Flashback
Middle Park
A few months after he arrived in the United States, Naruto was seen sleeping on a bench in the middle of Liberty City's big park, with a blanket across his body. It may look like he was homeless but that would be a mistake as he simply decided to sleep on the bench instead of the car. Since it was a rather warm few days, he was again stuck on Algonquin, given the bridges were again closed.
"Hey, get up!"
Naruto's head got poked causing his eyes to open up, seeing it was a patrol officer who just woke him up—looking stern as he was about to give him a ticket most likely.
"Get up and move it."
Naruto sighed and stood up as he removed the blanket to show he was wearing the Merryweather camo pants, black shirt, and boots he wore.
"Sorry officer, just needed to sleep-"
"It's okay, kid. Leave it." The officer stopped him from speaking, "I can assume you just came overseas?"
Naruto took a moment before he realized the clothes he wore were giving the impression to the officer he was one of the homeless folks around who were veterans.
"Listen, kid, I am going to let you off the hook this time, but try to find some help, okay?"
"Uhm…sure…thank you."
Before the officer could say anything else his radio went off and he got himself in a situation he needed to respond, leaving the young blond on his own as he ran through the park
As he was left alone, Naruto folded the blanket before returning to the car parked near Middle Park. It was a long walk by the looks of it as the blond was making his way southwards to the richer part of Algonquin, just near Middle Park West he remembered where he parked the cab.
While on his way he walked past the few joggers and pedestrians who were up early, with the homeless being more of a visible presence in the park which was normal to see in this city as they were usually everywhere. Naruto wasn't bothered by it, not even when they were asking him for money from time to time or even offering some 'acts' in desperation…
"Faggot!"
Naruto heard that and turned his head around seeing that underneath an overpass a man with a baseball bat was seen cornering another man in a sporting outfit who was backed up against the wall and looking frightened by the presence of the head-shaven buff guy.
"Filthy homo!"
The bully slammed the bat against the man as he tried to defend himself and he fell to the ground, getting hit in the arm and crying in pain.
"Ahh! Help me!"
"HEY!" Naruto began running towards the scene, "Stop that!"
"Stay out of it, fag lover!" The man with the bat warned him as he turned around and pointed the bat at the approaching blond, "I'm going to teach this fag a lesson-"
Naruto grabbed the end of the bat and yanked it harshly away from the bigot's hand before he punched his fist across the face, knocking the man down to the ground and quickly putting himself between him and the victim.
"I'm only saying this once, so you listen carefully, bastard." Naruto said aiming the bat at the downed bigot with a fearful warning, "Leave now, and don't let me see your face again bashing people in the face, you got that!"
"Police, freeze!"
Before he could get a response from the bigot two peace officers of the LCDP ran over this causing the bigot to get up and run away with the second officer taking the chase after him while the other shouted.
"You hands up!"
"Wait, officer, wait!" The victim got up holding his arm as he put back his glasses and told the cop, "This man right here came to save me."
"Okay, stay here then, mister. An ambulance is on the way," The officer said as he took off calling it in the radio, "Suspect on foot going northwards Middle Park, colleague in pursuit!"
The second officer took off after his colleague after the suspect, leaving Naruto to then be alone with the wounded man in his sporting outfit whom he approached.
"Mister, are you alr-"
"Oh great, should've listened to that moron Evan for once!" The man sounded irritated as he got back up properly and cleaned the dirt off his clothes before he turned to the blond, "Where are my manners? Young man, thank you for helping scare that baboon away."
"No problem, happy to help. Mister…"
"Tony Prince, better known as Gay Tony, that's my name." The man introduced himself as such name, he then asked right out of nowhere, "If you don't mind me asking, weren't you the guy who I just saw sleeping on that bench?"
"Yeah…Why?"
"How would you like a job?"
Flashback ends
Westminster
Standing now in front of the closed nightclub of Maisonette 9, Naruto had just arrived after he finished a call with Fu about his boss calling him in for a staff meeting, the first that could be finally called for all staff with the bridges to Dukes and Broker now opened permanently.
