Today, Lyra was not very pleased with the call she had got from the school principal saying that Lucky got into a fist fight with his school bully.
"I wonder why Lucky got into a fight with that kid at school today?" Lyra wondered, not feeling very pleased. Meanwhile, Lucky was walking home from school feeling extremely angry. "I really hate that kid. I don't get why he has to be mean to me all the time," Lucky said angrily to himself.
Once Lyra saw Lucky coming home, she decided to get a chair for Lucky to sit on and talk to him. After Lucky came to the door, Lyra had Lucky sit down on the chair. "Come sit, please," Lyra said firmly. "Okay, Lyra," Lucky said, feeling nervous.
"I got a call from the school principal today, and he told me that you got into a fist fight today," explained Lyra. Lucky then started crying and needed to explain what happened. "It's okay, Lucky. I'm not mad, but what possessed you to do something like that?" Asked Lyra.
"That's kid was being mean to me again, and he's just been mean to me too many times before, and today I just got so angry, and the fight just happened," Lucky explained tearfully. Lyra then gave Lucky a sympathetic look and explained something to him that might make him learn a lesson.
"You know Lucky, when you were little, Lucas didn't get into a fist fight, but was attacked by a girl because she hated his leather jacket, and I was once attacked by a boy because he hated my scarf," explained Lyra.
"Oh my, that really happened?" Asked Lucky. "Yes, it did," Lyra replied back. "Another thing, Lucky, next time, let's try to control our emotions and think before we get that angry," explained Lyra. After that, Lucky and Lyra hugged each other and went to the kitchen to have dinner.
