Chapter 33: The Wonders of New Loompaland

Author's Note: Hello, everyone! Once again, I realize that I made a long wait time, but one reason was that this chapter became way longer than intended, and will have to be split into two parts. The next demise will be taking place within the next couple of chapters (about 1-3 approximately), and I have everything planned out for it, so take your guesses now! With New Loompaland finally appearing, being given permission by MysteriousMaker1185 several years ago, I give you my word that it will be the New Loompaland that you guys and gals came to know and love. Far from copying Myst, of course, but it WILL be the same New Loompaland that you all left off on. To make up for everything, in addition to this long chapter, reviews WILL be responded to! Let's go, everyone!

Avimo, the next chapter is finally here! I hope it is worth the wait :D

Turrislucidus, glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thank you for the support :D

mattTheWriter072, I'm so glad that you enjoyed the last chapter! I had actually been thinking about an updated version of Sour Stingers resembling that room for a long time now, and finally found a place to implement it. The plane ride was also one of my favorite scenes to write, and in an early draft of that chapter I got so carried away with the restaurant parodies that I was going to show the menu of one of them, referencing Dahl and his various creations, and even have them sit down and eat at one, but those scenes got removed for pacing purposes. XD This chapter is even longer, so I hope it'll be worth the wait!

AnHonestReviewer, hmm, as I said, make your guesses soon... ;)

iLOVEAurora, this is a great suggestion! I have big plans for the updated Sour Dragons room (take this as solid confirmation that it WILL reappear in this story), so I hope they'll meet your expectations when we reach that part of the tour!

Guest #1, thank you so much for reading my story! I'm glad you like it, and I hope you're staying safe during these difficult times across the pond with everything going on. I hope that this chapter will meet your expectations as well. :)

Sonny April, oh, you haven't seen everything yet, just wait. XD I'm glad that you enjoyed my inclusion of your Spotty Powder room design, and you'll find the answer to your question in this chapter. Onwards!

Guest #2, that seems like a good idea. Thank you for the suggestion!

Guest #3, as I said, take your guesses. ;)

Guest #4, another good idea! Thank you!

Guest #5, that is a top-tier pun. XD I'll see if I can include it, or at least have it feature as a cameo on a door or Great Glass Elevator button.

With all reviews responded to, it's finally time to get to the chapter! I hope that you'll enjoy it, and if you like, leave reviews, questions, and comments in the reviews section. Let's go!

(Credits: This chapter is dedicated to MysteriousMaker1185, and New Loompaland and its various setpieces also belongs to him. A dedication can be found at the end of this chapter, if you'd like to read it.)

The grey landing hangar came closer and closer into view, and the group could see two Oompa-Loompas near its doors who looked nearly identical to the ones in the Wonka Airlines airport. They were wearing the brown vintage flying goggles, as well as an old-fashioned pilot uniform. Seeing the group approach, they slid the hangar's doors open, and the planes flew inside. Pulling their levers downwards, everyone's biplanes stopped neatly inside the hangar, and the group unbuckled and exited from them.

Looking around at the hangar, Chris, Jenna and the rest of the group could see that this hangar looked nearly identical to the one which they had first been in, except an enormous metallic, yellow butterfly was resting in it. It had yellow spots on it, and there were seats on it with over-the-shoulder restraints, like the ones found in roller coasters.

"What is that?" Chris asked, and Mr. Wonka and Charlie overheard his remark.

"That is the Butterfly 5.0, my dear boy!" Mr. Wonka announced grandly, and everyone stood around the strange-looking contraption. "It's made of twenty-percent butter, twenty-percent buttercream, twenty-percent butterscotch, twenty-percent raw engineering, and twenty-percent pure imagination."

"How do you make something metallic out of butter and buttercream?" Daniel Sparkman asked, unbelieving.

"Oh, if you have any problems, dial information," Charlie Bucket said with a hint of a smirk on his face. "Thank you for calling."

"Anyways, before we heard that strange mumbling sound," Mr. Wonka continued, "I was gonna say that the reason that the Butterfly 5.0 is a butterfly is because caterpillars, which as you know, the Oompa-Loompas used to eat, eventually turn into butterflies."

"We may eventually go on it later on in the tour," Charlie Bucket said, "but for now, we would like to show you some of the most important parts of New Loompaland. Follow us, everyone!"

