Team 13 walked to the Hokage tower, Yugou walking in front leading her team with narrow eyes, behind her were a bored Naruto, a depressed Satsuki and Yakumo following behind.
Yugou was pissed at her two students, having seen the report on Naruto's criminal record, been in jail quite a few times which he shouldn't be, seeing the arrest as a miss carriage of justice.
Naruto didn't care about what was happening, he was happy to start the day without Satsuki getting on his ass or Yakumo looking at him weird, both have been quite seen this morning.
Satsuki looks depressed, she went home yesterday to see Yugou there with her mother, father, and her two brothers.
FLASHBACK
Uchiha Clan Compound
Satsuki opens the door to see Sensei Yugou looking at her parents and her brothers, all turning to see her at the front door.
"Oh shit" Satsuki thought to herself, aware Yugou was going to talk to her but not in front of her parents.
"Satsuki, glad you made it" Yugou said, a look of anger as her parents looked at her.
"Satsuki, come sit down with your brother" Fugaku said, getting her to sit with her brother Sasuke as he looks uneasy as well.
"Young lady, what are we hearing about you and Sasuke pranking others and blaming someone else?" Mikoto asked, getting mad at her children causing problems.
Both Sasuke and Satsuki look away, not wanting to say anything.
"You recall the paint bomb set off some time ago" Yugou asked, getting looks from the parents.
"Didn't the delinquent Naruto do that" Fugaku said, remembering the paint getting in the compounds, his wife got mad.
"That took me 2 days to clean up, that boy should get more than 2 week in jail" Mikoto growl about that day, she and many others had to clean up the paint bombs, she gave Naruto an ear full while he was in jail along with others, getting a flinch from Satsuki.
Which her older brother notices.
"Satsuki.." Itachi said, getting his parents' attention, looking at her. Satsuki looks at Sasuke who looks away as she looks at Yugou.
Yugou gave a look that said 'you tell them or I will' as Satsuki winced.
"I didn't do anything to him," Satsuki said, not looking anyone in the eye.
"What do you mean?" Fugaku asked, Satsuki doesn't look at him.
"Your daughter and son help out Menma with those paint bombs, and blame it all on Naruto as well as other pranks they may have done" Yugou said, narrowing her eyes at the two to the shock of the family.
"WHAT!?" Fugaku and Mikoto said, Itachi narrowed his eyes at them in disappointment.
"How could you do that!?" Mikoto scolded them, and both children looked away.
"I just wanted to beat him in spar, is that too much?" Satsuki said,
"He never took me seriously," Sasuke mutters, both siblings trying to excuse their actions.
"Do you know how long it took to clean all that paint! And you not only help out in it! But blame it on an innocent victim" Mikoto said, mad at them for the paint bombs and herself for shouting at Naruto while he was in a cell.
"We're very disappointed in you both" Fugaku said, looking disappointed in them as he turned to Yugou.
"Thank you for informing us about this," Fugaku said, thanking Yugou.
"The Hokage will look into this" Yugou warns, Fugaku nods at this.
"What about Naruto?" Mikoto said, wanting to apologise for her words to him, as Yugou signs.
"He is not in the right state to talk to," Yugou said, Fugaku signs.
"Thank you, they will be punished for this" Fugaku signs, Yugou nods before walking out as the head of the Uchiha groans.
"This isn't good, if Naruto was to blame for that, what else was he blame for, I need to make my own reparations" Fugaku thought, remembering some clan members mention something involve Naruto, either Naruto getting in trouble with them or his clan members accusing Naruto of something.
Fugaku didn't give much investigation on those incidents, until now.
Fugaki hoped his clan didn't attack Naruto as well, he got his work cut out for him, as his Wife started scolding the young children.
"How do you connect with someone that shut himself out?" Fugaku thought, thinking about Naruto's attitude with the village, seeing it could be more than a simple grudge from a few people in the village.
FLASHBACK OVER
Satsuki got chewed out for what she did to Naruto, having to do double the chores and other punishment as she looks at Naruto, her family wants her to apologise to him and invite him for dinner or something soon.
