Goldenrod City

"...I'll handle things with Typhlosion from here. Go stop Team Rocket!" Kris told Jackson.

"Good! I have the special earplugs in Typhlosion's ears." he answered, "Give them back to me when this is all said and done."

"I got it. Thanks!" she replied, and she stood there as Leafeon and Jackson took off towards the Radio Tower. "Okay..." she muttered, looking to Typhlosion, "How am I gonna move him without Ethan's Pokéball?"

"Like this!" said a voice, and she looked to see Ethan had appeared, sucking Typhlosion back into his Pokéball. He had a cast on one arm, but otherwise looked fine.

"Ethan! What are you doing here?!" Kris asked, startled.

"You'd think I'll just stand around and leave you guys dealing with the situation?!" he asked, looking to see Jackson and Leafeon's backsides off in the distance, "Did Jackson take out my Typhlosion?"

"Looks like it." she answered, "We should take care of him at the Pokémon Center."

"No way! Let's follow Jackson!" he replied, "We have other Pokemon on hand besides them. Let's use them, and go help stop Team Rocket!"

"But what can we do?" Kris asked, "Our Pokémon will go berserk if they are released out of their balls."

"We'll figure things out as we go." Ethan answered, "I don't want to just rely on Jackson all the time. We have to go and help out any way we can!"

He charged on ahead, with Kris watching him as she cried out, "Wait! You don't... Oh, forget it. Wait for me!" She pursued Ethan, going after Jackson and his team.

Unbeknownst to them, a familiar red-headed boy appeared, watching them run off, before muttering, "Are they really meddling in this, too?! I'm the only one who should take down Team Rocket! Not them!" He raced far behind the two teams, all going to the same area; the Radio Tower.

Music Intro

(Traveling through shining golden tunnel of energy, leading out into space with many world, all of which different colors, with the central world being the Pokémon world. The logo 'Jackson in Johto' appears on screen, before the camera passes through the arch of the 'n' from 'in, going into the world, through the clouds, where the glowing shadow of Ho-Oh can be seen, to the sea, where the shadow of Lugia is flying beneath the waters, before reaching the shoreline, getting blinded by the sun.)

Yeah, stand up boys!

Come on, face forward

(Jackson stands up, with Quilava at his side, followed by Dewott, Weavile, and Scizor, all of which expressing their unique personalities to Jackson.)

The call enveloping you is your guide

Step towards tomorrow

(Dewott gets angry at Weavile for trying to act so cool, while Jackson rolls his eyes before he, Quilava and Scizor took off ahead, with Weavile following behind, ignoring Dewott, who panicked and ran to not be left behind.)

Yeah, stand up girls!

At the end of what's more than real

(Leafeon rises up with Lyanne as Jackson and the boys pass by. The two look to one another, before giggling at the sight of the boys, before looking to the sky.)

We'll grab a light that's been covered by thick clouds

(Camera goes up to see Gardevoir appear in a sparkling light, landing right next to the two girls, smiling pleasantly at the two before they raced after the boys.)

How we spend our days before isn't good enough

(Camera passes by still images of all the companions and gym leaders that he has met or will meet in the future, including Cypher at the end of the pictures, while Jackson, Lyanne, Leafeon, and the rest of his current team walked along the bottom of the screen.)

At full speed

We can blast through

Even the highest wall

(Team Rocket suddenly appears, with the four admins of Team Rocket standing together, with the images of their ace Pokémon at their side, and the satellite system right above them.)

Stand up for your dream!

(Jackson draws his sword, while Lyanne turns into her Latias form, and the rest of his team ready to fight together.)

Be enthusiastic at what you do, no matter what it is

(Jackson rushes forward as he slashes his blade against Team Rocket grunts, followed by a spin kick, sending them flying, while Leafeon leaps up and unleashes a forward somersault Leaf Blade, taking out their Pokémon.)

Push your way through to make an opening

(Weavile unleashes an Ice Punch as Dewott throws a Water Pulse at a different direction, followed by the pair unleashing simultaneous Night Slashes. Quilava leaps through their attack, going into a Flame Charge.)

No matter how far

The answer you're seeking is

Stand up for your dream!

(Scizor flies in, striking with a couple Bullet Punches before firing a Hyper Beam. Latias flies above him, unleashing a Mist Ball, sending it ahead. Gardevoir flew forward, using Psychic to catch the Mist Ball, spinning it around her before shooting it forward, adding a Moonblast alongside the attack, creating an explosion.)

Even if my feeling show weakness

Your voice that I hear close by

(In the burning Ecruteak City, a serious Jackson raced along the path with Leafeon and Quilava at his side, towards the two towers, where a deranged Ho-Oh and Lugia were at, unleashing Aeroblast and Sacred Fire onto the city.)

Gives me courage and strength

I can go the distance

(Jackson leaps high, landing on Latias's back as they flew off, with the rest of the team leaping with him before encased in a stream of their signature colors, before the screen turn white, with a crystal blue Pokéball with a gold and silver sword crossing behind it the only thing remaining.)

Jackson was obviously the first to reach the Radio Tower, with Leafeon at his side. The moment they entered in, they saw Team Rocket members, all knocked to the ground, while Jackson's team, Weavile, Dewott, Scizor, and Gardevoir were also on the first floor, as the rest of the police force was dealing with Team Rocket grunts, most of which were tangled up in webbing

"Guys!" Jackson called out, getting his team's attention.

"Bout time you showed up!" Dewott scoffed.

"Did you take care of that Typhlosion?" Gardevoir asked.

