Sirius Black couldn't catch a break it seemed.

Only, a few days ago he got to know that his godson is competing in a tournament that was discontinued in the past due to the high death rate in it. He got some amount of relief knowing that his cous.. The second cousin, an accomplished Auror was training him.

Today he had an important task ahead of him it was the first of his many to do right by his family and tight he would, everything was in place, everyone did their part now it all lays on his shoulder

He got ready in Wizengamot robes of his house which were Midnight Black with Black family Coat of arms: a Thestral against a dark blue shield in the background, he hated these robes but he had to wear them to look the part of Lord Black

Striding down the hall he paused to look at the portrait of his Grandfather. Only Man he looked up to after Charlus. He was a traditionalist but not bigoted as to other members of his family. He was a true Lord Black! He knew in his head that he was nowhere near close to the man he idolized but he will try his best.

"Grandfather, I can't believe what I am about to say but I finally understand what you meant when you said it is not easy to be head of house and family. So all I say is watch me as I once again unite our family and guide your grand nephew, my godson, as he has a life full of hardships ahead of him. Watch you old git" adding a little mirth to his last line.

He took a deep breath calming himself as he whispered "Let's bring Bella home"

With his firm and determined look which was unusual for the marauder he flooed to Ministry Atrium and made his way to Wizengamot chamber which was in the deepest level of the building.

Entering the room he scowled seeing a room full of bigots who were a majority and only a few honest-to-word wizards. He knew it has been always like this and was getting worse as the days went by. The political scenario was rotten with corruption, bribery, and backstabbing. It was a mess he avoided long enough but couldn't anymore.

'In for a galleon in for a knut', he mused as he took his rightful place on the black family seat.

After waiting for a few minutes as people filled the vacant seats, Dumbledore sanding up took center stage as Chief Warlock announcing "To Lords and Ladies of Wizengamot, I hereby announce this session of Wizengamot to commence. We would like to welcome Lord Sirius Orion Black of the Ancient and Most Noble House black among us"

He looked at Sirius smiling who nodded back before standing up and saying "Thank you Chief Warlock I am honored by your humble word. I would also like to take this moment to announce that any alliance made by House Black after my Grandfather Lord Arcturus and you are all to pay the monetary debts you owe us at the earliest" with that he ended taking his seat.

"I announce this session of Autumn session of the Wizengamot open. Those who want their agendas discussed on the floor is yours" ending Dumbledore went to his seat of Chief Warlock.

It was not a second after, that Sirius stood up beating Thicknesse to the punch who glared at him.

Taking the center stage he started "Fellow Lords and Ladies, Chief Warlock and our esteemed Minister I would like to bring forth the injustice that was done by the previous governing party 13 years ago. Two members of house black were imprisoned without trial and so I would like to demand a trial by veritaserum for that member of my House"

Dumbledore with a curious gleam in his eyes inquired "And who would that member be Lord Black?"

Sirius gave a predatory grin answering "Chief Warlock I would like to demand a trial for Bellatrix Black"

The room gasped collectively as the whispers and hushed chats broke out in the chamber. Dumbledore knowing the pandemonium it was about to create tried to end it before it began not feeling particularly good about what Sirius was trying to achieve, "Lord Black I think that would not be necessary as she is a convicted death eater"

Sirius shook his head "Chief Warlock, I have reasons to believe that she is innocent just like me she has spent the better part of life in the Azkaban and now I would like to make sure her innocence is proved"

Dumbledore nodded "Very well we could…."

Before he could complete Sirius cut him saying "Chief Warlock I know that you can assign a date for trial but if I may" getting a nod from the old wizard he continued "As it is today all members Wizengamot are present. I know how precious their time is, hence I would like to have a trial today so that it is not wasted for another day"

Fudge "I concur, Lord Black but we have to transfer the convict to our Ministry holding cell which will take some time so I …"

As on cue, Amelia interjected saying "Sorry for cutting you Minister but I would like to inform you that the convict in question is already in the holding cell. Lord Black informed and requested me to do so before this day though it was only cause he would like to meet her" throwing a glare at Sirius.

In response he simply smiled innocently saying "Madam Bones I assure you it's purely coincidental" before turning to Fudge, continuing "I understand my request is hereby acceptable, Minster?"

Fudge gave a reluctant nod prompting Dumbledore to look at Amelia saying "Madam Bones would you please ask Aurors to escort convict to courtroom 10, Lords and Ladies please move to said location"

As such the room emptied and all the members moved to courtroom 10 as instructed, seating there Sirius looked at smug faces of death eaters who were hiding behind their money and status with a knowing grin of his own.

Doors of the chamber opened revealing two Aurors escorting Bellatrix. They made her sit down on the chair in the middle of the floor and bound her in shackles.

With that Amelia started announcing "Bellatrix…" she looked at the paper in front of her in confusion before continuing "… Black you are here for the trail by vertiaserum requested by Head of you House Lord Sirius Orion Black, do you accept?"

Bellatrix in surprise searched for Sirius in the chamber and found him simply nodding with a smile. With tears welling up in her eyes she turned back to Amelia saying "Yes I do Madam Bones"

Amelia was visible gobsmacked as she saw Bellatrix who was known for her insanity and calling people names is, Normal? And adding to that can address her properly! Breaking out of her thoughts she continued the proceedings saying "Very well" before turning to Kinsley "Auror Kingsley administer the serum", Kingsley moved towards Bellatrix expecting her to resist but to his and everyone's surprise, she opened her mouth willingly. Shaking out of the moment of surprise he gave her 3 drops of Serum.

Amelia started "What is your name?"

Bellatrix under the effect of the serum replied "Bellatrix Dorea Black"

Amelia "are you guilty of crimes you are accused of?"