Following the two chocolatiers, the party went out of the hangar and noticed that they were now standing on an enormously large tree branch from one of the trees scattered throughout the room. Looking down, they could see that they were thousands of feet up in the air, and Tyler Smith's face turned pale.

"Charlie, why are we so high up?" Jenna Adams asked.

"Remember how the Oompa-Loompas lived in treehouses in their original Loompaland habitat?" Charlie Bucket replied, and Jenna nodded. "This entire room has been specifically designed to mimic Loompaland, but with modern accommodations and other activities. After all, we can't have the Oompa-Loompas working all day, which is why we have rooms like the spas, baths, and New Loompaland as well. New Loompaland is actually where all the Oompa-Loompas live, in fact, since for obvious reasons, we can't have them showing themselves outside of the factory."

"So that's why it's so humid," Mr. Sparkman sighed, wiping his brow.

"Precisely!" Mr. Wonka replied with a smile. "Although, this room does cool down every so often in order to prevent overheating."

"Man, I'd hate to fall down this thing," Mr. Adams said, his face turning pale as he put his hand on his forehead and wiped his brow like Mr. Sparkman before him.

"Fall…down," Tyler Smith said to himself with a smirk, looking at his mother, then at Chris. "I wonder…"

"Hey, Chris," Tyler Smith said innocently, walking up to the boy. "Would you like to see this interesting new candy that I found?"

Chris was suspicious of him, but looked around nonetheless. "Where?" he asked, then as soon as he did, Tyler pushed his arms towards the boy as hard as he could. Chris managed to barely dodge the prank-loving boy, which sent Tyler off-balance and swiveling towards the edge of the tree that they were on.

"Woah-!" Tyler said as he fell towards the edge. Then, suddenly, an invisible force reflected the boy back before he fell off the edge, and the force was so much that he flew through the air and landed on his bottom near the rest of the group. "Oof! Uhh…"

"Thank you for demonstrating New Loompaland's invisible fields, Tyler!" Charlie Bucket said as Tyler rubbed his head. "We added these so that nobody will ever be able to fall off these trees and worry about hurting themselves." After a pause, he announced, "Let's move along!"

Charlie and Mr. Wonka guided the group towards another bridge, which gave everyone another chance to look at their surroundings. That was when Jenna Adams once again noticed the Oompa-Loompas wearing the leaves and deerskins.

"What's with their strange clothing, Mr. Wonka?" Jenna Adams asked, observing the Oompa-Loompas as they continued doing their business on a nearby tree branch, and they all looked at everyone and replied with a wave. Mr. Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Chris, and Jenna waved back, and Mr. Wonka began to explain this strange occurrence.

"Deerskins and leaves are actually the Oompa-Loompas' native clothing," he explained. "These are made of the finest deerskins and plants in the world, and can be fashioned into any style, from ancient to modern."

"If the men wear deerskins, and the women wear uniforms made of leaves," Mr. Davidson asked, "then what do the children wear?"

"Typically, the children would wear nothing at all, but we made a special rule today due to the tour which requires all Oompa-Loompa children to wear clothing," answered Charlie Bucket as some Oompa-Loompa children raced by laughing, their parents panting and running after them. There were five children in total, and two of them were wearing deerskins, and three of them were wearing a coating of leaves around their bodies.

The group was shocked by the sheer size of New Loompaland. It was by far the biggest room which they had visited so far, and the various sights and sounds around them filled them with wonder and awe. They saw colonial-style buildings and a huge bell shaped like a cocoa bean to represent Pennsylvania, and this area was even made complete with Oompa- Loompas wearing clothing mimicking the era, such as blue button jackets, bonnets, and brown boots. Another area resembled New York City, with an Oompa-Loompa-sized replica of Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as large granite buildings with pillars in order to represent Staten Island. Yet another area featured a multitude of banners and buses to represent Chicago, and other buildings appeared to replicate ancient temples. Near the Central Park-esque area was a grassy hill, and on that hill was the New Loompaland sign that Chris saw as they were landing.

"Do you have a Mount Rushmore here, by any chance?" Mr. Adams asked. "Our family visited it one year and we really enjoyed it, so it could be really interesting to see your version."

"We do," Mr. Wonka answered, "but it's somewhere else, and this room is much too big to show you everything in such a short period of time."

