Ch 1
Before Rome, before Babylon, before the Pyramids, there was Khandaq. The first self-governing people on Earth, Khandaq was the center of power and enlightenment. For centuries, they thrived. But then came King Ahk-Ton. Using the army to seize power, Ahk-Ton became a tyrant. But he had even darker ambitions. Obsessed with dark magic, Ahk-Ton's real goal was to forge the Crown of Sabbac. To make the crown, he needed Eternium. mA rare mineral of magic material, which is only found in Kahndaq. So he enslaved his own people and forced them to dig. Kahndaq seemed to be teetering on the edge of a cliff. What they needed…Was a hero. King Ahk-Ton knew that this spark could quickly start a fire. So he ordered it to be extinguished. They thought they had a martyr. But instead they got a miracle. The Wizard Council, the sacred guardians of the earth empowered him with the grace of an ancient god. And a boy became a hero. But the crown had been forged, And when the Hero arrived at the palace to challenge him King Ahk-Ton summoned evil forces. In the ensuing battle, the palace was destroyed, but the Champion won. The wizards hid the Crown of Sabbac so it didn't fall into human hands again. And the Champion was never heard from again. Today, Kahndaq is occupied by international mercenaries, Intergang, the latest in a series of alien invaders. But legend has it, whenever Kahndaq needs him the most, the hero will return to restore independence to the people. This is a very long wait.
