Tendi was on an Orion science vessel doing some research on an unusual lime green crystal. Tendi was working with her sister D'Erika as per the agreement that she would return as The Mistress as the Winter Constellations in exchange for an Orion warship, though the warship was basically useless the agreement was reached and Tendi couldn't back out. Tendi wasn't happy to return to Orion as she had to leave behind her friends, she decided to at least make the best of it. Tendi always volunteered for the interstellar missions D'Erika had to send her crew on and found some joy. While D'Erika was mainly planning to use Tendi to help the syndicate she was also happy to have her sister home again. Orion had also recently joined the federation so Tendi was hopeful that she could return to the Cerritos sooner than she hoped. At first when Tendi arrived on Orion she and D'Erika decided to catch up on how their lives have been going since Tendi left for Starfleet. Tendi was impressed by how D'Erika stepped and earned the title of Mistress of the Winter Constellations while D'Erika was dumbfounded by the crazy adventures Tendi had. D'Erika stated in a state of confusion and shock, "So a bunch of your Starfleet friends got fused together in a crazy meatball and you had to sort their personalities. Then you fought a bunch of Romulans on a crazy misunderstanding mission. Was it awesome and how many of them did you punch, and did you kick any of them in their nuts?" Tendi replied, "Well I can't really disclose that since it was a covert mission, but I did kick one of them though it felt kind fun kicking their asses. As my sister I can't not tell you about my awesome adventures." D'Erika was touched and replied that she always knew Tendi was a badass and that she was happy Tendi got to use her training to kick some asses while still in the science division.
On a recent mission, Tendi was commanding an Orion science vessel looking for some rare elements and inspecting a recently discovered cavern of crystals on a dwarf planet that only had animal life. As Tendi was studying the crystal one of her crewmates entered the lab and greeted her with a glass of Romulan Ale. The Orion crew member greeted her as the Mistress of the Winter Constellations. Tendi irritatingly replied, "Again it's Tendi not mistress and thank you for the drink but I can't be drunk right now. I've analyzed the crystal from the initial scans it appears similar to dilithium though it appears to be a bit more volatile." The orion replied, "Mistress I mean Tendi that's amazing. If what you say is true you could have perhaps discovered a new starship fuel." Tendi explained, "Well it will take some experimenting, but you may be right. Get a hailing frequency to my sister I need to speak with her right away." While Tendi and her sister did not always have the best sibling relationship at first, it began to improve after Tendi returned to Orion as the two sisters now shared the title of Mistress of the Winter Constellations.
Tendi's time on Orion may not have been perfect but she did have some fun as she was able to catch up on some much-needed bonding time with her sister while she was on Orion. While sisterly bonding for humans consists of braiding each other's hair, making prank phone calls, ordering pizza, and watching chick flicks it was a bit different for orions. Tendi and D'Erika bonded by combat training, spearfishing, drinking then barfing into random plants, and watching comedy movies. D'Erika was happy to have her sister back on Orion especially with Tendi acting as a head nurse for the syndicate and her work on away missions. Tendi also made a new friend in the syndicate Sishki, who Tendi described as Rutherford with a few traces of Mariner's toughness and Boimler's silliness. Sishki was D'Erika's best Orion engineer, and she was also one of D'Erika's friends since childhood, though she did have a small crush on Tendi as kids. Sishki and Tendi have started working together under D'Erika ever since Tendi arrived on Orion from the Cerritos. Tendi was happy to have a friend who didn't call her Mistress and didn't treat like a princess. However, as Tendi and Sishki worked together more they grew closer together especially on a stormy night on Orion when Sishki pinned Tendi to her bed and started making out with her. While Tendi resisted at first, she accepted as she did find both Sishki's mind attractive and her body one of the hottest things she ever seen. While Tendi did think highly of Rutherford she wasn't completely think of Rutherford as boyfriend material more of as best friend material. Sishki had lived on Orion her entire life but always wanted to see the galaxy and was a bit jealous that Tendi got that chance when she joined Star fleet though Sishki wasn't sure if she should join as well. Sishki was like an Orion Mariner as she didn't always follow orders but still got the job done though she did quite a few good deeds without syndicate knowledge. After Tendi and Sishki had their make out session in the storm the two officially began dating and moving pretty fast as they slept together after their first date.
The orion ship's crew got a hailing frequency to Orion where it was nighttime though D'Erika took the call as it sounded like Tendi had a huge breakthrough on the ship. Tendi entered the conference room where some of the ship's crew were waiting to hear Tendi's news. D'Erika appeared on the screen, dressed only in a bath robe, she asked Tendi why she called her out of the blue. Tendi awkwardly explained to her sister, "Well sis I was analyzing this unusual crystal one of the crew found and I made an amazing discovery. With a bit of chemical work, I think we may have found a possible substitute for dilithium crystals." D'Erika was surprised at this and said to her sister, "Tendi this is amazing. If we make a new fuel from this crystal the syndicate can expand its mining operations. I know that big, beautiful brain of yours would be amazing and when you get back, we are gonna have an awesome sister day to celebrate." Tendi replied, "Hold on D'Erika I worked out the chemistry, but I haven't tested it yet. If it does, I will give you the chemical formula and teach the crew but under one condition: I return to the Cerritos." D'Erika was on the fence about this as Tendi did prove to be a valuable asset and while she wouldn't admit this out loud, she did miss her sister after she left for the academy. D'Erika decided to grant Tendi's request if the crystal worked then as D'Erika closed the call she returned to her bedroom where her husband was waiting without clothes.
