Chapter 6: Confusions and Confrontations

The sun had barely begun to rise in the sky, bathing the village of Konoha in its morning light. The main residence of the Hyuga clan, a majestic structure located in the heart of the clan's district, was particularly active that morning. Clan members moved back and forth, preparing for the meeting called by their leader, Hiashi Hyuga. The air was charged with anticipation and curiosity, as it was rare for the patriarch to call a meeting of this magnitude.

In the grand hall of the residence, the most prominent members of the Hyuga clan sat in formal positions, all attentive to what their leader had to say. Hiashi, standing before them, maintained his typical unperturbed expression, but there was a flash of determination in his eyes that did not go unnoticed. Next to him, his eldest daughter, Hinata Hyuga, remained silent, her gaze lowered but with total attention to every word that was about to be spoken.

Hiashi, dressed in his traditional attire, looked at each of those present before speaking, making sure to capture everyone's attention.

"Thank you for attending this meeting," he began with his authoritative yet calm tone. "Today, I have important news that affects not only our clan but also the political structure of Konoha."

Murmurs began to resonate in the hall as clan members exchanged looks of intrigue. Hiashi continued, undisturbed by the reactions.

"As some of you already know, the Uzumaki Clan, a clan historically allied with Konoha, has been without a leader since the fall of Uzushiogakure. However, circumstances have changed. Now, a new leader has been recognized."

The silence that followed these words was profound, everyone anxiously waiting for the name Hiashi was about to reveal. Hinata, who had been listening in silence, slightly lifted her gaze, feeling a growing curiosity and, without knowing why, a slight tension in her chest.

"The new leader of the Uzumaki Clan is Naruto Uzumaki," Hiashi announced, his words echoing in the grand hall.

The impact of the news was immediate. Clan members began to whisper among themselves, surprised and, in some cases, skeptical. Naruto Uzumaki, the boy known for his pranks and extroverted character, was the last name many of them would have expected to hear. Over the years, Naruto had been perceived more as a troublemaker than a leader, and the idea that he now headed one of Konoha's oldest and most respected clans was difficult for them to accept.

Hinata, however, felt a surge of conflicting emotions. Hearing Naruto's name, her heart skipped a beat. Since they were children, Hinata had harbored a deep affection for him, an admiration that had evolved into a silent love over time. The news that Naruto was now the leader of his own clan filled her with pride, but at the same time, it made her feel even more distant from him. Despite everything, she tried to keep a neutral expression, although a slight smile appeared on her lips.

Hiashi, observing his clan's reactions, raised a hand to silence the murmurs.

"I understand that this may be unexpected for many of you," he said firmly, "but we must remember that the Uzumaki Clan has always been an important pillar in Konoha's history. Naruto Uzumaki has shown great will and determination throughout his life, and it is our duty to respect his new status."

Some clan members nodded silently, reluctantly accepting the clan leader's decision, while others continued to murmur among themselves, clearly less convinced.

Hinata, feeling her heart pounding, tried to contain her emotions. However, her father's next words struck her with a force she had not anticipated.

"Moreover, there is another important announcement I want to share with you," Hiashi continued, with an even more solemn tone. "Naruto Uzumaki, as the new leader of the Uzumaki Clan, is engaged to Sasuki Uchiha, the last member of the Uchiha Clan."

The hall, which was already silent, fell into an even deeper silence. The Hyuga clan members were stunned by the revelation, and this time even Hiashi noticed how some gazes turned towards Hinata, the shy daughter who had often been seen watching Naruto from a distance.

Hinata, for her part, felt as if the ground had opened up beneath her feet. The news left her completely bewildered. The name Sasuki Uchiha echoed in her mind, mingling with the image of Naruto. The thought that Naruto was engaged to someone else, and especially someone like Sasuki, overwhelmed her. For years, she had silently harbored her love for Naruto, watching him from afar, cheering for him in his achievements, and now, suddenly, everything seemed to crumble.

Trying to maintain her composure, Hinata clenched her hands in her lap, trying to calm the whirlwind of emotions flooding her. She didn't want to draw attention to herself, but the pain in her chest was undeniable. She had known, deep down, that her feelings for Naruto were a secret she might never reveal, but hearing that he was engaged to someone else was something she was not prepared to face.