It was still worth thinking back to how the blond managed to get the job working for the owner of two of LC's most famous nightclubs by saving him from a bigot who targeted him for his sexuality, having taken the job as a driver for VIP's, but also on occasion doing security for both the club here and the gay nightclub Hercules that was down the street. Of course, he could do part-time between working cab fares and others and job security when the cab fares were getting low.
As he stood waiting outside, Naruto then happened to feel his phone going off in his pocket as it was put in vibration mode he then pulled it out to see it was his sister calling.
"Narumi?"
"Naruto, quick update - Ling called in another shoot for you and Konan, at the end of the week she wants all of us to meet the star of the next upcoming project."
"Alright, I can handle that, but I got called by my other employer today," Naruto informed her just when the entrance door of the nightclub opened.
one of the bouncers spotted him and quickly spotted him calling before walking back into the club.
"Either way come by the studio tonight or so when you can, Ling wants to introduce you to someone else."
"I'll try, thank you, sis." Naruto thanked her and smiled, "And say hi to Anko for me."
"Will do, you just keep it in your pants, Romeo." Narumi replied in a bit of a stern, but also annoyed tone, "Already heard stories about you in this city, try not to make a kid already."
"Hey, I-"
The conversation ended with Narumi hanging up, causing Naruto to sigh as he put the phone away and opened the door to the nightclub, entering his secondary workplace and getting ready to start his shift.
Working in Liberty City's nightlife was a moneymaker, that was a fact.
North Holland
In the northern part of the Algonquin, a public bus happened to drive in and stop at a halt just across the basketball courts, with a few people seen coming in then one person was coming out of the bus someone who hadn't been in this part of town for years.
For nearly ten years he was in a federal prison, Dwayne Forge was back in his old neighborhood. The bald black man with a beard came with a suitcase with some spare clothes and what he wore, a black leather jacket over a white shirt with some jeans and boots.
Having gone to prison for selling crack in the 1990s, the former leader of the North Holland Hustlers, the man found himself in a place that nearly looked foreign to him, unable to describe how it was different he was, however, seeing one thing that was the same right across the street.
Hustling, boys working on the corner with them selling whatever they had in their pockets to customers who were paying them on the spot for some dope, right in the open for any cop to take pictures from a distance.
Youngsters, they all make the same mistakes.
"Dwayne Forge?"
The bald man heard his name being called, not expecting it in the slightest as he had only called Playboy a few days ago with no answer, he turned right around to be surprised to see who stood there, with only one arm but the body that he recognized from the local gym - it was Ay in his sports gear and he extended his hand out.
"Welcome home."
Inside the gym, one of Ay's people was seen walking over with two cups of coffee he had prepared for the owner and the recently paroled gangster looking out the window. The two have to sit at the same one that got shot out a few weeks back but has been replaced by now.
"So it's true…about your arm."
"You can see it for yourself, so yeah." Ay just raised his bandaged left shoulder, showing not to be bothered by it. "Doctors tried to save it but they tried their best."
"Still fucked up to see that happening to you, man," Dwayne said, shaking his head while at it. "It shouldn't have happened….things have changed. "
Ay agreed. "They have."
Both were in agreement, it was Dwayne was really in a new era that he was not prepared for, seeing the local hustlers had more than just slinging rocks or doing stickups with them now expanding to other venues both illegal and legal. It was no wonder the streets looked crazier than before.
For Ay it was the same but from the perspective of going around the world and returning from his tour seeing how criminality had changed in the neighborhood especially those he knew were in that criminal environment, like Dwayne.
It was so Dwayne and Ay are from the same block, with them not being of the same age, it was that his little brother happened to be friends…
"How's Killer B doing-"
"Don't please, I hate that nickname." Ay said, visibly annoyed but then sighed as he answered, "He's doing alright, still making songs."