"Yep. All thanks to Quilava!" Jackson answered, "He's resting, as the rest of you should at the time being." He pulled out their balls, returning them to their balls.

"Young man!" Officer Jenny addressed Jackson, "We are grateful for your Pokémon's assistance. They were able to get us through the first hurdle, but we have a problem..." She looked to the Team Rocket grunts in front of them, their Pokémon out; two Ariados.

"Ariados, Spider Web!" the grunts shouted together, and their Pokémon shot webs at the police, causing them to be further entangled. A spider web was heading to Jackson and Jenny, but Jackson instantly drew out his sword, slashing the web into ribbons.

"I get it." Jackson understood, twirling his blade into his fighter's stance, "The radio signals are only affecting the places outside of the Radio Tower, but not inside it."

"Let's see you stop this!" one of the Team Rocket grunts called out, "Poison Sting!" The Ariados fired off multiple needles at the pair.

"Leafeon, Iron Tail!" Jackson called out, and Leafeon leapt in, striking out all the needles with her steel-coated tail, which also made her immune to the poison of the attack. She then got in close to the two Ariados, and slashed the two opponents with her tail, knocking them unconscious. "Excellent work!" Jackson called out, dashing in, slashing the webbing to free the police, before using the flat of his blade to knock the grunts unconscious.

"Just who are you, young man?" Jenny asked him as he sheathed his blade.

"Just a kid trying to earn his hero title back again." Jackson answered, looking back at them, "I'm Jackson. Jackson the Swordsman!" He charged up the stairs that led to the upper floors.

Jenny watched him leave, before hearing a girl behind going, "Wait for us, Jackson!" She spun and caught a glimpse of Kris and Ethan as they passed her, going up the stairs.

"Wait, don't go!" she called out, "It's too dangerous!"

"Says you." said another voice, and she looked to see Cypher appear, walking past her without a second glance, "If you can't even handle a bunch of grunts, then let those with actual power do the job." With these words, he started going up the stairs."

Jackson, at this point, made to the next floor, which had Team Rocket members holding members of the radio station hostage. "Not on my watch!" Jackson called out, tossing out Gardevoir onto the field, using her Psychic to grab the citizens and pull them away from the grunts and scientists. With them safe, Jackson saw the grunts call out an Ekans, Magneton, and a Misdreavus onto the battlefield.

"Three against one. What ever shall we do?" Jackson asked sarcastically, confident he could win.

"You get extra reinforcements!" Ethan called out, causing the swordsman to spin and see him and Kris appear, tossing their balls out, and out came a bear with rings around his belly, and a short-footed, armored elephant Pokémon.

"Ethan! Kris!" Jackson gasped, seeing them appear.

"Let us join in!" Kris answered, "Especially now we can use our Pokémon in here!"

"You won't leave us in the dust!" Ethan told Jackson, waving a hand to his partner, "Ursaring, Shadow Claw!" His partner charged forward with a claw encased in ghostly energy, striking Misdreavus, slamming it into the ground, knocking it out.

"Magneton, Thunderbolt!" the scientist called out, and Magneton unleashed a bolt of electricity at the bear, only for Donphan to get in the way, nullifying the attack with its body.

"Good job, Donphan!" Kris called out, "Now use Fire Fang!" Donphan charged in, igniting flames from its teeth and tusks, before chomping down onto Magneton, causing a fiery burst that knocked it out.

"Thanks, guys!" Jackson thanked them, "Gardevoir, Psychic on Ekans!"

"As you wish!" she answered, her eyes glowing. Ekans got pulled off the ground, before get squished and pulled all over the place, before getting sent flying into the three Pokémon owners, knocking them out.

"That's a little brutal, Jackson." Kris told the said trainer.

"Team Rocket is causing a lot of harm to other Pokémon in the entire region." Jackson answered, "Besides, back home, Eggman would pilot the machines he used to try and kill us with. I don't see the problem with what I do."

"I guess..." Ethan admitted as the three of them returned their Pokémon to their balls, "Still pretty brutal, though."

"Hmph! Your friends are a bunch of wimps." said another voice, and they looked to see their hated rival appear on the scene.

"Cypher?!" Jackson gasped.

"What do you want?" Kris asked with a glare.

"I'm taking out Team Rocket, and I don't need your help doing the job!" he answered, walking past them, "Stay out of my way, and let me deal with this."

"No way, José!" Jackson answered, following him from behind, with Ethan and Kris bringing up the rear, "If you hadn't realized this, the entire region is in danger because Team Rocket is sending this radio signal all over! Like it or not, we're taking care of this mess, too!"

Cypher stopped and turned to him, giving a fierce glare as he said, "I don't give a Rattata's ass about that! One reason I want to deal with Team Rocket is because they are a big pain in the butt, and they need to stop calling their boss back to them! The other reason is because something this big might bring that dragon tamer, Lance, here!"

"So you're using Team Rocket as bait for a rematch?!" Jackson asked, incredulous.

"You don't care what happens to the Pokémon around here?!" Ethan demanded.

"How petty can you get?!" Kris angrily asked.

"Say what you want." Cypher responded, walking to the stairs, and going up them, "I am not someone who needs extra people to soften up a group of weaklings like these guys."

The three other trainers looked at one another, before Jackson glared at Cypher, running to the stairs and going past him, causing him to stop and watch him go. "If you are here for your own selfish desires, then I am here to do what I want to do." he replied, "I'm saving this region, whether you like it or not!"

"Same!" Ethan agreed.

"I won't let you get in our way!" Kris determinately declared.