Hiashi continued speaking, explaining the political and social implications of Naruto and Sasuki's engagement, but Hinata could barely hear her father's words. All she could think about was how this would change everything she had imagined. Her world, already filled with doubts and internal conflicts, felt even more uncertain.

When the meeting finally ended, the clan members began to rise and leave the hall, still murmuring among themselves about the news they had just heard. Hiashi, having finished his speech, withdrew with the dignity and authority that always characterized him.

Hinata, however, did not move. She remained in her place, feeling her strength leave her. When she finally gathered the energy to get up, she avoided eye contact with any of the other clan members, fearful that her emotions might betray her.

She quickly headed to her room, wishing to be alone. She needed time to process what she had heard, to understand what she felt and how she could face this new reality.

When she reached her room, she closed the door behind her and collapsed onto her futon, hiding her face in her hands. The tears she had held back throughout the meeting finally began to fall, silently rolling down her cheeks.

"Naruto-kun..." she whispered, her voice broken with sadness. "Why... why didn't you tell me?"

The pain of the news mixed with the frustration of having kept her feelings a secret for so long. Hinata had always been aware of her own limitations, of her shyness and lack of confidence. She had watched Naruto from the shadows, admiring his bravery and indomitable spirit, but she had never found the courage to approach him, to express what she felt.

And now, it seemed that the opportunity had slipped through her fingers forever.

Naruto's engagement to Sasuki Uchiha not only meant that he was out of her reach but also represented a painful reminder that her unrequited love would never have the chance to blossom. The idea of seeing them together, of knowing that Naruto was destined for someone else, was almost unbearable.

As Hinata cried silently, her mind filled with memories of all the moments she had seen Naruto, of all the times she had wished to be braver, stronger, so she could be by his side. Now, those desires seemed vain, fantasies that would never come true.

The atmosphere in the Hyuga residence had changed since the meeting that took place that morning. Although the other clan members seemed to have resumed their daily routine, a sense of unease persisted in the air. Hiashi's recent announcement about Naruto Uzumaki as the new leader of the Uzumaki clan, and his engagement to Sasuki Uchiha, had left a mark on more than one person. But for Hinata, the news had been a direct blow to her heart.

Locked in her room, Hinata had spent hours trying to process what she had heard. Although she struggled to maintain a strong appearance, the pain of knowing that Naruto was engaged to someone else, someone as formidable as Sasuki, had left her devastated.

Not far away, Hanabi Hyuga, Hinata's younger sister, had been watching her sister with growing concern. Although Hanabi was still young, she possessed remarkable sharpness and maturity for her age. She didn't need to be a Byakugan genius to see and realize that something had deeply affected her older sister.

Hanabi, unlike Hinata, had always been more direct and bold in how she faced situations. Since she was little, she had admired Hinata, although she had also seen her struggle with her lack of confidence and reserved nature. But in this case, Hinata's sadness worried her more than usual, and although she didn't fully understand why her sister was so down, she felt she had to do something about it.

After the meeting, Hanabi had noticed how Hinata had retreated to her room in silence, without saying a word. Normally, Hinata was discreet, but there was something in the way she left that made Hanabi feel uneasy.

"Hinata-neechan..." Hanabi murmured to herself as she headed toward her sister's door.

Upon reaching it, Hanabi raised her hand to knock on the door but hesitated for a moment. She didn't want to pressure Hinata if she needed time to be alone, but at the same time, she couldn't stand idly by.

Finally, she decided to act. She gently knocked on the door before slowly opening it.

"Hinata-neechan... are you okay?" Hanabi asked, her voice soft but full of concern.

Upon entering, she found Hinata sitting on her futon, staring out the window with a melancholic expression. Although Hinata tried to smile when

she saw her sister, Hanabi could tell that her eyes were red, as if she had been crying.

"I'm fine, Hanabi," Hinata replied, trying to sound convincing. "I just need some time to think."

Hanabi frowned, unconvinced by her sister's response. She knew that Hinata tended to hide her true feelings, especially when it came to her deepest emotions. However, this time Hanabi was not willing to let it go.

"Hinata-neechan, I know something is bothering you," Hanabi insisted, approaching her sister. "I don't like seeing you like this. If there's anything I can do to help, please tell me."