"Yeah, I heard. A few cats doing time were putting his music in their cells." Dwayne said while taking a sip from his coffee, "Shit is alright, but I barely listen to rap nowadays."
"Neither do I, but that's because I traveled around and got into different types of music." Ay said, shaking his head, "Meanwhile everyone around me seems to listen to the same garbage repeatedly."
"That's the hood for you, things never change," Dwayne said looking back outside the window to the other side of the street, seeing the group of hustlers still dealing with customers while others were on the lookout.
"He still hanging out with Playboy by any chance?"
"No, they severed a few months back." Ay said holding his mug while turning back to Dwayne, "Perhaps the smartest thing he ever did, but he still works with some people, like Darui."
Dwayne questioned, "You mean the Uptown Riders?"
"Yes, Darui and others who are ex-military hang out in the Northwood Projects, riding those Japanese bikes." Ay said before asking, "What about you? You talked to Trey Stewart lately?"
"I tried…called a couple of times, but nothing." Dwayne shook his head, "I've been out of the loop for so long, I doubt people remember me. But fuck it."
Just then a car happened to drive past the window, a dark brown Dukes muscle car with two passengers inside was seen approaching the corner where the group of hustlers stood…
Ay asked, "You planning on visiting the kid?"
"Have to - it is my place to begin with."
*POP!*
The conversation got cut short by the sound of gunfire, with the two looking outside and seeing the Dukes muscle car was the source of it, with the passenger was seen holding two pistols out of the window and firing both of them at the hustlers, with the shooter angrily shouting.
"Fuck Playboy X!"
Squeezing both triggers at once multiple times the shooter hit multiple hustlers at once with them not having a proper time to react as two men fell down the ground at once, with a third hustler failing to reach his gun while getting shot twice in the chest directly.
The shooting commenced with more people getting hit including not only a few hustlers but also some customers and even innocent bystanders who were trying to flee or duck for cover.
Then the spotters reached back by firing back at the Dukes with their own pistols, hitting the car multiple times and the back window, forcing the Drive-By to end as the shooter was heard yelling.
"Go! Go! Go!"
The muscle car drove off as fast as it came with it leaving a chaotic scene, with the first people running out were Ay and some of his gym workers to the scene while the surviving hustlers dispersed quickly at the sound of police sirens.
When they arrived at the corner, two innocent bystanders had been injured by bullets, one of them not reacting, and an incredible number of bullets had been discharged; there were almost three dozen cases left on the street with three hustlers already dead and four others still responding.
"Call 911!" Ay shouted to one of his workers, helping one victim, "And get the first aid kits!"
Also walking up the scene was Dwayne who then asked, "What can I do?"
"Hold this kid's head up and keep him awake," Ay said as he went on to help another victim, Dwayne did so and kneeled next to the youngster who was wearing a cap and was hit in the chest twice, but he was awake enough to see who was helping him.
"Hey, aint you-"
"Hold on, son, and don't talk too much," Dwayne said while holding the kid's head up, "Just spare your energy."
The kid stayed awake with Dwayne's help. The first ambulances arrived on the scene soon with some cops.
Whatever he walked into, it wasn't going to be the last.
Maisonette 9
Inside the tropical-themed basement-level nightclub, the staff was the only people present now in this usually packed room. Bouncers, DJs, waitresses, and even bathroom attendees all gathered at the bar where they were served drinks. Mainly a glass of champagne, keeping it to one since they needed to work in a few hours.
"Here you go." The female bartender said, handing over one champagne glass, "Nice to see you back, Naruto."
Accepting the glass Naruto smiled at the bartender, "Thank you, Cindy."
The girl Cindy gave him an innocent smile back with a light blush before she continued to serve the others, Naruto was about to take a sip from his glass, but he instead got another glass to toast on, from one dark-skinned man who he hadn't seen in a while.
"Good to see, N." Luis greeted him with a champagne glass to toast to him, "Toast?"
