Chapter 14: Something Fishy (part 2)

[Elliot grabs a glass of water and slowly walks out of the kitchen into their living room, where Emma is on the couch reading a magazine. He gets closer and closer, when suddenly she looks behind her as she turns the pages and sees him with the water.]

"You were gonna pour water on her?!" Ash asks shocked, unsure as to why he cared so much. "Not on my furniture you aren't!" Lisa yells, Neil looking at her questionably. "Well, I don't want them to get ruined."

"Why not do it when the whole family is around?" Lewis asks. "Again, not helping," Emma glares at him as he quiets down.

Emma: "Hey, what ya doing?"

Elliot: looks at water. "Umm, nothing. What are you doing?"

Emma: goes back to reading. "Just reading."

Elliot: "Can I offer you some water?" He shoves the glass closer to her and she leans away from it and looks at him.

"Well, that's not suspicious at all," Charlotte mutters.

Emma: laughs. "No thanks."

Elliot: shrugs and drinks some of it as she sits up straight. "I'm happy to share."

"Ew," Charlotte says, grossed out. "We're siblings," Elliot says. "That's still gross. And I don't even like sharing a bathroom with Cleo," Kim points out. "Likewise," Cleo says.

Emma: goes back to reading. "I'm not thirsty."

Elliot: "In fact, I share everything with you. Because you're my sister." Emma looks at him. "And all I get in return is secrets and lies."

Emma: shakes her head. "What lies?"

Elliot: shoves glass closer to her and she leans back again. "Why didn't you tell me you were a mermaid?"

"Way to set it straight," Zane says.

"You could've been honest with me then, and it would've ended better than the pageant incident," Elliot leans over, whispering to her. "I'm sorry Elliot. You're right. I should have been honest," she whispers back.

"Again, glad I'm an only child," Rikki states at which Terry chuckles.

Emma: staring at the glass, she scoffs nervously. "Why would you think I was a mermaid?"

"How did you get out of that situation?" Will asks. "I basically lied to him," Emma admits. "You did lie."

[Inside Cleo's bedroom, Emma berates Cleo about the diary. Cleo is sitting down on her bed, fiddling with some clothes laying on it as Emma walks into the open door.]

Emma: "Are you crazy? You wrote a diary?"

Cleo: shrugs. "Just a little one."

Emma: leans forward over the bed and Cleo's shoulder, arms crossed. "With every little detail about our mermaidness."

"That was not a little," Emma says.

"Why didn't I just listen to that conversation the second I saw you walk in the door?" Kim complains, causing Emma and Cleo to laugh a little.

Cleo: "I'd never let anyone see it." She gets up and opens her drawer, moving all her clothes around as Emma watches her behind Cleo's back. She closes the drawer and turns around, looking worried. "It's gone." Emma narrows her eyes.

"If it wasn't gone, Emma wouldn't have been scolding you about it," Rikki sighs, slapping her forehead.

"It was in an obvious spot," Kim says. "It was in my drawer!" "Yeah, obvious!" Kim yells back. "This is going to go on forever, isn't it?" Sam asks Bev, who nods in annoyance.

[At the Juicenet, the girls sit at their usual booth with Emma sitting across from the other two.]

Cleo: "Found the diary. It was under Kim's pillow."

"Another obvious spot," Rikki states.

"You went through my room?!" Kim yells shocked. "Payback."

[Emma looks at the beaded curtains, where Kim and Elliot enter, the latter holding a bag.]

Emma: "Look who's here."

Cleo: "I'm going to maim her."

"You see? That's what would make people think your evil," Kim says, grinning. "That is what you call overexaggerating Kim," Cleo says, rolling her eyes.

Emma: raises her hands off the table a little. "Just ignore them."

[They shift uncomfortably in their booth as they watch the two kids sit down at a table near Miriam and Tiffany.]

Kim: "They're all here. Did you bring the gear?" Elliot pulls a huge red water gun out of the bag and they smile at it as he puts it back.

"They're still your sisters!" Sam says, shocked that they were still trying to go through with it. "We were overrun with fear and we were kids!" Kim yells. "You still are kids," Harrison states. Cleo winces again, hearing Kim say how she feared it once again, just kept hitting her in the gut. How was she handling this differently now?

Emma: looks back at her friends. "They're never going to let this go."

Rikki: "Then we've got to do something about it." Glares at the younger ones.

"And what would that be?" asks Max curiously. "Misleading them," Emma smirks.

Emma: looks over at Lewis who is on the computer at the bar with his glasses on. "Um, Lewis." She pats the seat next to her and he joins them.

"What were you doing?" Charlotte asks. "Research on Makoand mermaids," Lewis shrugs.

Kim: "Wait." She puts her hand up to stop Elliot from grabbing the water gun. "Lewis is one of them too."

The audience laughs at the thought of Lewis being one of them. "You really thought he was one of them?" Zane asks in-between laughter, imagining his nerdy friend being a merman. "Unfortunately," Elliot winces, making the audience laugh even more. "He doesn't seem like the merman type," Bella says, chuckling. Lewis reddens with embarrassment.

"I should've thought about that more. It wasn't even in the diary!" Kim says, scolding herself.

Elliot: "I can't see Lewis as a mermaid."