Hinata looked at her younger sister and felt a pang of guilt for worrying her. She knew that Hanabi admired her, and she didn't want to show her how fragile she felt at that moment. But the concern in Hanabi's eyes was evident, and Hinata realized that she couldn't simply pretend everything was okay.

"Hanabi, I don't want you to worry about me," Hinata said softly. "I'm just... processing some things. But I'll be fine, I promise."

Hanabi was not convinced, but she decided not to push further for now. Instead, she decided that she would take matters into her own hands. If Hinata didn't want to talk about what was bothering her, then Hanabi would try to figure it out on her own and do something about it.

After all, Hanabi was not the type to sit around waiting for things to resolve themselves. She knew there was something in Naruto's announcement and his engagement that had deeply affected Hinata, and if that was the case, then she had to do something to protect her sister.

"Alright, Hinata-neechan," Hanabi finally said, nodding. "But if you need anything, I'll be here."

Hinata smiled weakly, grateful for her younger sister's concern, though she couldn't help but feel guilty for making her worry. Hanabi, however, had already made a decision internally.

In the following days, Hanabi began gathering information. She knew that Naruto Uzumaki was at the center of what was affecting her sister, and she decided that she needed to confront him to find out what was going on. If he was the cause of Hinata's sadness, then Hanabi was ready to face him, no matter the consequences.

Hanabi began discreetly inquiring, using both her own knowledge and her observation skills to try to locate Naruto. Although she didn't have much interaction with him, she knew he was known for moving around all of Konoha and that he was always training or doing something that kept him busy.

However, finding Naruto turned out to be more complicated than she had anticipated. Although she knew he lived in the Senju residence, a place that had been recently rehabilitated, she didn't know the exact location. Still, Hanabi was not discouraged. For an entire week, she dedicated herself to searching for Naruto's residence, discreetly asking those who might know, observing the places he frequented, and, above all, keeping a sharp eye every time she left her own residence.

Finally, one morning, after several days of searching, Hanabi succeeded. While passing near the old Senju district, she spotted a house that, although it retained traditional architecture, showed signs of recent activity and restoration. Upon seeing the structure, Hanabi knew she had found what she was looking for.

Determined, she approached the residence's door with firm steps. Despite her young age, Hanabi had always been brave and determined, qualities that now drove her to confront Naruto. She knew she might not be welcome, but she was willing to do it for Hinata. Her sister had suffered in silence for too long, and Hanabi was not willing to let that continue.

Standing in front of the residence's door, Hanabi paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. Although she was determined, she couldn't help but feel a little nervous. After all, this was the first time she was directly confronting someone over something so personal. But she remembered the sadness in Hinata's eyes, and that was all she needed to reinforce her determination.

Just as she was about to knock on the door, a series of thoughts crossed her mind. What would she say to Naruto? How would she confront him without seeming rude or childish? Still, these thoughts did not stop her. She knew she had to act, and if Naruto was engaged to someone else, she wanted to ensure that Hinata didn't suffer any more because of it.

Hanabi raised her hand, ready to knock on the door. But before she could do so, she stopped again, her mind agitated by worry. What if Naruto ignored her? Or worse, what if he made her feel foolish for being so concerned? She shook her head, pushing away those negative thoughts. She couldn't afford to doubt now.

Finally, with her heart pounding, Hanabi knocked on the door, the sound resonating in the morning silence. She stood there, waiting for someone to answer, feeling the adrenaline coursing through her body.

The wait seemed endless, although only a few seconds passed before she heard the sound of footsteps approaching from inside. Hanabi clenched her fists, preparing herself for what she was about to say, not letting her nervousness dominate her.

Hanabi Hyuga remained motionless in front of the Uzumaki-Uchiha residence door, her heart pounding as she waited for someone to answer her call. She had gathered all her determination to get here, but now that she was about to confront Naruto, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of nervousness and courage.

The door slowly opened, revealing a female figure that Hanabi did not expect. Standing before her, framed by the light filtering from inside the house, was Sasuki Uchiha. The young Uchiha, with her imposing presence and serene beauty, observed her with a neutral expression, clearly surprised by the unexpected visit.

For a moment, Hanabi was paralyzed, completely taken aback. She had imagined Sasuki in a very different way, but what she found was a striking beauty that left her speechless. The historical rivalry between the Hyuga and Uchiha clans had fueled in her a mental image of the last Uchiha as someone despicable, an enemy. However, standing before Sasuki, all those preconceived notions vanished.

