Chapter IV
Declaration of War
The Kiro that Falcon was on arrived in Taloga with the information that was needed to understand just what the strategy the Axis was going to use. Falcon couldn't help but smirk as he walked along the path to the palace. Falcon walked with a small patrol squad to the palace. "Hiro, please notify the Emperor and the rest of the Top Five that I'm back and I have information." Hiro bowed before running to get the Top Five.
When the Top Five assembled in the council chamber, Falcon gave his report. "From what I've gathered from Akatsuki is they are planning to attack our city without any sort of surveillance. They believe the city defenses are weak." Falcon said as they looked over the information gathered. "How on Earth do they expect to win without any sort of surveillance?" Konohamaru asked. "Overwhelming numbers would be their best chance of victory. But if the numbers are true, then we don't need to worry about being overwhelmed." Shikamaru said.
"I took my spear back but I replaced it with a new seal, one that only allows messengers to come over, but not any sort of soldier or Shinobi." Falcon said as he straightened his back a little bit. "So we don't have to worry about an invasion from the Axis?" Neji asked. Falcon nodded. "Well this tips the war even more in our favor. And we haven't declared war yet." Naruto said as he smiled slightly.
"Just because the war is tipped in our favor doesn't mean it's going to be an easy victory for us." Falcon said as he looked somberly at the map. Just then Hiro entered the room. "Forgive me your highness, but there's a envoy on its way here from the Axis Alliance." Hiro said hurriedly. "Summon the council, we will be in the Great Hall shortly." Naruto said as he suddenly got serious.
The Great Hall was strictly for international visitors in the Palace. It had high ceilings and beautiful carved pillars made of marble. Paintings and flags decorated the entire room.
As the Top Five and the councilmen took their respective seats, the doors opened and the envoy was allowed in. The first in the Envoy was a delegate from Stone. The next one was clearly from Mist. The third was an Oto Nin, the Fourth was an old man from Konoha that Hiashi straight up hated. The last two were also from Konoha, Shino and Sai.
"Greetings travelers, what brings you to our shores and city?" Naruto said as he sat in his chair straight. "Your highness, we are representatives of the Axis Alliance and we have come to make a deal to prevent war with us." The Stone representative said.
"Do tell..." Naruto said as he leant in closer feigning interest. "The first thing you should do is hand over all the clans from Konoha who left for here. The second you should do is surrender all of your power to us. The third thing you shall do is hand over Naruto Uzumaki."
"Those are pretty one-sided to me, what do we get back in return?" Falcon asked. "Your lives will be spared for now." The elder from Konoha said as he smiled. "And you deny our demands, we will destroy this Empire. We have twenty million men at our disposal. And they will not hesitate to raze this city." The Konoha elder said with a smile. "Also, hand over Hinata Hyuga, she is to marry Sai here." Shino said as he stepped forward. "Do you know why all of you are not dead yet?" Falcon asked as he stood up. The envoy was confused. "It's because y'all are merely playing the role of messengers, if you came any other way, y'all wouldn't even leave the dock ten seconds. Invasion for you is impossible. And your bluff has fallen on deaf ears." Falcon said as he sat down.
"We knew you were bluffing from the moment you made such impossible demands. I will not hand any one of us over to you pack of wolves." Naruto said as he removed the mask that hid his face. The rest of the Top Five also removed their masks.
The envoy was caught off guard by who they saw were holding the power. Naruto Uzumaki was sitting in the chair reserved for the Emperor. "I am Naruto Uzumaki, son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. The same boy who you hated because of the Nine tails, the same boy you banished. I will not surrender myself or anyone over to you." "Fine, you wish to die, then death shall come to you." The Konoha elder said.
Falcon suddenly leapt from his seat and a spear with a flag attached to it. "When you see this flag at your gates, know that the end of your village has come. All the hidden villages will be destroyed if they resist us. We shall not fail. We declare war." Falcon said as he held the weapon with both of his hands.
"I think you are in no position to make such a statement since you are not the emperor." The Mist delegate said with a smug smile. "Oh but he can, he is the Commander and Chief. And we have agreed to all go to war with the lot of you." Naruto said as smiled his sly smile. "Now if I were you, I'd leave the city before he decides to send you to the afterlife. He has already struck down your most powerful ally, and your friend Kiba was an easy target for him so I heard." Shino stopped. "THAT MAN IS BEHIND KIBA'S DEATH!?" He shouted. "I killed him myself, just like I will kill you inside the ruins of your village." Falcon said as he placed the spear back in its spot. Shino almost charged before the Oto delegate reigned him in. "You will get your revenge Shino." The delegate said.
"Oh if it isn't the great Orochimaru speaking?" Falcon said before he suddenly disappeared only to reappear in front of what remained of Orochimaru. "That was for one of my spies." He seethed as Orochimar's corpse fell to the floor. The envoy was astonished at just how fast Falcon moved. "You better get going before I decide to end all of your miserable lives now. Also bring a message to Danzo for me. Tell him, you will lose." The envoy raced out of the palace terrified by the person who just showed a war frenzy that would be hard to match.
As they reached their ship, they all had one thought. 'War has been declared and we don't have much of a chance.'
Falcon smirked as the guards took away the Sanin's lifeless body. "Was that really necessary?" Naruto asked as he approached Falcon. Falcon nodded. "You remember your old sensei Jiraiya?" Naruto nodded. "Well, Jiraiya became a spy for me. His spy network and my spy network worked together. Well Orochimaru killed Jiraiya one day and I saw it happened. I promised him this, the next time I saw him, I would kill him." "So you just kept a promise?" "Yup, enough talk, we have a war to win and prepare for." Falcon said as he headed to the training fields.
Naruto watched him leave, a smile formed on his face. Falcon was so loyal that he didn't have to worry about defection. But he also kept his duties up. Hiashi walked over to him. "Your Commander and Chief seems to be quite the character." He said as he watched Falcon barked an order to an officer. "Yes he is. Loyal, strong, intelligent, cunning, and courageous. I can't imagine a better man for his position." "And I can't imagine a better man for my daughter."
Naruto looked at Hiashi confused. "Hiashi Falcon is under an oath not to marry." "I wasn't talking about Falcon Naruto, I was talking about you." Naruto finally got the message. "You telling me that you want me to marry Hinata?" He asked. "The offer is there." Hiashi said as he walked off before Naruto could even give him an answer.
