******************************************************************************Summer of 1995, DAY 1******************************************************************************
The First Morning of Summer of 1995 came with new rays penetrating through the curtain of the window in Harry's Room. The soft light of morning is accompanied by gentle warmth and a cool breeze. On stray ray of sun fell on his eyes making him stir for a minute before he opened his eyes groggily shielding them from sun rays. He sat up in the bed and after a minute he got out of his bed to do his normal routine.
After getting ready he stepped out of his room and made his downstairs to the kitchen. Entering the kitchen he saw Andromeda preparing for breakfast he greeted the woman "Good morning Andi" as he stepped forward to the counter to help her.
The elder woman smiled at him returning the greeting saying "Morning Harry!"
The teen smiled asking "Do you need any help?" looking at the spread of ingredients he guessed that she was making French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and some oranges.
She just started working on the eggs cracking eggs, Andi turned to him saying "Oh no Dear don't worry I can do it on my own"
He shook his head saying "It's Okay Andi I love cooking so let me help you" he took some of the oranges out of the fruit basket cutting and squeezing juice. Seeing him at work Andi beamed as she worked on the eggs adding the seasoning.
After 30 minutes first down was Amelia only to see her Fiancee helping Andromeda
Harry turned hearing footsteps coming into the kitchen he turned to see Amelia standing in at the entrance, and he beamed at her greeting "Morning Amy, How did you sleep?"
Amelia walked towards him with a smile saying "Like never before" leaning and giving him a feather kiss on the cheek. For some reason, he was not as red as he was last night, all the kiss caused was a speck of light pink dust on his cheek as he only gave her a shy smile. Amelia took her seat at the table greeting the only other person in the kitchen "Good morning Andromeda"
The Brown-haired woman turned as the beacon in the pan was ready greeting Amelia sarcastically saying "Ah! You finally saw me I thought you would never notice me seeing you both were busy. Good morning to you too Amelia" Amelia snorted before she went to get the newspaper from the front door of the house. It was when she came back and sat down on the seat there was a loud noise
*THUD*
"I am fine, I am okay just stumble down the last couple of steps" came the voice of Dora making all three of the kitchen occupants chuckle hearing it.
As a slightly grumpy, groggy, and disheveled Dora enters the kitchen. Snickering a little at her state, Harry asked "Rough Morning Dora?"
The woman in question snarled "not now Harry- Bear" before walking up to him and hugging him.
He hugged his fiancee back saying "Good morning Dora" he only received an incoherent mumble from the woman he held in his arms which he guessed was 'Good morning Harry-bear' making him chuckle once as he said "Okay now take a seat breakfast is ready"
Dora broke the hug giving him a kiss on his cheek before seating beside her boss greeting "Mornin' Amelia" cheerfully.
Amelia smiled saying "Good morning Dora" and going back to reading Daily Prophet.
Soon everyone woke up and made their way to Kitchen by the time for breakfast. Fleur and Susan were sitting on either side of him while Amelia and Dora were sitting across the table. Apolline was sitting on the left of Dora. While Sirius and Remus were sitting in the head chairs on either side of the table
"So Pup got any plans for Summer?" Sirius asked taking a sip from his glass of Orange Juice.
Harry nodded saying swallowing before saying "I do. I plan to train and aside from that I have a few other things that need my attention" he ended up eying all of his fiancees making the women smile at him.
Remus chuckled at this not so subtle gesture of Harry saying "You're a smart man Harry unlike your father or even godfather for that matter"
"Oi! Your no better yourself!" Sirius in an indignant tone before continuing "Anyways we should hurry or Harry's Ladies at Black Manor will kill me for not bringing him first thing in the morning"
"Monsieur Black zank you for allowing me to stay at wiz you in your 'ome soon I will find my own apartment and move out" Fleur said curtly.
Harry shook his head saying "No you will not Fleur"
"Quel?" Fleur said in a surprised tone, she knew it was not in her boyfriend's nature to be like other pureblood men of Magical society to deny women her independence which confused her even more hearing him deny her.