Bellatrix "No"

Amelia "Do you accept that you did all those things you were accused of?"

Bellatrix "Yes but I was not in control of my actions"

Amelia "Explain"

Bellatrix "I was married to Rudolphus Lestrange by marriage contract which was drawn by my then Head of House Orion Black it bind my will and views according to that of my husband thus I was not in control of my action aside of 2 instances"

Amelia "Tell me one of the 2"

Bellatrix "It was when my husband, brother-in-law and Barty Crouch Jr tortured Frank Longbottom his wife Alice. I was ordered to kill their son Neville who was a baby I couldn't do it so I hide him in the closet and lied to them"

Ameliapondered asking her about the inner circle members. She had the source she needed to end all this in one fell swoop right here. But then it would be not air-tight cause without enough evidence she would have a repeat of what happened 13 years ago.

All the prominent lords said they did what they did under imperious making them unaccountable for their action. Even the truth serum could be fooled if one has a strong enough occulemency shield in place.

She trusted Bellatrix because the exposure she had to Dementors crushed all occulemency shields she had. So not seeing merit in asking any further questions he decided to end this trial.

Amelia looking at Bellatrix announced "Bellatrix Dorea Black, we have heard your truth and now I would like the committee members to vote, Blue if innocent and Red if guilty, now I would like to see your decision" it was then that every member raised their wand and chamber was lit Blue

Amelia "Very well, Bellatrix Black you are hereby released from all charges and will be compensated for wrongful imprisonment for 13 years, you are a free witch in the eyes of the ministry" and hit the gavel

Dumbledore stood up "As it seems the time of the session is all but used also in light of the change in the number of changes I hereby dismiss this session" with an exasperated sigh

As everyone left Sirius beelined towards Bella.

He knew she must have too many questions for him and he had answers for her too. As he reached her she the look of multiple questions adorned her face to which he held his hand up saying "I will explain it at home" she simply just hugged him and whispered "Thank you" as she parted.

Another person was coming towards her, Augusta Longbottom, Iron Lady of Wizengamot who struck fear in the hearts of all the politicians including Dumbledore.

She stopped in front of them and hugged Bellatrix which was completely uncharacteristic of her it was a brief hug they parted quickly she just said "Thank you for saving my Grandson" leaving before Bellatrix could say anything else

"Well, Bella I have to say you broke the Iron Lady" Sirius commented making Bellatrix chuckle. Seeing this Sirius smiled saying "Let's get out of here I am done playing Lord Black for today"

Bella nodded saying "Ya Siri and I need a shower more than anything, you know what I mean"

Sirius chuckled before scrunching his nose before replying "Yes let's go you smell really bad!" making both of them laugh as they made their way to Atrium, where Andi was waiting.

Seeing her, Bellatrix ran to her sister taking her in a Bear hug, crying almost making Andi stumble back a little. Andi was also crying hugged her twin back.

Sirius reaching them with his own eyes tearing said "We should get going" both sisters nodded and all of them flooed to Grimmauld Place

All three of the black cousins were now sitting in the Kitchen at Dinning table.

Bella looked at her older sister "I-I wanted to come and see you Andi but then I was trapped in that prison which was my Marriage contract"

Andi waved it off saying "I know Bella, it will take some time to get used to you being free and here, for now, go and take shower. I will fix something to eat for you cause Merlin! knows you need it"

Bella couldn't help but smile at her older sister seeing that years haven't changed her, she was the same caring and loving woman as she remembered

Entering her childhood bedroom she smiled in nostalgia. It was the same as she remembered walls were crimson red which was he favorite color and her bed sheet was silky violet with the same colored pillow covers.

Sighing in she shed her tattered and filthy clothes standing in front of her mirror naked as the day she was born. She was a shadow of her former self, still had some of her curves and grace. She saw the dress Andi already picked out for her to wear. It was a lavender summer dress that she concluded had a self-fitting charm. She took a long shower and washed her hair of the years of dirt thinking over the events of the day.

She came down to the kitchen only to find her niece, chatting with Andi and Sirius. who Seeing her she greeted "Wotcher Auntie, Myself Tonks"

Bella chuckled and said "Hey Dora"

"Don't call me that only one person can call me that and you are not him, call me Tonks" Nymphadora growled.

She was warned by her sister to not call her by her full first name but she didn't know she would get such a reaction.

"OkayWell take a seat cause we have a lot to talk about," Sirius said

Entering the kitchen she sat across Nymphadora asking "So let's start by how I was freed from my mental prison, any idea?"

Sirius nodded "Yes, it started when I went to Gringotts to claim the lordship of our house and take a look at finances that's when the Account manager Informed me about how you were forced to marry under the contract and how it bind you will and views….." He then explained her and Dora's marriage contract to Harry, events of the world cup, and Fleur also him being in the Tri-Wizard tournament.

By the end Bella was teary-eyed, Sirius looked at her saying in a low voice "I know it is not what you expected bu…" he was cut off by Bella squealing which surprised all three of them.

She continued saying "No! You moron, I am not sad, on the contrary, I am happy to finally marry the one I wanted to since he was born. Of course, back then it was just a joke for others but not for me, it never was. I forget about him due to the marriage contract that bastard, I always knew I was missing a part of me but couldn't remember who it was. Now I know that I will be complete with him and it will be hard to share and weird to share him with two other women. One of who is my niece while other a veela, but I will love him all the same and I will wait for Christmas as I have waited this long I can wait some more" she smiled ear to ear.

Sirius gave a sad smile saying "Take care of him Bella cause he needs love more than anyone in this forsaken world, for now, let's focus on helping him survive this thing"
