Authors Note: If everyone who thinks I'm making too many spoilers then I'm sorry. But hey many of us have seen the movies so it's no surprise some of you know what's gonna happen. Also I'm thinking of letting Naruto give his harem longer lifespans like his. But much later.

Chapter 5. Gathering Information

Dex's Diner

Hours after Naruto and Tsunade left Coruscant with Anakin, Padme, and R2-D2, Hinata followed Obi-Wan to a diner. One that she's quite familiar with since she and her team went there for dinner once. And Naruto made a good impression on the owner of said diner.

A droid, upon noticing them, called out to the kitchen "Someone to see you, Honey! Jedi, by the looks of him. And a familiar face."

The owner, a Basilisk named Dex, saw who it was and greeted the two with a smile "Obi-Wan! And Miss Hinata!"

"Hello, Dex." Obi-Wan said returning his smile with his own.

"It's nice to see you again, Mister Dex." Hinata said in a respectful manor.

"Oh 'nuff that 'Mister' nonsense little missy." Dex said waving off her formalities before saying "Take a seat. I'll be right with the both of ya.

As the two say down at booth, Obi-Wan turned to Hinata and asked "How is it that you know Dex?"

"We came here to get something to eat while we waited for our ship to be repaired. We loved the food but, Naruto introduced Dex to a dish from our home. We were surprised to find ingredients to make it." Hinata answered.

The droid asked them "You two wanna cup o' jawa juice?"

"Oh, yes. Thank you." Obi-Wan said.

"Yes, please." Hinata said.

The two saw the pot belly Basilisk came out of the kitchen and said as he stretched out his arms "Hey, old buddy! And you too little missy!"

All three shared a hug until they separated and sat down. As soon as they were all situated Dex asked Hinata "So little missy, how's that blonde rascal doing?"

"Naruto's doing quite fine Dex. He and Tsunade took a job but I can't say more of it." Hinata said.

Despite being a cook and living civilian life, Dex knew that it had to do with the Jedi. So he just nodded and dropped. He said in gratitude "Well as soon as he gets back, tell him I said thanks for the recipe for that ramen stuff. Even the idea of making it with only vegetables."

"Ramen?" Obi-Wan asked having never heard of it.

"It's a delicacy from our home. Many people from back home love it. Especially Naruto since he's always been eating when we were kids." Hinata explained in fondness.

"And ever since I put it on the menu, many people have ordered it numerous times that I was certain we would run out." Dex said with a smile.

"Well I'll have to try it next time but, to the reason for why we're here." Obi-Wan said while pulling out the dart. He then asked "Can you tell us what this is?"

Upon seeing the dart, Dex said in surprise "Well, whattaya know! I ain't seen one of these since I was prospectin' on Subterrel, beyond the outer rim."

"Do you know where it originates from?" Hinata asked as the droid from before brought them their drinks. To which Obi-Wand said his thanks.

"This baby belongs to them cloners. What you two got here is a Kamino saberdart." Dex informs the two.

Obi-Wan then says curiously "I wonder why it didn't show up in the analysis archives."

"It's the funny little cuts on the side that give it away. Those analysis droid only focus on symbols. Huh!" Dex said before continuing humorously "I should think that you Jedi would have more respect for the difference between knowledge and wisdom."

"Well, if droids could think, there'd be none of us here, would there?" Obi-Wan asked humorously.

"I'll have you know that droids are living beings like us, Obi-Wan. Just because they were created doesn't mean they aren't alive. After all there are people who actually care for the wellbeing of their droids." Hinata said as she took a sip from her Jawa juice.

Both men gave her a surprised look before Dex chuckled and said "Oh I like you, little missy. No wonder I called Naruto a luck Son of a Gundark."

"That's an interesting viewpoint Lady Hinata." Obi-Wan commented before saying "Kamino. I'm not familiar with it. Is it in the Republic?"

Dex answers "No, no. It's beyond the Outer Rim. I'd say about, uh, 12 parsecs outside the Rishi Maze. Should be easy to find, even for those droids in your archives." As he takes a swig of his drink, he says "These, uh, Kaminoans keep to themselves. They're cloners. Damn good ones too."

"Cloners. Are they friendly?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Oh, depends." Dex answered.

"Depends on what, Dex?"

"On how good your manners are and how big your, uh, pocketbook is." the basilisk says with a chuckle.

Both ninja and Jedi looked at each other before getting up and leaving after paying for their drinks and saying their farewells.

Jedi Archives

Obi-Wan and Hinata were in Jedi archives trying to find out more about Kamino but their search is drawing up blanks.

The reason why Hinata was granted access was because Obi-Wan vouched for her. So long as she didn't go poking about then there wouldn't be any problems.

Obi-Wan was staring at the bust of his deceased master, Qui Gon Jinn. Which Hinata was informed of when she asked him who he was.

An elderly woman came up to the two and asked "Did you call for assistance?"

