Black Agumon.

"Usagi," said Goten, "I'm pretty sure that she came to this world with me."

"Another Digidestined," questioned an awed Black Agumon.

"I hope not," said Goten, "Usagi-san doesn't need to fight anymore battles."

"Demo," said Black Agumon, "If she was transported to the Digital World just like you, then she is mostly a Digidestined. It also depends if we find her with a Digimon partner."

"I guess," said Goten, "Demo…"

Goten was interrupted by the rustling of leaves that was near him. Getting into a defensive stance with Black Agumon semi-in front of him, the pair waited for whatever was going to come out. The leaves parted until Goten and Black Agumon saw the head of a Digimon. Said Digimon was red in color and had black lines and a symbol on its white chest. The red ears started to move as the head tilted to the side like a puppy. Goten and Black Agumon were still tense until the Digimon in question opened its mouth and said… "Usagimon," came out a childish voice, "I found a similar you and a Black Agumon! The similar you looks funny!"

"U-Usagi…," started Goten.

"…Mon," questioned Black Agumon.

"Guilmon," said a female voice as a female appeared, "I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a mon."

"You could be and you just don't know it," said Guilmon childishly.

"Oh, Guilmon," sighed the female.

"Usagi," breathed out Goten.

There, in front of him, was the missing princess, Usagi, he was searching for since he arrived to this world. He was so glad that Usagi didn't look like she was injured because if she was, he knew Pluto… no… the entire Senshi group was going to harm him something fierce. Usagi, on her part, was tying her long hair into a braid instead of the royal hairstyle she was always wearing. She knew that if she had to battle with Guilmon again, her hair wouldn't stand the tangles that were sure to be made from attacks creating wind. Finishing her braid, her crystal blue eyes looked to see who Guilmon found before smiling in relief. "Goten-kun," exclaimed Usagi as she beamed a huge smile his way.

"Usagi-san," said Goten, "I am glad you are alright."

"It's Usagi-chan," emphasized Usagi, "I always tell you and your time patrol team to call me that."

"Gomen," said Goten sheepishly, "Habits are hard to overcome, you know."

"Hai," said Usagi skeptically, "And I am also glad you are alright."

"Demo," said Goten, "If I was fast enough to get you to safety, we wouldn't have been sucked in by that attack from Putine's spell."

"Hey," said Usagi, "We both came out alive, and that's all that matters. I am also sure Puu and Galaxia are working together to find us in this dimension."

"And," said Black Agumon, "You have us!"

"Yeah," shouted Guilmon.

"And we have two new friends," said Usagi with a chuckle, "So, since we are together, why not explore this dimension until we are found?"

"Demo," said Goten.

"Daijōbu," said Usagi reassuringly, "Besides, think of this as an adventure!"

"Adventure, huh," questioned Goten thoughtfully, "Okay, demo! You, Usagi-san, have to stay as safe as possible. I do not want your Senshi guards to destroy me if something happens to you."

"Deal," said Usagi, "And again! It's Usagi-chan!"

Usagi and Goten shook their hands together just as Guilmon questioned Usagi on why she would have guards. Usagi blatantly sighed as Goten told both Black Agumon and Guilmon that Usagi is an important princess who needs to be protected at all costs. The two Digimon looked at each other before looking at Goten, telling them both that they would protect Usagi with their Digi-life. "Good grief," bemoaned Usagi, "More overprotective protectors."

- With The Time Patrol –

"What do you mean you can't find koneko," shouted the female voice of Uranus.

When the battle between the Time Patrol and the Dark Empire ended, everyone who was battling the Dark Empire looked around to see that yes, their Princess, and that yes, Son Goten, were NOT accounted for. The Senshi were frantic as they searched for their missing princess while the Time Patrol was searching for BOTH the princess and their friend/brother/uncle/son Goten, depending on who were at the battle. The both groups, however, came up empty, especially Pluto and Galaxia who were shifting through the timelines. "It seems, as though, they were affected by Putine's spell," said Galaxia worriedly.

