AN:
Samurai Seven: Yeah, I'm thinking of Lelouch's character development.
Alan Wake: I'm sure those people will, but for those that don't know him, it'd be a different story.
Chapter 88: Order
March 28th. 10:00AM.
Clara and Maya strutted into the dining car, where Tamaki shouted, "Suck it old man!" he stood triumphantly over a chess table as his opponent hung their head in defeat, "I'm the chess master!"
"Since when did that happen?" Maya muttered as they sat in a booth, meanwhile the Japanese man was celebrating his victory with other Black Knights.
"I have no idea. Though… don't you think this is a bit much?"
"He is being rowdy…" the black-haired girl muttered while smirking, "Hey… what do you think Zero would do?"
"Capital punishment?" the girls giggled at the suggestion, "Nah, we'd totally get in trouble for that."
"Right?" their quiet laughter continued until Tamaki approached with a confident smile, "Oh? What could the 'Chess Master' possibly want with us?"
"Ah. I see you're acknowledging my greatness." he responded while puffing out his chest, "Well… I was thinking, since this car clearly doesn't have anyone who can match my genius, why don't I challenge those within the Black Knights?"
"Trying to stroke your ego? Funny." Maya turned to Clara, "I don't play chess, so you got this."
"And what makes you think I do?"
"I dunno… I just don't want to play."
The pink-haired girl rolled her eyes as she was cheered on, "Fine. I'll face you, Tamaki."
"All right! I'm gonna make sure to crush you!"
The two sat across from the other as the board was set. With Clara in control of the white pieces, she made the first move with Pawn to E4, while Tamaki suspiciously mimicked her play with his own pawn. After a few more turns of trading moves, the girl eventually came to the realization that he didn't actually know how to play. "I mean… I don't know what I was expecting, but still… I thought he'd at least have some kind of knowledge about Chess."
"Booyah! I got your queen!"
"Booyah? Seriously?" Maya questioned with a blank stare.
"Checkmate." Clara added without hesitation as her bishop took Tamaki's Knight, pinning his king in a corner.
"No way!" the man stood in outrage, "You fucking cheated!"
"How can you cheat at chess, stupid?"
"Who cares how you did it!? The fact of the matter is… I know you cheated!"
"Prove it."
"Ah-ha! You just admitted you did it by asking for proof!"
"That means nothing."
"Exactly what a cheater would say." Tamaki looked under the table, and pulled out a bag, "I want a rematch, this time…" he emptied the contents, spilling checker pieces onto the table, "In checkers."
"Hey, watch it." Maya complained while picking some off the floor, "And isn't checker for kids?"
"Says who?"
Clara pointed at a table with two little kids playing the very game they were about to partake in, "That proves nothing." the Japanese man muttered while setting the board.
"Meh. Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck…"
"Then it could be a goose." Tamaki answered with mild annoyance, "Now… play me!"
The girl sighed before turning to her friend, "I'm too tired. You do it."
Maya giggled, "Don't tell me you're running away from a challenge."
"That only works if I'm proven a prideful person. Which… I'm not." Clara replied as the black-haired girl took a seat across from Tamaki.
"Hope you don't mind switching opponents." she humbly apologized while making the first move.
"It's fine. I'll crush anyone who faces off against me!"
The game went on for a few more turns as normal. It was a good back-and-forth due to Maya not being fully invested, it wasn't until Tamaki made a peculiar move, that she fully invested into the game. "Alright! Watch this!" the Japanese man rose his hand, drawing the attention of the Black Knights as he sneakily used his other hand to swipe one of Maya's pieces off the board, creating an opening for his piece to take three of hers. "Boom!"
"Woah!" the audience clapped their hands at his 'brilliance'.
Meanwhile, Clara and Maya gave him a blank stare as they witnessed everything, "Seriously? You'd have to be an old man to not see that?" she then glanced at the opponent Tamaki beat earlier, and gasped, "Wait a minute! That's how you won, scumbag!"
"Cheating against the elderly? Didn't think you'd stoop so low." Maya added while using a piece in the final row to take his.
"You have no proof."
"Hey… didn't you say…"
"Blah blah blah, I can't hear you!" Tamaki childishly responded while putting his fingers in his ears.
"Maybe this really is a game for kids…" Clara mumbled while patting her friend on the back, "Make sure to give him some capital punishment."