Yakumo wasn't much better, her family found out as well about her using genjutsu on Naruto.
Normally it wouldn't be a problem but her Ido has been an issue with her clan, her clan hasn't been doing much in the politics in the village, her parents hearing she has been using her genjutsu on other people.
FLASHBACK
Yakumo sits down with tears in her eyes after seeing her sensei Yugou tell her parents about the pranks and putting all the blame on Naruto.
"So he didn't do any of the pranks?" Murakumo Kurama, along with his wife Uroko Kurama look very concerned and angry about this.
"Naruto is being investigated and other crimes are put to question, but Yakumo did put a genjutsu on him in the academy" Yugou said to them, Naruto so called crimes are to be put to question but the genjutsu is real at least.
"You only did this once, right Yaku-chan" Uroko said, hoping it was just a simple genjutsu one time, looking at her daughter who didn't look back at her.
"Yaku-chan?" Uroko asked, Yakumo had tears in her eyes. She did it more than once.
"You did it more than once, this can't be happening," Murakumo said, not believing this.
"Your seal's intake right, your Ido did this right" Murakumo said, looking at the back on her neck, seeing the seal keep the Ido at the bar, no it wasn't the Ido.
"This can't get out, no one should know," Uroko said, concerned for her daughter, Yugou narrows her eyes.
"I'm sorry but if Naruto said is true then we need to investigate" Yugou said,
"No one believes that trouble maker anyway" Murakumo said, wanting to blame Naruto for this.
"Well sorry to say this but the Hokage will find the truth about Naruto's crimes and abuses" Yuguo said to him, Murakumo signs this.
"It is not about Naruto, if everyone finds out our daughter did this intentionally, then it will reflect badly on the clan" Uroko said, causing Yakumo eyes to widen and Yugou confusion.
"What do you mean?" Yugou ask, getting a sign from Murakumo.
"Our Clan is not in a good place, we were lucky Hokage-sama gave our daughter a chance to be a ninja, despite what everyone saying against us" Murakumo said, the Kurama clan is a minor clan after losing a lot of members
Only their family is left, if Yakumo doesn't become a shinobi, they could lose their clan status.
Yakumo's eyes widened in horror, now putting her family at risk for her mistakes.
"I'mmm sorrryyy" Yakumo cries out, her mother holds her as Murakumo hit his head.
"Why did you do it multiple times?" Murakumo asked, why bully the same person over and over again.
"I jussst wannttt to makkke frienddds andddd everyonnne elllse waasss doinnng itttt" Yakumo weeps, regretting her actions in bullying Naruto.
Both parents sign at peer pressure.
"You need to get Naruto forgiveness, if anyone finds out you've been using your genjutsu on him" Murakumo said gravely.
"You may be taken out of the shinobi program and lose our clan status" Uroka said to her, Yakumo just cries, knowing it is all her fault.
FLASHBACK OVER
Yakumo spent her whole night crying, feeling guilty for the genjutsu used on Naruto, while he might not mention it, she knows she did it more than once.
Yakumo needs to get his forgiveness otherwise people will think the seal didn't work and she has to quit being a shinobi and lose family's clan status.
Yugou opens the door to let her team inside the Hokage office, seeing Minato talking to an old grey-haired, bespectacled man with a beard and dark sleeved t-shirt, pants and old sandals, while holding a bottle of alcohol.
"I don't believe I can afford three shinobi teams, Hokage-sama" the old man said, looking very nervous but Minato waves it off.
"it fine Tazuna, think of it as a special deal, three teams for the price of one, just cause of personally reasons, so lucky you" Minato said, knowing his client payed of a small escort but Minato wants his wife out of the village to send time with their son and other children.
"Okkk, as long as this isn't some kind of scheme" Tazuna said, finding it weird to get a large escort but he won't complain but hope it is not a scheme.
"It's not, I assure you" Minato said, seeing Team 13 enter his office.