"Yes, yes, I did." Obi-Wan said.

The elder then took notice of Hinata and said curiously "Strange that I have never seen you here before. Might I ask your name, my dear?"

"My name is Hinata Hyuga, madam. And I'm not part of the Order." Hinata admitted.

The elder turned to Obi-Wan who explained "I assure, Master Jocasta, Lady Hinata can be trusted. I'm on an assignment that requires her skills."

The Jedi Master, Jocasta, was quiet for a moment before she nods her head in acceptance before asking "Very well. Now, are you having a problem, Master Kenobi?"

"Yes, um, I'm looking for a planetary system called Kamino." Obi-Wan answers as he leads her over to a computer. He then says "It doesn't show up on the archive charts."

"Kamino. Kamino. It's not a system I'm familiar with." Jocasta said before asking "Are you sure you have the right coordinates?"

"According to my information, it should appear in this quadrant here, just south of the Rishi Maze." Obi-Wan said as he indicates to an area on the star chart.

As they were talking, Hinata heard the grunting of a child. Looking behind her she saw a human youngling trying to reach for a data pad a shelf that was too high for her.

With a smile forming on her face, Hinata goes over to her. She then reaches for the data pad and pulls it off the shelf. Then she kneels down and hands it to her.

"There you go sweetie." Hinata says in a motherly tone. Which isn't surprising since she was a mother.

"Thank you, Master." the little girl said with a bow and a smile.

"Oh, you don't have to call me Master. I'm not a Jedi. My names Hinata Hyuga." the former Hyuga heiress said before asking "What is your name?"

"Alyssia Korrin. And if you're not a Jedi, then why are you in the temple?" the girl Alyssia asked with innocent curiosity.

"Well I can't tell you that but I'll be leaving soon." Hinata said gently.

"Will I see you again?" Alyssia asked.

"Someday you might but, for now it's best you head off. I've taken up enough of your time." Hinata said as she got back up.

"Ok. Bye Ms Hinata." Alyssia said as she left with the data pad.

Goodbye Alyssia. Be good." Hinata said in kind. The last part was a reflex because of her maternal instincts.

Hinata and the others were already aware of the Jedi bringing children into their Order but, she still didn't like it as children should be with their parents.

Not that she's one to talk as she and everyone from her generation became ninja at the age of twelve but, the difference being is that they had a choice. The children in the temple didn't ask to be brought here to be Jedi.

She went back to Obi-Wan. Which was perfect timing since he got up and was ready to leave.

She asked "Did you find out anything about Kamino?"

"None I'm afraid. Apparently it doesn't exist. Which doesn't make sense." Obi-Wan said as they walked out of the library.

Hinata was quiet as she pondered this information. She won't claim to know about these archives but, she doubted Dex would send them on a wild goose chase.

Meanwhile onboard the Maelstrom

As the ship was in transit to Naboo, Anakin, Padme, and Artoo were the mess. Naruto decided to be a good host and fix them something to eat.

He made a stew that neither heard of. At first they didn't know if it was edible but they didn't want to come off as rude so they tried it. And the moment it hit their tongues, both grew to love it.

Which of course made Tsunade smirk as she shook her head. "And now we have two more." she said in good humor.

"Mmm, this is quite delicious. What is this dish called?" Padme asked as she made to bring more to her lips.

"Ramen. One of the many delicacies from back home." Naruto said with pride in his voice. While he did find the food in this universe to be quite delicious, his favorite dish will always be ramen.

Thankfully he managed to find some ingredients to make the dish. Granted they may have been different but the results were nonetheless satisfying.

When he heard how Dex was making a killing by adding ramen to his menu, he couldn't help but pray in gratitude to whatever deity was listening. This of course made his wives roll their eyes at his antics. Still they were also happy to be trying the food from their home.

"I have to admit this is great. You are a good cook." Anakin commented as he ate his food.

"I wouldn't say that. To be honest the best cook on our crew is Hinata. And she'd tell you that." Naruto said. While he accepted the praise, he wasn't gonna take being called a good cook. That right belonged to Hinata. He always loved her food. Especially since that time they, along with Kiba and Akamaru, went on a mission together.

"Seriously, Hinata, you're gonna make someone one heck of a wife." Naruto still remembered those words. Who knew how right he was?

"Please, tell me Naruto. Your home planet. What is it like?" Padme asked.

"Well it's split up into different continents. Hinata, Tsunade, and myself are from a continent called the Elemental Nations. We have the ability to use a type of power called Chakra. With we can use it for combat and healing." Naruto said.

"And what was that ability you used? The one where you disappeared and reappeared in the Council Chamber and the apartments." Anakin asked curiously.

"That is my dad's jutsu. I'll spare you the details but with it I can teleport myself, people, or objects to anywhere that has a marker." Naruto explained.

"Marker?" Anakin asked.

