Godzilla and Rodan were continuing to destroy cities out of whim when suddenly they got sucked through a portal that just opened above them; they were then simply floating through space.
"You think we're ever going to have a justified reason for being rampaging monsters?" Rodan asked upon flapping his wings to gain traction so he could be free to move.
Godzilla fired away his atomic breath to cause friction within the space they were in. "We were always in the right for giving our revenge to the humans; it's just that things change over time."
