Stephanie woke up on her twelfth birthday to shouting and laughing. Stephanie was confused because it was only her uncle Gordon who lived in Grimwood House with her. Stephanie got dressed and wondered if it was the men Gordon wouldn't let her speak to until she was older. All Stephanie knew was that they'd been friends with Gordon long before Stephanie was born and that they always gave Stephanie the best birthday presents.
Stephanie walked down the stairs and was faced with The six strange looking men she'd met before at her birthday party's and when they came to visit Gordon. There was the tough looking muscular man Who always gave Stephanie clothes for her birthday and wore a hat,Stephanie knew why she had seen the scars all over his head. Then there was the muscular and tanned man who Stephanie knew must travel a lot because he gave her very exotic birthday presents.There was the tall,built man who looked a lot like Hugh Jackman, he always gave Stephanie tasty foods and drinks from probably fancy restaurants and shops. There was the Very intimidating man with the cool beard who was twice the size of Stephanie and rarely spoke, he always gave her books and other practical things. There was the shorter but still muscular man who always gave Stephanie silly things like spoons and out of date coupons. And finally there was the blonde man who always wore a hat and he gave Stephanie the most Random things possible like fridge magnets and one time a bar stool. Stephanie had her own room for all their gifts.
"Hi everyone,"Stephanie said when she walked in. "Hello, Stephanie," they all shouted. "Ready to open your presents?" the tanned man asked, smiling at her. Stephanie couldn't help but blush when he smiled at her, but she snapped out of it when all the other men started glaring at him. "Definitely," Stephanie laughed. "How long are you all staying? And can you tell me your names now?" Stephanie asked. "We're staying," the scarred man said before Gordon interrupted him, saying "they're not staying long, Steph". Then Gordon said "You can get their names later". The funny man produced seven presents from under the table and invited Stephanie to sit, saying "The gifts for our royal princess have arrived, milady". Stephanie laughed and sat down with the group and started ripping open her presents, there was a few books to help her study, a caramel milkshake, a fancy dress, a Beautiful emerald necklace, a fork?, and a piece of marble labelled to help you study marble. Stephanie laughed and pointed at the funny man and shouted "You got me a fork!" "Yes I did" he replied shaking with laughter" "And you." Stephanie shouted looking at the blonde man "you got me a piece of marble." "For your marble studies in school" he said. They laughed and looked at Stephanie's presents until the men had to leave. Stephanie begged them to stay longer but apparently it was very important for their work so Stephanie let them go. Five minutes after they left Gordon and Stephanie sat down at the table.
And that was when the banging on the door started, and a man shouted, "Let me in, Gordon Edgley!"
