Ch 3
ARGUS leader Amanda Waller called in Carter Hall/Hawkman to take Adam into custody. Hawkman and his fellow heroes in the Justice Society of America came to the mission. Doctor Fate was a sorcerer, Cyclone had air powers, and Atom Smasher had the power of size alteration. Adrianna and Amon got captured by the Intergang and Adam came in. One of the troopers hit Adam with a bar but it did nothing and the trooper was thrown into the sea. After Amon and Adrianna took cover, the troopers tried to shoot him.
Teth-Adam then defended himself by stopping the shots with his hand. When another trooper ran out of bullets, he prepared to draw a pistol while other troopers shot at him, Then Adam fired a lightning bolt killing him and killing all the troopers around him. Adam then began to be fired at by two troopers from a turret, so he quickly flew towards them, grabbing them and carrying them high, preparing to drop them.
He dropped the troopers but then Hawkman saved the troopers. The rest of the troopers tried to run away but Adam fried them. "Okay, I don't know what their crimes are but we should have a trial for due process." Hawkman said. "Let the gods be their judgement." Adam replied. "You don't look like Intergang." "We're here to restore peace to Kahndaq. And we will use force if necessary." Hawkman said. "Force is always necessary." Adam replied. "Kneel if you don't want to die." Doctor Fate added.
"Before, I was a slave. Then I was reborn a god." Adam said. "Now I kneel before no one." Adam fired lightning at Fate and Hawkman who used their shields to block it. Then Fate made an illusion of old Kahndaq and Hawkman knocked Adam into cars. "Say the word so we can all go home." Hawkman said. "I don't have a home." Adam replied. Then Hawkman struck but Adam grabbed Hawkman's mace before blasting Hawkman into a car. Adam then carried Hawkman into the sky and they had an aerial fistfight until Hawkman blasted Adam to the ground with energy from his mace.
Then Cyclone locked Adam behind construction bars. Adam unleashed an energy charge to get rid of them, and took to the sky again, but Hawkman tried to attack him, so Adam defended himself by grabbing him and swinging him around.
Then Hawkman knocked Adam down to the ground. Doctor Fate then struck Adam with crystalline fractals and Adam screamed.
The clones of Fate tried to contain Adam who tried to hit them so Fate froze Adam with a immobilization spell but Adam broke himself free with lightning. Hawkman threw a truck at Adam who destroyed it with a lightning bolt.
Then Atom Smasher came in and crushed Adam.
Adam still wasn't done yet and he manipulated the energy of nearby appliances to get enough power to burst out of Atom Smasher's hand, then he hit Atom Smasher in the face and flew off.
No one could stop him.
He was too powerful.