The two ended up pursuing Jackson, going past Cypher, who had his eyes shadowed from view. He then glared at the three reaching the top of the stairs. "What is WITH you idiots?" he asked himself, before following behind.

The team made it to the third floor, where they found themselves in a computer room, with Team Rocket grunts and scientists there, holding hostages once more. There was even a couple of them that had sonar-like machines strapped to their backs, and they turned to the kids.

"Those must be the intruders!" one of the grunts called out.

"It's those two kids again!" a scientist realized.

"I recognize those machines!" Ethan exclaimed, "They unleash those soundwaves that the radio tower is shooting all about! They sent my Typhlosion and Kris's Feraligatr out of control!"

"I got them!" one of the machine-wielding grunts called out, "That Leafeon is gonna be your downfall!" He activated the sonar machines, sending radio waves directly at her. She took it, grimacing slightly, but shook it off.

"Leafeon?" Jackson asked.

"I'm okay. But it is barely getting through your plugs." Leafeon noted.

"Must be more concentrated than the usual radio waves." Jackson understood, as Cypher appeared on the scene, "Let's shut them down before they do more harm!"

"I'm with you!" the Verdant Pokémon responded, and they charged in together. The grunts were shocked at Leafeon's mental stability. They jumped as Jackson drew out his sword, while Leafeon unleashed Iron Tail, slicing up the machines on their back, destroying them without making them detonate. They were stunned as the swordsman spun about, using the butt of his blade, and knocked the wind out of them, making them go unconscious.

"Got any more tricks, or do you want to stick to a Pokémon battle?" Jackson asked the remaining grunts and scientists, giving a threatening look to them.

The group of enemies looked to each other, and saw how outmatched they were, before raising their hands in surrender. Kris, Ethan, and Cypher watched Jackson as he grabbed their tools, and used rope they had to bind them all up together, making sure they were not going anywhere. Kris and Ethan were impressed at Jackson's ability to quell the situation, while Cypher took the opportunity to walk past, going to a sealed up security door, before looking at a map hanging on the wall.

"Guess the only way through is through this door." Cypher understood, pulling out a ball, "Empoleon, Metal Claw!" He threw out his Empoleon out onto the field, who had his metallic flippers at the ready, before slashing the door. However, despite the powerful attack, it was unable to do anything to budge the door.

"Good luck getting through." One of the grunts called out, "Without the Key Card to the place, you won't be able to get through!"

"We know the director has a key to that door!" one of the freed hostages called out, "He is being held hostage up those stairs!" They pointed to an extra set of stairs that led to a different part of the radio tower.

"I'll take care of it." Cypher told the other three, "Stay out of my way and pamper these people!" He and Empoleon raced to the stairs, going up them to the director's office.

"Jeez, can he have a little nicety for us?" Kris asked.

Jackson finished tying up the grunts, before going to the security door. He went to the panel where the card was suppose to insert, examining it carefully. After a minute of examination, he pulled back, and dug into his back for his MMD Glove. "We won't need that key to get through." he told the group, tightening the fingers on the glove, and changing the dial on it.

"What are you doing?" Ethan asked, looking at his device.

"I'm gonna overload the system on this door." Jackson answered, pulling back his hand, before palm-slapping the panel. Sparks shot more wildly than his standard EMP pulse from his glove. The electronics on the panel were going crazy from the surge, before smoke started to come out of it, and there was a green light. The doors slid open, giving access to the path ahead, along with a Team Rocket grunt, who was shocked.

"You fried that thing!" Ethan exclaimed.

"And you opened up the path ahead!" Kris added.

"How did you get through?!" the grunt asked, tossing out a ball, bringing out a Golbat to the field, "You shouldn't have gotten the key card so quickly."

"I knocked." Jackson answered simply, pulling out a Pokeball into his non-gloved hand, and tossed out Scizor onto the field.

"Sensei, your orders?" Scizor asked.

"Finish it swiftly." Jackson answered, taking off the MMD Glove.

"As you command." Scizor answered, readying to unleash Bullet Punch.

"Use Acrobatics!" the grunt shouted, and Golbat flew forward, unleashing dancing strike at Scizor, who countered with his Bullet Punch attacks. The battle was very quick, as Scizor easily overpowered Golbat's attacks, and knocked it skyward into the air, before crashing to the ground, unconscious.

"Now get out of the way!" Jackson told the grunt, who stumbled to one side, pulling his Golbat out of the way, as he, Kris, and Ethan raced up to the top of the stairs.

Cypher made it up to the director's office, with Empoleon next to him, as they looked to see two similar-looking men. White-mustached men who were struggling with each other, before looking at the new person appearing.

"Help! This person has appeared and started to impersonate me!" one of the elderly men claimed, pointing to the look-a-like.

"You daft?! YOU are the one who is impersonating ME!" the other man answered.

"Petrel..." Cypher understood, "He's doing the same trick like he did before."

"How dare you call me an imposter!"

"And you say I am?! I think not!"

"Then prove you are real! Take off that disguise!"

"How dare you! I am the real director of the Goldenrod Radio Tower!"

Cypher watched the two argue for a bit, before sighing as he said, "Empoleon, Surf on both of them!" Empoleon's eyes glowed blue as he summoned out a tidal wave to ride upon.

The two directors all looked shocked at this, before one of them started to panic, throwing his hands about, shouting, "Wait! Wait! Waaait! You'd go that far?!" There was no stopping the wave, before the guy shouted, "Weezing, Shadow Ball!" He tossed out a ball, and out came his Weezing, shooting a ball of ghostly energy, blowing up the Surf, and dealing with the spraying water that splashed down onto them. The result was the 'director' get his fake face peeled off, revealing Petrel's face underneath. As for the real director, he passed out from panic.