"Because of the spell," explained Pluto, "They may have ended up in an all different dimension separated from the many timelines we patrol."

"So, how are we going to find them," questioned one of the black-haired males, Son Goku.

"I believe that each Senshi use their own planetary powers to send one of the Time Patrol members and themselves into a different dimension," said Pluto, "That way we will find them faster."

"Divide and conquer," said another black-haired male, Son Gohan.

"Exactly," said Pluto.

"Demo, we should also create a tracking device," piped up Mercury, "And try it out with ONE pair going into a different dimension so we all know it works."

"I'll get my woman," sneered another black-haired male, Vegeta, before stalking off.

- With Goten & Usagi –

"Plasma Blade," shouted a digivolved Guilmon, Orange Growmon.

"Jūouken," shouted a digivolved Black Agumon, Leomon.

While it was only a day for the Senshi and the Time Patrol, time flowed differently for Goten and Usagi. They, along with the two Digimon, were enjoying their adventure as much as one would expect, despite being attacked by wild Digimon. Goten and Usagi were quick to realize that they could transfer their powers through the small device that magically appeared on their pants to their Digimon for them to digivolve into the next level. That, however, made Usagi realize that even with the Digimon, only Goten was able to fight alongside them. She could still remember what happened after they defeated said wild Digimon…

- Flashback –

"Goten, train me," demanded Usagi.

It was another day and another battle won that Usagi had an epiphany. She could always see herself standing on the sidelines as Goten would use his Saiyajin powers to help their Digivolved Digi-partners. She had powers too, but hers were more healing and magical base than actual physical attacks. So, she demanded Goten to train her on his way of fighting while the Digimon de-digivolved back into Black Agumon and Guilmon respectively. "Huh," questioned Goten in surprise.

"Train me," said Usagi, "To use ki like you do! I want to help the Digimon too!"

"Usa," started Goten.

"I know that I promised to be as safe as possible, demo how can I if I can't fight to get away from anything in this world," pressed on Usagi.

"You can always rely on us," piped up Black Agumon.

"Demo," said Usagi, "What happens if we are all accidentally separated? I know Guilmon won't leave me since he's my partner, demo what if a Digimon has the power to separate all of us?"

"Usagimon has a point," said Guilmon.

"I… guess I can teach you the basics," said Goten warily.

"Arigatō, Goten-kun," said Usagi happily, "You won't even regret it!"

- End Flashback –

Usagi smiled at that memory as she quickly threw a silver ki ball towards the Digimon and knocked it away before another attack from Leomon and Orange Growmon. She was glad for the training because with it, she had gotten close to her secret crush, Goten. Though, she would NEVER tell Goten that just as she dodged an oncoming attack. That attack, however, made her fall on her ankle wrong, making her cry out in pain. Goten, on his part, quickly rushed towards Usagi's aid and was there in the nick of time to pull her out of another attack. "Goten," breathed out Usagi.

"You promised me you'd be careful, Usa," said Goten with a frown.

"Not my fault," said Usagi as she snuggled a bit unconsciously into Goten.

"R~ight," said a sarcastic Goten who was trying not to blush.

"Hey, lovebirds," called out Leomon, "Digivolve us again so we can finish this battle."

"W-We aren't lovebirds, Leomon," shouted the pair.

"Could have fooled me," said Orange Growmon in his gruff voice.

"Ugh," groaned out Goten, "Just Digivolve already."