"However," answered Charlie, "we do have some statues coming up, so we do hope that you'll enjoy looking at those."

"I wish I could have my own statue," said Tyler Smith. "Everyone focusing on their surroundings instead of me is really boring."

"Remember," Kitsune whispered back to her son. "The key to a successful prank is stealth. We'll find the perfect opportunity to sneak off, don't you worry."

As the group looked around in pure amazement at New Loompaland, Mr. Davidson noticed a dark grey building which resembled an Aztec temple.

"What's that place, Mr. Wonka and Charlie?" he asked his tour guides, and they turned to face him.

"Ah, let us show you!" Mr. Wonka replied. "Follow us, everyone!"

The two of them guided the remaining group members towards the building, and everyone quickly realized that heat was radiating out of it. Out of the temple came several Oompa-Loompas, all of them with the wacky green hair, white overalls, and orange faces that they saw as they were entering via the biplanes.

"Why do those things look like clowns?" Tyler Smith mocked, pointing at the Oompa-Loompas. "Chris would look great with that look!"

Rather than reprimand him, everyone instead decided to ignore the second part of his remark. Everyone, that is, except Chris himself.

"What did you say, Tyler?" he said in a stern voice, readying his legs firmly into the ground.

"I said, you'd look great in those clowns' looks, haha!" Tyler laughed, looking straight at Chris with a smirk on his face. "What a wimp. It was just a joke!...You wanna fight, Goody Two-Shoes?"

"Gladly," Chris said, then Tyler smirked and turned to stare at Daniel, still with a cocky look on his face.

"Wanna join, Mr. Mindy Loverson?" Tyler mocked, and Daniel walked towards the prankster, his face beginning to redden.

"How dare you, Tyler," Daniel snarled. "I've had enough of you trying to ruin this tour."

"Oh no," Jenna muttered, then she ran off while everyone was focusing on the tension that was going on between the trio. Nobody noticed her, and the nervous metalhead snuck off near a tree that was in the direct center of New Loompaland.

It appeared to be a mixture of both ancient and modern architecture, as the base of this tree was coated with shining brown steel. There was a door to serve as an entrance, and Jenna slowly opened it, feeling a tad nervous, and she was greeted by another female Oompa-Loompa, who stared at her wearily.

"You're part of that Golden Ticket group, aren't you?" she asked, and Jenna nodded, afraid that something bad was going to happen. "Well then, where are the others?"

Feeling unable to talk about what happened to Antonio, Yuna, and Mindy prior to this room, she simply replied, They're... somewhere else in here. My friend...Chris, a kid named Tyler Smith, and another named Daniel Sparkman have gotten into a fight, and I began to feel overwhelmed, because they've gotten real close to more than one fight during this tour. I didn't want to snap, then say or do anything impulsive."

"Oh, they are, are they?" the Oompa-Loompa replied. " I'm sure that Mr. Wonka and Charlie will take care of it. Nonetheless, I'm sure you're aware that I will have to report this to them, correct?" she continued, gesturing towards a brown phone in front of her.

"Yes, m'am," Jenna nodded, and the Oompa-Loompa looked at her with approval.

"Excellent," she answered, then looked at her sternly. "You may look around, but please refrain from bothering Jasir, our chief. He's currently doing work, and must not be disturbed."

"Understood, m'am, "Jenna responded, and the Oompa-Loompa looked at her one final time as she went through a door to the left of a large door that she was sitting at.

"Hmm... I wonder, "the Oompa- Loompa said to herself as she went to pick up her phone in order to speak with Mr. Wonka and Charlie.

Meanwhile, while all of this was going on, things were only getting more and more heated between Chris, Tyler, and Daniel. Daniel gestured, "Come here" with his hands and bounced around ready to go, but Chris Davidson immediately took the lunge. This caused Tyler to quickly reach into his backpack and pull out a smoke bomb, which he used to avoid Chris' attack without being caught. Tyler sneered, then Daniel tried going after him as well, only for him to miss due to Tyler rolling on the ground like an athlete, then getting back up as if nothing had happened.

Immediately Mr. Sparkman and Mr. Davidson sprinted into action, grabbing their children and preventing them from doing any further fighting. Kitsune sprung into a similar action as well, then laughed nervously as everyone looked at her and Tyler.