"Why not, toast."
Both men toasted their glasses just as one of their female colleagues walked past with a glass in each of her hands, Joni in her pink dress walked past the two men with a sway of her hips directed to them before going to the others signaling both of them.
"Someone's happy to see you." Luis stopped looking at her before turning to Naruto. "For real though, good to have you back."
"No problem, man. I always like working with you guys." Naruto smiled, rubbing his chest a bit, "Been a few harsh days, not gonna lie. So a change of work fits."
"Good, because Dessie and I have been busy lately with the club management and we could use the backup," Luis said looking around to see Troy trying to talk to Dessie who was getting annoyed by his complaints about working at Hercules, with the staff of the gay nightclub laughing at the scene.
Naruto shook his head at Troy in amusement before he then heard a door open behind him, followed by their boss entering the scene.
"Ladies, gentlemen, may I have your attention please!" Gay Tony said as he walked to the center and garnished the attention of his workforce, wearing his standard suit and purple-shaded sunglasses, "First of all I want to thank you all for coming on such short notice and taking advantage of our champagne, of course."
"Any time, T." Luis said raising his glass, "Any time."
The others raised their glasses and joined Luis with some laughter, with Tony just nodding it off and spotting Naruto.
"Ah, Naruto. Good to see you could make it." Tony said pointing at his blond driver, "Because we're going to be busy tonight, normally I'd give this job to Lou here but I need him here now."
"How so?" Luis asked.
"Because for two reasons," Tony said putting out both his index and middle finger, "One, she's Japanese, and two, I know she's way out of your league."
The teasing got Luis to shake his head given the Dominican got himself a reputation in the clubs like Naruto. The reputation where they'd go to the bathroom with him and come out with their legs shaking, a reputation similar to Naruto whose only difference was that he wasn't frequently in the clubs.
"Okay, who's the client?"
"Client? Consider me more of a business partner."
The response from a feminine voice and the sound of business heels stepping out from Tony's office was enough to get everyone's attention. The person walking in was a gorgeous woman.
The woman had green eyes, ankle-length auburn hair arranged in a herringbone pattern at the back, a top knot tied with a dark blue band, and four bangs at the front, her breast has the two long bangs crossed each other just below her chin, and two small bangs that hide her right eye.
She wore a light blue blouse under a navy blue blazer, along with a short, navy blue pencil skirt, black tights emerging underneath, covering her long, smooth pale legs, which led to her feet in black heeled pumps, enough to draw the eye, but sensible enough to be practical for work. It was stylish, and completely highlighted her attractive features, which were drawing the attention of half the staff immediately.
"Everyone, I'd like to introduce you all to a business associate of mine, the lovely Mei Terumi." Tony began. "She is a personal friend of mine who normally lives in Vice City, but is blessing me today with her presence in Liberty City."
"Thank you, Tony. But you are too kind." Mei said, smiling at him. "You should come more often to Vice City, I'd do you good."
"Uh, believe me, I want to, but business is just nauseating." Tony groaned as he held his hands up, "Not everyone is as financially secure as you, dear. Like Lord, we could use a bailout like those bankers.
"Then I'll guess my little financial injection might be enough to keep your clubs afloat," Mei chuckled along the line before she asked, "Now I need to go to a different business meeting if you don't mind, dear."
"Of course, that is why I am designating my best driver," Tony said before turning to Naruto, "Kid, I want you to take Miss Terumi here wherever she wants to go."
"No problem," Naruto said before turning to the lady, "Miss Terumi."
Terumi's smile grew seductive as she turned to Tony, "Thank you. For lending me this young man…I'll make sure not to exhaust him."
Whilst making that comment, Tony's business associate already got some howls and laughter from the male staff while one particular bartender female was looking envious at her, with Naruto following suit, with Tony telling Luis in a whisper.
"I'm hoping this was the right choice."
Luis was confused, "How so?"
"Mei has a type…and I happen to find out our immigrant driver happens to fit it."
