Here is the latest chapter and to tell everyone I saw the Deadpool and Wolverine movie. Now who agrees that movie was awesome and how should I should I use it in the future Diamondverse story.
Intro: "In the night with a violet purple shockwave over the ocean and imitating from the moon, it reveals Hiccup and Toothless older by five years dives down flying fast over the ocean surface. It's now Morning as Hiccup rode on Toothless flying to an island, and beside them are two Maximals Airrazor and Nightscream in beast modes. The island has a base combining Viking construction and Cybertronian technology, and flying around it, dragons. In the main tower, is Astrid with her arms crossed, Fishlegs with the Book of Dragons, their dragons Meatlug and Stormfly beside them, and along side them is Tigertron and Cheetor. The screen shows the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut fighting while mounted on their two headed dragon Barf and Belch, Snotlout leaning on a chair with Hookfang behind him, Rattrap and Dinobot stood, while the raptor Maximal held his sword in hand. In the communication tower shows Rhinox, Airazor and Nightscream in robot mode. And in the forge/laboratory is Botanica, Silverbolt and his lover Blackarachnia. Hiccup knee down holding an object similar to a scope with Optimus Primal standing beside him, and Toothless opens his mouth glowing purple violet into the scope that in heightens the light to reveal something. Looking through the scope showing new species of dragon, and it shows images Norsemen writing and glyphs of the dragons and locations. Hiccup narrates as the Dragon Riders, their dragons and the Maximals and Team Prime standing beside each other: "This changes everything." Dragons Race to the Edge and Beast Wars.
On a distant location surrounded by fogs and wrecked ships the boarders between the archipelago and the rest of the world, as a seagull lands but was almost attacked by a giant tiger eel. A ship was pulling something out of the water with chains but having some difficulties and struggles, the captain of this vessel is Savage who now shaved his mustache off. He yells to the crew: "Keep pulling you maggots! Unless you want to be giant eel chum!" He bashes a shield off and an eel snatches it in mid flight.
Inside an open door cage is Dagur speaking to his muscles as he does a one arm pull-ups: "Hello gorgeous." He kisses his own flexing arm. "Oh, hello again." He kisses his arm again he continues to do his pull-ups. "Work me baby! Work for daddy!" Savage says to his former master: "The Reaper, is starting to surface sir!" Dagur annoyingly says: "I can see that!" The second-in-command says regarding his words: "Oh right."
Dagur goes back to flexing his arm but focus on his other arm and says: "Oh, he gorgeous. Ho, pretty." He works himself, exercising keep himself.
As they raise the ship, and gathered the tools and gear off the said ship, one of the Berserkers says: "That's the last of it." He places a giant bear trap on their ship. Dagur was walking on the deck of his ship, Savage says to him: "Well, we have everything of value from the dragon hunting ship." The former Berserker chief replies disagreeably: "No, not everything." He throws a knife towards Savage but not directly at him, but behind him the paper drawing of the Dragon-eye.
At the Edge where Hiccup holds the said tool, the Dragon-eye itself. He was checking the lenses, and cleans it. With Toothless beside him, he says to his dragon: "Ok, give me a slow burn, bud." To which the Night Fury opens his mouth with a violet flame and the 3D hologram shines on the wall. "Ok, I've see this before." He spoke of seeing the same image as before. He looks at the button seeing on the bottom. "What happens if I push…?" When he presses it, the light turns red, he flips the Dragon-Eye reveals new hologram. "Cool, Dragon classes. Let's say we check out the Night Fury bud?" He asks his dragon, who is less than excited. "Try to contain your excitement would ya?" Toothless makes a laughing sound.
Hiccup turns the Dragon-Eye, "Now monstrous nightmare gem." It shows the holographic imaging and twists the dials like a Chinese puzzle, "plus Night Fury, equals…" The hologram shuts off. "Nothing, okay." He tries it again, but he aims it at the door, just then Astrid along with Airazor opens the door. "Ho! Astrid class and Airazor class." He jokingly says as he sees his friends who make an unexpected appearance.
Astrid says to her friend: "Hiccup, we have a problem. A huge problem." The female Maximal speak in agreement: "At first I thought she was exaggerating. But I was wrong." The Viking Dragon Riding Prince questions them: "Dagur and the Insecticons?" The human female warrior answers: "Worse." To which he questions again: "What could be possibly worse than Dagur or the Insecticons?"
In a distant yell from Cheetor's voice yelling: "In coming!" The thing that is coming in, was Gustav and his dragon Fanghook who comes crashing in at Hiccup's front gate. The young boy has grown into a young man, still behind but still a pre-teen, he says to the young but a bit older prince: "Gustav." He spoke his own name, Hiccup questions him: "Gustav?" Astrid and Airazor says at the same time: "Gustav." The young man dismounts his dragon while Hiccup keeps the Dragon-Eye hidden behind his back, as he asks him: "Gustav, what are you doing here? I-I mean. What do we owe the pleasure of this visit?" He sits down as Fanghook tail whips Toothless in the face, then the two dragons play wrestle.
Snotlout along with the other riders and the Maximals rushes to Hiccup's room. Snotlout says to his cousin: "Hiccup, did you hear Gustav is…" he stops in mid sentence seeing his former apprentice, "Standing right behind you. Perfect." Tuffnut behind Snotlout says regarding the young man: "You look a little different there, Guster." To which Gustav steps down and speaks: "Yeah, I'm growing a beard." He said regarding the small hair on his face.
The male twin leans in closer, to see the small hair and remarks on the hair: "Really? Let me see?" He does see it and it's not as impressive. "Ha! Even Ruff has more hair on her chiny-chin-chin, than that." He pulls the hair, which causes some discomfort and Gustav falls backward onto the table, which hurts him. Then he sees the Dragon-Eye and picks it up and questions it: "Hey, what's that thing?" He looks at it from the front end of the Dragon-Eye and the blinding light caused him to see spots.
Rattrap speaks to Dinobot and Nightscream: "Clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer." To which the Maximal bat adds: "Neither are you Rattrap." He hisses back at the young rodent with wings.