Maya giggled while giving a thumbs-up, "Don't worry, I got this."
Within the matter of a few turns, the girl surprisingly brought the game back to equal ground in terms of piece possession. Now, Tamaki was practically sweating bullets as he watched his dwindling forces getting crushed by the weight of this woman's ambition. "Why are you so good at this?" he muttered while being forced to push a piece forward, despite knowing it would get captured. She had backed him into a corner, one that he couldn't recover from.
"Mario loves checkers." Maya casually answered while turning one of her pieces into a king.
"Does he really?"
"Yeah. That's why it's a kid's game."
The girls giggled as Tamaki clenched his fist in frustration, "How dare you… it's one thing to disrespect me… but not my bro, Mario! He's not even here to defend himself, you harpies!"
"Since when have you been friends?" Maya asked with a blank stare, "I'm also pretty sure I've never even seen you two in the same room."
"Does that matter?" the Japanese man clenched his chest passionately while saying, "Because manliness transcends all forms of communication!" he made sure his gesture was grand, that way his spectators couldn't see him swipe two more pieces off the board.
"Does it, cheater?" an unamused Maya muttered while kicking his shin under the table.
"Yowch!"
To nobody's surprise, Tamaki lost. Well… almost to nobody's surprise.
"Motherfucker!"
"Watch your language. We're in public." Clara lightly scolded the Japanese man as he cursed his loss.
"Whatever." Tamaki mumbled while standing up, "This game was stupid anyway."
"Don't be such a sore loser." Maya commented as he stormed out of the car, "Oh boy. Looks like Naoto's gonna have his hands full."
"He sure does a lot." the pink-haired girl added as the Black Knights dispersed.
"Who? Naoto? Yeah. He's an integral part of the Black Knights." her friend leaned back, as if pondering something great, "If Zero is the brains, then I'd say Naoto's the heart. With Tohdoh and Kallen as our arms, alongside myself and Mario as the legs."
"Oh? And where does that leave me?"
"Pft. I don't know. The ribs?"
The girls giggled just as the car door opened, and a Chinese man entered, heading straight for a booth. Of course, they paid him no mind, "Wanna play another round of Checkers?" Clara asked as she sat across from her friend.
"Nah. I'm bored now."
"What do you want to do now?"
"Maybe… we could head back to Naoto and watch him calm Tamaki?"
"Oh. That sounds like fun." Clara moved to the door, only to be cut off by a blond Britannian, who swiftly moved around her, "Sorry about that…" she turned to catch his face, which left her utterly stunned.
"It's okay-" the boy's eyes widened with shock.
"Hurry up." Maya, who didn't understand what was going on, playfully pushed her friend into the next cart, causing the two to break eye contact.
"That couldn't have been him… could it?"
"No… that was definitely her…" the man sat across from the Chinese man.
"Oh man. I've never had the privilege of eating on a train like this before. What do you think I should get?"
"Hm? Um… I don't know."
"Is something wrong?"
"What makes you say that?"
"Usually… you're so composed, it's almost scary. But now…" the Chinese man scanned his partner's face, "You look absolutely terrified, as if you've just seen a ghost."
"It's nothing." the man known as Orpheus Zevon replied, "I was just… thinking."
"Hope you don't mind if I pry… but what were you thinking about?"
"I appreciate your concern, but let' focus on the task at hand. My thoughts are irrelevant."
"If you say so." his partner picked up a menu, looking over it eagerly.
"And you know… I just don't feel like I'm valued as a member." Tamaki vented to Lelouch, who he found by pure chance in the caboose, about his problems regarding Clara and Maya, "I mean, I've been a part of this organization since day one. And sure, I may seem like an idiot, but I've got a lot to offer. Don't you agree, best buddy?"
The Prince sighed heavily while putting down his tablet, "Tamaki… you know I'm trying to hide, right?"
"I know… but it's not like anyway would really care if you revealed your identity." he responded while laying back.
"Easy for you to say. You've seen me before, so the shock of my face behind the mask wasn't as devastating."
"Even so, nobody would care. It's not like you're a Britannian Prince or anything. You're too ugly for that." Tamaki howled at his joke, while Zero gave him a blank stare, "I'm kidding, dude. You're not that ugly."
"Thanks." Lelouch responded with a raised eyebrow, "Anyway… how long do you plan on staying here?"