Sighing slightly Harry said "I know what it sounded like but it's not what you think. I want you to stay with us at Black Manor only cause you living anywhere else will be dangerous now that Voldemort " hearing the name of Dark lord made everyone flinch as he continued " is back. His return paints targets on the back of everyone I love and I don't want to lose any of you. That's why I want you to stay with us in the black manor where it is safe and it's not just you" he looked around the table continuing "but everyone"
All 4 of his fiancees nodded smiling as they understood the root cause of his worry. Amelia gave him an appreciative look thinking 'He is caring and loving enough but at the same time is a self-sacrificing noble idiot but he is my idiot' before standing up as she was finished with the breakfast saying "It's time for me and Tonks to leave I will see all of you later at Black manor" with a smile directed towards Harry who returned it back, she exited the kitchen
Dora inhaled the last bits of her food and swallowed it half-chewed. She finished a glass of her orange juice before standing up, going around the table to Harry and kissing him on the lips saying "I will see you later Harry- Bear" and looking up to everyone " you too folk, Tonks out!" before she turned to leave and after a moment everyone heard a distant *thud* sound followed by Dora reassuring she is okay before the sound of fire flaring twice signifying departures of two women.
As everyone finished their breakfast it was time to leave to what would be their home for the next 2 months for Harry and Susan while a permanent home for Adults now included Fleur. All of them floo'ed to manor one by one last was Harry.
It was the first time he came out of the floo and was not spit out like a rag-doll as he followed Fleur's advice from last year. As soon as he came out he was hit with twin missiles of Black and Honey blonde making him fall on his backside. Laying there with his arms around his two fiancees it was hard for him to breathe just like Christmas he croaked out "Ladi…es…. Ne….ed ai..r"
Both Bella and Rose released him muttering apologies making him feel like a deja vu. It was not a moment later that Bella asked him "Harry- bear how are you? Are you okay?" she fussed stepping closer to him checking with her eyes for injuries or any other ailments.
Harry held the frantic woman by her shoulders saying calming her "Sh! Sh! Sh! Bella I am okay no serious injuries aside from a minor scratch on my right arm, so don't worry" brunette witch nodded before looking into the emerald orbs of her fiance's eyes asking
"He is back isn't he?" her question only got a stiff nod as he hugged her. The nod was only confirming what she already knew and strengthening her resolve even more than it was before. She was done running from her demons she was going to fight them just like her fiance in her arms. For now, she reveled in the warmth of Harry's embrace.
Breaking the hug Harry caressed Bella's face saying "Don't worry Bella we will face everything together" leaning toward her giving her a deep soul-searing kiss. He registered the taste of her lips which was of Cinnamon and while she smelled of lavender.
As the kiss ended Bella hummed saying "I forgot what you said, can you say that again" with a little dazed look on her face which made him chuckle.
It was then that Rose who was standing behind Bella cleared her throat saying "Bella who is hoarding now. ha?" quirking her eyebrows while tapping her foot impatiently, her hands folded as she was glaring at the back of Bella biting her lower lip.
Bella half-turned looking at Rose smirking "Harry- Bear do you smell that? Something's burning" her comment made Rose-red in embarrassment.
He moved towards an embarrassed woman saying "Now, now don't tease Rosie too much" as he took her in a one-arm hug.
Rose buried her face into Harry's chest after hearing her new pet name from him. Her action caused another round of chuckles in the room. Wrapping his arms around her Harry led her to the couch where everyone joined them. Rose was now seating beside him laying her head on his shoulder and Bella did the same on the other side.
"Okay Pup I have some things planned about this summer in terms of your training" getting a nod from his godson Sirius continued, "we will continue the physical exercise just like you have been doing for the past year. From what Dora told me you are pretty good at DADA but all other subjects are not up to mark. I know it was out of necessity that you exceed in defense but lacked back in other subjects. This summer we will rectify it" he continued after getting a nod from his Godson who looked embarrassed from his flaws bluntly pointed out in front of everyone.
Sirius realized what his godson was feeling at that moment as it was clearly shown on his face. He shook his head saying "Don't Pup, knowing your weakness and acknowledging it is the first step to getting better and stronger by working on them" after getting an understanding nod from Harry, he continued,
"We all will train you in dueling as there are different styles of dueling that you can learn and develop your own style in the process. Amelia will teach you all about our pureblood traditions and customs along with politics as she is regularly tackling all that in her job. Remus will teach you Care of Magical Creatures you may think it's not that important but I can't stress enough how wrong you are Pup. Rose where will teach you the way of sword and potions with Narcissa" his last sentence caused everyone to look at Rose in surprise who sunk back to the plush sofa flushed due to all the attention she was getting all of a sudden.