Gustav was dizzy and asks: "You see these spots? Is it some sort of sun sword?" Hiccup says to him: "No Gustav, it's not a sun sword." Fishlegs takes it carefully and explains to Gustav: "It's called the Dragon Eye. And it's very old and very fragile." They explained but Gustav is still dizzy and says: "These spots aren't going away." He hits the wall with the different colored prosthetic tail fins for Toothless. To which the Night Fury catches the black tail fin with green flames painted on it.
Fishlegs also speaks regarding the Dragon-Eye still: "And it isn't something that just be touched." But the boy says: "Relax Fishlegs, I know what I'm doing." But he bumps into the wall and all the tail fins falls down some hitting Toothless, Fanghook puts one on top of Toothless head.
Cheetor says seeing Gustav's clumsiness: "And here I thought I was a klutz." He spoke of experience of himself, Blackarachnia says in agreement: "He's like a bully in a China shop." They and the others Maximals all nodded yes in agreement.
Snotlout stops him and speaks to him: "Gustav, Gustav over here." He raises the helmet to get a look of his face. "Hu, when are you leaving?" To which Gustav laughs thinking it as a joke and answers: "That's funny Snotlout, but I'm not leaving. I'm moving here." This shocked the Vikings till the male twin started laughing, he smack Ruffnut in the arm and he does the same with Silverbolt. He tried to speak through his laughter, but then stops and says in a questioning tone: "Wait, he's serious?" The wolf/eagle fuzor says: "It would appear the kid's staying." Tuffnut says in annoyed tone: "I'll get the stake and fire wood."
But Hiccup and Optimus Primal stop them, Hiccup says: "Now hold on, no body's burning anyone at the stake." Ruffnut says in agreement: "He's right. Let's throw him off a cliff." Optimus Primal questions: "Isn't that a little extreme?" Fishlegs says to him: "Uh, no offense sir. But Gustav is like a miniature version of Snotlout. Only more annoying." To which Snotlout and Gustav exclaims: "Hey!" The plus size Viking continues: "And let's just say he's most uncontrollable with his dragon than the twins." Then the twins exclaims: "Hey."
The Viking Prince says to everybody: "Guys, I'm sure there's a simple explanation. Please tell me there's a simple explanation, Gustav." He turns to the young man still dizzy but slowly his vision's going back to normal and he answers: "Yeah, very simple." He rubs his eyes. "By the way, do not look into that sun sword, thing." He laughs a bit, Rattrap says regarding the advice: "We'll keep that in mind." He spoke in a sarcastic tone, but gets hit in the head by Dinobot: "Don't patronize him, vermin. Now please, continue." He turned from the rodent Maximal to Gustav. The young man answers: "Anyway you said when I was ready, I can join the Dragon Riders. Well I'm ready and I'm here to join. Where's my hut?" He said with enthusiasm and excitement but Hiccup wasn't too thrilled.
Outside Hiccup is with Astrid and Rattrap who questions him, Astrid starts first: "Wait a minute, why do we have to watch him?" Rattrap agrees with Astrid: "Yeah, I'm a Maximal warrior and demolition expert not a babysitter." Hiccup answered speaking softly: "I would do it. But I'm just making some major breakthroughs with the Dragon-Eye." The female warrior still questions him: "So?" Hiccup says to her again: "Well I did promise him, that when the time was right I would train him to be a dragon rider. But I just didn't think that said time would be today." Astrid still questioned him: "So what are we supposed to do in the meantime?" The Viking prince states to them: "I don't know, keep him occupied?" Astrid in an upset tone: "Great, so I'm a babysitter." Rattrap says to her: "Hey honey, you're not the only one. I'm not too happy about this assignment either."
Hiccup laughs a bit: "(laughing) Babysitter. (Speaking normally) No. I mean come on, he's 16 how much trouble can he possibly be?" Then the leading dragon of the swarm fall to the docks exhausted. "Sminvarg, what is happening?" The Maximal rodent answers: "Hu, that." He points upwards seeing Gustav messing with the other swarm dragons and asks: "Hey Hiccup! Didnyou know they can do this? Awesome!" He continues to fly around the swarm causing them to scatter. Hiccup pleads with the two: "Please? I just need more time." Rattrap says to: "Alright boss-Viking. But you owe us big." Astrid mounts on her dragon Stormfly and says: "Gustav, arena! Now!" The female Viking warrior flies off with Maximal rodent following her.
Hiccup turns to the white dragon and says to him: "By the way, your timing, impeccable." The little dragon screeches at him then turns around and leaves.
In the sky as Astrid flew on Stormfly, Gustav rode his dragon Fanghook but stand upwards with his hands on his side. Astrid says flirting: "Oh Gustav, you are so much bolder and more mature. And I just love that rugged beard you're growing. Oh Gustav." Then it switches to reveal they're on the ground and Astrid's voice changes from sounding flirting to a serious tone. "Gustav!" Turns out that flirting Astrid was just in his mind.
The young Viking boy sat with his legs crossed and replies back to Astrid: "Oh! Hey, Astrid, I was just dreaming…" the older female warrior stops him and says: "Don't creep me out." Then coming up from behind Gustav is Rattrap who smacks in the back of the head and says: "Kid, get your head out of the clouds and focus." Astrid agreeable says: "He's right. Now you're gonna help with target practice. Do you think you can handle that?" To which Gustav answers trying to flirt with her: "Oh, I can handle that." She was still disgusted by his approach, Rattrap says sarcastically regarding Gustav: "Oh joy, puberty."
The female warrior says to the 16 year old boy: "When I say throw, you throw." She points to some barrels with targets, to which Astrid mounts on Stormfly and flies around the arena preforming feats, Gustav says finding her attractive: "She sure is something. Isn't she Fanghook?" He asks his dragon as he leans on his dragon with one arm, Rattrap gets a shiver down his back.
Astrid and Stormfly are flying downwards towards Gustav and Fanghook she yells to him: "Ok Gustav, throw!" He heard her but wasn't really listening his eyes were set on her and the barrel under his arm. Stormfly sees the target and fires her spikes at the said target, Astrid intercepts the spikes with her axe causing them to scatter in other directions. Stormfly swoops down Astrid jumps off, Gustav rushes to catch her, and his mind she still looks like she flirting with him. But the reality was she harshly lands on him. As she gets up he says to her: "Hey." Astrid rises up and speaks her mind: "Ok, definitely creeped out." Rattrap was also disturbed by this.