"What do you have to say to everyone?" Charlie Bucket asked, crossing his arms.

"Sorry," Kitsune giggled nervously. "I'm very sorry for what my son did," she continued as she spoke with puppy dog eyes.

"Wait," Chris asked, "Where's Jenna?"

For the first time since the fight began, everyone noticed that Jenna Adams was no longer with them. Before anyone had a chance to panic, however, Mr. Wonka heard a beeping sound coming from the microphone that he was wearing, and he pressed a tiny button that was on it and began speaking into it quietly as if it was a phone. Conversation went on for quite some time, then he eventually turned to Charlie and began speaking to him as well. Once this was done with, he turned to the remaining members of the party and started making an announcement.

"It has been brought to my attention," Mr. Wonka said, "that Jenna is safe and sound. I'll explain more about where she is while we're going there, but for the moment, please follow Charlie and me."

Without hesitation, the group followed the two chocolatiers to their next destination in New Loompaland.

While all of this was going on, Jenna was still exploring the tree that she had walked into. Going through the doorway after talking to the female Oompa- Loompa, the girl noticed several framed pictures hanging on a wall. Each of them had a gold nameplate below them.

The first picture showed what appeared to be the enormous structure in the middle of construction, and two Oompa-Loompas were on it, both of them wearing thick grey gloves and a construction worker's outfit. The nameplate below it said, "CHIEF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION."

"So that's what this thing is called," Jenna said to herself. "The Chief Building. It makes sense considering Jasir lives here."

Glancing at the next picture, Jenna saw those two Oompa-Loompas up close, alongside a third one. One in the middle was wearing a large necklace, like the one worn by Jasir in the present day. The other two were wearing construction outfits, and all three of them were smiling and putting their arms behind each other's backs. The nameplate below this picture said, " IGOR, THEO KEKOA, AND JASIR."

"Who's Theo Kekoa?" Jenna asked. "Was he the original Oompa-Loompa chief? And Igor must be really important to be with Theo so casually like that."

The third picture that Jenna locked at had a finished Chief Building, and a large group was standing in front of it and smiling. The nameplate said, "CHIEF BUILDING, FINISHED", and the group in question consisted of five elderly people- three males and two females, alongside Mr. Wonka, Charlie (who looked as if he was a teenager), Charlie's parents, and Igor, Theo Kekoa, and Jasir. The shining plaque to the left of this photograph said, "SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL OF THE OOMPA-LOOMPAS WHO HELPED MAKE NEW LOOMPALAND OUR FOREVER HOME", and had hundreds of names written on it, including Igor and Jasir. Here were some other names that Jenna noticed as she was glancing through the list:

HANNAH BECKER

BELLA FARINA

ALBERT FOULBODY

KOHARU HAMAMOTO

MEI HAMAMOTO

KEVIN JONES

LOGAN JONES

ERIC LEE

SAMANTHA LEE

TERESA LEE

HECTOR RAMIREZ

After viewing the pictures one last time, Jenna continued down the hallway of the Chief Building. She went past various doors, all of them closed, until she reached the end of it. To the left of her was another door, and to the right of her was an elevator leading to higher levels of the Chief Building.

Unlike the other doors, this one was unlocked, which filled Jenna with curiosity. A gold nameplate on it said, "GRANDPA JOE'S BEDROOM", and she slowly walked inside. The bedroom looked untouched yet clean at the same time, and it was simple yet grand. A bed laid at one end of the room, and a nightstand was next to it, which featured a lamp with a cocoa bean-shaped lampshade. A dresser was also present, and on it, Jenna noticed various pictures of Charlie's family. The atmosphere in the room was noticeably solemn, and Jenna went over and sat down on the bed.

She sat down for several minutes, processing everything which had happened during the tour up to this point. As she let her mind slip into reminiscence, she noticed the bedroom beginning to blur, and Jenna suddenly began to feel as if she wasn't sitting on anything at all.

As everything began to go back into focus, Jenna looked around and saw that she was no longer inside the Chief Building at all.

She noticed several Oompa- Loompas walking around, and the environment felt familiar to her, yet different at the same time. Jenna was surrounded by various trees and foliage, and the place in question looked extraordinarily similar to New Loompaland. She began to walk forward, when a merry-sounding elderly voice made her stop in her tracks.

"So, Jenna! We finally meet!"

