"Uncle! Uncle!" Arthur yelled as he opened the doors to his uncle's chambers. "Uncle Agravaine I saw-"

Arthur abruptly closed his mouth as he saw his uncle's glare. He sighed made his way out the door and knocked harshly on it.

"Enter."

"Hello, Uncle."

"Arthur. You should know better than to barge into my chambers. That is not the proper mannerisms of a prince."

"I apologize for my behavior."

"As you should. It is because of acts like this that the council decided to postpone your coronation."

"I'm sure." Arthur mutters sarcastically.

"I know dealing with your father's passing is troubling for you. That is why I am here. To prepare you for the crown. As regent of Camelot, I want nothing, but the best for the kingdom and the kingdom needs a leader, not a child who needs to be reminded to knock."

Arthur ground his teeth together and kept a straight face. "You are right uncle. I am unfit for the throne. I am thankful for your guidance."

Arthur watched as his uncle smiled, "I am only trying to help. So, what did you see?"

"See. Right, I came because I saw… an invitation. Yes, an invitation from Sir Leon. He is taking a group of knights hunting. I will be joining him. I thought you should be made aware."

"He made an invitation to go hunting? Well, you were right to inform me. Have a pleasant hunting trip when shall you be going?"

"Tonight. Tomorrow night. We will be going over the details during patrol tonight."

"Good. Is that all?"

"Yes." Arthur bowed and made his way out of his uncle's chambers perhaps his uncle isn't the best person to know what he saw.

Merlin grumbled as he opened his palm and still hadn't seen a flame appear. He was great at instinctual magic since his birth. He was a natural, yet spells took much longer to master. Merlin looked at his palm and pulling energy from the earth and air he willed a small flame to appear. Without a spell.

"Nimueh won't be happy you aren't practicing properly."

"I don't care Morgause. Why should it matter if I say a stupid spell if the results are the same."

"It just does okay. Besides once you master actual spell casting you won't tire as easily."

"I'm not tired."

"Right."

"What are you doing here Morgause."

"Your father wants to know if you are going to dinner tonight."

"I already told him I would. What's the real reason?"

"Morgana she has magic."

"No, really? I thought as an oracle that was a given."

"She's a seer, not an oracle."

"I don't see the difference."

"You are insufferable. Morgana is showing instinctive magic. Like yours, but different."

"Different how?"

"She gets mad and stuff blows up. That has never happened before usually she just has visions, and mother gave her a bracelet that was supposed to help her deal with the bad ones."

"Did it not work?"

"Oh, the bracelet works that's not the problem."

"Then what is?"

"Morgana needs help controlling her powers."

"I tried teaching her some spells, but it didn't work."

"What do you want me to do?"

"Help her control her powers instinctively. You're her friend she trusts you and you are the only one who knows instinctive magic."

"I'm not a teacher. She should go to Nimueh. She's a high priestess and actually qualified to teach."

"She's not ready for Nimueh. She doesn't want anyone to know. I made her a promise to help her without getting our parents or Nimueh and Alice involved, and I meant it. Please."

Merlin squinted his eyes at the blond witch and after a moment nodded. "For Morgana, I guess I'll try. When should I go see her?"

"Tonight. After dinner at her chambers."

"Umm… I'm not supposed to be in a Lady's chamber's father would-"

"Balinor is not going to know unless you tell him. Now, are you in or."

Merlin turned to look towards the castle's window from the outside it was charmed to look abandoned but from the inside it was beautiful. He looked at the window where he saw a figure quickly take a step back. She was watching them. He nodded in the direction of the window before turning to the blond sorceress.

"I'm in."