"Pft… I dunno. It's pretty cool back here." the Japanese man observed the car with approval, "We don't actually have cabooses in Japan, so it's super cool seeing one now. Like ancient history."
"It's also a good place to hide, since nobody really wants to be back here." Lelouch hinted for him to leave.
Of course, being the blundering idiot Tamaki was, he couldn't take a hint if it hit him in the face, "I really don't understand why. It's so cool back here." he gasped, "Oh. By the way, you know that Nagisa chick? Yeah, well she's pretty pissed off, and really wants to know your identity, so keep low for the time being."
"Oh really? Thank you so much…" the Prince responded while snapping his fingers, coming up with a way to get the man to leave, "Ah! I know. Since you've been such a help, how about I make you the head of HR?"
"HR? Ew. Sorry, but I'm not good with all the paperwork stuff… I'd like to stick with being Head Custodian, if you don't mind."
"Th-that's great…"
"Man… how crazy would it be if you were actually a Prince though?" Tamaki leaned back, "I mean… damn. I know that freak, Diethard, would eat it up. Titling it something like… 'Prince returns to take back the throne', or whatever."
"Well… what would you think?" Lelouch asked cautiously, "What if I was a Prince?"
The Japanese man tossed the idea around his relatively empty, but good-natured, mind, before coming to the following conclusion: "While it would be a shock… I don't know how I'd feel. I mean, you have helped us, and you've even killed two members of the Royal Family. Though, I'd still definitely stand by your side. After all, even if you're a Prince, you still seem to hate Britannia all the same."
"Is that so?" Lelouch nodded, "Thank you, Tamaki. Your faith in me is… unparalleled."
"No problem, dude." the man stood up, "I'm gonna head back to Naoto now. Good luck with… whatever you were doing."
Zero waved off his subordinate with a soft smile, "Tamaki… while you might not be the smartest Black Knight, you certainly have the biggest heart among us. That's why I believe you can relate to the average person so well."
"Oh wow! Is that Mario!?" the easily distracted Tamaki exclaimed while taking a seat next to the black-haired boy, "And you're…"
"His name's Rolo." Mario answered with a frustrated sigh.
"Ah! I totally knew that!" the Japanese man lied while scratching the back of his head, "You're the guy who Clara brought in, right?"
"And sometimes… your hearts too big for your own good." Lelouch shook his head while returning to his tablet, "Regardless, you're a good asset, and a better friend."
Clara kicked her feet up, rubbing her temple while going through her memory, "That had to be him, right? Orpheus. But what the hell is he doing here? I thought he died in that attack years ago…"
"Yo… Clara. Are you okay?" Maya asked while kicking her feet.
"Hm? I'm fine. Just thinking about something…"
"What is it?"
"It's got something to do with Rolo."
The black-haired girl smiled, "Oh?"
"Not like that, silly." Clara rolled her eyes, "It's just something about our past, that's all." she took a deep breath, and laid flat across her seat, "With how absurdly close we are to… that facility, our past is bound to crop up."
"Does that scare you?"
The pink-haired girl began fidgeting with her thumbs, "Kind of… I mean…" she let out a sigh, "Me and Rolo… we don't get along, that much is obvious. But we're not the only ones. There were other kids… others who didn't exactly like either of us."
"Sounds pretty toxic if you ask me."
"You're telling me. I can count on one hand how many kids I got along with, and honestly? I'd consider Rolo in that count."
Maya leaned forward, "Clara… why are you bringing this up now?"
The girl shook as she sat up, "Maya… I saw one of them…" she leaned forward, holding her friend's hands close, "He's on this train."
Maya's eyes widened as she looked around, "For real? We should tell Naoto, or Lelouch about this."
"No… no they won't… they can't help. Not with this one." Clara practically shook as she held back tears.
"I… don't wanna sound presumptuous, but what did you do?"
A Few Years Ago.
"Ow!" Clara groaned as Rolo tossed her onto a mat.
"Get up." their instructor commanded.
The two kids faced each other once again, this time Clara led with a left jab, which Rolo easily parried, before sending a punch into her abdomen. The girl groaned while grabbing his arm, sending him tumbling across the mat with a quick toss, followed up with a curb stomp, that he easily dodged. In a single breath, the boy blitzed his opponent, sending a punch into the stomach, and slamming her to the mat, knocking the wind out of her.
"Enough." their instructor announced, "Sloppy work, number 0859. You'll need extra correctional training later."