She turned around, only to receive the shock of her life. It was Charlie's Grandpa Joe, and he had a kind smile on his face as he observed Jenna's reaction. The girl was unsure what to think, as she was still processing what was going on.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, my dear girl," Grandpa Joe smiled. Nervously she took his hand and looked up at him. "I'm sure you're wondering what's going on, right?"

"Yes, sir," Jenna Adams replied, and Grandpa Joe began taking her on a stroll in the room in which she found herself.

"One could say you're in the past," Grandpa Joe said. "The ghosts of the past, if I do say so myself."

Grandpa Joe continued walking, and Jenna used this opportunity to observe her environment more. Piles of wood and steel girders could be seen, and Oompa- Loompas were carrying from these piles and setting them down at various places, and Oompa- Loompas with construction worker's outfits would weld or nail them together depending on the material. In particular, Jenna noticed three Oompa-Loompas near a particularly large tree, and they were smiling and emitting peals of laughter.

Is that...the Chief Building?" Jenna asked in confusion, pointing at the tree where the three Oompa-Loompas were at.

"You know it," Grandpa Joe said with a kind expression. "Let's go meet the chief, shall we?"

Still in a mixture of shock and confusion, Grandpa Joe guided Jenna towards the three Oompa- Loompas. They looked in his direction and immediately stopped talking in a sign of respect.

"Hello, Grandpa Joe!" one of them said. "Now who do we have here?"

Observing the Oompa-Loompa closely, Jenna saw that he looked almost identical, if not exactly, to the picture of Theo Kekea, even down to the large necklace. Not only that, one of the Oompa- Loompas resembled Jasir, and the third resembled Igor. Igor had blond hair, as well as a cheerful, smiling demeanor. This contrasted with Jasir's black hair, and the two of them appeared to be closely knit. Theo was in between the two of them, and all three of them were smiling at Grandpa Joe and Jenna.

"This is Jenna Adams," Grandpa Joe told them. "She's on a tour of Charlie's chocolate factory. Charlie and Mr. Wonka are trying to find an heir, just like what Mr. Wonka did all those years ago!"

"An heir, eh?" Theo Kekoa smiled, appearing to be lost in thought. "Brings back memories, that word does! I wish you luck, my dear girl!"

"Thanks," Jenna smiled. She looked at the trio of Oompa- Loompas, and Jasir spoke up.

"I can tell you're wondering," Jasir said, "how me and Igor are here with Grandpa Joe and Theo. The truth is, while you were in Grandpa Joe's bedroom, Grandpa Joe's spirit put you inside of his subconscious in order to view this memory of times long past. The future is in no way affected by our conversations going on."

So you three knew who I was all this time?" Jenna said curiously. "Then why did you ask?"

"One has to appear natural now, don't they?" Jasir smiled. "Now, do you have any questions for us, Jenna?"

"Well," Jenna Adams thought, "I guess I'm curious how you three got so close."

The three of them looked at each other and smiled, then looked back at Jenna and Grandpa Joe.

"For me and Jasir," Theo Keko explained, " the explanation is rather simple. Jasir was my assistant while we were back in Loompaland before Mr. Wonka found us. For Igor, it began after we were transported safely to Mr. Wonka's factory. One day, he approached us, as well as Charlie and Mr. Wonka, and said, 'I have a great idea! Some of the older Oompa-Loompas, while admitting that while they feel safe and happy, they also said they feel a bit homesick. So, why not make a recreation of Loompaland in the factory? We can call it... New Loompaland!' Immediately, the two of them thought that it was a great idea, and this prompted Igor to get straight to work."

"I," continued Igor, "included a ceremonial volcano, which we used at the other side of the natural Loompaland for cocoa bean rituals, and called it the Vivacious Volcano. I also made sure that the blueprints included various museums, with artifacts about our culture. The walls of New Loompaland are actually made of solid chocolate so thick that it can't be pierced by a jackhammer. As of right now, though, New Loompaland is still under construction, in here at least. " He paused with a chuckle in order to give Jenna time to process the things which she had just been told.

"That's amazing," Jenna gasped.

"Would you like a tour," Grandpa Joe said with a smile, "with Igor and Grandpa Joe Tours, Incorporated?"

"Boy, would I!" Jenna smiled, and with a hop, skip, and a jump, the three of them rushed off to begin their supernatural tour of New Loompaland.

