Chapter 4: Therapy:
Bassaam's POV:
I'm now seeing a therapist about my problem.
"I can't explain what happened," I said.
"It's possible you may have developed a dissociative identity disorder," she says, "did you have a good family?"
"Well... no," I said, "my parents always ignored me, and my sister always saw me as her inferior!"
"There's the problem," she says, "your family's abuse caused this! All you have to do is try to ignore them! Remind yourself that you are the best person you can be!"
. . .
She's right and that's what I'm going to do!
. . .
I then got back to work on my school. This is going to be perfect and nothing's going to ruin it for me!