Sasuki, with an inquisitive look, raised an eyebrow at Hanabi's reaction.

"Can I help you with something?" Sasuki asked in her characteristically calm tone, although her surprise was evident.

Hanabi, recovering from her initial shock, felt the anger she had accumulated over the past week begin to stir again within her. Although Sasuki's beauty had caught her off guard, she did not forget the reason why she had come.

"I... need to speak with Naruto," Hanabi finally said, her voice trembling but determined. "It's important."

Sasuki, though intrigued by the request, maintained her neutral expression.

"Naruto is at home," Sasuki responded. "You can come in and wait in the living room while I call him."

Hanabi nodded, quickly entering the residence. Despite her young age, she maintained a firm and determined posture, determined to confront Naruto once and for all.

The Uzumaki-Uchiha residence was spacious and elegantly decorated, with an air of history and solemnity that reflected both the Senju Clan's heritage and the recent restoration done by Naruto and Sasuki. However, Hanabi barely noticed the details around her. Her mind was focused on what she was going to say and how she would confront Naruto.

Sasuki, who had been attentively observing Hanabi, turned to go find Naruto, but she couldn't help but wonder what reason could have brought the young Hyuga there. Her mind quickly ran through several possibilities, but she decided not to dwell on it for now.

However, just as Sasuki was turning, Hanabi finally found her voice.

"You... you're Sasuki Uchiha, right?" Hanabi asked, her tone doubtful but curious.

Sasuki stopped and looked over her shoulder, nodding slightly.

"That's right," Sasuki responded. "And you're Hanabi Hyuga. I've heard of you."

Hanabi felt a mix of pride and confusion. She hadn't expected Sasuki to know her name, but that didn't change the reason for her visit.

"Naruto... he..." Hanabi began, but stopped, feeling the words catch in her throat. Finally, she decided not to waste any more time. "He has done something terrible to my sister!"

Sasuki frowned slightly, though her interest grew.

"Your sister?" she repeated, now more intrigued. "You mean Hinata?"

Hanabi nodded vehemently, her face hardening as she remembered her sister's sadness.

"Yes," she said firmly. "And I need to speak with him right now."

Sasuki observed Hanabi for a moment, evaluating her seriousness. Although she didn't fully understand the situation, she decided that it was best to let Hanabi express herself. Without further words, she turned and walked down the hall, allowing Hanabi to follow her.

The young Hyuga felt a bit nervous as she walked behind Sasuki. She couldn't help but feel intimidated by Uchiha's presence, who moved with a grace and confidence that Hanabi had not anticipated. Despite everything, Hanabi did not allow her emotions to distract her from her goal. Her mind was clear: she had to confront Naruto for what he had done, or what she believed he had done.

Upon reaching the living room, Sasuki stopped and turned to Hanabi.

"Wait here," Sasuki said calmly. "I'll go get Naruto."

Hanabi nodded, stopping at the living room entrance. As she waited, her mind began to imagine what the confrontation would be like. She wanted to face him with strength, without showing weakness. She was ready to defend her older

sister from what she considered a betrayal.

It wasn't long before Naruto appeared in the living room, with his usual energy and carefree smile.

"Hello, Hanabi!" Naruto greeted enthusiastically, unaware of what was about to happen. "What brings you here?"

But before he could say anything else, Hanabi, with her cheeks flushed from a mix of nerves and fury, pointed at Naruto with an accusatory finger.

"Naruto Uzumaki, you're unfaithful!" she exclaimed loudly, her childish voice echoing in the living room. "How dare you play with my sister and then get engaged to someone else! You're a liar and a traitor!"

Naruto, completely bewildered, stood frozen. The smile disappeared from his face as he tried to process what he had just heard.

"What... what are you saying, Hanabi?" he asked, genuinely confused. "I never played with Hinata! Where did you get that from?"

But Hanabi, determined to make Naruto pay for what she believed he had done, did not stop. She advanced towards him, launching small punches and childish pushes that, although they did not hurt him, took him completely by surprise.

"Don't play innocent!" Hanabi shouted, continuing with her assault. "You've deceived my sister, making her think you cared, while all this time you were engaged to someone else! That's unforgivable, you unfaithful!"