"I-I understand…" the girl whimpered as she was helped up by her opponent.
Rolo guided her to a glass cell, where two more kids were waiting for them, "Clara." Orpheus approached the girl, "Bad day again?"
She put on a weak smile, "Y-yeah… doesn't help that this show-off tries so hard." she playfully punched Rolo in the side, causing him to instantly drop her, much to their last cellmate, Euliya's distress.
"Don't be so rough!" she exclaimed while aiding the pink-haired girl, "Are you okay, Clara?"
"Just a bit hungry… other than that… I'm okay." Clara responded with a thumbs up.
"Well, meal time won't be until 5 hours from now." Orpheus explained, "Though… with how hard they're pushing you two… I don't doubt they'll eventually send one of you on a mission."
"Probably… gonna be Rolo." Clara muttered while laying on the cold floor, "He's… got the best Geass out of us."
"Don't be so harsh on yourself." Euliya tried to cheer her friend up, "After all, your Geass is pretty incredible too."
"But it's nothing against his in a straight fight." she pointed at the boy in question, who isolated himself from the group, "You hear me!? Heart-stopper!?"
Euliya gasped upon hearing those words, "Clara! Don't make fun of Rolo either! We have to stick together here! We're all we got!"
Suddenly, a dark-skinned woman entered the room. She was extremely different from the others, as she wore… normal clothes. Or at least, as normal as military clothes were. "Look who's back from another mission!" Clara shouted while crawling toward the girl, "It's Ms. Toto. Tell me, what's it like on the outside."
Orpheus paid no mind to the woman, instead opting to direct Euliya to the corner of the cell, where Rolo observed them closely, "It was alright." Toto told the curious Clara as she stopped right at her feet.
"Oh please. Sit and chat for a bit. I wanna hear all about your adventures!"
The dark-skinned girls sighed, before sitting in front of Clara, "I'm going out on another mission soon, so make it quick."
"Another mission!? Gosh. I wish I could be that important." the pink-haired girl rolled over, "How about the food first?"
"We… just ate normal food on the ship."
"Liar. I can smell something delicious on your breath." Clara practically jammed her finger in Toto's face, "Explain!"
In response, she giggled, "Fine. Since we had just visited India, I had some curry on the way back."
"Curry? What's that like?"
"Well… it's spicy… flavorful… Oh. And you eat it over rice."
"Rice? Ain't that the mushy stuff we eat?"
Toto shook her head, "Not exactly. You see, the rice I had was fluffy, piping hot, and you could practically count the grains."
Clara's stomach growled at the thought, "Oh boy. I can't wait until I get out of here! Then I'll be able to try as much curry as I want!"
"You know… there's more food than just curry, right?"
"Yeah. Like Hamburgers, sushi, ice cream, and pasta. I want to try them all!" the pink-haired girl proclaimed, "I have a lot of eating to do, but I'll catch up with you one day, Toto!"
Suddenly, a guard entered, ushering the dark-skinned girl to follow, "Looks like I have to go." she stood up, waving everyone a soft goodbye, "Good luck on your 'eating adventures', Clara."
"We'll see each other soon, right?"
This made Toto freeze, keeping her eyes toward the door, as if deep in thought, "Sure. We'll see each other again." she lied effortlessly as the echo of her boots faded into the distance.
5 hours later.
One guard entered their cell with a food cart, causing Clara to instantly sit up, while Orpheus and Euliya seemed to quickly hide something. Meanwhile, Rolo remained as emotionless as ever. After their trays were handed out, the guard swiftly left.
"So… you're telling me this gloopy stuff is rice?" Clara mumbled as the substance dripped off her plastic spoon. She took a bite, and stuck her tongue out, "Bland."
"Just eat." Rolo commanded, "You're being such a brat."
"Oh? I'm sorry that I have such a refined palette." she teased while sticking her nose up, "Though… out of everything here… this 'meat' stuff seems pretty good."
"I told you before, it's heavily processed with chemicals to taste like that."
"And I told you before to not ruin my fun." Rolo rolled his eyes before returning to his meal. "Awe man!" Clara shouted
"Do you have to complain about everything?" the boy asked while getting to his desert, which was a fruit cup.
"You're not the one who has to eat a fruit brownie!"
"It's a fig brownie."
"Same difference! They taste disgusting!"