Tendi was excited as she may have made a huge breakthrough and she excitedly shouted Rutherford's name only to realize he was back on the Cerritos. On Vacanza Beta, Rutherford woke up from his sleep and shouted Tendi's name which awoke Barnes. Barnes asked Rutherford what was wrong with Rutherford replying, "I just had the weirdest dream. I was working on the Cerritos when Tendi rushed into the engineering section with this weird crystal that she discovered to be a substitute for dilithium crystals. She told me about how she found and that it would be huge for her science officer career." Barnes replied, "Rutherford while that does sound cool maybe you could me in the morning *yawn*. I'm pretty tired so goodnight." Just as Barnes went to sleep Rutherford drifted back to dreamland as well with Rutherford cuddling Barnes from behind. It has been a long day for Tendi, and she was excited for tomorrow, so she decided to turn in early for the night. Tendi was sleeping in the captain's bedroom of the ship which had a large circular bed with sheets of gold and red, a large treasure chest for storage, and a large dresser adorned with gold trim. Tendi added her personal touch a desk with some of the crew's medical records, several plant samples, and several chemicals which she was studying. Tendi was surprised to find Sishki waiting for her on her bed dressed in a Tarzan style bra and panties, which exposed much of her cleavage, with a sharp tooth necklace and ankle decoration of the same design as the necklace. Siski heard the news and decided to congratulate her brilliant lover with a new pair of underwear and a bottle of Orion delaq.
Sishki greeted Tendi, "Hey babe I heard the news. I can't believe you found a new kind of starship fuel and if we can mine that crystal imagine the kind of reputation this could bring to Orion. From what I heard at the meeting this could your ticket back to the Cerritos." Tendi was surprised by how supportive Sishki was even if it meant she had to leave the ship. Tendi replied, "Sishki this is so amazing, and I can't believe you're being so supportive even though I may leave. While it would be cool to find a new fuel source I would miss you." Sishki surprised Tendi with a surprise kiss and pinned Tendi to her bed then explained that since Orion was a part of the Federation, she could sometimes pop in on Tendi as she would be made captain of an Orion science vessel thanks to the work, she did with Tendi. Tendi was ecstatic as she wouldn't have to leave her new girlfriend and explained that she was even more excited to test her new fuel tomorrow. Tendi said to Sishki, "Sishki that's great I always knew that Orions were more than just pirates and I'm glad to see you are proving that true. I'm especially happy to see that this scientist is as sexy as she is smart especially with an amazing ass." Tendi was excited for tomorrow but tonight she was in for a passionate night with her new girlfriend.
As Tendi was settling in for a night of love with her new girlfriend on an Orion ship Mariner was waking up to another day with her new girlfriend. Mariner and Serena woke from their bed with Serena asking Mariner, "Hey babe, ready for another day of wet fun?" Mariner replied, "Always babe. I'll make us breakfast how does pancakes sound? I think we still have some whip cream leftover." Serena replied, "Sounds great and I love whip cream on anything sweet, but you already know that. Sorry I accidentally bit you, but I get carried away sometimes especially since I mostly use whipped cream on my food." Mariner replied, "Well I have plenty of trophies (battle scars) already, but I never got one on my ass but, damn it was fun getting it. I'll get dressed and start breakfast while you get the diving stuff ready." As Mariner was getting ready for a day of fun Boimler and T'Lyn were enjoying the morning with a calm cup of coffee and going over their research. T'Lyn noted how it was supposed to rain today with Boimler replied that he didn't mind the rain as it gave the both of them a chance to stay inside and read. T'Lyn followed with, "I too find the gray clouds and rain to be appealing as well. While some find this act of nature to be sad, I find it pleasant as it is both visually pleasing and necessary to maintain a properly functioning environment." Boimler was intrigued by T'Lyn's response and the two began reviewing their research with T'Lyn noting that she should keep the research for when Tendi returns as she would like Tendi's views on the research. Boimler agreed and said he had a feeling that Tendi would be back on Cerritos soon with T'Lyn replying, "I too have a gut feeling on D'Vana's eventual return as she is rather resourceful so she will soon find a way to return to the Cerritos. I'm sure the rest of the crew will welcome her back as she is both a dear friend and an excellent scientist." T'Lyn's words would soon ring true as Tendi had found a possible way home as well as a new girlfriend.