…
Entering the Stretch E limousine parked outside the nightclub, Naruto entered the driver's seat with the keys in the ignition as Mei Terumi entered the backseat.
"Where to Ma'am?" Naruto asked his passenger.
In the back seat, Mei buckled up and got comfortable. "Banner Hotel & Spa, in north Star Junction, and take your time."
Naruto pulled out of the gutter, heading south to turn around as he made his way northwards with Mei beginning to start talking to break the time.
"So, you're Tony's new boy? How did you meet him?"
"Oh, he and I met in Middle Park," Naruto answered her politely while driving, "I happened to be there sleeping when he and I crossed paths."
"So he picked you up from a park bench. And here I thought he couldn't get desperate."
"Wh-what?!" Naruto stuttered as he slammed the brakes, almost hitting the car in front. "No! No, no, I'm not in a relationship like that with him. He's dating some roided-up cokehead named Evan last I checked. And he's dragging Tony down with him."
"Oh Tony, you idiot. Always with the damn drug leeches..." Mei sighed, "He got someone to try and keep him on the right track?"
"He has Luis to help him, so don't worry." Naruto said to reassure her, "But I want to ask how you know Tony. If I may ask."
"1998, Vice City. I used to work for him as an accountant. When I needed more experience on my resume." Mei answered, eyeing his back with interest, "He and I go way back. That's why I decided to pay him back an old debt by making a small investment."
The limousine quickly arrived in Star Junction, which was home to the enormous Banner Hotel & Spa, which was situated at the northeastern intersection of Denver-Exeter Avenue and Lorimar Street.
The limo parked up at the front entrance of the hotel just as one of the doormen approached the ride and opened Mei's door.
"Your room is ready, Miss Terumi, with your luggage and all."
"Thank you, young man," Mei thanked the young man before turning to the driver, "Naruto, am I right?"
"Yes?"
"...Good, very good." Mei sounded before asking, "Mind giving me your number? It would make things a lot easier."
Hesitant at first Naruto then nodded and pulled out a piece of paper he wrote his phone number before he handed it over to the woman, who slipped her into his hand her number with her gave a sly smile with those green emerald eyes.
"Arigato, Naruto-Kun. yoi ichinichi wo sugoshi kudasai."
Leaving the bewildered Naruto in his car when he was just thanked in Japanese, the blond watched as the long-haired businesswoman walked off with the doorman he could've sworn she was teasing him now with her hips swaying left to right for a moment.
There Naruto knew, this wasn't going to be the last time seeing her.
"Man…I need to eat something."
…
"Hotdogs! Good hotdogs for sale!"
With food vendors trying to make a living on the sides of Star Junction's busy streets, Naruto was seen eating next to the parked next to the Burget Shot joint he grabbed some food from. He is enjoying some fries and a burger he was nearly done with while leaning against the Stretch E limo.
Almost finished eating his lunch, Naruto took notice of some of the people looking at him with confused faces and he knew why - someone with clothing like him next to an expensive ride? Thinking he must be some hustler or gunner from up the heights with the latest news coming out from there.
The news was three got killed in a drive-by shooting that happened close to the basketball courts, it being the Hustlers who got the receiving end of the bullets and even a few civilians who got hit in the crossfire with the most likely people who were behind the hit being Clarence Little's crew who had been edging on with the Hustlers and even their neighbors, the Dominicans, over territory and dope that they wanted to expand on. Of course that wasn't coming from Weasel News but from Naruto's own experience of what gangs were active in the Heights. Intelligence gathering was a useful skill he gained from overseas as a PMC.
Now tonight most likely was also bloody, so he's making sure to stay out from there for now - no need to catch bullets in a fight he had no interest in.
"Mister! Mister!"
But before he knew it, Naruto got something pointed at him that was a camera, with a sound engineer holding a microphone then a dude with a ponytail and a familiar-looking face on TV approached him asking questions out of the blue.