"Here one of them now, Team 13 meet Tazuna, you along with Team 7 and 12 will be escorting you for your C-rank mission to the Land of Waves" Minato introduces, Tazuna doesn't look impressed.
"Why do two of them look like their dog died or something" Tazuna said, seeing the two depressed girls, before turning to the Hokage who looks sheepish.
Shinobi should look professional in front of clients after all.
Before anyone else could comment the door opens and Team 7 and Team 12 walk in.
"Finally a real mission" Memna said, happy to do a mission and not chores.
"Not good enough for one, dickless" Sai asked him,
"Hey, son of the Hokage here, don't insult me you pale bastard" Memna said, but stopped to see Kushina look at him.
"Enough Memna, and Kakashi, tell you students to not be rude," Kushina said, enough of the rude behaviour.
"Don't worry about it, they'll get along in no time" Kakashi said, not caring about Sai attitude,
"Can't wait to leave the village, right Sasuke?" Sakura asked him, Sasuke ignored her, he was glaring at Naruto.
Sasuke was punished as well, his family getting on his ass about the pranks and everything else, and they want him to apologise to him, invite him over for dinner.
Sasuke narrows his eyes at Naruto, he will know his secrets, one way or another.
Sakura sees Sasuke glare at Naruto and does the same, hoping to get Sasuke to see her on his side.
Mito looks over everyone as her eyes linger on Naruto.
"Hey Yugou, Team 13" Kushina greeted, getting a nod from Yugou, as looked from Satsuki and Yakumo but Naruto grunted.
"Hey, Mother greeted you dead last, show some respect" Menma said, not liking the sad look on his Mother's face, and blaming Naruto for it.
"I'd acknowledge her, that all the respect I have on me" Naruto shrugs, Menma gets mad.
"Now now, I'm sure Naruto didn't mean it" Kakashi said,
"Yes I did" Naruto calls out, not letting Kakashi speak for him.
"Now Naruto, disrespecting a Jounin is considered an offence, it could affect your record, even lose you headband" Kakashi said, giving Naruto an annoying eye smile.
"So if I offended you more, I give you the headband and never see your face again, that sounds appealing" Naruto said, considering his option.
"Lucky I'm made of sterner stuff, so you only get a warning" Kakashi said cheerfully,
"A warning, on my long list of crimes, what a shame Jonin Hakate" Naruto said, rolling his eyes.
"You can call me sensei and my first name" Kakashi inputs.
"You taught me nothing so no sensei for you, and I don't know you well enough to call you by your first name" Naruto said, Kakashi was about to say more but Yugou stopped it.
"Enough of this Kakashi, you have no right to do anything to my student" Yugou said, not giving Kakashi any ley way.
"I'm only telling me how to be respectful," Kakashi said dismissively.
"You're not his sensei, I am," Yugou said, getting in Kakashi's face.
"Enough" Minato said, stopping from going any further, Minato turns to his client, who looks more unsure about this team.
"Team 7, 12 and 13, you mission is simple, escort Tazuna to the Land of Waves, you will act as bodyguard for that time, your will leave early tomorrow morning, so no missions for today, dismiss" Minato said to them, Naruto starts to leave with the others starting to follow behind him.
Each has their own reason to talk to him.
"Kushina, Kakashi, Yugou, stay back a bit, something we need to discuss" Minato said, getting the Jounin to stay as the Genin left the room.
Before anything else Naruto used Body flicker to leave.
Both Satsuki and Yukumo sign sadly not being about to talk to Naruto,
Menma growls at his older brother, wanting to teach him a lesson, Mito looks at Naruto's direction, looking down sad as she walks away with her brother.
Sasuke glares at Naruto spot, leaving followed by his fan-girl, Sai narrows his eyes at Naruto, knowing he needs to report Naruto's movements.
Back in the office Minato signs as he watches the client leave as well.
"Why are you antagonising my student?" Yugou said, looking at Kakashi who doesn't even look at her.
"Just trying to help, the boy has closed himself off, just wants to make him a shinobi Minato-sensei will be proud of," Kakashi said, wanting to help Naruto.