Naruto backed away, raising his hands in defense, not wanting to hurt Hanabi but not understanding how he had ended up in this situation.

"Wait, Hanabi! It's not what you think!" he tried to explain. "I've never done anything to deceive Hinata! I didn't even know she..."

But before he could finish, Hanabi launched another punch, more frustrated than before.

"I don't want to hear your excuses, unfaithful!" she shouted, her eyes shining with tears of rage. "Hinata is sad because of you, and I won't forgive you for it!"

While all this was happening, Sasuki stood at the living room door, watching the scene with crossed arms. Although her expression remained mostly indifferent, there was a slight curve to her lips that indicated she found the situation amusing, perhaps more than she was willing to admit.

Naruto, feeling that the situation was slipping out of his hands, looked at Sasuki, hoping she would intervene.

"Sasuki!" Naruto called, his voice full of desperation. "Please help me here! I don't know what's going on!"

Sasuki looked at him, her black eyes reflecting a mix of amusement and slight irritation. After all, Naruto had been receiving too much female attention lately, and although she would never admit it, that had left her a little upset.

"Unfaithful," Sasuki repeated dryly, imitating Hanabi while shrugging. "It seems someone has gotten you into a good mess, Naruto."

With those words, she turned and withdrew to her office, leaving Naruto alone to deal with the small but fierce Hyuga.

Naruto couldn't believe it. He was being attacked by Hinata's younger sister, accused of something he didn't even fully understand, and now Sasuki was leaving him to his fate. It was as if the universe had decided to turn against him that day.

"Wait, Sasuki!" he tried to call her, but it was too late. Sasuki had disappeared down the hall, leaving Naruto alone with Hanabi.

Finally, exhausted from dodging Hanabi's punches, Naruto decided that the only way to stop the attack was to speak honestly.

"Hanabi, please listen to me!" he exclaimed, trying to make his voice sound as sincere as possible. "I swear, I haven't deceived Hinata! I didn't even know she had those feelings for me!"

Hanabi stopped, her clenched fists trembling slightly as she looked at him with a mix of disbelief and fury.

"Did you really not know?" she asked, her voice lower but filled with doubt. "Didn't you know how much Hinata cared for you?"

Naruto, with his heart in his hand, shook his head.

After the heated confrontation at the Uzumaki-Uchiha residence, Naruto managed to calm Hanabi enough to sit with him and talk. Although the furious energy that had initially driven her had largely dissipated, Hanabi was still visibly affected by the situation. The intensity of her emotions, driven by concern for her older sister, remained palpable.

Naruto, now more serene but still confused by everything that had happened, sat in front of Hanabi in the living room, trying to find the right words to start the conversation.

"Hanabi, I know you're worried about Hinata, and I understand," Naruto began, his voice softer than before. "But I need you to help me better understand what's going on. I don't want Hinata to suffer, I promise. I just want to know how I can help."

Hanabi, with her small hands still clenched in her lap, looked at him with conflicted eyes. On one hand, she wanted to protect her sister and was convinced that Naruto had some responsibility for her pain. But on the other hand, she knew that Hinata had kept her feelings for Naruto a secret for a long time, and she didn't want to betray her sister's trust by revealing more than she should.

"It's complicated," Hanabi finally replied, her voice uncertain but sincere. "Hinata-neechan... has always been strong, but... since the clan meeting, she's been very sad."

Naruto frowned, worried.

"Since the meeting?" he repeated. "What happened at that meeting? Why is she so sad?"

Hanabi looked at Naruto, feeling torn between the desire to protect her sister and the need for someone to help her. She didn't want to reveal too much, but she knew she couldn't fix this on her own. After a moment of hesitation, she decided to tell Naruto what she could without compromising Hinata's private feelings.

"The meeting was to announce that... you're the new leader of the Uzumaki clan," Hanabi slowly explained. "But also... they said you were engaged to Sasuki Uchiha."

Naruto felt a knot in his stomach upon hearing those words. Although he was already aware of the engagement, he hadn't considered how that news could affect others, especially someone as close as Hinata. Now he was beginning to understand that the situation was much more delicate than he had imagined.

"And that's what affected Hinata?" Naruto asked, his voice low as he tried to connect the pieces.

