As Mina and Izuku continued their journey into parenthood, the excitement and anticipation only grew. Mina's pregnancy progressed, and they found themselves making plans for the arrival of their baby girl. They decided to create a superhero-themed nursery, complete with colorful decorations and nods to both of their quirks.
The couple also attended prenatal classes together, learning about the various stages of pregnancy and gaining valuable parenting skills. Recovery Girl, with her wealth of experience, provided them with guidance and support, ensuring Mina's health and the well-being of their unborn child.
Mina hummed a soft tune as she dipped her paintbrush into a mix of vibrant colors, it was the weekend, Izuku was finished with his duties around the city and got back home.
As soon as the door opened, Mina knew who it was. Izuku smiled and went straight upstairs, she saw Mina painting the walls, it was very vibrant with a combination of One for All and Acid Attacks which the room brought up the room very nicely, the combination of pink and green fit the style.
"Whoa..." Izuku stated.
Mina looked up from her painting, a wide grin spreading across her face as she saw Izuku's reaction. "Like it, Deku? I thought we needed a bit of hero flair for our baby." She smiled holding her stomach.
Izuku's eyes sparkled with delight and walked towards her, hugging her softly and kissing her passionately, and then kissing her stomach under her apron.
"It's amazing, Mina! You turned this room into a work of art. Our daughter is going to love it."
Mina playfully dipped her paintbrush in green and added a swirl to Izuku's cheek. "She's going to be a fan of this color, just like her mom!" She blushed and narrowed her eyes romantically.
Izuku chuckled, wiping off the paint. "I can't wait to see her reaction to all of this. You've made it perfect, Mina."
As Mina continued her artistic endeavors, Izuku gently took the paintbrush from her hand. "You've been at this all morning. How about you take a break? I'll finish up here, and then I'll make us some breakfast. What do you say?"
Mina grinned, appreciating his thoughtfulness. "You're my hero, Deku. Breakfast sounds amazing, I kind of rushed to this before anything else." She giggled.
While Izuku prepared breakfast, Mina lounged on the sofa, stretching her legs. "So, any thoughts on what to name our little hero?" she asked, teasingly.
Izuku paused, stirring pancake batter. "Hmm, I was thinking of something that reflects both of our worlds. How about 'Cynthia'?"
Mina laughed, "Not bad, Deku. But let's keep brainstorming. We have time, after all."
They enjoyed a cozy breakfast together, talking about their childhoods and what kind of quirks their baby might inherit. Izuku mused, "Imagine if she gets a combination of acid and One For All. She'd be a powerhouse!"
"Yeah, she'll be too OP for anyone to handle!" Mina stated, putting her fist to the air. She then kissed him deeply which made him flare up. They continued eating their breakfast, and with each passing day, her stomach got bigger, awaiting the day when their vibrant world would welcome the newest member of their family.
As Mina's due date approached, Ochako and Tsuyu decided to plan a surprise baby shower for their dear friend. The two heroines secretly met at a cozy cafe to discuss the details.
Ochako, sipping her tea, couldn't contain her excitement. "I can't believe Mina's going to be a mom! We need to make this baby shower unforgettable."
Tsuyu nodded, her eyes gleaming with enthusiasm. "Ribbit. We should incorporate their quirks and personalities into the decorations. Maybe something like a hero obstacle course for games?"
Ochako grinned. "Great idea! And we can have a 'Quirk or Dare' game. It'll be hilarious to see everyone trying to mimic Mina's acid quirk or Izuku's One For All!"
They spent the afternoon brainstorming ideas and jotting down plans for decorations, games, and a superhero-themed cake. Ochako couldn't resist adding, "And we need to get Recovery Girl involved. She's practically family."
Tsuyu chuckled. "Ribbit. I'm sure Mina will love the surprise. Let's make this the best baby shower ever."
The day of the baby shower arrived, and Mina was genuinely surprised when Ochako and Tsuyu whisked her away under the pretense of a casual outing.
As they entered a beautifully decorated venue, Mina's eyes widened with delight. Streamers in shades of pink and green adorned the room, hero symbols, and baby onesies hung from the walls, and a vibrant cake with a mini hero family stood at the center.
"Surprise!" The room echoed with cheers as friends, classmates, and fellow heroes gathered to celebrate the impending arrival of Mina and Izuku's baby.
Mina's eyes welled up with happy tears as Ochako hugged her. "We wanted to make this day special for you, Mina."
Tsuyu added with a grin, "And we made sure there's an obstacle course, just like we planned."
As the celebration unfolded, Mina reveled in the love and joy surrounding her, with Midoyria by her side, the couple enjoyed every moment of the baby shower. They played games, exchanged parenting tips, and received thoughtful gifts from their friends. Recovery Girl, who had been in on the surprise, also attended the event, providing her usual warmth and guidance.
As the baby shower came to an end, Mina couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support surrounding her. She hugged Ochako and Tsuyu tightly, thanking them for the unforgettable celebration.
Back at home, Mina and Izuku spent the evening going through the gifts and cards they received. Each item was a testament to the friendships they had forged during their time at U.A. High and their journey as heroes. The nursery, already a masterpiece, now had a personal touch with the gifts and well-wishes from their friends.
"That was such an amazing party," Mina sighed.
Izuku nodded, holding a tiny onesie with hero symbols. "Our friends really know how to make a celebration memorable. And look at this, Mina, it's like the whole hero community came together and gave us so many gifts"
Mina smiled, running her fingers over a handmade blanket. "I can't believe how lucky we are to have such incredible friends. And the baby shower was just perfect – the games, the decorations, everything. Our daughter is going to have quite the entrance into the world."
"Yeah, all because of all the special nights together." Midoyria smiled, and Mina's cheeks turned bright red.
"You knocked me up and splatted your sperm in me." Mina winked grabbing his hand.
Midoyria nodded and smiled, he was going to be a father, she was going to be a mother."
He wanted to change the subject so it doesn't get too heated, he chuckled. "She's already a mini-celebrity with the way everyone is excited about her arrival. I'm so glad we have such a supportive community around us."
"Uh-huh. But we still need to think of a name for her."
Izuku nodded, setting the tiny onesie aside. "You're right. We've got a room full of gifts, but we're still undecided on the most important one – her name."
Mina leaned back on the sofa, deep in thought. "I want it to be something special, something that represents both of us. Cynthia is nice, but let's explore more options."
They spent several minutes thinking of names, and brainstorming. Mina sighed.
"Welp I can't think of any names," Mina stated.
"Me too." Izuku sighed.
"I'm sure we can come up with names, we just need more time." Mina shrugged.
As they continued to chat, Mina suddenly felt a gentle kick from her baby bump. She paused, a hand on her stomach, and grinned.
"Izuku, she's kicking again! Feel this!" Mina excitedly grabbed Izuku's hand and placed it on her belly.
Izuku's eyes widened with amazement as he felt the subtle movements beneath his palm. "Wow, she's already showing off her quirks in there. Our little hero in the making."
"Maybe she wants to be a part of the conversation of giving her a name. Don't you..." Mina cooed, looking down at her stomach, feeling a soft kick again.
Mina blushed, she was so happy to be a mother, never did she think she was going to be one, Izuku smiled and kissed up forehead.
Mina and Izuku cherished every moment with their baby, knowing that their journey was about to take an even more thrilling turn.