"Mind If I ask you questions, like how come someone like you who is dressed like an off-the-boat immigrant is leaning against the car that costs more perhaps than you can make in 20 years?"
Asked such an abrupt question, Naruto recognized the man from the radio and smirked.
"Hey, I know you."
"Well, yeah I am pretty famous…"
"Aren't you that guy wanted in Vice for Kiddy Fiddling?"
The ponytailed man's face turned from glee to horror.
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah, you got the Ponytail, the weaselly face, and even piss on your pants!" Naruto pointed out, "Name's Lazlow, right?"
"Hey! That's not... my piss. Let's keep going!" Lazlow said ordering his filming crew, "Let's go!"
"Goodbye! Kid fiddler! With a smile on his face, Naruto waved him off having just succeeded in frightening away one of the obnoxious celebrities from Liberty City with the mere mention of a minor detail.
Soon after that, he got his phone buzzing in his pocket, picked it up, and saw it was a text message he received from his sister Narumi.
'OMG, did you just call lazlow a p3do?! LMAO! Got 2 tickets to Paradise - see you soon!'
Confused by that text message, Naruto just responded with a smile and told her he'd talk to her soon enough before he threw his empty Burger Shot box into the trash and got into the limo, going back to work.
Meanwhile, in another part of Liberty City, Niko was driving through Broker after having chased throughout the borough for the train he needed to catch on.
The train was carrying a group of people on Manny's list of friends, former friends.
Having tailed the train to the Schottler Station which was located above Sundance Street in South Slopes, with him having taken the necessary precautions.
Driving a stolen gray Karin Intruder sedan, he parked just a good distance away from the car he was meant to keep an eye on, a rusty four-door Emperor that Manny told him they were using to get to an eventual deal somewhere in Dukes - a deal that they were not to reach. Next to his seat laid a Mac-10 machine gun pistol he had purchased from Little Jacob earlier, with one magazine already in, another next to it in case of an emergency, and with the shotgun window already lowered, it was going to be a quick job.
"Damn, son. I hate taking the train."
Walking down the stairs a trio of Latino males, one wearing a yellow shirt with a red hat, the second wearing a dark jersey with yellow, and the third wearing a Puerto Rico shirt were seen coming out.
They approached the car with the yellow shirt man opening the driver's seat just when the sedan began pulling up.
"When we going get us a Patriot or something?" The jersey gang member asked his friends with a snicker while opening the back seat, "Ride in style."
Without the three noticing it, Niko's Intruder drove up to them, with the gun pointed at them in mid-conversation.
"When we make us some money, mamahuevo." The guy in the PR shirt said, ready to get into the shotgun seat, "With our new connect, we will be selling Patriot-"
*TRIIIT!*
The conversation ended abruptly with the first burst of shots that hit the Emperor, the back window shattered, and the man in the jersey jacket getting hit four times in the back before dropping to the pavement.
"Shit!"
Niko squeezed the trigger again and hit the car again with the driver seat getting lit up as the man in the yellow shirt tried to get out but got hit multiple times also with the neck shot causing his blood to splatter across the entire steering wheel with his head falling on it.
Stopping the car, Niko kept aim at the Emperor as he looked for the third gang member, with two down and still one to go - the last one appeared from behind the car with a loaded pistol.
"Bastard!"
Firing twice, the last remaining gang member missed both shots hitting the back window twice, Niko made sure not to make the same mistake as he quickly fired one last burst of fire and lit the man's stomach and gut as he fell back to the street. Enough to permanently end his short-lived revenge attempt.
The moment the shooting ended Niko hit the gas and drove off in his getaway vehicle with the three targets taken out. He made his way out of the crime scene as quickly as he could.
It didn't take long before he managed to get out of the South Slopes neighborhood, he took his cell phone out and went to quick dial, with Manny answering quickly.
"You don't need to worry about people talking garbage no more."
"You're pure ghetto, man. Just like me, kid. I'm gonna thank you in all my acceptance speeches, man, for real."