Elsewhere in the twins cabin and inside Tuffnut says to her twin and Nightscream: "Yeah, I'm telling ya if you get five boards and stack on top of each other, that makes a four boar stack…" before he can finish they stop and see Gustav in front of them, daydreaming. "What's he smiling about?" Ruffnut agrees and speaks her mind: "I don't like it." Nightscream speaks his mind as well: "Yeah, it's creepy." Tuffnut speaks: "Whatever he's selling I'm not buying." Ruffnut gets what he says and says to Gustav: "Yeah we don't want your cookies." She gets a different meaning than what her brother meant.
Then Gustav says to the twins and Maximal bat: "Hey guys. Astrid dropped me off. Told me to help out around here." To which the female twin asks: "Yeah, so? What's it to us?" The 16 year old speaks: "You know that big hole under your hut? Filled it in." The twins and Maximal were shocked, and Tuffnut speaks: "Oh no. He doesn't means the…" Ruffnut inhales sharply and Nightscream speaks: "If he filled in I think he filled in, I am going to be royally ticked off." They all ran.
They rush to the spot and Tuffnut says in anguish seeing the rocks blocking the hole: "The fill in boar pit!" The male twin gets down on his knees and tries to dig out the rocks. "He filled in the boar pit! Who fills in a boar pit?" He sobs for a minute. "BOOOOOAAAARRRR PIIIIIIT!" Tuffnut cradles into a ball and cries. As the chicken clucks and pecks on Tuffnut's helmet. Gustav tries to comfort him but Ruffnut stops him and says: "Hey, back off! Haven't you done enough already?" She falls her knees and also sobs. Nightscream says to Gustav: "Kid if I was you, I suggest you leave. We are going to need a mom to mourn over our precious boar pit." He too was sadden by the filling of said pit.
Gustav and Fanghook are now with Fishlegs, Meatlug, Tigertron and Dinobot all meditating on individual rocks in a pond. Fishlegs claps his hands and Meatlug drops a fire ball into the pond. Gustav speaks his mind of this meditation: "This…this feels weird Fishlegs." But the plus size Viking says to him: "Trust me Gustav, this is exactly what you need. You're not center you all over the place." he then says shh. Tigertron adds: "Yes, be one with the universe. Let your energy flow like a river." Dinobot finishes: "Through this, you gain discipline. Only through this will you achieve a warriors mind more than just a body." He explains.
Fishlegs instructs: "Just breath in and breath out. Focus on avoid all conflict." He keeps telling to breath in and breath out, Fanghook took this lesson to hard for he breathed out fire on a small bush. He opens his eyes and tries to put out the fire but no success, he tries to blow it out but unintentionally breath more fire on it, he tries swiping it with his tail but while it did put out the fire it was too late. "Ah! My topiaries!" But Tigertron says to him: "Fishlegs relax. This tree dies but a new one will be born from the ashes." To which Gustav questions: "Tigertron what do you mean?" The tiger bot says: "Come with me."
Tigertron leads Gustav and Fanghook to a land of dirt and grass and leaves, and all creatures be dragon or other animal. Tigertron says to the young boy: "Gustav you have potential and Fanghook has power but you lack control. But to gain it you must give up the illusion of control." Gustav questions: "Illusion?" The tiger Maximal explains as he stood underneath a tree: "Yes. Take this tree for example. I can't make it blossom leaves whenever it suits me, or make it bare fruit before it's time." He states regarding the trees ability.
Gustav states: "True, but I can make the fruit fall. Fanghook." The Monstrous Nightmare swats his tail, shaking the tree fruit fall which makes Tigertron have a stoke look on his face. "I can control where the fruit will fall." One of the fruits lands on Gustav's helmet, making Tigertron chuckle a bit. "I can control where to plant the seed. That isn't an illusion Tigertron." He said as he removed the fruit from his horn and pulls the seed out and places it in the ground. But Tigertron adds to this as he covers the seed with the dirt: "True. But that seed will grow up to become a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but all you get will be a peach." Gustav couldn't argue with that logic and replies: "Eh…you got me there."
The tiger bot grabs Gustav's wrist places it on the ground and says: "Aside from the seed, what do you see? What do you feel?" The boy closes his eyes inhales and in his mind's eye he feels the earth. He hears birds chirping, frogs ribiting, fish flopping out of the water terrible terrors wings flapping. Gustav says: "I hear many things. I hear life." He looks into the earth seeing bones of dead people and animals even dead plants underneath the soil. "I see life after death. I see the dead giving life to plants and animals and in return going back." Tigertron says to him: "What you saw was the circle of life. That everything lives will eventually die and return to the earth, and through the death will gain new life. Life, death, rebirth all existing in the eternal circle." While Gustav takes this to heart.
Later he's with Snotlout who is not too happy they walk into the hut where Hiccup usually is. Snotlout says to him: "I have had enough of you Gustav! Now stay! Stay!" He commanded him like a dog, but unknown to him Snotlout his helmet was on fire. Gustav tries to warn him: "Uh…Snotlout, your head…" before he could finish his sentence the muscular Viking says to him: "Stop! I'm not falling for that again." He leaves but realizes his hemet's on fire so he screams and jumps into the ocean.
Gustav turns his attention to the inside of the hut and openly asks: "Hello? Hiccup?" But no responds, so Gustav explores the hut and sees the hut seeing the racks of different tail fins, he bounces around till he falls on one the tail fins, the black with green flames specifically. He takes a few steps back and falls down and opens the trunk seeing all the personal objects, scrolls, books and other objects. "What have we here?" He asks openly seeing the old pegleg Hiccup used years earlier.
He bends his knee and acts like Hiccup: "Gee Gustav, there must be a simple explanation for you being here." Then he switches to his voice. "Well yeah Hiccup. Because I am awesome." He then switches back to acting like Hiccup, "You are awesome Gustav. Definitely ready to be a dragon rider." He hops on the pegleg but raises his other leg. He kept hopping till he hops on Fanghook's tail, causing him to exhale fire on the black green flame tail fin. They try to put it out, then Gustav turns to the Dragon Eye seeing it glowing, he jumps off the truck walks toward it and throws a light he sees a hologram of a map.