Susan was first to verbalize her surprise "You know sword fighting! That's so cool can I learn too?" her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Remus nodded snickering saying "You can Ms. Bones in fact you along with Ms. Greengrass and Ms. Delacour should learn as it is a valuable skill for a situation where you can't you magic"
"So we will get our own swords then?" Harry asked with his excitement bubbling and showing on his face.
Sirius shook his head saying "No Pup learning sword fight will take at least a year before you can use a real sword so till then wooden training swords with the same weight as a real sword to make you comfortable for when you get the real one"
Harry's face fell but only slightly as the aspect of learning sword fighting was too exciting for it to be brought down by such a menial reason of not getting a real sword.
"Oh and Andi here will teach you Occulmency and some basic healing to all of you" Sirius added finally ending his explanation.
Harry cocked her head in confusion asking "What is Occulumency?"
"Occulumency is the art of protecting your mind from foreign intrusion and helps you control your emotions when you need them under control I suspect Ms. Bones already knows it?" Andi asked and received a nod as an answer from Susan.
Harry's eyes widened as he asked in awe "You can read someone's mind?"
Fleur shook her head saying "Non 'Arry not exactly you can only see memories of the past events and not what ze person is zinking at zat moment zough zat too is very dangerous as anyone can know your deepest darkest secret without your permission. Ze skill used to do zat is called Ligilimancy. It is done by transferring your consciousness into ozzer persons mind."
Andi looked at her impressed by her knowledge of the subject as she said: "Correct Ms. Delacour" with a smile adorning her face as she stood up saying "Well we will discuss details a little later right now I need to get going its time for me to leave too" smiling and leaving through the same floo she entered mere minutes ago.
"So when do we start?" Harry asked eager to learn to fight to protect himself and others he cared for. Remus grinned looking at Sirius who also spotted a grin as he turned back to Harry saying "We will start tomorrow morning, I and Padfoot will sort out the schedule for the summer. It will be a fun summer" shooting a feral grin at all the teens.
Sirius stood up saying "Well I have a meeting at the ministry and then at Gringotts so I will take my leave, I will be back by lunch" leaving from floo. Remus followed soon saying he had some order business.
"So what should we do now?" Harry wondered seating in the room full of people.
Susan smiled saying "Well we can do lots of things but I think the first thing we should unpack and then finish our summer homework so we can focus on the training without worrying about it for the rest of the summer" Harry's face grimaced think about the school work but seeing it was a good point he gave a reluctant nod.
Fleur too agreed with Susan's logic saying "Oui, 'Arry zat is a good idea and while you complete your summer 'omework I will send some letters to institutions applying for either Cursebreaker, Enchantress or Magical item Appraiser"
Harry sighed saying "Okay then let's get it over with" standing up along with Susan, Fleur, and Apolline leaving for the first floor of the house to unpack.
Rose too stood up saying "I will be in my room" leaving Bella and Narcissa in the lounging area.
Bella sighed closing her eyes leaning back on the couch in contentment saying "Finally I can spend some time Harry- bear"
Narcissa snorted "Yeah like 2 months of time, what's so great about him anyway?" her questions gained her a shocked look from her older sister, she shrugged "What he is only a scrawny kid and nothing else, his only claim to fame is him being arch-enemy of Dark lord"
Shaking her head chuckling "Well Cissy he is miles and bound better than the ex-husbands of either of us. You are going to tutor him for the next two months so see him yourself and who knows you might be charmed by him too" last part in more of a suggestive tone.
"I am not that easy to get Bella and especially to a teen no less" Narcissa scoffed smugly at her sister.
Bella shot a challenging grin at her younger sister "Cissy I never said he will actively pursue you in fact by the end of this summer you will be one pursuing him, I can bet on it"
Narcissa raised her saying "Oh a little overconfident aren't we Bella?"
Bella shook her head once again " No Just confident but I think you are scared that you will fall for him that's why you're not agreeing to the bet" smirked seeing that her sister was getting annoyed by her confidence. She knew which buttons to press to rile her sister up.
Huffing younger black sister nodded "Bet, I will see you after this summer same as I am now alone with no fantasies about your fiance then you have to agree he is nothing special" as she stood up retiring to her room.
"It's going to be a fun summer" Bella mused.
