Chapter 10: On the Loose:
Sosa's POV:
I had that dream again. About the ocean. I can't explain it, but I believe I am meant to live in it, but how can that be? I am human! Humans can't live underwater unless they're Atlantean! What does it mean?
Biwako's POV:
I have been hinting at Bassaam to ask out Yoshiko, but he won't get the message! He just kept walking into this room that I never know about. I wonder what he's up to.
Bassaam's POV:
We just got some new students, Josuke Harigae, he's the school bully. I tried to say no, because I have a thing about bullies, but his parents insisted. Ronald and Harold Frumpkin. Ronald's the kid who gets picked on; Harold's just weird. Angelica Pickles, she's a brat. Susie Carmichael, she's nice and a good singer. And Tsumemasa Fujiyama, he's deaf and his parents are helping me with my experiments.
. . .
I showed the Fujiyamas my experiment. "And he thinks he's you," asks Tsukinomi.
"Weird, right," I asked.
"Fascinating," says Tsukinomi, "it could be possible that because he came from your DNA, he had your memories, but only your memories, effecting him psychologically!"
"He can't even see himself in a mirror," I said, "he just sees me!"
"It seems his brain refuses to accept anything else," says Tsugatsu.
"There's another experiment I want you show you," I said.
. . .
We entered the room with the abyss. "This is another experiment I made," I said, "combining the DNA of a worm with givanium!" Then he came. "Say hello to Zolphius!"
"Hola, es un placer conocerte."
"I don't know why he speaks Spanish," I said. We then heard something.
. . .
The first experiment broke out! "Bassaam, do you have any problems we should know about," asks Tsukinomi.
I then realized what was going to happen! I ran!
. . .
I saw him and he was heading for Biwako and Ori. "Stop!" I grabbed his shoulder, and he went nuts and attacked me! Biwako and Ori saw what was going on! Biwako then knocked him out!
. . .
I told them everything. "So, this has been under the school," asks Biwako.
"And you created... this guy," asks Ori, "but he thinks he's you because you used your DNA?"
"Pretty much," I said.
"Bassaam, what you did was madness," says Biwako, "and this... this... Flumbo..."
"Flumbo," I asked, "no, his name is Banban!"
"I still say Banban looks better in red," says Ori.
"His name could be Ralph for all I care," says Biwako, "you made a monster!"
"He's just confused," I said.
"And what about the part where he attacked you," asks Ori.
"How would you react if you saw someone who looks like you... or how you think you look at least!"
"Is there something else you're hiding," asks Ori.
I can't tell them I have a psychological problem that hasn't come up in a while. "Nope, nothing else!"
Sosa's POV:
I was secretly listening to them. So, he can create creatures like this! I wonder what else this... givanium can do!
Kazunori's POV:
Just as I thought! He discovered the research lab I used to work at before Project: Eden! I must do something!
Biwako's POV:
The Flumbo was in its cell. I then entered. "Biwako, you have to listen! I'm the real Bassaam..."
"No, you're not," I said, "you're just an abomination!" I then stabbed him... a lot! I have a confession! There's a reason I couldn't find a teaching job... because people say I'm not fit to teach! Something about me being too... dangerous to be around! Anyway, as far as I know... this thing is dead!
Bassaam's POV:
I entered Banban's cell, and I saw he was dead! How could this happen! I checked the security footage... and nothing! Who could have... I then had a thought! What if it was me? I have to do something about my... problem!
To Be Continued
This chapter is an alternate take on Chapter 41 of Rugrats Adventures because Banban's Kindergarten is now in Domino City, Tokyo Prefecture, Kanto Region, Honshu Island, Country of Japan instead of being in San Francisco, California, America thanks to the Crisis that happen. This chapter has Banban's Kindergarten doing an international student exchange. Tsumemasa Fujiyama AKA Captain Fiddles is based on the STA Animation Captain Fiddles. In the next chapter, Bassaam attempts to remove his problem.
