As the sun began setting on the planet of Vacanza Beta another day on the vacation planet was turning to night. Vacanza Beta has always been known as a vacation planet even before Starfleet was formed and after Starfleet was formed it was incorporated into the Federation. Originally the planet was originally a planet belonging to the Vulcans and home only to animal species with no definite intelligent life. The Vulcans arrived on the planet some centuries ago and was incorporated into the Vulcan empire as a planet for study. However, Vulcans were also curious as to the behavior of other intelligent life so after joining the federation the Vulcans turned the planet into a shore leave world as a peace offering between all worlds of the federation as they already study all the native life on the planet. Vacanza Beta served to booth boost the Vulcan economy and offer a psychological view into other intelligent life. Many different alien animal species were brought to the world to make the planet more at home to its visitors and offer the Vulcans a rare scientific study, interaction between animal species of completely different worlds. While Vacanza Beta was originally a vacation world it had gained another reputation as a planet of romance as many vacationers to this world wound up falling in love, began dating, or proposed. On this starry night on Vacanza Beta love was once again blooming on this planet.
As the sun began setting under the ocean water Mariner and Serena were engaged in a beautiful display of romance. While floating in the ocean and dressed only in their wetsuits Mariner and Serena were in the middle of a beautiful aquatic make out session. Mariner and Serena were women of adventure so holding their breath for a long time was no obstacle and they were so captured by the beauty of the aquatic scenery they decided to enjoy the moment with a passionate make out session. Mariner and Serena had just finished an underwater treasure hunt so they decided to just swim around and enjoy the scenery. As the two were engaged in their make out session Mariner broke the kiss as she needed a breath of fresh air so the two began to ascend. After surfacing and catching her breath Mariner checked the time and noticed it was almost time for her dinner with her mom. Mariner told Serena, "Sorry Serena but I have to change into my regular clothes since I have to get ready for dinner with my mom. We agreed to have dinner together during shore leave to get a bit closer and hangout in a nonwork environment. Maybe you could join us next week?" Serena replied, "I understand after all it is a bit soon to me your mom since we only had like 4 dates including our underwater treasure hunt. Besides I need some time to move my stuff into the beach house." As the two left for the beach house Mariner quickly changed and grabbed a quick shower so that she would just be on time for dinner with our mom. Before Mariner left Serena told her, "Have fun Mariner but don't stay too late. I'll only need an hour to move my stuff and after that I'll be in our bedroom trying on my new bikini." Mariner flirtatiously replied, "Maybe I could help you try it on then help you take it off, slowly."
On another beach house Boimler and T'Lyn were returning from a visit to one of Vacanza Beta's outdoor markets. Boimler heard about the marketplace here on Vacanza Beta and T'Lyn was intrigued by the prospect of studying flora from different alien races. T'lyn expressed her delight in her usual tone, "I must admit Bradward this trip into one of Vacanza Beta's marketplaces has been quite enjoyable. If I were to engage in making a pun, I would say it was a rather fruitful endeavor. I am hoping you could teach how to cook some of your planet's cuisine using these alien fruits as I would find it to be rather unique culinary experiment." Boimler chuckled at T'Lyn's joke and replied, "Wow T'Lyn I must admit you are definitely not a usual Vulcan. I would be happy to teach you, I actually have a great lasagna recipe from my grandmother and I bought some Andorian pasta we could use." T'Lyn replied, "As I decided to stay on the Cerritos rather than return to my original Vulcan science ship, I have opted to be adventurous to better assimilate on the ship. Given the recent scientific endeavors I have encountered aboard the Cerritos which have been both educational and quite fascinating. Though I feel a culinary experiment would be more enjoyable and with a lower probability of danger. I would also like to exchange stories with you Bradward and this activity will give us ample time." Boimler agreed and began telling T'Lyn about his adventure with Tendi and Agimus while he and T'Lyn were preparing the ingredients. While T'Lyn would not usual admit this outright she found Boimler to be a rather impressive specimen in terms of both intellect and appearance. While it was rather unusual for a Vulcan to find a human attractive it was not unheard of as Spock's parents were a Vulcan and a human. Boimler also found T'Lyn to be a rather impressive mix of Vulcan intelligence and female beauty with Boimler fascinated with the curves of her ass.
In a snowy mountain cabin on a starry night with light snowfall there was another story of love was entering its next chapter. Rutherford and Barnes were side by side in comfy chairs in front of a roaring fireplace enjoying a glass of Andorian Scotch with some ice cubes. Rutherford and Barnes just returned from their skating date and Rutherford was proud to have somewhat mastered a new winter sport. Barnes turned to Rutherford and said, "Well Rutherford it looks like you're getting the hang of skating and I think we may have recruited two children to Starfleet. " Rutherford replied, "Yeah I think Nova would make a good engineer he seemed really curious which is a good quality in an engineer. I'm just glad I didn't fall down this time." Rutherford was forgetting about how much he missed Tendi with Barnes happy to be with a possible boyfriend. Barnes commented, "I can't believe all the craziness we've been through I mean your digital son came back, the whole ship going crazy, then the whole Nick Locarno thing. Though I have to admit it was kinda cool seeing Boimler as captain and that whole implant story was a wild ride. So how are you doing?" Rutherford replied, "Well I was kinda freaked out since it started as a way covering up a whole conspiracy to create a whole fleet of robot starships created by a crazed admiral looking to make a name in Starfleet. However, this thing has so many cool features and with all the adventures lately I made my peace." Barnes replied, "Well I'm glad you're cool now I mean you're actually pretty cool for an engineer even though I kinda bashed the engineer section during that interview a year ago." Rutherford took and stride and casually said that engineering can be pretty stressful and that the engineers did make the captain pretty stressful. Barnes replied, "Wow not even puppies worked but they're so cute and not even the one in a wheelchair. Well, I'm more of a kitten person but who doesn't love little baby animals I mean even tribbles are cute before they multiply like crazy." Rutherford and Barnes soon got into a conversation about their favorite animals which seemed to be going from casual friend talk to boyfriend and girlfriend talk.
On this shore leave the Cerritos was having a ball and the whole crew was in much better spirits than ever before. The sun was beginning to set on Vacanza Beta where love was beginning to blossom between three very unique couples. Mariner was currently undressing her new lover she met on this shore leave, Serena, and Mariner was in a better place. Boimler and T'Lyn were now engaged in a game of three-dimensional chess as the sun set with each of them exchanging stories of their childhood. Rutherford and Barnes were watching an Andorian comedy in their cabin with Barnes comfortably seated in Rutherford's lap. A beautiful close to a beautiful day but the question remains: What's coming up next?
