After the defeat of the Aparoids, Corneria, a planet once ran by Pepper's military, has since turned into a democratic republic. The vibrant hub for Lylatians has begun growing a seedy, rotten underbelly. Star Fox returns to the planet ten years later to find its façade cracked. Chase, a fan, intends to see his heroes up close. This brings him into possibly Corneria's darkest hour.

After an encounter with Wolf, Krystal is transformed by him. From there, she must remain grateful to him, even if it means being forced into killing her teammates. When they catch on to what happened, Star Fox is forced to combat a new threat to the Lylat System. (Major rewrite, any reviews posted before 4/22/22 are now irrelevant).

The McClouds move into their first family home in a gated community in suburban Lago Paolomino. They are unaware of the wicked evil that taints the land on which Cataleya Estates was built.

After bringing an end to the war against Andross, Fox returns home to find that he's suddenly alone. Nearly coerced into joining the army, he learns that the reason General Pepper wants him is to have control over the Arwings. Feeling betrayed, Fox flees and retreats to a distant planet where he finds himself as the item of affection from a certain blue Vixen and her people…

Fox is missing. Against her will, Krystal is used to power a city in the stars. Meanwhile, Falco has set in motion the psychic awakening of Lylat, while Corneria clamps down with an iron fist. Act III: Astropolis, In the Shadow of the Sun.