"Really? I thought they tasted pretty good." Euliya chimed in while looking at her friend's tray, "Hm… wanna trade?"
"What'd you get?" Clara leaned over, only to lay eyes upon chocolate pudding, which had a small topping of whip cream, "No way! Are you sure? The pudding's like… the best thing there is!"
Euliya giggled at her enthusiasm, "Go ahead."
Without a second thought, the pink-haired girl devoured the pudding as her friend took the brownie, "Shouldn't you be saying something?" Orpheus added with a calm tone.
"Thanks Euliya!" Clara hugged the girl with chocolate on her cheek.
"Clean up after yourself." Rolo muttered while putting his tray to the side.
"You're just jealous!"
"Nobody's jealous of you, Clara."
The girl stood up triumphantly over the boy, "Oh yeah? Just watch. I'll become the freest person in this dump! More than the guards! More than V.V!" she pointed at Rolo, "And certainly more than you!"
"We'll see about that." he responded while closing his eyes, drifting off to sleep on the cold floor.
One Week Later.
Clara sighed as she laid alone in her cell, "Ugh. I can't believe Rolo actually got sent on a mission. I mean, I expected it. But still… the thought of him getting ahead of me just…" she stood up in anger, "Pisses me off!"
That's when the door opened for a guard, who motioned her outside. Clara was guided to a training area, where Orpheus, Euliya, and a good amount of other subjects were gathered. Suspicious. That was Clara's first thought. Nevertheless, she headed to her friends, who quickly ushered her in, "Clara." Euliya whispered, "How would you feel about… escaping?"
That's when Orpheus stopped her, "What are you doing? Don't bring her into this."
"But why? She's our friend."
"We don't have enough resources to get her out, too."
"But Orpheus-"
"What are you talking about?" Clara spoke up, "Escape?"
Ignoring the boy's warning, Euliya explained, "You see… we're planning on escaping tonight, and since I know how much you want freedom, I was wondering if you'd come with us?"
Before she could respond, the guards announced, "Everyone. Find a partner for this next exercise. Those who aren't able to, will face devastating consequences."
Ignoring those haunting words, Clara continued to converse with Euliya, "Seriously? Wh-where are we going?"
"Orpheus and I were thinking of going to Hungary. It's isolated enough that the order wouldn't bother searching there."
"Euliya." the boy scolded her, "You're not seriously suggesting we take her. What about us?"
"Don't worry." she calmed him, "Clara, I know that once we leave, you're probably gonna go off on your own. But… since I have the chance, I'm willing to offer you freedom."
Of course, Clara didn't even think about it for another second, "Let's do it! When are we-"
"Subject 0859. You have failed to find a partner." the guards announced, "As punishment, you will face the next 12 hours in solitary confinement."
"What!?" the girl exclaimed, "But I have-" she turned around, only to find herself isolated from the group, with Orpheus holding Euliya close, "O-oh…"
Present Day.
"Solitary for not finding a partner? Ugh." Maya scoffed, "And here I thought those kinds of projects in school couldn't get any worse."
"Y-yeah. It was pretty bad." Clara looked down, "They'd lock you in a coffin that was specially designed to barely fit. There was no room, and I'm pretty sure if I had been any weaker, I would've got claustrophobia."
"And… considering how you are now… they left you behind?"
The pink-haired girl nodded, "Exactly."
"But… how does that play into the person you saw today?"
"Orpheus. That's who I saw."
"Then shouldn't you be happy? He sought freedom, just as you did, escaping from that terrible place with that girl." Maya explained, "Unless… they failed?"
Clara shook her head, "No. They succeeded, but…"
Geass Order.
"Subject 0859. It's to our knowledge that you were the last one in contact with Subject 0858, and Subject 0857." the guard questioned as she was strapped to a long board, "Do you have any clue to their whereabouts?"
"Not a clue." she answered confidently as they forced on a helmet.
Suddenly, she felt an electric shock course throughout her body, causing her to scream in pain, "Don't lie to me." the man calmly stated, "We caught wind of a conversation while they were escaping. Subject 0857 said to Subject 0858 the following: "We can't leave Clara behind. I promised her freedom!"
To which he responded: "You made no such promise. Besides, she's in solitary! There's no way we'll be able to get in, I've overused my Geass."
"But… if we had hers, then…"
"Getting off my restraints was bad enough! We can't afford to waste time. Let's get out of here, Euliya."
