Zoe was standing on the balcony overlooking Paris. She hoped Marinette and Adrien were safe, over in America. Yesterday, both Ladybug and Chat Noir had been called to deal with a rogue new Miraculous holder that was evading the American Miraculous team, lead by Eagle.
She heard the screen door slid open and Chloe came out next to her. In her sister's hands was two mugs, one in a purple mug and one in a yellow.
"Tea?" Chloe offered her the yellow mug. Chloe was wearing a lavender tank top and shorts. It was still hot in Paris, but the evening air had chilled things a little.
"Underdressed for the evening, aren't you?" Zoe teased as she took the mug.
"I was snuggling with Brina." Chloe admitted. "Are you alright with Marinette over the ocean?"
Zoe nodded. "I would have gone too but we had work on the movie to look over. I'll just have to go next time."
Chloe chuckled. "Still, I bet Marinette is missing you just as much as you are missing her. Hopefully, they will deal with the treat and be back soon. But I know how tricky rogue holders can be, having been one myself."
Zoe blanched. She and Chloe tried to avoid the subject, but Pollen still had not fully forgiven Chloe.
"I wonder every day if maybe somewhere out there, I had not been a spoiled little brat who ruined my chances with Pollen. Maybe it would be you set to be the Butterfly. You would make a lovely Butterfly, Zoe."
Zoe blushed at her sister's compliment. "As will you, sister."
The two of them hugged before sitting there in silence to enjoy the Parisan evening air and their warm mugs of tea, waiting for their superhero friends to return.
