Chapter 30: The Search:
Yoshiko's POV:
I haven't heard from Bassaam. I decided to take a look. I read a sign that school was closed due to mysterious problems. Something wasn't right!
. . .
I snuck in and started looking around. I then found a secret door. It's surprisingly easy to find.
. . .
I found this underground lab. I then searched the place.
. . .
I found this abyss. I then looked and I saw a giant scribbled face. "That... that's probably just a statue," I said. I then left.
. . .
I continued and I heard something. I then took a peek in, and I saw a green/purple man entertaining a purple kangaroo with jokes. Wait... that green and purple guy sounds familiar! I then left.
. . .
I found this room where I found all these caged monsters. Something isn't right. One of them, the one who looks like the Banbaleena depiction looked at me. "Yoshiko?" I then ran.
. . .
I was running, but then I saw this giant green monster. He looked down at me and I ran again.
. . .
I kept running until I ran into this guy who looks like the Banban depiction. I screamed. "Yoshiko, wait..."
"Bassaam," I asked.
. . .
He explained everything to me. "... and that's the story," says Bassaam, "so, what do you say?"
I just stared. "Are you kidding me," I asked, "you're turning people into monsters... wait... are you going to do that to me?"
"No, after this experience with a jellyfish... don't ask, I decided to stop doing that," says Bassaam.
"So, can you turn them back," I asked.
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... no," says Bassaam, "but don't worry, I'm going to present them to the kids! The kids will like them, and we can go back to normal!"
"Bassaam, parents are not going to let their kids go to a place run by monsters," I said.
"Trust me, it'll work," says Bassaam, "so, about that deal you offered me before..."
"I'm sorry," I said, "but I don't think this will be a good investment. But I will at least see how your plan work... but I have to be honest. I don't think this will be a good idea."
"I understand," says Bassaam.
I then got up and started walking.