"Orpheus…" Clara looked down.
That's when V.V entered with a smile, "Did you tell her about their… other plan?" he confidently slammed a folder on the table, commanding the room's attentions, "They were planning on using you as a diversion." upon seeing her face drop, he continued, "That's right. I bet you didn't expect that out of sweet, innocent Euliya, were you?"
"That's not-"
"She doesn't even have a Geass. Instead, opting to manipulate people, such as Orpheus, to do her bidding with sweet words. A true villain if I've ever seen one in my years of living."
"That's not true!" Clara shouted, "She would never do such a thing!"
"Is that so?" V.V snapped his fingers, causing a recording to play in the background.
"It'll never work, Euliya." Orpheus' voice warned, "Once we get out… there's no way we'll be able to outrun the enforcers for long."
"I know… we'll need a distraction." Euliya responded while seemingly pacing around a room, "What about the armory? Why don't we blow it up?"
"With what weapons?"
"Ah. Well… how about we incite a mini rebellion?"
"Too many collars to destroy."
"What about just one?"
"One?"
"Yeah. We just need someone with a really strong Geass… like Rolo or Clara!"
"There's no way Rolo would agree to such a plan. He's been brainwashed too much. And Clara's a loose cannon. Her Geass is strong, but it requires a lot to use."
Euliya snapped her fingers, "What if it's not her Geass we need? Instead, we'll escape with her."
"I told you: I want it to just be us. And even if we do bring Clara along, there's no way she's staying with us."
"I know. That's what I'm banking on. We'll separate into two groups, and considering her recklessness, they'll certainly go after Clara first."
"You… want to use her as bait?"
"What choice do we have? It's her or us. Please… Orpheus."
The boy went silent, before responding, "Fine."
That's when V.V cut the recording, "Some friends they were."
Clara looked down in disbelief. The thought of the recording being fake never crossing her mind, as heartbreak took hold. Deep inside, she was aware that she didn't know anyone within the order, so it was completely possible for Euliya to truly be this ugly monster underneath the sweet-talking. Actually, there was one person she knew. Rolo. Odd, the guy she disagreed with the most, was the one she knew best.
"Clara." V.V called her name, "Tell us where they went. We don't need a direct address, just a location to search. This way, you'll be able to get our revenge."
Clara opened her mouth to speak, only to stop at the last second, "N-no. I want something from this."
"Oh?" the Immortal smirked, "Name your price."
"O-outside! I want outside! Even if it's just through missions, I want to spend time outside!"
"Very well. Much like Rolo, you'll be sent on missions monthly from now on." V.V leaned back, "Now… tell us everything you know."
Present Day.
"She sold them out?" Mario asked as Rolo looked out the window.
"Yep. I wasn't there when they did the killing, but I heard about it from Master V.V." he explained, "If you wanted to know why I have such a deep hatred to her, that's why."
"Hold on… I thought you liked the order. So why were you mad she sold them out?"
"That wasn't the problem. It was how she acted like it never happened. She strutted around, boasting about how her skills landed her the agent position." Rolo looked his temporary owner in the eyes, "To me, she shouldn't even be here. Clara and her mediocre talents should've been left to rot in the order where she belonged. Someone like that, who doesn't put in the work, doesn't deserve the honor of being chosen."
Mario leaned back, taking everything in, "That's… certainly a lot to go over. So, those two who escaped are…"
"Dead. Confirmed by V.V himself."
"So there's no way you or Clara will ever get along?"
"Not in the foreseeable future."
"What if… she changed her attitude? Started taking things seriously and all that. Wouldn't that garner at least a little respect?"
Rolo sighed, "I suppose… it could be a start. Though, I doubt she'd do such a thing. Especially with how she is."
Lelouch intently listened to the conversation, jotting down notes about the Order, it's size, possible staff, everything he could dissect from Rolo's story. "Perhaps wiping them out will be easier than I thought. Even so, it's clearly an operation for further down the line, but it's still good to know." he closed the document on his tablet, before reopening the Taj Mahal video, "Back to Birthday planning."
AN: This entire situation with the Geass Order is just made up. It's here to give extra context to the relationship Clara, Orpheus, Rolo, and Toto will have. As for whether or not Orpheus knows Clara sold him out, that's up for interpretation for now. Then there's V.V...
Wait... does this mean we're still on the train?