With that statement, two bright lights burst out from the devices and engulfed Leomon and Orange Growmon. Both Digimon finally digivolved into their Perfect level, Flaremon for Leomon and Orange MegaloGrowmon for Orange Growmon. Usagi, without looking at Goten, knew that their Digimon were teasing them, but Usagi couldn't help that her heart broke a bit just as Goten would deny they could be together. She, however, didn't know that the same could be said for Goten's heart. Goten actually grew feelings for Usagi as he taught her the basics. He never knew why Gohan would fall for Videl when he was younger, but because of this adventure, Goten finally found out why Gohan fell for Videl. Usagi was the special person that his heart has chosen. Now, if only he was man enough to confess. "You can put Usagimon down now, Gotenmon," said Guilmon.

"Huh," questioned Goten who was still holding onto Usagi.

"You are still holding Usagi," said Black Agumon, "There's no more danger."

"O-Oh," said Goten who flushed a bit.

"Hey," shouted a new voice, "Are you guys alright?!"

"Huh," questioned the four as they looked up to see…

- With Time Patrol & Senshi –

"They are not in the dimension with that sexist pig and the huge robots," said a fuming Mars.

"They are totally not with the other me who looks like he is having fun beating the other universe's teammates," piped up a cheerful Goku.

"They are not in that idol dimension," said Venus.

"Which idol dimension," questioned back Son Pan, "There were multiple!"

"The one with the two twins who are in different idol groups," responded Venus.

"We can also rule out that other idol dimension with that Saotome Academy in it," said Neptune.

As they listed each and every dimension they went to, the only pairing that were still within their own exploration was Trunks and Mercury. They were in the dimension's mirrored Tōkyō, Japan and looking for any clues as to where the princess and Goten were. They all hoped that Trunks and Mercury were the ones who will find them as Uranus and Vegeta told them, via communicator, that the pair were definitely NOT in the dimension with the crazy strong martial artists. "Ah, man," pouted Goku, "I want to go where Vegeta is! I'm sure he's fighting those strong fighters right now."

"Tōsan," sighed Gohan.

"Well, teams," said Galaxia wearily, "Let's keep looking for the pair. I am also going to send out the Animates once they are done patrolling the other solar system."

Everyone nodded their heads as they paired up with their fellow Senshi and disappeared into another different dimension. They just hope that when they DO find the pair, the two are safe as they can be.

- With Goten & Usagi –

"Who knew there was a way out of that Digital World," exclaimed Goten.

The person they heard was a fellow Digidestined who was tasked by someone named Gennai to help them out of the world. They were also told by said searcher to not be alarmed if time was different from when they were teleported into the Digital World. They were just glad that their Digi-partners were still with them, even though they were in their in-training form, Moonmon for Black Agumon and Sunmon for Guilmon. Yet, before the pair could venture into the Real World that this Digidestined came from, said Digidestined asked if they were a couple because of the opposite in-training forms of their Digi-partners started him. That led to now, where Goten and Usagi were walking through the park together with their Digi-partners inside borrowed backpacks and Goten trying to end the awkwardness. "Y-Yeah," said Usagi, "A-Ano…"

"Hm," acknowledged Goten.

"A-About what M-Masaru-san said…," said Usagi.

"Ah," said Goten, "Don't worry about it. Besides, I know that you don't like me like that."

"D-Demo," said Usagi who was getting flustered, "I-I do like you?"

"E-Eh," questioned Goten in surprise.

That surprised question from Goten also made him stop dead in his tracks and turn towards Usagi, eyes wide. He was sure that he was hearing Usagi wrong. She couldn't like him like how he likes her. But, as Usagi breathed in to center herself, she looked Goten straight in the eye and repeated to him that she likes him. Goten couldn't say anything as he processed that yes, Usagi declared her infatuation for him. Usagi, on her part, couldn't handle the silence. She shouldn't have said anything about what that Masaru-san suggested because of their Digi-partners' in-training forms. Sure, they were opposites and opposites attract, but it didn't really reflect Usagi and Goten as a couple. Usagi inwardly sighed in sadness as she tried to take back what she said. She, however, was taken aback by Goten's next question. "Since when," questioned Goten.

"Huh," asked Usagi in confusion.

"S-Since when did you like me," questioned Goten.