"Figures you'd chicken out of your role at the last seconds if I pushed you." Cypher huffed.

"And I thought your dad was ruthless!" Petrel responded, recovering from his moment of shock as he took off the rest of his disguise, "You are certainly on another level!"

"Don't compare me to that coward!" Cypher barked back.

"Wow, touchy." Petrel huffed, "Listen, you know it's not too late to reconsider my offer back in our hideout before. You can still take it. What do you say?"

Cypher clenched his fists. This was true. Back when he pursued Petrel after he was defeated by Jackson before, he took a moment when they were alone to make an offer; Join Team Rocket and become an Executive. They could see he had ambition and power to drive the organization forward. If he did well enough, he could even replace his father as the new leader of Team Rocket. He downright refused to take on such a role, and that wasn't changing anytime soon.

"I don't know why you guys are trying to bring back my old man to lead your sorry excuse of an organization!" he told them, "He ran away when he realized how weak he was, and you guys still cling onto him even after all this time! That makes you so pathetic, I don't even feel sorry for you! All I want to do is take you all out!"

"Jeez, you have some serious daddy issues, don't you?" Petrel asked, while Weezing floated next to him. He tossed out another ball, revealing a Murkrow that flapped down onto his shoulder, "If you're gonna take out all your anger on us, you'd better walk the walk instead of talk the talk!"

"Trust me, I am more than talk..." Cypher growled, tossing a ball up, and out came his evolved form of Nidorino, Nidoking, onto the field, "...Being the strongest trainer in the world is my goal in life!"

On this same floor, on the other side of the building from Cypher, the trio of trainers made their way up the stairs, seeing the stairs straight ahead of them.

"Onto the next floor!" Kris shouted as the team charged ahead. However, their straight path got blocked as the glass shattered from the side. The glass came from a talk show booth, and the person who came out of it was none other than the first Team Rocket Executive Jackson encountered, along with a Golbat.

"You again!" Jackson called out, "You're Proton!"

"Now wait just one second!" Proton answered, "You're that kid who stopped our plans in Azalea Town!"

"Yeah, that's right." Jackson answered.

"And for your information, all three of us were there!" Ethan barked, "We took out your plans as a team."

"Hmph!" Proton dismissed Ethan's correction, "All I remember is that brat trouncing me back in the Slowpoke Well. You two don't even count to me." Ethan looked irritated at this.

"And we can do it again, unless you want to step aside." Jackson threatened him.

"You're just begging to suffer my wrath, aren't you?" Proton asked, "But I bet that's what you want, isn't it? You did come all this way just to make me angry!"

"Your ego isn't nearly as important." Leafeon stated.

"Jackson, Kris, let me take him on." Ethan told the pair.

"Ethan, are you sure?" Kris asked.

"I want to beat him so badly." he replied, "Besides, we don't have time to be stalled. We need to stop Team Rocket all together, so I'll do my part, right now!" He tossed his ball up, and out came an Espeon, who looked ready to fight.

"I didn't know you caught an Espeon!" Jackson noticed.

"Got inspired by you to get my own Eeveelution." Ethan answered, "Kris has one, too." Jackson looked to the said girl, who nodded to answer that. "Alright, use Psyshock!" he ordered, and Espeon shot a sphere of condensed psychic energy.

"Golbat, Sludge Bomb!" Proton shouted, and his partner shot a ball of gunk to counter the attack, causing an explosion.

"Go, now!" Ethan told the pair of trainers, who nodded in understanding, before taking off. They ran through the smoke, which hid their presence enough to pass Proton. He sensed their presence, and spun to see them go up the steps. "Hold it!" he shouted.

"Eyes over here!" Ethan got his attention back on him, "I have more in store for you! Espeon, Hyper Beam!" Espeon gathered up energy and fired it off as a black beam at Golbat, blasting it in the face, knocking it down. It was barely able to get back up as Proton growled at him, while Ethan looked determined. He wasn't gonna be just a background character to him.

Jackson, Kris, and Leafeon reached the next floor, running through the small hallway. "Just a bit further, and we'll reach the top floor!" Jackson called out.

"I know Ethan can win this, but I can't help but be worried about him." Kris noted.

"It's only natural to think about your friends." Jackson answered, "There is no shame in feeling that way."

They reached an open room with the stairs that led to the top floor of the Radio Tower when someone stepped into their path. It was Ariana, the woman Jackson fought twice before.

"We meet again, young man." Ariana greeted.

"Yeah. We gotta stop meeting like this." Jackson argued.

"You know, we have been keeping an eye on you since Mahogany Town. We know of the other traveling companion you have with you. It's the same girl we met in Alto Mare...or maybe the same Pokémon as we saw?" Jackson's expression from this said it all, and she chuckled. "I knew it. That Latias is with you." she understood.

"Latias?!" Kris gasped, looking to him, "The Eon Pokémon?! You have one?!"

"In a matter of speaking, but I don't own her." Jackson answered, "But that's irrelevant. You know I won't let her get into your hands, right?"

"And yet, I know she isn't here. She's in Ecruteak City, trying to quench the destruction happening there thanks to what is going on here."

"Wha- How do you?!" Jackson asked, shocked that she knew.