Hanging up on the conversation Niko puts the phone away, planning now to dump the car somewhere alongside the weapon.
But then he got a text, an anonymous one he read:
'Meet me at the end of the pier at Castle Gardens - take your blond friend with you.'
North Holland
Walking into his home that was between Vauxite and Wardite, the exhausted Luis Lopez closed the door behind him and fell with his butt on the couch, finally getting something he had wanted for a long time: a night off.
It had been an exhausting few months where he was filling in for other colleagues including Naruto, with Naruto finally back and taking over a few shifts, the Dominican man could recalibrate himself for a bit and get some of his private affairs in order. Giving his mother some money for her rent, or perhaps paying some bills that were due, and also contacting a few of his old friends. Or his favorite pastime, getting with some of the girls from the club.
*Gunfire!*
A series of rapid and loud gunshots erupted just outside his apartment, causing the Afro-Latino young man to stand up and wonder what was going on as he walked to his door, carefully of course given that the gunfire sounded like it was close by, but then more gunfire erupted and this sounded more chaotic as now also screams could be heard from around the block.
"What the fuck?"
Getting outside, Luis saw a car drive past his street, a dark-colored Huntley Sport that had four passengers inside of it, all wearing ski masks with two in the back carrying rifles - assault rifles to be exact with the ride riddled with bullet holes, speeding away, one looked visible unwell with him leaning his head sidewards, indicating he was shot.
"PUTAS!"
Out of the street came a man firing his pistol at the speeding Huntley, emptying his clip but missing the ride by a few shots, it was a Dominican gang member he recognized wearing a wifebeater t-shirt and emptying his semi-automatic pistol at the fleeing gunmen.
The gunman spotted him, "Luis!"
"Oscar? Oscar Gomez?" Luis recognized the Gomez Brother who he knew was a high-ranking member of the ND3, "What the fuck is going on?"
"No time, help out man!" Oscar said putting his pistol back into his pants and running to the corner, "They hit us bad!"
Luis followed the Gomez goon as he ran around the corner of his house and discovered a horrific scene left by the shooters: multiple bodies of Dominicans on the front entrance of an apartment building that was a favorite hangout for some members of the ND3. One Dominican had multiple gunshot wounds, tearing his chest apart, and another had his head nearly severed and was dripping blood onto the sidewalk, with the third victim tried to reach for his belt where it showed a pistol, having his guns shot up across the door and letterbox. There were also an astonishing number of shell casings that were left on the street and the amount of broken windows that were shot out.
A brutal attack even by Liberty City standards.
"That bastard Clarence was behind this!" Oscar yelled in anger as he turned to his brother Alonso and a few other ND3 members and corner boys, "Get out of sight and disperse!"
"Luis! Over here!"
Hearing that voice got Luis to turn around once he recognized the voice, it was Henrique kneeling next to Armando, who was lying on the floor holding his arm and bleeding from the leg. He was shot.
"H! A!" Luis ran over to him and held his head up, "Armando, hey, hey! What happened?"
"What do you think happened? He got shot!" Henrique said trying to help his friend up, "We were just about to enter the building until these guys showed up and began shooting the place."
"They were carrying AKs, no doubt about it." Armando told him, grunting in pain as he still held his own 9mm pistol, "I tried shooting at them while they weren't looking, I swear I took out one before they started going for me-Urgh!"
"We gotta go to a hospital, now!" Luis said as he used all his strength and took Armando up who groaned in pain as Henrique took the gun and concealed it.
"H, dispose of them and follow me, we gotta move before the police arrive."
"Who asked you to help-AH!"
"Shut up, you fool." Luis told his friend while bringing him down the street towards the nearby hospital, "Just keep pressure on that wound and don't say anything once we get there."
Luis and his friends began leaving the scene just when the police were nearing, his night off was now ruined by the fact his friend got shot, and bad stuff was boiling up.
In short, it's war.