"Is that…a treasure map?" He asks regarding it, then exclaims. "Oh, Fanghook we are so in!" He said to his dragon as they go on a treasure hunt.
The young Viking and his dragon flew heading for the said island. Gustav pulls out a poorly drawn map of the island, "There it is Fanghook, just like the Dragon Eye said. All we gotta do now is find the cave, grab the treasure and who's gonna get his own hut on the Edge?" The monstrous nightmare roar in excitement for he and his rider. "A-Gustav." He spoke his name for he think he'll be a shoe in for the Edge.
When the boy and his dragon lands on the beachhead, he takes his first few steps then felt the island shaking like a tremor. Some large rocks falls on the beach, near the stone wall, Gustav was stunned by the fall debris, "Uh…I'm not worried. Are you worried?" He tries to act tough he asks his dragon who is scared but tries not to show fear.
The duo continues onward into the cave, till they reach a moment to stop. "Fanghook, flame up." With that the dragon lights himself on fire allowing better light to see, Gustav pulls out the map but another tremor happens, causing Gustav to loose his balance and gets the map on fire. He tries to put it out, but it was eventually consumed so the young boy lets go of it. He was disappointed seeing the burned remains of the said paper. "Good thing we brought this along." He pulls out of his satchel the Dragon Eye itself. "Fanghook." He insists his dragon, who breaths fire in his mouth showing the map but upside down, "i think we go this way." He walks to his left, the floor begins to crack with each step. "That's it, just up this way." But he stops in mid run, for the ground, begins to crumbles and breaks in front of him, he almost falls but Fanghook grabs him by his satchel and pulls him up.
Gustav was relieved but he checks himself and finds the Dragon Eye not on him, he turns to see the very object rolling to the newly open ground, he grabs it has he hangs by the ledge with his other hand. "A little help here Fanghook?" His grip begins to loosen. "A little help?" But his dragons doesn't respond, then his grip loosens and he almost falls till another human hand grabs him by the wrists and pulls him up. He looks up to see Hiccup and Optimus Primal both are angry at him. "Hiccup, Optimus! I can explain." He said trying to plead for his innocence.
Back at the Edge where the Dragon Riders and Maximals are gathered where Gustav is sitting and it appears he's being prosecuted and scolded for his actions. Hiccup walks up and angrily says to Gustav: "Of all the irresponsible, insubordinate…" Tuffnut adds as he counts with his finger: "Don't forget idiotic, imbecilic." The group were shocked to hear that coming from the male twin's mouth. "What? I've heard a lot of words for stupid. Come on, people say that more than my proper name." Blackarachnia understandably agrees: "Well can't argue with logic like that."
Optimus Primal says to Gustav: "Young human, give us one good reason why we shouldn't throw you in the brig so you can reflect on your actions." Hiccup says to the young boy: "Optimus Primal's right, give us a good reason why, of all those kinds of stunts, you could have pulled, this was the worse. Do you what Dagur would do to get his hands on the Dragon Eye?" The young boy explains himself: "I thought if I came back with the treasure, you guys would accept me." To which the leader of the Maximals questions him: "Do you really think a handful of trinkets will make us accept you as one of the Dragon Riders? You honestly believe that silver and gold will make you able to ride a dragon?" He said in an angry tone still.
The Viking prince says to his friend: "Thank you Optimus for pointing that out but I think I can take it from here. First off, there is no treasure. Second of all, we've already been there. That entire island is an honeycomb of unstable caverns we've ever encountered." Gustav tries to apologize again: "I'm sorry, I just…" but Hiccup interrupts: "You could've been killed Gustav, Fanghook could've been killed. Look this isn't Berk. Gustav the rules are different out here. You have to be smarter than this." Gustav explains himself: "I just wanted to prove myself." Silverbolt speaks in understanding: "I get that a young boy trying to prove himself as a man. Even if the risks outweigh the rewards if any at all." Hiccup questions him: "Who's side are you on?" He asks but then turns to Gustav, "Aside from Silverbolt's statement you have. You have proven you are not responsible enough, not mature enough and you are not trustworthy to be one of us." He spoke of Gustav's flaws but instead of taking it to heart he felt insecure and insulted by it. "Now it's been a long day. Now we need some rest. We'll talk about this in the morning." The group leave, and while Hiccup did speak truth, but Dinobot, Rattrap and Cheetor also felt the words sting.
Rattrap says outside regarding both them and Gustav: "Ok, I'll admit the kid may have some quirks. But hey people say I'm not trustworthy enough, you don't see me crying about it." Cheetor adds in agreement: "Yeah, not mature enough? where's he get so high and mighty? Hiccup's probably done his share of messing up? And not mature enough? Well people said the same thing about me but that never stopped me." Dinobot finishes: "And not trust worthy? I've heard that line before over a million times." Rattrap questions: "Can you blame them you oversize reptile? After all you used to be a Predacon." Dinobot replies with a sneer: "True, but I at least tried to earn it, vermin!" To which the Maximal rat questions: "What's that suppose to mean?" The robotic raptor answers: "Well you are a rat, that gives people more issues to trust vermin like you rodent." Rattrap says back at him: "Well…at least I'm not a pre-evolved turn coat bird brain!" The two Maximals sneered and snarled at one another realizing this argument will escalate so they go their separate ways.
At night Gustav was sitting down, throwing fish for Fanghook who eats the fish. Gustav sulks and says: "Talk about it in the morning. Like there's anything left to say." Fanghook listens to his rider as he still eats the fish. "That's right! It's not fair! I did everything they asked! I shoveled dragon poop for two years without a single complaint! For what? So they can tell me I'm not good enough?" He misunderstood the message of what Hiccup was trying to explain but he refuses to accept this. "Well I am good enough. We're good enough." He gives the fish to his dragon. "And someday they'll find out. And it'll be too late. We're leaving." He mounts on Fanghook but before he leaves he hears a metallic clap. They turn to where the source is coming from.
Then Rattrap says to him as he emerges from the shadows: "Hehe. Kid, I heard everything and I gotta admit you and I aren't so different than I thought." Gustav questions him: "Really? Why?" To which the Maximal rat answers: "I know how it feels. People not trusting you despite everything you did and you make a few mistakes and you never hear the end of it." The young Viking offers him: "Hey wanna come back to Berk with me?" Rattrap replies him: "Sure I don't see why." They mount on Fanghook and flies off in the midnight sky.