"We have agents in that town, preparing for our main objective." Ariana answered, pulling out a ball, and tossing out her Arbok onto the field, "But you won't be able to stop us in time to learn what is. All that matters is that we'll win, and achieve our goals."

"You mean all this destruction you are causing isn't your main objective?!" Kris questioned.

"No, child. This is merely the bait." Ariana answered.

"Bait?" Jackson asked, wondering what she meant by that.

"Jackson, let me take care of her." Kris told Jackson, "With your tech know-how, I bet you can stop the radio waves. You have to save all the Pokémon in the entire Johto region!"

"No pressure." Jackson responded almost casually, "I am counting on you."

"Thanks. Let us girls have our own fight!" she declared, tossing out a Pokéball, and out came a Jolteon, who looked ready to go. "Jolteon, Discharge!" Jolteon unleashed a blast of electricity that spread around the room, striking Arbok with its electricity, and paralyzing it. Leafeon hopped onto Jackson as he took a moment to use his Air Shoes to dash through the sparks of electricity, passing by Ariana before deactivating his shoes and running up the stairs, with Leafeon bounding off of him to follow.

Ariana looked behind her, before turning away with a smirk as she stated, "I'm awfully disappointed. I was hoping to take on that boy again. I really admired his strength the last time I encountered him. All I am left is with scraps."

"Just to let you know, Jackson, Ethan, and I have all started our journey together. We're just as strong as he is! Don't go underestimating any of us!"

"I'm not underestimating. I just never fought you." Ariana corrected her, "But without him here, you are alone. This should be quite easy for me." Arbok suddenly glowed as she activated her Shed Skin ability, shedding off the paralysis. Kris wasn't gonna take this sitting down. She wanted to prove her worth.

Jackson and Leafeon reached the top floor, where he saw the main system of the Radio Tower. The room was circular, and all the walls were glass, allowing them to look outside to see the chaos about the city thanks to the berserk Pokémon. Standing at the window furthest from the stairs was the blue-haired man that Kris and Ethan encountered before.

"Oh? You managed to make it this far?" the man addressed Jackson without turning around.

"Yeah. That is, thanks to my friends and rivals." Jackson answered, walking towards him without hesitation.

"Treading over your allies to reach your goal." he understood, turning to him, "How glorious."

"Wrong! I'm putting my faith in them that they'll take out your group's Executives!" Jackson counter-argued, "That just leaves you to deal with!"

The man closed his eyes as he smirked, before saying, "You know, I have heard plenty about you from the others. Azalea Town, Alto Mare, our hideout in Mahogany. You have been quite a nuisance to us. We took over the Radio Tower in order to bring about the rise of Team Rocket, and to call back our boss, Giovanni, from his solitude. Let him know that we are still here, waiting for his return."

"You are causing all the Pokémon in the region to go berserk just for that?" Jackson asked, incredulous, "That's absolutely nuts!"

"Oh, we're not just causing the Pokémon to lose their minds just to call him." the man stated, "You see, we also have another goal in mind. One that was wished upon us by someone powerful."

"Who was that?" Jackson asked.

"A deity that far exceeds your expectations." he answered, "I would even say that it surpasses all of Team Rocket."

"It?" Jackson echoed, before mentally noting, 'So it isn't even human? But what is the mission they are following?'

"But once Giovanni appears, he will bring about a new era." he finished, "An era when we control everyone and every Pokémon in the entire world! We will regain our former glory, and you will not get in the way of our meticulous plan!"

"Then I, Jackson Alpphire, former hero of my homeland, will stop you, here and now!" Jackson called out.

"And I, Archer, current leader of Team Rocket, will stop you from interfering with our plans!" the man introduced himself, before tossing out a ball, bringing out a Magmar onto the field.

"I remember that Pokémon..." Jackson recalled the Magmar, before tossing out a ball, bringing out Dewott to the battle.

"This is the head of Team Rocket, Dewott! Do not get reckless!" Leafeon called out.

"I know, I know!" Dewott answered, "I am going to put this guy down to save all of Pokémon!"

Cypher vs. Petrel

"Nidoking, Megahorn!" Cypher shouted, and his partner charged forward with his glowing horn.

"Murkrow, Foul Play!" Petrel shouted. Murkrow flew in, his body glowing as he went underneath and struck Nidoking in the gut, turning his strength against him as he sent him toppling to the ground. "Ha! Turning your power you are so proud of into a weakness!" Petrel cackled, "Weezing, use Flamethrower!" Nidoking looked up to see Weezing inhale, about to unleash flames upon him.

Cypher didn't bother getting phased as he called out, "Empoleon, Aqua Jet!" His Water-type shot forward, encased in a stream of water, as he shot at Murkrow, bashing into him before he could dodge, and sending him reeling into Weezing, knocking it into looking upwards, blasting flames into the ceiling, creating a hole that led to above. The hole was actually close to where Ariana's Arbok was at, startling both Pokémon and trainer.

"What in the...?!" Ariana gasped, before growling, "Petrel! What are you doing down there?!"

"Hey, blame Giovanni's son!" he answered angrily, "This guy is a real pain in the butt!"

"Giovanni's...?!" Ariana started, before realizing who he was talking about. "Oh, that child...I see. So he came back."

"Wait a minute...Giovanni's son?" Kris asked, "Cypher?! Really?!"

"Yes. I know that child all too well..." she muttered, looking down at the hole. It was barely shown, but she had a slight somber expression across her face, thinking about him. She shook her head as she muttered to herself, "Stupid child should've stayed in Sinnoh like I told him to."