Back in the present time, Mr. Wonka, Charlie Bucket, and the rest of the group were still on their way to the hallowed Chief Building. Contrary to the route that Jenna went, Mr. Wonka and Charlie took Tyler, Daniel, Chris, and their parents, alongside Mr. Adams, through some bits of shrubbery, which everyone quickly noticed led to a hidden, rocky path.

"As I was saying back there," Mr. Wonka said, "that building is actually a tanning salon for the Oompa-Loompas to hang out in. Orange and green is currently the newest trend. Pretty neat, huh?"

"I could have sworn that I've seen characters that look like them in a movie with someone named Johnny," Mr. Adams remarked. "Or was it Gene?"

"Your guess is as good as mine, my dear sir," Mr. Wonka replied. "Now, we're approaching what we consider to be sacred ground, so no tricks, trouble, or dirty treats, understood?"

He looked most specifically at Tyler Smith, and the boy and his mother made no response. With a nod from the members, the group continued walking, and they met up with an Oompa-Loompa who had his head down solemnly. As the group approached him, he looked up from his thoughts and began to speak. The Oompa-Loompa looked identical to the Igor Oompa-Loompa that Jenna was speaking with- in fact, he was one and the same.

"Hello, everyone," the Oompa-Loompa said as he introduced himself. "The name's Igor, and I was just paying my daily respects to our fallen friends. I was the one who actually came up with the concept of New Loompaland, and Grandpa Joe was a wonderful help during the journey. Everyone was, and I miss them dearly. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go meet up with Barry B. Lou elsewhere to help him with one of his entertainment shows that he'll be putting on soon. I really do hope that you'll be able to join us. See you soon, everyone."

With a solemn bow, Igor continued on his way, walking past them and towards the main sections of New Loompaland. Everyone else continued towards where Mr. Wonka and Charlie were leading them, and they soon came across an area that looked similar to the Wonka-Vite and Vita-Wonk Room where Yuna and her mother had met their demise. There were various old-fashioned pagodas spread throughout, alongside pink trees that resembled cherry blossoms.

"These cherry blossoms are actually made of cotton candy," Charlie smiled. "Go ahead, try some."

Chris walked towards the tree and took some of the pink cotton candy off the tree. Placing it in his mouth, he closed his eyes as he felt it dissolve almost instantaneously in a sweet sensation that sent shivers down his spine.

"That's…the best cotton candy I've ever tasted," Chris said in awe, unable to find any other words to describe what he had just tasted.

"We're glad to hear that," Mr. Wonka grinned. "Let's continue on now, shall we?"

After walking for several minutes, the group approached a glass bridge that went across an extremely wide canyon. It was decorated with vines, leaves, and what looked like various insects such as caterpillars, wasps, and other creatures were flying around it and crawling on its underside.

"Ah, our Imaginary Insects," Charlie Bucket smiled, as he and Mr. Wonka were already a third of the way across. "Being as cute and beautiful as ever, I see. You'll learn more about them later, but for now, why not come join me and Mr. Wonka, eh?"

The party stared at it uneasily, but soon learned that the best course of action was to continue going where the two chocolatiers were going. They looked down, and the canyon itself was filled with liquid chocolate, which caused the smell of it to waft everywhere. Tyler Smith began to wobble and become giddy, but the group made it all the way across about five minutes later.

The smell of liquid chocolate stayed constant despite the fact that they were walking away from the canyon, and the group soon found out why. In the distance was a large dark brown volcano, and grey smoke which smelled like chocolate was coming out of it. Once they became nearer to it, the two chocolatiers gave the party an explanation.

"This is the Vivacious Volcano," Mr. Wonka explained, "and it's used for Oompa-Loompa religious ceremonies, specifically for their favorite food, the cocoa bean, just as they did in the original Loompaland. Since this is considered a sacred place, we can't go inside, but you can view through the window, everyone. Go on, take a look!"

Everyone crowded around the windows of the Vivacious Volcano in order to take a peep at what was inside. They could see Oompa-Loompas wearing green grass skirts and waving around various instruments while dancing as they stood around a large brown cocoa bean. The ceremonial area was fully hollow, and lights kept the area with a warm red and yellow glow as smoke rose up from a huge bonfire that they were participating in.

