Chapter IX
The Return of the Talogans
The Axis Alliance had no idea that the Talogans were returning to end their existence. In truth they should have seen it coming. With Naruto as emperor, they very much should have seen it coming. But they didn't and that was the mistake that would cost them the destruction of both forts they constructed and another village.
The village was Stone and there was no chance of escape or victory. Falcon had the Talogans attack the village from the sky with their new airships where the Iwa nin were least expecting the attack. This left them dumbfounded and frightened.
While all of this was happening, Falcon and his Eagle's Brigade stormed the village. They wiped out every single civilian, nin, and whoever else was standing against their storm.
Inoki himself had passed away during the chaos brought by the Talogans. His dying breath being one of a curse for the Talogans as he let his life slip away. His death marked the end of the battle or should I say blood bath.
Iwa's defeat meant that now the Axis Alliance was down to three members, essentially putting the alliance in a position of certain destruction.
Despite this being a massive victory for the Talogans, it didn't mean that it was an easy one. Falcon looked over the mass of bodies that lay around the ruins of Stone. Blood covered Falcon and it was imminent that he was going to suffer the trauma from this endeavor.
He dropped to his knees and couldn't help but almost scream out in agony. 'I can't take this slaughter anymore. All these deaths are on my hands and it won't come off.' His mind raged at him.
Kakashi, who was present at the battle approached Falcon. "Sir I understand where you come from." Was all he said before he walked away.
Falcon looked at the silvery-haired man and nodded slightly, knowing where he came from. He knew of Kakashi's inner struggle and of his past.
Just then, Hiro approached him. "Falcon-San, a contingent of Oto nin are bearing down on our location." She said a little worried.
Falcon nodded his head. "Mizu, tell the men to march towards the Oto nin. Tomorrow Oto will be silent forever." He ordered as he stood to his full height.
Mizu relayed the order back to the Talogan troops and they began their march to defeat the Oto nin.
As all of this happened, Hiro stared in awe of the man that was standing before her. When Falcon didn't have his hood on, he wore a black helmet with a glowing red visor. Every time she saw this sight, she had to gawk. There was just something about that helmet that made her stop in her tracks. Maybe it was because he wore that helmet when he saved her life.
Falcon looked down at the woman who was standing still and couldn't help but smirk a little. Hiro was just like a little school girl when the soldiers accompanied him to the academies back in Taloga. But that didn't stop him from giving a small bark. "Hiro, we need to go." He said as he started marching with his men.
In the desert not too far away from the ruins of Iwa, Sasuke and his Oto nin were marching. Kabuto was standing with Sasuke as they surveyed the landscape around them. "There's smoke, a great amount of it too." Kabuto said as he stared in awe. This only meant one thing, Iwa had fallen and the Talogans were probably plundering the village.
"I'm not worried about that. What can they do against this army?" Sasuke said as he looked behind them. "I don't want to know. I had a vision last night, a man in a white hood came to me in my dreams and told me my end was near if we continue to march forward..." Kabuto said as he stared in shock.
Coming towards them was a man dressed in white with a hood. Sasuke saw him coming and ordered some of his men to attack the stranger. Those that came against this stranger were killed by nothing.
"Sasuke, your last day is upon you. Turn your forces around and leave. My hand of wrath is outstretched and I will squash your pathetic village." The stranger called out.
Sasuke, indignant to the stranger's shout, answered back. "You think your pathetic force can kill us? Ha! I am Sasuke Uchiha, I fear nothing and am over everyone else."
The stranger stood there, then laughed. "Big talk coming from you Uchiha, your brother put a better fight than you ever can." Sasuke was shocked, then furious. This man just claimed that his brother, Itachi, was a better fighter than him? "I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT!" His mind raged.
Sasuke was so enraged at this he began to charge when Kabuto stopped him. "Look up!" He said with awe and fear in his eyes. Sasuke did and his jaw dropped.
In the sky were ships with cannons and bombs. He turned to face the stranger dressed in white only to see the man change his clothes into a black armor suit with a black helmet and glowing red visor.
"I am Falcon, Commander and Chief of the Imperial Talogan Army and Navy. I single handily wiped Akatsuki off the face of the earth. By my hands three kage have fallen. Your death will be no different." Falcon shouted as he drew his sword.
Behind him, the Talogans drew their weapons and tensed for the command. "CHARGE!" Falcon shouted as he started running towards the Oto nin. The Talogans followed suite, roaring as they charged.
Sasuke drew his own sword and charged as Oto nin began their own charge. He activated his sharingan hoping to take control over Falcon as he charged. But to his astonishment, Falcon continued to charge.
Realizing he would have to do something fast, Sasuke swung his sword to block the deadly strike Falcon aimed at his body. The block proved effective and he swung again to hit Falcon in the helmet.
The blow knocked Falcon back and his helmet flew off. Sasuke smirked as he began to walk towards his opponent. "I thought you would be tougher. Time to end this." He said as he raised his blade.
Just then, Hiro attacked. Her sword was aimed at Sasuke's middle and almost made contact when he brought the sword down to protect himself from this new attacker. He soon kicked Hiro out of the way and started to walk towards her. "You pathetic little bitch. You love your weak "man" so much that you would come to his defense. Now watch as I end his life." Sasuke laughed.
He turned to face Falcon, only Falcon was standing up right and his fury was boiling over. "You EVER touch her, and you will never live past this minute." Falcon growled as he grabbed another sword from one of his back scabbards.
Sasuke charged only to feel something off in the air. Falcon raised his hand and Sasuke stopped in midair. Then Falcon snapped his finger.
At this point, Sasuke felt his body liquify as he turned into his own blood. He began to scream in agony of this, only to be no more than a pool of blood on the battle ground. "Like I said before, Itachi put up a better fight. Though both met their fate in the same fashion." Falcon said as he turned his attention onto Kabuto.
The snake was shocked at the man who faced him. "Y-You're the man from my dream." He said shakily. Falcon nodded his head. "H-How did you-" Kabuto never finished his question. Falcon charged faster than Kabuto could see and sliced Kabuto cleanly in half before decapitating and crushing Kabuto's head.
"Some things are left better never to ask." Falcon said as he turned his attention to Oto nin. They were in disarray with the Talogan Army swarming them and massacring them from all sides. Mizu looked at the carnage after the battle was over. "Where now Falcon?"
Falcon looked in the direction that lay Sound. "Tomorrow, we make the sound silent forever" he said as he began to march towards the unsuspecting village.
In Konoha, Danzo was wondering why Stone had suddenly stopped responding. That and the two forts were silent as well. He had sent some scouts to check on the forts and should be arriving any minute now.
Then Sai appeared and with him were the rest of the scouts. He bowed low as did the others. "Rise Sai, tell me what you found." Danzo said.
Sai obeyed the order and stood up to his full height. But even in his eyes, there terror. "We approached the forts as you ordered us to sir..." Sai began. "And?" "And they were both destroyed."
Danzo stood still for a moment. "Go to Stone immediately Sai. Tell me what you find." Danzo ordered.
Sai bowed and then took off to get to Stone as soon as possible. He was drained from all his running, but the adrenaline in his veins kept him going.
As he ran, one thing kept resounding in his head. "The Talogans have returned. Just as they promised."