Kris was distracted for a moment, before shaking her head, and shouting, "Jolteon, Quick Attack!" Jolteon shot forward at Arbok at high speeds, bashing into him and sending him skidding back.

"Arbok, return!" Ariana called to her partner, returning her to her ball, before saying, "I'll show you how outclassed you are. Nidoqueen, go!" She tossed out a ball, and out came a Pokémon that looked like it should be a similar species to Cypher's Nidoking, only it was blue instead of pink.

"A Nidoqueen?!" Kris realized, pulling out her Pokédex. "Nidoqueen. The Drill Pokémon, and the evolved form of Nidorina. Nidoqueen's body is encased in extremely hard scales. It is adept at sending foes flying with harsh tackles. This Pokémon is at its strongest when it is defending its young."

"A Poison and Ground-type." Kris read, "Not good for my Jolteon."

"Nidoqueen, Earth Power!" Ariana shouted.

"Nidoking, Ice Beam!" Cypher shouted at the same time. Both of their Pokémon simultaneously unleashed their attacks, Nidoking sending glowing cracks along the ground, while Nidoking unleashed a light-blue beam from his mouth. Their attacks struck Jolteon and Murkrow respectively, knocking them out from impact.

"Jolteon!" Kris called out, before pulling out her ball, and saying, "Come back! You did a good job!"

"Ugh! Seriously?!" Petrel scoffed, putting Murkrow back into his ball, before looking to Cypher, "Guess you ain't just being a pushover. Then again..." He looked up at the hole in the ceiling, where he barely saw Ariana's face, "...it should be expected."

"You done talking?" Cypher asked, "Empoleon, Drill Peck!" Empoleon leapt forward, spinning like a drill at Weezing.

"Weezing, Flamethrower!" Petrel shouted, and his Weezing sent flames spewing at the spinning penguin. However, he was able to drill right through the attack, striking at his target, knocking him back in pain, causing him to crash into Petrel, where they both fell to the floor, unconscious.

"This is why Team Rocket fails every time." Cypher told him.

"Donphan, use Rock Slide!" Kris shouted from above. Cypher heard the sound of crashing rocks as her fight continued with Ariana.

"Tch! Looks like they found a way up, after all." he scoffed, "Nevermind. This is a waste of my time." He brought his two Pokémon back to their balls, looking at the director, who was starting to stir. "Does that dragon tamer not even care about this? Where's that compassion and love for Pokémon he was spouting about now?" He turned and walked back down the way he came, deciding to leave the Radio Tower.

"Golbat, Air Slash!" Proton ordered. Golbat unleashed a stream of razor-sharp winds flying at Espeon.

"Light Screen!" Ethan ordered. Espeon summoned up an invisible screen in front of her, creating a barrier that reduced the damage she took from the Air Slash. She still was exhausted from the battle she was having, but held on as Ethan shouted, "Use Psychic!" Her eyes and her gem on her forehead glowed as she wrapped Golbat in psychic energy, squeezing and stretching him about until he knocked him to one side, sending him crashing into the wall, before he fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Golbat, return!" Proton called out, returning him to his ball.

"So? Am I getting your attention?!" Ethan demanded, before seeing his Espeon, and saying, "You'd better take a rest. Come back!" He put her back into her ball.

"I admit, you are gaining my ire for you." Proton answered, pulling out a ball, "But you haven't drawn it out as that boy did before."

"Then I'll just have to push harder!" Ethan declared, readying his own Pokéball. They roared as they tossed out their balls, revealing a Nidoking and Ursaring, respectively, their muscular hands grasping each other as they tried to overpower the other.

"Nidoking, Poison Jab!" Proton ordered.

"Ursaring, Slash!" Ethan called out.

Both Pokémon pulled back a free hands, their hands glowing with poison and glowing claws, before striking at one another, hitting each other's faces, knocking each other back. Ursaring took the worst, as he got poisoned as a result.

"You'd best fear me now!" Proton told him, smirking at the success of his attack.

"You're the one who should be afraid." Ethan answered, getting a confused expression from the Executive, until he saw Ursaring roar as he glowed with energy. His Quick Feet ability was activating, boosting his speed.

Proton looked frustrated as he called out, "Nidoking, use Thrash!" His partner's eyes became enraged, before launching forward at his opponent.

"Dodge it!" Ursaring responded to Ethan's call, dodging and evading the thrashing assault with his ability.

"What's wrong?! You too afraid to face me?!" Proton demanded, "I thought you were trying to get my attention!"

"I already know that head-on battles are not enough to win!" Ethan answered, "And you're gonna find that out, too!"

Ursaring looked a bit worn from the poison seeping through him, before seeing Nidoking get exhausted, and become confused as a side effect of his attack. "There's our opening!" Ethan declared, "Use Swords Dance!" Ursaring concentrated while Nidoking was out of it, summoning swords around his body that boosted his strength. "And now, Slash, repeatedly!" he finished, causing his bear partner to unleash a series of slashing claws on Nidoking, causing him to not be able to retaliate. Then with one final slash, he was knocked out.

"How are you this strong?!" Proton gasped, shocked at his defeat.

"That's how you do it!" Ethan declared, as Ursaring roared in declaration. The trainer hastily dug into his pockets, pulling out a Pecha berry, tossing it to his partner, who took it and cured himself of his poison.

"I may have lost..." Proton growled, his fist curled as he was unable to win in this situation, but he still put up a front as he growled, "...but all you did was increase Team Rocket's wrath."

"Fine by me." Ethan answered, "Our determination to save the Pokémon will always surpass your wrath!"