As the Viking boy, Maximal rodent and dragon flew in the middle of the night. "They're gonna be so sorry, when they wake up in the morning and see we're gone. Once they realize we're missing they're gonna be begging us to come back to the Dragon's Edge. Those huts were lame any. I can't wait till…" Rattrap interrupts him: "Hey, junior, incoming!" Then a net flies at the, Gustav yells: "Wow! Fanghook dive!" To which they dodge it, "Haha! You miss!" Then another net is launched from behind, the three are caught in another net. Gustav tries to cut the rope but he couldn't cut fast enough and they ended up into the ocean.
Aboard the ship that brought Gustav, Rattrap and Fanghook down was Dagur the deranged's ship who was stabbing his ship with a knife and Savage voice says: "Haha! We captured a Dragon Rider and a metal giant!" To which the Berserker chief steps down and was gleeful and asks: "Which one is it? Ho, I sure hope it's brother Hiccup and Bee. Or I suppose the girl would work too." Savage questions his leader: "Which girl?" The Berserker leader answers with a question back at him: "There's more than one? I mean I get the she-giant but still.
The warriors who surrounded their captured prey, were pushed aside by Dagur who wishes to see but its not who he hoped it be. Fanghook was in a cage, Gustav and Rattrap were crossed leg sitting down. "This is not one of Hiccup's Dragon Riders. And the other one, you said he was a metal giant. Does he look like a giant to you? What are they? The runts of the litter?" He turns his attention to the boy and Maximal. "Who are you two?" He asks in an intimidating tone of voice.
Gustav answers Dagur's question: "Larson, Gustav Larson. And that's all you're getting out of me." He said with full confidence of unyielding to any intimidation. The Maximal answers: "As for me, the name's Rattrap. I'm a Maximal warrior. And that's all you'll get out me ya stinkin' Berserker-creeps." He to is trying to act unfazed by intimidation. Dagur rubs his chin and sees he won't get anything and says: "Fine. Feed the boy to the eels, and strip the metal one for scrap metal." Two berserkers carries Gustav who beings to blabber: "But wait! I know Hiccup, I know the Dragon Riders, and I have information!" The two warriors purposely drops Gustav to which Rattrap says to him: "Ho, way to go Gustav! Way to spiller your guts to the enemy!" He spoke in both sarcastic tone and yet disappointed.
Dagur walks up to Gustav, kneels down grabs the boy by his cheeks and questions him: "Ho? What kind of information?" The boy answers: "I can get you the Dragon Eye." Dagur continues to question him: "And what's the Dragon Eye?" Dagur lets go of Gustav's face as he answers: "That. That's the Dragon Eye." He pointed to the draw of the Dragon Eye on the mast. This peeked Dagur's interest.
The next morning Gustav was treated to a feast, he throws a chicken to Fanghook. Gustav drinks a mug and burps loudly. Rattrap leaned against the deck walls and was disgusted by the loud burp.
Dagur sitting across the table asks him: "So, are you enjoy the meal?" To which Gustav hums yes. "Good, good, good. So here's the deal. So here's the plan draw Hiccup, the Night Fury into the open, neutralize the other riders and the…Maximals was it?" Rattrap says to him: "Yeah buddy. But good luck with that, Optimus doesn't go down easily." Dagur questions: "Optimus? Optimus Prime is on the Edge? This is perfect! Without leadership the Autobots are easy pickings. And then we cease the Dragon Eye by lethal force as if there's any other type of force. Then the Dragon Eye will be mine." But the Maximal rodent corrects him: "No. Not Optimus Prime, another Optimus named Optimus Primal." This confused the Berserker chief: "Wait, now there's two Optimuses? Bonus! Two for the price of one!" He said with excitement of having killed another Optimus.
Gustav says to Dagur: "Yeah, that's one way of doing it. And you might get the Dragon Eye. Or Hiccup could crush you just like any another time faced off against him." He spoke in the flaw of Dagur's plan which irritates him, Savage pulls out a sword but Dagur stops him and questions: "You have a better idea Gustav?" To which does answers: "Yeah but can you pass me the sauce?" To which he's given some sauce. "I do. One that will guarantee Hiccup deliver the Dragon Eye right to us." Dagur asks him: "More mutton my friend?" To which Gustav hums yes and stabs the said mutton with his knife.
Rattrap says to him: "Well while Gustav is bought and only is self interest. But me, I can't be easily bought." To which Dagur questions: "Is that so?" He snaps his fingers and two warriors carries a chest full of treasure. "Behold the finest treasures we could find in these wrecked ships." To which Rattrap says to him: "You honestly think treasure can bought me?" To which Dagur says: "Ok, maybe one isn't enough how about two?" Rattrap replies to him: "Heh, you can the diamond mines of King Solomon himself and you still wouldn't buy me." Dagur realizes this metal being has no price, so he goes for a different tactic, psychological warfare.
Dagur says to him: "You're probably right. A person who cannot be bought, but I'm sure it's hard for you. Being the runt of the litter, you probably have it hard when people…look down at you." Rattrap thinks for a moment. "Yeah, not much respect nor treated as an equal. I bet that must sting." Rattrap sees what he's doing trying to hurt his ego, but he plays along and replies: "You know what you're right. I work my tail off and do I get any appreciation? No! Do I get a job well done or congratulations? No! So you got a deal, I'll work for ya." The two shake hands signifying the agreement.
Back at the Edge Hiccup rode on Toothless and lands, then he asks: "Anything?" To which Astrid as she her dragon next to Snotlout and his dragon along with Silverbolt and Cheetor in beast mode, Astrid says: "I checked the clubhouse, your hut even the stables. He's not there." Fishlegs and the twins on their dragons lands too, along with Airazor and Optimus Primal in robot mode. Fishlegs says regarding the scenery: "Nothing else is on fire around here, so he must be gone." Hiccup says to the team: "Well we have to find him." To which Tuffnut rubs his chin questioning: "Or do we?" Snotlout also questions: "Yeah, why are we worried? Shouldn't we be celebrating the fact he's gone." Cheetor questions: "Wow you say that about Gustav? That's deep freeze cold." He spoke thinking their lack of sympathy for the youngest member.