Hanabi slowly nodded, without looking him in the eye.

"Hinata-neechan... has been locked in her room since then," Hanabi said, her tone sad. "She doesn't want to talk to anyone, not even me. And I... don't know what to do to help her."

Naruto felt a wave of guilt upon hearing this. Hinata, who had always been kind and considerate to him, was suffering because of something he hadn't foreseen. Although he had never been very perceptive when it came to other people's feelings, he couldn't ignore what Hanabi was telling him now. He knew he had to do something to remedy the situation.

"Hanabi, I'm so sorry that Hinata is going through this," Naruto said seriously, his eyes reflecting his genuine concern. "If I had known that all of this would hurt her, I would have tried to talk to her earlier. But I didn't know... I didn't know Hinata felt that way about me."

Hanabi looked up, surprised by the sincerity in Naruto's voice. Until this moment, she had only seen him as the culprit of her sister's sadness, but now she was beginning to realize that Naruto was also struggling to understand everything that was happening.

"Did you really not know?" Hanabi asked, her voice softer now, as if seeking confirmation.

Naruto shook his head, feeling more guilty for his ignorance.

"I didn't know, Hanabi," he repeated honestly. "Hinata has always been a good friend, but I never realized she had such deep feelings. And now... I feel terrible for making her suffer without realizing it."

Hanabi observed Naruto in silence for a moment, evaluating the authenticity of his words. Although she still felt an internal conflict, she couldn't deny that Naruto seemed genuinely concerned. This made her lower her guard a little, though she still wasn't completely convinced.

"And what are you going to do now?" Hanabi asked, her voice returning to a more direct tone. "How are you going to fix this?"

Naruto thought for a moment, knowing that there was no easy solution to the situation he found himself in. But he also knew that he couldn't simply ignore what Hanabi had told him. He had to take action, and the first step was to try to talk to Hinata directly.

"I'm going to talk to her," Naruto finally said, with determination in his voice. "Tomorrow I'll go to the Hyuga residence and talk to Hinata. I'll explain what's really going on and try to clear up any misunderstandings. I don't want her to feel alone in this."

Hanabi looked at him, trying to gauge his sincerity. After everything that had happened, she still found it hard to trust that Naruto could handle the situation correctly. But at the same time, she saw that he was willing to try, and that was more than she had expected.

"Alright," Hanabi said after a pause. "But make sure you don't make things worse, Naruto. Hinata-neechan has already suffered enough."

Naruto nodded, understanding the gravity of what Hanabi was saying.

"I promise," he said firmly. "I'll do the best I can."

Hanabi, though still worried, felt a little relieved hearing Naruto's promise. She knew he wasn't perfect, but she also knew that deep down, he was a good person, and she hoped he could find a way to fix things.

Naruto stood up and looked at Hanabi with a soft smile

, trying to ease the tension a bit.

"Thank you for coming here, Hanabi," Naruto said. "I'm glad you told me. If you hadn't confronted me, I wouldn't have known that Hinata was so upset."

Hanabi stood up as well, feeling that her mission was over for the moment.

"I did it for Hinata," Hanabi replied, her tone more relaxed now. "But I hope you do the right thing, Naruto. My sister trusts you, even if she doesn't say it."

Naruto nodded, moved by Hanabi's loyalty to her older sister. It was a reminder of the importance of relationships and how much Hinata meant to her family, something he had overlooked until now.

"I will, Hanabi," Naruto repeated, with a new resolution in his voice. "I'll do everything in my power not to disappoint Hinata or you."

With those words, Hanabi finally allowed a small smile to appear on her face, though she remained cautious.

"I'll be watching you, Naruto," Hanabi said, half-serious and half-joking. "You better keep your promise."

Naruto chuckled softly, relieved by the improvement in the conversation's tone.

"You can count on it, Hanabi," Naruto said, feeling a renewed sense of responsibility.

After the intense conversation with Hanabi, Naruto felt a mix of relief and tension. Although he had promised to visit Hinata the next day, the uncertainty about how that conversation would go kept him nervous. He knew he had to do things right, and part of that involved making sure Hanabi felt more at ease before she left.