"Nidoqueen, Poison Fang!" Ariana ordered.

"Donphan, move with Rollout!" Kris called out. Her Ground-type partner started to dash around the area, avoiding the poisonous fangs of his opponent. They were making it difficult to catch, let alone attack. She did attempt at one point, but Nidoqueen failed to strike her. That gave Donphan the opportunity to use his momentum to turn around and strike back, knocking Nidoqueen backwards.

"I hope there isn't any repercussions from this..." Kris muttered, "Use Earthquake!" Donphan jumped up and slammed hard on the ground, creating a great earthquake that shook the entire building, heavily damaging Nidoqueen. The people inside the building braced themselves from the shaking of Donphan's attack, panicking that it might cause damage.

"Nidoqueen, rise to your feet!" Ariana shouted, "Nothing like this is gonna stop you! Use Crunch!" Nidoqueen got to her feet, and charged at Donphan, its fangs glowing, ready to bite down on Donphan.

"Counter with Fire Fang!" Kris shouted, and her partner charged back at Nidoqueen, his fangs burning with flames. They chomped down on one another, causing an explosion of flames. Both females braced themselves, before looking to see the flames dissipate, revealing Donphan panting, but holding his ground. Nidoqueen looked like she was holding her ground as well. However, she couldn't stand anymore, and crashed to the ground, unconscious.

"Way to go, Donphan!" Kris cheered, punching the air in victory.

"Hmph! Okay, I'll admit you have power." Ariana admitted, putting Nidoqueen back into her ball, oddly retaining a smile as she looked to her opponent, "But your power is nothing compared to what is to come."

"What are you talking about?" Kris asked, as she and Donphan looked ready to continue the fight.

"You will find out soon enough." she answered, closing her eyes, "Giovanni, if you can hear us, we will have you see us, no matter what. And what we have plan will put all of Johto to its knees!" Kris looked worried at what she was meaning by that.

"Dewott, Razor Shell!" "Magmar, Thunder Punch!" Jackson and Archer's Pokémon charged at one another, with crescent water blades and electric fists, respectively. They locked attacks with one another, before pushing each other back.

"Dance with blades!" Jackson ordered.

"Bout time!" Dewott declared, readying a swordsman stance, before launching at Magmar with his electric fists, dodging his slugs and coming around with slashes of his own, too talented and evasive to get a hit in.

"You impress me. Your Pokémon are skilled with their style of combat." Archer told Jackson, "But futile, nevertheless. Lava Plume!" Magmar unleashed a blast of flames and smoke from around his body, taking Dewott in its wake. He was encased in it, before being sent flying in pain, hurting from the attack.

"Dewott, hang in there!" Jackson shouted, "Use Water Pulse!" Dewott was able to regain himself, turn around and unleashed a ball of compressed water in the middle of the cloud of smoke and fire, hitting Magmar, knocking him back from the super-effective attack.

"Persistent!" Archer scoffed, "Magmar, Fire Blast!" His Spitfire Pokémon inhaled deeply, before firing off flames in the kanji of 'fire', aiming at the midair Dewott.

"You can cut through that, yeah?!" Jackson called out.

"Who do you think I am?!" Dewott answered, readying his scalchops, producing Night Slash from both blades. He brought them down as the fiery attack enveloped him, and there was an explosion. However, Dewott was able to power his way through, bringing both blades down onto Magmar, landing right in front of him. There was a momentary pause, until Magmar fell backwards, unable to continue. Dewott stood up, turning to Archer, his body covered in burns, but still able to fight.

"Impressive. That Pokémon isn't even native to this region." Archer stated, putting his ball away, "How did you manage to claim that Pokémon?"

"Through sheer luck." Jackson answered, "In fact, a lot of my Pokémon were met by luck and coincidence. But it's through that luck that made me have a team that I can trust just as much as they trust me! And that's what we are trying to improve as we go on our adventure, in order to achieve our dreams!"

"Trust... You realize that you and your Pokémon are the same as Team Rocket." Archer responded, getting a surprised look from the said trainer, "If you care about trust so much, then you should know the trust we, Team Rocket Executives, have in our boss's return. The trust we share with one another to accomplish our goals. That gives us the drive, the ambition, to achieve what we worked so hard for. Why do you tread on what we want when we are similar to you?"

"Because I do not let others suffer in order to achieve my dream!" Jackson answered scornfully, "Trust is further improved by love, and you people do not love anyone or anything! You people are just lusting over power, and will cause all sorts of torment just to get it!"

Archer observed Jackson closely, before stating, "You are no ordinary child, are you? You talk with experience beyond that of your peers. Regardless, you will not stop our ambitions. We will accomplish our goals; to bring back Giovanni, and to bring 'them' out."

"Them?" Jackson echoed, as he, Dewott, and Leafeon looked to one another.

Suddenly, there was a screaming roar from outside. It made the trio jump, as Archer, turning to look outside, grinned menacingly as he stated, "Ah, right on time! They came to us, after all!"

Jackson looked outside, and saw something large flying through the sky towards them. When it got closer, he was shocked to see that it was something that looked like a cross between a dragon, a bird, and a dinosaur of some kind. It was white with a blue underbelly, dark blue horns that also acted as eye masks, plates that fluttered down his back, and dark blue spikes on the end of his tail.

It looked enraged as it shouted its cry again at the radio tower, flying overhead as Jackson and his team braced themselves. "What in the heck was that?!" Dewott exclaimed.

"Jackson, is that...?!" Leafeon asked her trainer, who looked startled. He recognized the Pokémon from the performance the Kimono Sisters did in Ecruteak City.