Hiccup says regarding this: "Cheetor is right, that is cold. We need to make sure he's safe. He wouldn't just run off for no reason. Except all the things I said to him yesterday." He spoke realizing this and regretting his words. Silverbolt speaks regarding Hiccup's pour choice of words: "Well with what you said to him, Hiccup I'm not surprised." To which Hiccup questions: "What? You're still on his side?" Silverbolt answers him: "You should have at least given him a chance. He's only 16 years old, he's still trying to find his place in the world." Optimus Primal adds: "And we didn't tell him the rules of the Edge. If anything, that's our fault on our end. Well regardless, we need to find him before he gets himself hurt or killed like before."
Ruffnut comes up with a suggestion: "Well we could ask Fanghook." The female twin spoke then the muscular Viking questions: "And Ruffnut, how do you suppose we do that?" To which she simply answers: "Turn around." To which Snotlout does turn around and Fanghook comes swooping in.
Toothless rushes to him, then Tuffnut steps in front of Fanghook and asks him like a dog: "Fanghook, where's Gustav boy? Where's Gustav?" But the dragon doesn't respond nor even makes body signals. "Ah! He's not talking you guys. He's completely shut down." Unknown to him Fanghook has a not on one of his horns, Hiccup says to the dragons in a clam tone: "Hey, hey Fanghook, it's okay. Easy boy, easy." He walks up to the monstrous nightmare, "He doesn't loom injured." Fishlegs states: "But he does look upset. You guys, look!" He sees and points to the note, Hiccup removes it from the horn and reads it, saying "Dagur, he wants to make a trade. The Dragon Eye for Gustav and Rattrap." Optimus questions: "They're have Rattrap too? This just confirms that not only one of your own is captured but one of my own." He realizes the seriousness of the situation.
With that Hiccup loading the Dragon Eye in a satchel with the other Dragon Riders walking up, Astrid asks him: "I don't like this Hiccup." She expresses her concerns, to which Hiccup answers: "Well we have no choice." Tuffnut questions his leader: "Are you sure we have no choice? Like none, zip, zilch?" Hiccup still feeling guilty says: "This is all my fault anyway." He states as Tuffnut spoke in a foreign language of saying none. "I never even gave the kid a chance." Tuffnut continues to speak in foreign language. "Tuff that's really not helping at all." Tuffnut simply replies: "Yeah…" Hiccup holding the Dragon Eye speaks: "If I was so busy tinkering with this thing, I don't know, maybe I could've kept him busy." He stated his duty as a chief's son.
Fishlegs disagreeably says: "Yeah, no body can keep Gustav busy." Astrid walks up to Hiccup and says to him: "At least let us back you up out there." But Hiccup replies: "Dagur was very clear, I have to come alone. We don't know what he'll do to Gustav or Rattrap, if I don't follow his demands to the letter. No we can't risk it." Then Optimus Primal in robot mode steps foward and says: "I'm coming with you. Since Rattrap's being held a prisoner, it's only fair I must go to rescue him to." The team looks at their leaders, Hiccup reassure them: "We'll be careful. I promise." To which Hiccup on Toothless flies as well with Optimus Primal in robot mode flying beside Hiccup along with Fanghook.
In the mirky-waters where the ship graveyard is, the only ship intact is Dagur's ship, Savage looks up to see Hiccup, Toothless, Optimus Primal and Fanghook, he exclaims: "There they are!" The Dragon Rider, two Dragons and Maximal leader lands on the ship.
Gustav exclaims in joy: "Fanghook!" He rushes to his dragon, to which they embrace in a hug. "I missed you bud." Dagur feeling sympathetic says: "Aw. Dragon and Dragon Rider love. Makes me wanna hurl." He exclaims in disgust to which Toothless growls at him, but Hiccup steadies him. Optimus Primal says regarding to the Berserker leader: "You must be Dagur, Hiccup's told me about." To which he replies: "Indeed I am. And I know a little about you Optimus Primal. A little mouse spoke of you." To that end, he snaps his fingers and Rattrap is brought to the deck in chains, Optimus exclaims: "Rattrap?!" The Maximal rodent replies: "I'm sorry, boss monkey. They got me." He spoke feeling captured held against his will.
The Viking prince, Maximal leader and Night Fury looks around to see numerous of Berserker warriors all over ready to pounce. As Toothless growls, Hiccup acknowledges: "Yeah I see em bud. Gustav are you okay?" He asks the boy who nodes yes, Dagur walks up and purposely pushes him aside. "That's close enough Dagur." He said to Dagur, to which he replies: "Ho, wow. Where's the trust? After all we've been through together?" Hiccup just stares with an angry look as does Optimus. "Oh! Nothing? No hiccupy barbs, quips, snappy comebacks? But I always loved those. We've developed a nice short hand you and I." He spoke as if the painful memories of being outwitted and back talk were a happy memory.
Optimus Primal speaks: "Enough! We've, we come unarmed. You requested the Dragon Eye and we're willing to trade it for Gustave and Rattrap's safety. We will give you it in exchange, this is not negotiable." He stated the willingness to relinquish an object for two comrades. Hiccup adds: "Optimus is right. Just send them over." To which Dagur argues: "You first!" This was now a stand off. "You have no choice. One false move and my men will take out you, the night fury, the kid, the oversize rat and the metal monkey. So roll it over, and I'll let em go." Hiccup looks at Gustav who nods yes. But Rattrap protests: "Yo, fearless leaders! Whatever you do, don't give it to HIM! There's no telling what he could use that dragon knowledge for!" A axe is placed under his chin.
Dagur threatens: "One more squeak out of you rodent and we'll turn you to scrap metal." He threatens, Hiccup dismounts pulls out the Dragon Eye and rolls it to Dagur, who stops it with his foot, then picks it up. "Oh, it is one beautiful artifact. And I hear it be very useful for one who possess it? Is that true?" Hiccup says to boy: "Gustav let's go." Optimus Primal adds: "Agreed, and hand over Rattrap. We kept our end you must honor yours."