Determined to do something nice for everyone, Naruto decided to prepare dinner. He wanted the night to end on a more positive note, especially after everything that had happened. Although cooking wasn't his strong suit, he had learned a few things since he started living with Sasuki. And, in a way, cooking was a way to show his appreciation to both Hanabi and Sasuki for their patience and understanding, although that was a bit relative in Sasuki's case.

Naruto headed to the kitchen and began looking for ingredients to prepare a simple but comforting meal. He knew ramen was his specialty, but he wanted to do something different this time, something that showed a bit more effort.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Hanabi and Sasuki sat in silence for a moment before Sasuki broke the ice.

"So, Hanabi," Sasuki said, with her characteristically neutral but slightly inquisitive tone, "what made you come here to confront Naruto?"

Hanabi, who still felt a bit uncomfortable after the confrontation, looked at Sasuki with a mix of curiosity and respect. Although she wouldn't admit it out loud, Sasuki's presence and beauty had impressed her, making her lower her guard a bit.

"It's because of Hinata-neechan," Hanabi finally replied. "She... she was very sad after the meeting, and I couldn't stand by. I wanted to make sure Naruto understood how much he was hurting her."

Sasuki nodded, understanding Hanabi's words. Although she hadn't been involved in the relationship between Hinata and Naruto, she could understand the young Hyuga's protective impulse towards her sister.

"It's admirable that you care so much about your sister," Sasuki said, her tone now a bit softer. "Not everyone would have the courage to do what you did today."

Hanabi felt a bit embarrassed by the compliment, but also proud of herself.

"Thank you, Sasuki-san," Hanabi said, looking at the Uchiha with a shy smile. "I didn't want to cause trouble, but I couldn't stand by and do nothing."

Sasuki smiled slightly, something she rarely did in the presence of others. There was something in Hanabi's determination that reminded her of herself, which made her feel an instant connection with the young Hyuga.

"You did the right thing," Sasuki replied. "Naruto needs someone to remind him that he's not always aware of how his actions affect others. But he has a good heart, and I know he'll do his best to make things right with Hinata."

As the two spoke, Naruto, from the kitchen, couldn't help but overhear part of the conversation. Although he was focused on chopping vegetables and making sure the food didn't burn, he realized that Sasuki and Hanabi seemed to be getting along well, which, for some reason, caused him slight annoyance.

"Hey, girls, don't talk bad about me behind my back," Naruto joked from the kitchen, trying to keep a light tone. "I'm here working hard to prepare dinner, you know?"

Sasuki threw a quick glance toward the kitchen and responded with a tone that mixed sarcasm and amusement.

"Don't worry, Naruto," Sasuki said with a barely contained smile. "We're just talking about how you'll fix everything you messed up today."

Hanabi laughed at the comment, feeling more relaxed now that the atmosphere had become a bit lighter.

"That's true, Naruto," Hanabi added, with a playful smile. "You better make this dinner incredible if you want to make up for everything you've done."

Naruto snorted, unable to help but smile at the challenge they were throwing at him.

"Alright, alright," he said, with a spark of competitiveness in his voice. "This will be the best dinner you've ever tasted. You can count on that!"

With renewed enthusiasm, Naruto focused on finishing the meal, while Sasuki and Hanabi continued chatting in the living room. Although Sasuki had initially been more reserved, she now seemed to enjoy the young Hyuga's company, making the atmosphere in the house warmer and more welcoming.

After a while, Naruto finally finished preparing dinner. He brought the dishes to the table, satisfied with his work, and called the girls to join him.

"Dinner is ready!" Naruto announced, with a proud smile. "I hope you're hungry!"

Sasuki and Hanabi got up and headed to the table, where they sat next to Naruto. Although the meal was simple, there was an air of celebration in the atmosphere, as if everyone was ready to leave behind the day's tension and enjoy a good meal together.

"Not bad, Naruto," Sasuki said, as she inspected the dish in front of her. "It seems you've improved in the kitchen."

Naruto smiled, feeling flattered.

"Well, I've had to learn a few things since I moved here," Naruto replied. "I don't want to rely only on ramen, you know?"

Hanabi, for her part, tasted the food and nodded in approval.

"It's really good, Naruto," Hanabi said, sincere in her compliment. "Thank you for making this."