"W-Well," said Usagi who was deep in thought, "I actually had a huge crush on you before this adventure started. I believe that it was when Puu introduced you all to us Senshi and what the Time Patrol would be doing."

"T-That long," gaped Goten.

"Un," nodded Usagi, "T-Though, y-you can forget about m-my c-confession. I k-know that you d-do not…"

"I like you too," blurted out Goten.

"E-Eh," questioned a very flustered Usagi.

"I like you, too," said Goten who got his bearings back and held Usagi's hands in his, "This adventure… it opened my eyes to you, Usa-chan. It opened me to the funny, kind, and beautiful woman you are. I am also really glad I got to train you."

"Goten-kun," whispered Usagi.

"S-So, uh," stuttered Goten who lost his bearings once more, "W-Wanna make it official? Become my girlfriend for real?"

"Hai," said an enthusiastic Usagi.

Usagi and Goten smiled at each other as their feelings finally came out. They were also flushing brightly as they listened to Moonmon and Sunmon talk about their partners finally getting together and how they knew from the start that they were going to end up together. Nothing makes the opposite gender come together than fighting Digital Monsters together with their Digi-partners. Just as the four were going to continue their stroll, Goten still holding Usagi's hand, another, but familiar, male voice called out to them. "Goten," shouted the male, "Hime!"

"Trunks," shouted Goten as he saw who called him.

"Mercury," shouted Usagi who saw the Mercurian Senshi behind Trunks.

"We finally found you, Usagi-hime," said Mercury in relief.

"Yeah," said Trunks, "We were looking all over the dimensional planes for you guys!"

"Arigatō for finding us," said Usagi with a smile.

"Yeah," said Goten, "Oh! Trunks! I have so much to tell you about this adventure with Usa-chan!"

"Usa-chan," chorused the pair.

Goten blinked before flushing again. He was just excited to tell his best friend the exciting fights he had gotten to do and introduce him to his Digimon partner that he unconsciously shortened Usagi's name. Even though they just started dating, Goten realized that it was a very quick response to shorten Usagi's name. Maybe it was also due to the pair staying in the Digital World for a couple of weeks before they were found by Masaru-san and realizing that only three days have passed in this dimension's real world when the couple saw the calendar. Usagi also flushed and wanted to hide her face, but she realized that her hand was still in Goten's. Trunks, on the other hand, was extremely smart as he saw the joined hands and hearing the shortened version of the princess's name. "Goten," said Trunks slowly.

"H-Hai," questioned Goten.

"Are you dating the hime," questioned Trunks with a smirk on his face.

"W-We just started dating," confessed Goten who was completely red in the face, "Like five minutes ago."

"Does this mean that Son-san will become the new king," questioned Mercury whose blue eyes were twinkling with mirth.

"M-Mercury," whined out Usagi.

"If it does," said Trunks with whine, "Does this mean that I have to call you 『Your Highness』, Goten?"

"We have to report this, Brief-san," said Mercury in a teasing tone.

"Ah," said Trunks with mischief in his eyes.

Goten and Usagi were spluttering that they weren't at that stage yet. However, they couldn't say anything because Moonmon and Sunmon both hopped out of the lent backpacks and started to complain about hunger. Trunks and Mercury just stared as Usagi and Goten sighed in exasperation. They were glad Masaru-san gave them some money before telling their Digi-partners to get back into the backpacks. "What are those," questioned Trunks incredulously.

"Digimon," explained Usagi, "Short for Digital Monsters."

"The protectors of this world who is partnered with humans," continued Goten, "Demo, we'll tell you more once we get food in our systems."

"Protectors," murmured Mercury before gasping, "Don't tell us that you are now protectors of this world!"

"That's right, lady," said Moonmon, "They are our partners to protect and save the Digital World!"

"Usagi/Goten," exclaimed Trunks and Mercury, "Just what have you've gotten dragged into?!"