To that Gustav says to them, as he rubs the back of the head: "Yeah about that. Hiccup, I've been treated much better by these guys than I ever was treaded by you and the other Dragon Riders and some of the Maximals. I mean Tigertron was ok with teaching me about the circle of life thing. And I was very appreciative when Silverbolt, Dinobot and Cheetor vouched for me. And I'm very grateful that Rattrap came with me." Dagur chuckles and says: "The plot thickens." This shocked the prince and Optimus. Hiccup says to him: "Gustav."
But the boy speak still feeling hurt as his arms were crossed: "You could've given me a chance you know. But all you did was tell I wasn't good enough. Told me I didn't belong. Well I belong here." The Maximal leader says to the boy: "Gustav you have every right to be upset. But we can work something out…" then a gun cock noise is made and Rattrap says to him: "Not so fast!" They turn to see Rattrap freed and the guards who purposely let him go, this shocked and confused Optimus who speaks: "Rattrap? What are you…?"
To which he answers to his former leader: "For years I worked my butt off but no one ever takes me seriously because of my size." Optimus was confused because he's always been understood and no body made fun of his size. Unknown to either Hiccup, Dagur or Gustav, Rattrap winks at Optimus signifying he hasn't turned at all. This means to Optimus he is playing the bad guys.
Hiccup tries to warn the boy: "Gustav, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into." But Gustav ignores his prince's warnings: "Oh yes I do Hiccup. I know exactly what I am doing." Dagur mockingly says regarding this conversation: "Awkward. Well I say your work here is finished brother. Ordinary this is where I double cross you and fill you full of arrows." He spoke as he walks towards Gustav and Rattrap. "But the kid's squeamish, he made me promise to let you go. And in return he's gonna take me to a treasure." Gustav adds: "That's right Hiccup, we got the Dragon Eye and Fanghook's fire. You know what that means." He was dropping hints, "untold treasure awaits." Rattrap finishes: "Yeah, I'm not into the treasure but I will come along for the ride." He finishes what he's doing.
Optimus Primal says to Hiccup: "Gustav and Rattrap had made their choices. We must honor them for it." With that Hiccup mounts on Toothless, but before they leave Hiccup still warns him: "You're gonna regret this." To which Gustav confidently says: "I don't think so, Hiccup." The Maximal rat says: "By the way, kiss my shiny metal butt, former boss monkey." He spoke insulting his former leader. The three flies off the ship into the air, Rattrap and Gustav are thrilled, Gustav even still treats his dragon like a puppy wanting belly scratches.
Dagur and Savage watches, and the Berserker chief says to his second-in-command: "You know, I actually gonna feel bad about when I kill this kid." Savage says to him: "Well I get that. But what about the other one?" Dagur feeling no sympathy for Rattrap: "As for him. After we have the treasure, he'll outlive his usefulness. Be ready to take him down, strip him for scrap metal and spare parts." Savage with a wicked smirk says: "With pleasure."
On the unstable island the ship makes it to shore and lands. As the crew dismounts off the ship, standing in front of the cave entrance, Gustav says regarding the cave entrance: "This is it." Dagur walks up to him and asks: "Why are we stopping?" To which the boy answers: "No reason. I was just kinda impressed that you trusted your men enough show them exactly where the treasure is hidden. (Under voice) When there's so much of it." Rattrap adds: "Yeah a lot. But who knows what happens when they'll see it? We know how greed can make people do stupid things." He points out the flaw of letting his own men see the treasure and what would happen.
With the boy, maximal and dragon takes a few steps forward, Dagur orders his men including Savage: "Stay here!" The Second-in-command questions: "Why?" Dagur turns around and tries to come up with an answers but them by yells: "Oh, gee, I don't know. BECAUSE I SAID SO!" He continues onwards adn Savage complying: "Good idea sir, we'll stay right here." He spoke as he chipper arm swing.
The Berserker chief gives the Drago Eye to Gustav who asks for his dragon for assistance: "Fanghook, a slow burn." To which the dragon breath fire in his mouth and a hologram projection of the map appears on the stone wall. Dagur says regarding the Dragon Eye's ability: "Ah! I see. You've out did yourself Hiccup. I love this thing." Rattrap speaks of the Dragon Eye: "Yeah, its a primitive yet interesting piece of ingenuity. I'm surprised your civilization was able to create some this advanced, out of hand tools, and animal skins." He spoke of the significant of the Dragon Eye despite being made by a primitive civilization.
They entered the cave and felt a tremor, Dagur with a worried tone asks: "Does that happen here a lot?" Gustav replies: "You'll get use to it." The Maximal rodent to reassure Dagur: "No need to worry Dagur. It's just old man island trying to show us who's the boss." They press on Dagur mutters "who's the boss".
The two humans, dragon and Maximal still follow the path, Dagur growing impatient asks: "Are we there yet?" To which the boy answers: "We're close. Very close." Dagur changing his attitude and expression: "Good. That's what I like to hear." But then Dagur sneaks up from behind but Gustav shines the Dragon Eye into Dagur's eyes, temporarily blinding him. As Gustav runs, Rattrap says as Dagur's eye's regain vision: "Yo muscles and crazy for brains. I know you can fight berserk. But when you dealing with a rat, we fight dirty!" To that Dagur punches Rattrap's face but it didn't hurt the Maximal but it sure did hurt Dagur's hand.
The Maximal rodent chuckles and says: "Heheheh. My turn." To which he kicks Dagur in the stomach, punches him in the ribcage, does a pile-driver pins him down on the ground and backward bends his legs, and when Dagur gets up again and makes a pour fighting stance, Rattrap punches him directly into the groins, Dagur exclaims in pain and in the form of yodeling: "YODEL-HAIE-HO!" Rattrap then retreats to find Gustav, Dagur still blurry and in pain gets up and walks to find them, "Come out, come out wherever you are! Ah!" But then the ground begins to split open.
The Berserker leader looks to see behind a large stalagmite with a dim yet still bright enough to see yellow orange-ish glow. Gustav and Rattrap hid behind it, Gustav trying to block the light and Rattrap ready with his weapon. Dagur tip-toes his way to them then he pops in front of them and says: "Gottcha!" To which Optimus Primal's voice says: "No." He turns to see Hiccup on Toothless in between Fanghook, and Optimus Primal, Hiccup says: "We've got you. Good work Gustav, you two Rattrap." Optimus Primal adds to the compliment: "Seriously you had us fooled. If anything you two are born actors." The Viking boy and Maximal rat gives a small smile and thumbs up.
