Izuku came to a stop. "So here's the last place a Dark Door was seen. If we're lucky, it'll still be here. If not, then we'll have to find a way to track it down."
"Didn't Olly say he could track magic and Quirks, ribbit?" Tsu suggested. "If we can't find her, then maybe he could help?"
"We shouldn't bother him," Ochaco said. "He finally has a day off after what happened here. We should let him enjoy it."
"You make a good point. What's the plan, Deku?"
"Okay. Froppy, you can find a way to sneak in the building and open the door from the inside, since it's likely to be locked. Uravity and I can come in after." He held up a net gun. "We can try and grab her with this; remember, we're going to capture her. If this fails, we're free to use our Quirks on her. She's the leader of the group, so she'll probably try to defend herself using her Sour Bunch, and that means we'll have to get past them to get to her. You get all of that?"
They nodded.
"Great. Let's go. Froppy, you're up."
"Got it, ribbit!"
She found an airway and crawled inside, finding it just big enough for her. She heard talking, which grew louder and clearer as she got closer. She peeked through the grate and saw about five men who looked like the Sour Bunch member Izuku had shown her and Ochaco before the mission.
"So...Ready for the plan tonight?"
The other nodded excitedly. "And it's our best plan yet! She said it'll be payback for our failure at Sparkle Theater."
"Too bad we're on guard duty for the Dark Door. Imagine if one of those Police Officers found their way through again. That Officer would have told Peach about us for sure. Imagine if we were stopped by her again."
"That would be so embarrasing, expecially for-"
The grate gave out and Tsu fell inside, landing right in front of the two guards. One pointed a sword at her, the other holding out his hands in a Kung-Fu fighting position.
"A spy?"
"Probably sent by those cops. We should alert her."
Tsu grabbed a handful of dirt and threw it in the guard's eyes. They both screamed and she made her way back through the air vent back outside. She rejoined with Izuku and Ochaco.
"I'm sorry, ribbit. I found a way in, but now they know we're here."
Izuku prepared the net gun. "Okay, did you get anything?"
"They were talking about a plan, and mentioned a person named Peach and a place called Sparkle Theater. But that's all I heard before the air vent broke, ribbit."
A small purple glow came from the blocked-off area Tsu had just came from, and Sour Bunch members came piling over, holding spears, swords, and staffs. A few were prepared with Kung-Fu techniques, and there were a couple of them dressed as ice skaters as well.
The woman came to them last, a scepter in her left hand. She was a lot more beautiful in person, and taller than Izuku expected. He glanced towards the bottom of her dress, seeing that she was floating about 30.48 centimeters from the ground.
"My eyes are up here," she said. Her voice was surprisingly deep.
Izuku looked her in the eyes. They were, for the most part, cold and unforgiving, but still held a hint of joy and exctement deep within them.
"There we are. Now you and I are having a discussion." She held out her hand slightly in front of her. "Who are you, and why are you here? I was alerted by my delightful Sour Bunch that we had some hooligans trying to sneak into our base."
Izuku glanced to Ochaco, who nodded. "My name's Deku. I'm a pro hero, and I'm here to stop you and your Sour Bunch."
"Pro hero? Ah, pishposh, must be some sort of city version of being a Policemen. But since you're here to stop us...I'll have to put a pin in that thought there. You see, there is no way you could ever hope in success with that plan."
He pointed the net gun to her. "Well, say that to this!"
He fired it off, directly at her, but she flew away from it. She held out her free hand, then moved it to the left side as she avoided attempted attacks from Izuku, Ochaco, and Tsu. There was a ding, and a purple train came right for Izuku. Out of reflex, he punched it, and it hit her right in the face. She flopped backwards.
A Sour Bunch member gasped loudly. "Madame Grape!"
Attila came to the front and twirled his sword. "Protect Madame Grape! These 'heroes' can hurt her, so they must be stopped."
She twitched, then recovered and straightened herself back out. "Hmph, not terrible. I would have expected better from someone who claims to protect everyone, but I suppose you do what you must." She snapped, and the small ones from the security camera footage surrounded her in a zig-zagged circle. "But now I know to not underestimate you just because you're young. I do suppose he did put up quite the fight, but we has a strange power so I cannot excuse that. He's weak otherwise. It's showtime, Deku."
"Did you see that?" Ochaco asked. "She dodged our attacks, but her own hurt her."
"Then we need to send them back to her to stop her."
"Actually," Grape pulled her hand back. "Stand down, Sour Bunch. I have an idea." She pointed her scepter at Izuku. "You, you dumb rodent, I have something else for you to try and stop. Say hello to Disco Feather, my pet."
A giant bird with an afro and the body of a disco ball came swooping in. He landed on his single foot in front of Izuku.
Grape chuckled. "Well? What do you think?"
Disco Feather spread his wings wide. "You'll know wrath of Darkle!"
Grape pet the bird's body. "That's a good birdie, yes. Show these showstoppers what they're dealing w-"
Ochaco had used her Quirk on the net that had missed her before, used the building to kick off of as she held onto it, and released the net right above her. The net electrocuted her until she passed out, smoke coming from her body.
Disco Feather tried to avenge her, but once Izuku sent back two projectiles, he gave up. The Sour Bunch all tossed their weapons to the ground.
"Madame Grape," said one of the small round ones, as he came closer to the net. "Y-you captured Madame Grape?"
"Don't touch that, ribbit." Tsu gently pushed him away. "You'll get shocked too."
"It's over, Madame Grape is gone." Attila tossed his weapon to the ground last. "We surrender." He went to his knees, head bowed.
Ochaco grabbed the net, straining to pick it up. She just settled on using her Quirk on it again. "Should we take them in too? They might try to pull something if they're left alone."
"We should," Izuku agreed, "just in case."
"You actually managed to capture her? And so quickly?" The Police Chief said, a bit relived.
Izuku nodded. "Thanks to Uravity! She was the one who caught her, really. Froppy and I were more like an accidental distraction. But it worked out, and I think that's what matters."
"Also," Ochaco released Grape, and she landed on the ground with a thud, "the Sour Bunch turned themselves in when we captured her. Now we don't need to worry about them anymore."
Tsu nodded. "Guards are putting them in cells right now, ribbit."
Grape tried to get up, but the net shocked her again. She nearly fell to the ground, smoke rising from her again. "You think you have won, hm? But things are just beginning. We haven't gotten to the final performance, and I will refuse to give up until th-"
The Police Chief tazered her, and she passed out again. "Well, follow me. Take her with you."
Izuku grabbed the top of the net and dragged her along. They headed down a hall that needed a code card to enter. He motioned towards an empty cell and Izuku placed her inside. The door shut.
"We need to learn more about her."
"Actually, I have her name and Quirk now. Her name is Madame Grape and her Quirk is called Darkle."
"I see. Could you come by tomorrow? I'll let you know if we get any more information then."
"Okay. See you tomorrow." He bowed and left.