"The communicator I gave you guys had a marker on it. You couldn't see it because of how small it was. I can apply it to anyone or anything." Naruto said.

"An ability like that would make traveling a lot more safer." Padme surmised.

"True but it'll only work for places that market is placed. And I have no idea if I can use it to teleport people from a planet to a ship in space. Or vice versa." Naruto explained. He would have to see if he can do that later.

"And what is the name of your home planet?" Padme asked.

"It's called Earth." Tsunade answered before continuing "And we would appreciate if you kept this information to yourself."

"But why?" Padme asked in curiosity.

"Look, we know you mean well but we don't want people knowing about us anymore than we are willing to allow. Our people are oblivious to what lies beyond our world. Just as much as you guys are and we would like to keep it that way. We've through many calamities and there many people who like us can use chakra but many of them are criminals. And we don't want any corrupt officials from our home getting their hands on weapons like blasters and such. We're already dangerous with our chakra. Can you imagine the casualties if villains back home got ahold of a blasters?" Naruto asked while explaining his reason to remain anonymous as possible.

"And there's also the criminal element that exists among the Republic. As Naruto said, we already have our own problems with the criminals of our planet. No need to add more by trying to find our home." Tsunade said. Granted they knew their planet will not be found because it exists in another universe. But that didn't mean they were gonna reveal all their secrets.

While she still believed their people would benefit from allying with the Republic, Padme chose to honor their wishes.

"I promise." Padme says with the truth in her eyes.

With that everyone finished their meals and went about their own business. Naruto saw Anakin socializing with Padme. He didn't want to listen on their conversation but he could tell the guy had it bad for the Senator.

'Here's hoping you two get together kid.' Naruto thought as he went to the cockpit. He never understood why Jedi chose to not marry but he wasn't gonna try and change them.

But if Anakin does choose to leave the Order then he'll have a place on his crew if he wants.

Back on Coruscant in the Jedi Temple

Obi-Wan, with Hinata still with him, was heading off to meet with Grand Master Yoda. From what Naruto told her, the small Jedi was the leader of the Order. And the most powerful too.

When they arrived at a room, they saw Yoda instructing some younglings into blocking blaster bolts with some training droids. Though the setting was low so as to not harm the children. Which Hinata was happy about. Otherwise she was gonna go full mother mode.

Upon noticing their arrival, Yoda tapped his cane and said " Younglings. Younglings! Visitors we have."

All of the younglings pushed their training helmets up and said "Hello, Master's"

"Hello." Obi-Wan said before bringing his acquaintance forward "Allow me to introduce you all to Hinata Hyuga. She's my new friend."

Hinata stepped forward and said kindly "Hello, children. And you don't have to call me Master. I'm not a Jedi."

"Jedi you may not be but welcomed you are to our temple Lady Hinata." Yoda said in greeting while giving her respectful bow. One that she also returned.

"You must be Grand Master Yoda. I'm honored to meet you." Hinata says with respect. In a way it was like standing in front of the Third Hokage.

"Mine the honor is. Now what can I help both, hmm?" Yoda asked politely.

"We are looking for a planet described to us by an old friend. I trust him, but the systems don't show in the archive maps." Obi-Wan explained.

"Mmm. Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has. How embarrassing. How embarrassing." Yoda says. Which in turn caused the younglings to giggle. He then turns to one of the younglings and says "Hmm? Liam, the shades."

The boy named Liam did as was told. Yoda then says "Gather around the map reader. Clear your minds and find Obi-Wan's wayward planet we will."

As the room was darkened, Obi-Wan placed a tiny sphere on a tiny pedestal. It then shined until it projected holographic stars.

'The level of technology this universe has is amazing.' Hinata thought as she saw the many stars and planets.

Obi-Wan then point at a blank spot in the projection and said "It ought to be here, but it isn't. Gravity is pulling all the stars in the area towards this spot."

"Hmm. Gravity silhouette remains, but the star and all the planet, disappeared they have." Yoda says before asking How can this be? Hmm? A thought? Anyone?"

One of the children answered. "Master? Because someone erased it from the archive memory."

Yoda chuckles before saying "Truly wonderful the mind of a child is." He then addresses the two "The Padawan is right. Go to the center of gravity's pull and find your planet you will."

With that, all three walked away from the younglings. Yoda then said "Hmm. The data must've been erased."

"Buts, Master Yoda, who could empty information from the archives? That's impossible, isn't it?" Obi-Wan asked in confusion.

"Something tells me it had to be an inside job." Hinata said gaining the two Jedi's attentions.

"You're not thinking someone from our order would do such a thing, are you?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Hmm. Not wrong I fear she is not. Dangerous and disturbing this puzzle is." Yoda says as he continues "Only a Jedi could have erased those files. But who and why, harder to answer. Meditate on this I will. Hmm."

Obi-Wan and Hinata both bow before departing. Now that they know their heading it was high time they paid a visit to this missing planet.