Naruto felt satisfied seeing that both were enjoying the food. As they ate, the atmosphere remained relaxed and conversations flowed easily. Despite the tension that had been there at the beginning, the night was ending in a much more positive way than Naruto had anticipated.

After dinner, Naruto decided it was time to prepare a letter for Hiashi Hyuga, informing him of his intention to visit the clan the next day. He wanted to make sure everything was in order and that his visit wouldn't be an unwelcome surprise.

"I have to write a letter to Mr. Hiashi," Naruto said, addressing Sasuki and Hanabi. "I don't want to show up at his house without prior notice."

Sasuki nodded, understanding the importance of courtesy in these matters, especially when it came to someone like Hiashi Hyuga.

"It's a good idea," Sasuki replied. "You should be formal and respectful. You don't want to offend Hiashi-sama."

Naruto nodded, feeling a bit nervous about the task. Although he had improved in many things, etiquette and formality were still a challenge for him.

"Alright, I'll try," Naruto said, taking a scroll and beginning to write the letter.

However, as he wrote, he realized that the words weren't flowing as easily as he had hoped. Every time he tried to compose a formal sentence, he felt clumsy and insecure, which made him stop and reconsider what he was writing.

Sasuki, who had been silently observing, couldn't help but smile at Naruto's obvious struggle with the letter.

"That sounds too informal," Sasuki commented, with a touch of mockery in her voice. "Hiashi-sama might think you're not taking it seriously."

Hanabi, who was also observing, quickly joined in.

"Yes, Naruto, you should start with something like 'Dear Hiashi-sama,'" Hanabi suggested, her tone playful. "You don't want to seem rude, right?"

Naruto snorted, feeling a bit frustrated by the girls' comments.

"Alright, I'll do it again," he said, determined to get it right.

But every time Naruto tried to write the letter, Sasuki and Hanabi found something to criticize or correct. Sometimes it was the sentence structure, other times it was the choice of words. Although both had good intentions, Naruto couldn't help but feel that they were teasing him on purpose.

"Come on, girls!" Naruto exclaimed, a bit exasperated. "You're making me rewrite this over and over again!"

Sasuki shrugged, with an innocent expression.

"We're just trying to help you, Naruto," she said with a barely contained smile. "We want you to get it right."

Hanabi nodded, though she couldn't help but laugh softly.

"Yes, Naruto," Hanabi said, with a mischievous gleam in her eyes. "We just want Hiashi-sama to be impressed."

Naruto, though annoyed, couldn't help but smile at the complicity between Sasuki and Hanabi. Although the two were driving him crazy, he also realized that there was a kind of camaraderie that made the situation more bearable.

Finally, after several attempts and corrections, Naruto managed to write a letter that he considered acceptable. Sasuki and Hanabi also seemed satisfied with the result, which gave him a small sigh of relief.

"Done

," Naruto said, with a triumphant smile. "It's finished! Now I just have to deliver it."

With the letter ready, the night began to come to an end. Naruto offered to accompany Hanabi back to the Hyuga residence, making sure she arrived safe and sound.

"Thank you for everything, Naruto," Hanabi said, as they walked towards the exit. "I feel a bit better after talking to you."

Naruto smiled, feeling closer to Hanabi after everything they had gone through that day.

"You're welcome, Hanabi," Naruto replied. "Thank you for coming here and talking to me. I'll do what I can to make things right with Hinata, I promise."

With those words, Naruto and Hanabi said their goodbyes at the entrance of the Hyuga residence. Although the situation was still delicate, both felt they had taken an important step towards reconciliation.

Back at the Uzumaki-Uchiha residence, Naruto stayed reflecting on everything that had happened. Although the day had been full of surprises and challenges, he felt he had learned something important about his responsibilities, both as the leader of the Uzumaki clan and in his personal relationships.

Meanwhile, Sasuki, who had been observing Naruto throughout the night, also found herself thinking about how he had handled the situation. Although she didn't show it openly, she was beginning to respect him a little more for his willingness to face problems he didn't fully understand. However, she also felt annoyed by the attention Naruto was giving to Hinata, a Hyuga, which fueled the natural rivalry between the clans.

That night, as they prepared for the next day, Naruto and Sasuki, each lost in their own thoughts, realized that the complications in their lives were far from resolved. But, somehow, they were a little more prepared to face them, knowing that they had to trust their own judgment and those around them.