Hiccup says to Dagur: "Ho what's the matter Dagur? No barbs, no comebacks, I thought we had a short hand. People love that stuff." He mockingly repeats the same insult Dagur made.
Dagur grabs the Dragon Eye and swings Gustav to Hiccup, the dragons and Optimus. He has the Dragon Eye in his hand, "Dagur, you hand over the Dragon Eye." To which he replies: "I don't think so." But the Viking prince reiterates: "I'm not asking." To that Toothless and Optimus even Rattrap shoots towards Dagur's feet mainly at the ground, opening a deep hole. Dagur says at the hole unafraid: "Ho, it's a long way down." They continue to fire but he continues to dodge their attacks, Hiccup tries to appeal to him: "Dagur, you got nowhere to go." Rattrap adds to this conversation: "Yeah, think this through. You're crazy but that's stupid." Optimus Primal finishes: "They're right, it's over." Dagur questions: "It's over?" He holds the Dragon Eye upside down over the hole and purposely drops it. "Oops." Gustav jumps into the hole to retrieve it, Hiccup yells: "Gustav!" Hiccup, Toothless jumps into the hole as well, while Dagur laughs as he makes his escape.
As the young boy falls he sees the Dragon Eye falling he dives to retrieve it and grabs it, he yells: "Hiccup!" The Viking prince and Night Fury they dive down further, Hiccup grabs him then hoist him onto Toothless, and says to him: "Ok, we got you Gustav, now let's get out of here." They fly upward to the surface but a large bolder falls hitting Toothless' wing knocking off.
They all fall, Toothless struggles to fly, so Hiccup dives down and remounts him and then they stop in the nick of time. "I have to come up with something in case that happens to us again." As for Gustav he too almost hit the ground but Fanghook swoops and rescues his rider. Then Optimus Primal in robot mode with Rattrap in beast mode on Optimus' back. They see the place still shaking, Rattrap says: "we need to get the heck out of here! This place is falling apart!" The Monstrous Nightmare with his rider leads the way to another hole, they fly in deeper, into another cave just in the nick of time.
Hiccup asks the others: "You guys okay?" To which Gustav says: "Yeah. Hiccup I'm am really sorry." To which Hiccup apologizes too: "I'm sorry too Gustav." The place is still shaking. "You're still irresponsible and immature and reckless. But the way you handle yourself with Dagur, maybe you do have what it takes to be a Dragon Rider. Someday." To which he replies: "Someday? I will take someday!" Then He then turns to Rattrap and says to him: "And Rattrap thanks for watching out for him." To which the Maximal rodent replies: "Eh, sure. The kid needed back up anyway. I just had to make sure he made it back home." The cave continues to shake, Hiccup asks: "Why do you say we find a way our of here?" Optimus Primal replies: "You got no argument from me." When Fanghook moves out of the way Hiccup, Optimus and Rattrap notice what appears to be a Cybertronian Knight, holding two objects in his arms, one being a small chest and another object the other appears to be a metal box and in his other hand is a sword as if he's ready to defend with his life.
Hiccup dismounts off his dragon, walks to the deceased Cybertronian, Hicxup asks regarding it: "What is it? A dead warrior?" To which Optimus Primal answers: "It appears to be a Cybertronian Knight. But what is a dead warrior from Cybertron doing on earth?" Then Rattrap asks: "Who cares?! Let's just get going before we end up, like this guy." Hiccup still curious asks: "Even so. Why would he be holding a chest and a metal box so closely to him?" Hiccup picks up and opens the box and chest and discovers what's in them, and asks: "(Gasp) What in the Thor…" before he could finish his sentence the cave shakes so he puts the chest and box on Toothless mounts on him and all three flies off.
After returning to the Edge with Gustav, Fanghook and Rattrap. Astrid is to first to apologize, but he stops her by putting his finger on her lips and says: "Uhuhu. Stop right there sweets. I can't stay, my mom would kill me. She usually notice after I've been gone for three days." He removes his hand from Astrid and mounts on his dragon. "Alright Fanghook, let's go." They take to the air and fly off heading back to Berk. "Take care babe! Gustav will be back soon…!"
Hiccup opens the chest, then Astrid asks: "What's that?" To which he answers: "Ho, just some we found at the bottom of that cave." He reveals a lens, this excites Fishlegs and says: "Ah! A new lens!" Hiccup speaks again: "There's was treasure in those caves after all. And there was apparently a Cybertronian warrior guarding it and this metal box." Ruffnut asks: "Well? What's in the box?" Cheetor adds: "Yeah and why was he trying to protect it?"
Hiccup opens it and reveals it, which appears a long piece of metal, the Vikings were confused, but the Maximals knew it, Tigertron says: "By the Matrix." Dinobot in disbelief says: "It cannot be!" Blackarachnia finishes: "We thought they were all destroyed of lost." The Maximals were in disbelief of it.
Snotlout questions: "Can somebody please explain to me why you guys are so freaked out about?" He sounded frustrated and confused, Optimus Primal answers: "It's one of the omega keys. One of the ancient relics of Cybertron. But we thought they were either destroyed or loss to the cosmos. But this would explain why the Knight was on earth in the first place." Hiccup finishes: "Yeah, the Dragon Eye was giving us clues on how to find it all along. We were just looking in the right place." Fishlegs adds putting it together: "And if there's one of these out there. Then there's have to be more." He screeches in excitement, and Rhinox adds: "This also means if the relics of Cybertron are on earth then they must be scattered all over." Astrid speaks regarding how they could've found it: "And to think, we never would've found them without Gustav." Nightscream finishes: "Yeah, for a pain in the neck, he does have some qualities." They realize they underestimated him.
Hiccup says: "Oh awesome. Let's just tell Gustav." They all protest against the idea thinking he's too much for them to handle. They all turn around and wave to Gustav goodbye, as he and Fanghook flies into the sky.
Here is another RTTE Chapter, and you'll notice something different in this chapter. Also to "Guest", don't worry I have no intentions to make Alex a human Cybertroian hybrid, I'll save that for Sari Sumdac when I'm done in the Nine Realms.
Also I did bit of National Treasures scenario in this chapter regarding knight. So leave a comment, and idea in the review.