"That's Lugia!" Jackson exclaimed.

"And the other one should appear as well..." Archer continued. No sooner did he say this than did another loud cry rang through the sky, and another Pokémon appeared. This one was far more bird than Lugia, looking like something like a peacock or a phoenix. It was predominately red, with green, white and gold plumage to boot, including on the crest of its head and its tail feathers. It also emanated a slight rainbowish hue as it flew.

"Ho-Oh?!" Jackson gasped, recognizing it.

"The legendary Pokémon of the two towers in Ecruteak!" Leafeon gasped, "Why would they appear?!"

Archer cackled, getting Jackson's attention, and saw him looking insane at the sight. "It is as the deity told us! Cause as much havoc as you possibly can in the entire region. Drive the Pokémon insane, and the legendary protectors of the region will appear to stop us! And sure enough, they appear."

"That's the other reason you did this?!" Jackson demanded, "What purpose are you trying to achieve?!"

"Hmm..." Archer calmed down as he looked to see the pair of Pokémon come together, holding themselves in the air as they glared down right at him. "It would seem they are not affected by the radio waves as we thought. As expected from such powerful Pokémon. But we had a plan for that, as well." He then raised his hand, where a microphone was attached to the cuff of his shirt, and he ordered, "Do it."

Up above them, four Team Rocket members were preparing two special sonic machine. They had a pair of feathers on them, which looked like they came off the bodies of Lugia and Ho-Oh. They placed them into compartments into the machine, closing them in. "Placing in the DNA information..." one of the grunts informed the others.

"Calculating sonar frequency..." a female grunt called out, before saying, "Frequency set!"

"Activating concentrated soundwave!" the first grunt called out, "Target is Lugia and Ho-Oh. Fire!" They activated the machines, and they unleashed the concentrated waves, targeting the two Pokémon. The two saw the attack targeting them, and they evaded before getting hit with the frequency.

"Aren't they clever?" Archer huffed.

"We won't let you get away with this!" Jackson called out, turning to his team, "Let's get up top and stop that machine!"

"On it!" Dewott shouted.

"Let's save them!" Leafeon told Jackson.

Archer looked to him, before casually tossing a ball out behind him, and out came a hellhound of a Pokémon. "Houndoom, Dark Pulse." His Pokémon answered by shooting a stream of dark rings at Dewott, who screamed in pain from the damage, causing him to crash to the ground, unable to continue.

"Dewott!" Leafeon cried.

"Your interference ends here, young man." Archer told Jackson as he put Dewott back into his ball.

Just then, there was a plumage of smoke that came from the floor below, catching Jackson off guard, and to shield his face from it as it rose from the stairs. Out of them came Ariana and her Arbok, who raced towards Archer and Houndoom. "Archer, I regret informing you that Proton and Petrel have failed us." she told him, "They have been taken into custody by the police."

"They what?!" Archer growled, realizing half of the executives were taken in. He then calmed again as he said, "Well, no matter. Priorities come first. Let's deal with our main objective. After that, we will punish those two for failing us."

Jackson blew away the smoke with his sword, and looked to see Archer had Houndoom blast open a hole in the window with Flamethrower. "What are you-?!" he started.

"Houndoom, Dark Pulse!" Archer pointed to Lugia as he flew.

"Arbok, Sludge Bomb!" Ariana pointed to Ho-Oh.

The two begun firing their attacks together at the Legendary Tower Duo, getting their attention, and getting hit by the attacks. While it wasn't able to do much to such powerful Pokémon, this did stop them for a time, allowing the rocket grunts on the roof to shoot the sonic frequency weapons again. This time, they got a face-full of the wave, causing them to cry out in pain and agony, before their pupil's shrunk, completely out of their mind as they screamed out in rage.

"No!" Jackson shouted, as Kris and Ethan raced up the steps, joining him and his team.

"Is that Lugia?!" Ethan gasped.

"And Ho-Oh!" Kris followed, "But what are they doing to them?!"

"Our ultimate weapons; special sonar weapons to specifically target Ho-Oh and Lugia." Archer answered, turning to the trio and Leafeon, "One blast has now made them no less than wild beasts on a rampage. They will go out of control as they fly about the Johto region, destroying everything in their path. And we are the only ones who will be protected by them."

"You kids thought you were trying to stop the radio wave from causing havoc across the region, when we had an even bigger goal in mind." Ariana finished, "With these two beasts, Team Rocket shall take over the entire region, and Giovanni will recognize our ambitions, and he shall come back to us."

Jackson, Leafeon, Ethan, and Kris looked frustrated, and heard the two Legendary Pokémon roar in rage as Lugia suddenly unleashed his Aeroblast attack, sending a destructive beam from his mouth down into Goldenrod, destroying an entire street. At the same time, Ho-Oh unleashed Sacred Fire, sending multi-colored flames from its wings down the other direction, causing a portion of the city to burn.

"Now, we must be off." Archer told the group of trainers, as a carrier airship appeared outside, "We must guide them to their first target."

"The place where you conveniently placed Latias at." Ariana told Jackson, who was now fearing what they had planned. They and their Pokémon hopped into the aircraft, and it took off as Ho-Oh and Lugia were suddenly forced towards the direction thanks to the machines up top, which were loaded onto a pair of carrier aircraft.

"This is not good..." Jackson muttered, "They are heading to Ecruteak City!" Ethan and Kris gasped as they looked to him, before looking to their enemies flying up north to that very direction. Things were not looking good for them.