"Pretty neat, huh?" Mr. Wonka remarked. "When I arrived in Loompaland back then, the Oompa-Loompas actually guided me through one of these ceremonies. Cocoa beans are not only the currency of the Oompa-Loompas, as the beans are their favorite food, but also of the entire factory, including Charlie and myself. As we mustn't disturb the ceremony going on, we should be going to our next destination as soon as possible. You'll just love it, I know you will."

Back in the Chief Building, Jenna Adams was still inside the subconscious of Grandpa Joe, and as such, still walking around inside past memories with him and Theo Kekoa, alongside the past figment of Igor and Jasir. Jenna was holding Grandpa Joe's hand as he was guiding him to someplace, and Theo Kekoa, Igor, and Jasir were following right behind.

"I miss my boy," Grandpa Joe said, a hint of sadness in his voice. "But I know that he and Mr. Wonka are handling the factory just fine."

"How close were you and Charlie, Grandpa Joe?" Jenna asked, and this caused him to turn to the girl with a sad yet nostalgic-ridden smile.

"As close as can be, my dear girl," Grandpa Joe answered. "He was what kept me going during my bad days. When I felt down, I had no doubt that Charlie's smile would brighten my day back up again." He sighed. "You and Chris remind me of him, you know? Always spend time with the ones you love, and never take them for granted, Jenna. You never know when they'll be gone. They might be here one day, then gone the next."

Grandpa Joe's wisdom astounded the little girl, and he guided the group towards a metal foundation that resembled the shape of a volcano. It was almost life-size, and several Oompa-Loompas could be seen welding, nailing, and sawing nearby. An elderly woman could be seen with her back turned, and as she heard everyone approaching, she reared her head and smiled warmly at the group.

"Hello, Joe!" the elderly woman said, giving Grandpa Joe a kiss.

"Hello, darling," Grandpa Joe responded, and he looked down at Jenna. "Jenna, meet Josephine, my wife."

"H-hello, m'am," Jenna responded nervously, and Grandma Josephine looked down at Jenna with a smile.

"Just checking up on the Vivacious Volcano, darling," Grandma Josephine said to her husband. "All's good here, it seems."

"That's great," Grandpa Joe smiled, and some other people could be seen walking towards Grandma Josephine and the rest of the supernatural party, alongside Jenna Adams and the illusional Igor and Jasir. However, Jenna Adams was too lost in thought to notice. She couldn't help but get Grandpa Joe's advice out of her mind.

"Always spend time with the ones you love, and never take them for granted, Jenna. You never know when they'll be gone. They might be here one day, then gone the next."

Author's Note: That's the chapter! What did you think, everyone? Its length and scope was one reason why it took so long, but it finally made it! I hope it was worth the wait, and be sure to tell me your favorite parts in the reviews section! As stated above, New Loompaland belongs to MysteriousMaker1185, and I did all I could to make it the same New Loompaland that you all saw several years ago in A Box of Chocolates while also not being derivative, and I hope it paid off. For explanations, the Oompa-Loompa Igor first appeared as a persona of MysteriousMaker1185 in Charlie's Chocolatey Adventure, and him being the creator of New Loompaland in this is a reference to him as a person creating New Loompaland for A Box of Chocolates. The various Oompa-Loompa names on the plaque were all scrapped names for characters in A Box of Chocolates, except Albert Foulbody, which was a subtle reference to him considering a Golden Ticket winner related to Professor Foulbody.

Below is a dedication to MysteriousMaker1185, if you'd like to read it, and I'll see you guys in the next chapter!

Dear MysteriousMaker1185:

If you're reading this, I hope that you enjoyed my depiction of New Loompaland in this chapter, as well as my various depictions of your other ideas for this story. I can't stress enough how much you're loved in this community, and if you ever do decide to return one day (no pressure!), you'll be welcomed with open arms. You've made such an impact on this community over the years that not even this single dedication can summarize it. From ideas to various rooms to characters, you helped to make the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fandom what it is today, and for that, we the community can only thank you for all you've provided over the years. I hope that you're doing well, that you're safe, and that we will get to talk to you again. I tried to make this chapter include everything that in my opinion was so amazing about your stories, all wrapped up in my own version of a tribute, and I hope that it paid off.

This chapter is for you, man.

Until then,

Gabe S. :)