"Telling him that he could lose his headband isn't helping," Yugou said, not liking Kakashi trying to 'help'.
"Kakashi, getting Naruto mad won't help" Kushina said, not wanting to make it harder to connect with her child.
"Don't worry Kushina, under my care and transfer to my team I can fix his attitude" Kakashi said, wanting to transfer Naruto to his team, Yugou narrowed her eyes.
"You're too biased for him Kakashi, he doesn't like you at all, at least he is neutral to me and I refuse you to take my student" Yugou said, Kakashi bore into Yugou.
"Giving him what he wants won't help him" Kakashi points out.
"You don't know want he want, none of you do, I know he hates you and if left along with Sakura and Sasuke he would killed them for annoying him" Yugou said, unlike Kakashi, Yugou did her research and know Naruto is indifferent to his fellow students and despise those that annoy him.
Putting him with Sasuke and Sakura is asking him to kill someone.
"That's not true," Kakashi said, recalling the glare from Naruto.
"It's not, you throw a fit over not having him on your team, saying Naruto's and Sasuke rivalry would get them stronger, Sasuke never beat Naruto once, Naruto either forfeits or knocks Sasuke out before he could react."
"You want Naruto on your team in order to improve them both and make a point to Naruto, try to mould him into something he not in order for him to apologise to the Hokage for his so called 'delinquent' behaviour and to look up to you, But that will never happen. You never even look at Naruto to know who he is, and I won't let a biased fool who is too stupid to 'look underneath the underneath'" Yuguo rants to him, taking a breath. Having seen the reports and see Naruto constantly getting blamed for every bad thing in the village by the academy students and others, yet everyone can't see the obvious.
"And his teammate now? Treating them with distant" Kakashi points out,
"That is not distant, only apathy and annoyance, after what I learned it didn't surprise me why" Yugou points out, getting Kushina's attention.
"What happened?" Kushina asked
"These teammates and other classmates have not only been blaming him for their pranks but also testing their jutsu on him," Yugou said, getting a reaction from Minato and Kushina.
"WHAT!?" Both Minato and Kushina said, but Kakashi waves it off.
"Come on, name calling at worst but blaming pranks on him, test jutsu, you're exaggerating" Kakashi waves her off, but Minato and Kushina look concerned.
"That's why I'm his sensei and not you" Yugou said, Minato stopping this.
"Stop both of you, Kakashi, your request is denied, Yugou is Naruto's sensei, now leave" Minato said, both jounin bow before leaving, but glaring at one another as they walk.
"What are we going to do?" Kushina said, starting to weep as Minato hugs her.
"That's why he needs to leave, time out of the village will help him and you can connect with him there," Minato said, hugging her.
"I calm things down here, just go get ready" Minato said, getting a nod from Kushina as she left to go home.
Leaving a signing hokage.
"Why did Orochimaru want his job?" Minato asked himself, the stress of his job and his family is almost too much for him.
LINE
Naruto makes his way to his home, grabbing the necessary items for the away mission.
"Have to be careful, they will be still looking for me," Naruto said, grabbing his weapons and putting it all in the scroll.
"Need to limit my Chakra," Naruto said, grabbing a small piece of paper with a seal on it.
Chakra suppression seal, lower the chakra levels a rank, Naruto has a lot of chakra but few of these will keep it small enough for the others to not notice him far away.
"As long as I keep my chakra low and don't use my bijuu chakra, I should be good" Naruto said, while he can't notice his chakra levels, he can't be too careful.
And his Bijuu chakra would get their attention, it is why he only practised with it in the training area in orochimaru old base, the Chakra seals and surrounding rock keeps it from the notice of others.
Naruto quickly finished packing his stuff into a scroll, using a hand seal to seal everything into the storage scroll, then grabbing the scroll Naruto puts the scroll onto his back.
Putting the scroll into another storage seal that Naruto attached to his clothes, easy to travel and lighter than carrying the stuff.
Naruto walks out the front door, fixing his clothes as he makes a few hand signs, walking to the front of his place and smashing his hands in the ground.
"Sealing Jutsu, Camouflage" Naruto calls out, the seal Naruto puts on the ground, surrounding the ground of his place, making it harder to see until it camouflages with the forest around it.
A camouflage seal to hide whatever Naruto wants to hide, only a seal of Naruto design and see what he camouflages.
"That should keep people out of it," Naruto said, leaving his home, only using it to sleep and rest as he starts jumping to each tree branch, hopping from one branch to another as he makes his way to the front gate of the village.
Naruto lands on the front gates, ready for the mission as he looks around, Naruto is 30 minutes early to get ready for the mission.
Naruto moves his body as he starts to stretch, moving his arms and legs for the mission while also using a few chakra exercises to get his chakra ready.
Something he learns from Aizen, to always be prepared for anything.
Naruto continued to stretch until he heard complaining.
"Why do we have to be so early Mummm" Menma complains, rubbing his eyes as he tries to stay awake.
Mito slaps him awake.
"Wake up Menma, we have a mission to do" Mito said, annoyed with him as Menma rubs his head.
"You shouldn't stay up late , Menma-kun, it's why you always go to bed early" Kushina said, following behind her children as she smiles and sees Naruto already there.
"Naruto-kun, Good morning, Are you ready for our mission together?" Kushina asked, excited to spend time with her son away from the village.
"Yeah sure, escort a drunk to his bridge, what fun times ahead" Naruto said sarcastically, wishing she wasn't here to annoy him.
Perks of being the Hokage's wife it seems, Kushina frowns but is determined.
"I'm so happy to go outside the village, aren't you Sasuke?" Sakaru asked, team 7 now arriving without their sensei.
"Mhh" Sasuke grunts, not responding, only glaring at Naruto, again.
"He obviously is not interested in your huge forehead" Sai comments off hand, Sakura gets mad.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!?" Sakura yells, annoying everyone as Sai dodges a lazy hit for her.
"Only the truth, fangirl" Sai said straight to her, Sakura grits her teeth at him.
"Would you please shut up for once" Satsuki said, now team 13 arrives followed by the bridge builder Tazuna holding a wine bottle.
"You shouldn't drink early in the morning Tazuna" Yugou said, but Tazuna opens it.
"I bought it on special and I'm going to finish it" Tazuna said, taking a drink, Yugou sign as she follows behind him.
"Don't get in my way, dead last" Menma said to Naruto,
"If I had my way, we would be very far apart" Naruto rolls his eyes at him, Menma narrows his eyes.
"You should be thankful I'm here, I was trained by the strongest Shinobi in the world" Menma brags to him, Naruto had to hide a snort from him.
"Then we have nothing to worry about, the strongest shinobi right here" Naruto points at Menma, which annoys Menma and Naruto making fun of him.
"Why you?" Menma wasn't about to fight but Mito stops him.
"Enough brother, don't let his words get to you, words are his only weapon" Mito said, stopping Menma as he smirks at Naruto.
"Yeah words cut deeper than any knife could" Naruto retorts, getting a glare from Menma as Mito looks at Menma, stopping him from doing anything as he walks away.
Mito looks at Naruto.
"What? Want to give me another reason to kill myself? Because being a disgrace and blight to the Hokage and his powerful shinobi family should be enough" Naruto said, walking away from her, missing a look of sadness from Mito.
"Ok everything let's move out" Kakashi said, trying to stop any dramas as they get on with the mission.
"Finally, what's with all this drama, I thought you were a professional shinobi" Tazuna asked, looking at the young shinobi either glaring at one another, looking annoyed, or sad.
It doesn't feel Tazuna with much confidence.
"While the genins need experiences, you're perfectly safe in our hands" Kushina said to him, which is true, Kakashi and Yugou are former ANBU and Kushina skills can rival Minato in more ways than one.
"If you're sure," Tazuna said, starting to walk outside the village gate as they made their way to his home in the waves.
Not knowing what they would meet as Naruto gets a bad feeling on this mission.