They roar with laughter once more. It was now Elliot's turn to be embarrassed. "Me either," Rikki says, wiping the tears out of her eyes.

Kim: sighs. "No you dork. He'd be a merman, like a boy mermaid. Just sit tight."

Lewis: looks at them then back to the girls. "How much do they know?"

"They filled you in real quick," Ash says, impressed.

Rikki: "Pretty much everything." Cleo sighs.

[At Miriam's table, close to Kim and Elliot's, Tiffany strikes up a conversation.]

Tiffany: "You want to hear something hilarious?"

Miriam: looks up at her and nods. "Mm hmm."

Tiffany: "Cleo entered Miss Sea Queen." They look over at the booth.

"You still went through with it, after everything that was going on?" Zane asks. "Yep."

Miriam: "Imagine trying to pull a costume together overnight."

Tiffany: "So that's what they're stressing about."

"That must've been tough," Annette says. "It was, but it was worth it just to see the look on Miriam's face," Cleo smirks.

"It sure is," Rikki says, rolling her eyes.

Lewis: whispers. "Our best idea, we need to put them off the scent." Points down at the table. "Get them thinking that the diary's about someone else."

Cleo: "Like who?"

Kim looks over at them, confused. What did they do?

[They look over at Miriam, who is still at their table. Lewis gets up as they smile and follow his lead. They walk over to Miriam's table.]

Lewis: "Hey Miriam."

Kim: "More of them? This is bigger than I thought."

Kim gasps, then buries her head into her knees and groans, causing Cleo to silently laugh to herself. "I can't believe I fell for that!"

Miriam: they surround her. "Why are you talking to me? You never talk to me."

"Not true. I did at the pool party," Lewis says, correcting the on-screen Miriam. "And look where it got you at," Emma sighs.

Cleo: "That's silly Miriam. We like you."

"That was the worst thing I have ever said," Cleo shivers, disgusted by it.

Miriam: crosses her arms. "Don't think I don't know you've entered the contest Cleo. I know everything." Kim and Elliot glance at one another while Emma and Rikki fake a look of total shock.

"Couldn't have been more perfect," Rikki grins as she sees the looks Kim and Elliot send each other.

Cleo: "You do?"

Emma: "Oh ok." She smiles and shoves Cleo away from them and out the door.

Rikki: "Good." She follows them.

"More terrible acting!" Kim points out. "Yet you still believed it," Cleo smiles.

Kim: "It's a whole coven of mermaid creatures. We can't fight them here."

"Fight us? With water guns?" Rikki scoffs. "Yeah, not our best plan," Elliot winces.

[Lewis walks over to the computer when the other three left and closes out the browser that he was on about mermaid mythology. He turns to look at them, then walks out.]

Miriam: shakes head. "That Cleo, she's got something up her sleeve. I'm not sure what." She looks at the computer and they get up to look at the search history, bending down to look at the computer. "Mermaids."

Tiffany: gasps. "You're idea's way better." They stand up straight.

Miriam: "Shut up Tiffany. Come on." They walk out of the café.

"What was her idea?" Bev asks. "Who knows, but apparently it couldn't beat mermaids," Emma says.

"Again, why are they friends? She's so mean," Will says.

Kim: they get up to look at the website and she smiles. "Of course. It all makes sense now. Miriam's the leader."

"How does that make any sense?" Ash asks, trying to figure it out.

"She's not a leader, she's just a bully," Cleo says. "At least the plan worked perfectly," Lewis says. "We didn't even talk about a plan," Rikki says. "Yes, but you went along with it perfectly," Lewis smiles, giving them a thumbs up.

Elliot: "You think so?"

Kim: looks at him then back at the computer. "Miriam's always the leader."

"Just like you," Elliot says. "Me?" Kim questions, confused. "You led me into believing they were mermaids," Elliot explains. "But they were!" Kim waves to the screen. "Still led me," he shrugs.

"Did you even know where your kids were?" Terry asks curiously. "At this point, I'm just glad they didn't do anything illegal," Don says, Neil nodding along in agreement.

[At the docks, the girls climb into a small watchtower filled with supplies as they peak out the door, watching Kim and Elliot hide behind some barrels, who happens to be watching Miriam and Tiffany, who walk onto the docks.]

"You were there?!" Kim asks in shock. "We knew you'd be following her," Emma explains. "Well, that explains the steam," Elliot says, confusing the others.

Miriam: "I need to put a costume together overnight. It's big, but I can do it." Tiffany nods.

"Hypocrite," Cleo mutters.

Miriam: taps a fisherman on the shoulder and starts acting sweet. "Hey, how are you doing? Um, I was just wondering –."

"Oh, so now she wants to act nice," Rikki says, rolling her eyes.

Kim: "She's putting him under her spell."

They burst out laughing once more, Kim flushing red with embarrassment. "Spells? No, we can't do that," Emma giggles. "Just wishes, apparently," Lewis whispers, giving a look to Cleo, who lowers herself in her seat.

[The fisherman grabs some lures out of his bait box and gives them to Miriam and goes back to fishing.]

Miriam: "Ooh, these would go great with my new outfit."

Tiffany: "What are they?"

Miriam: holds them up to her ears. "Accessories."

"That's a little weird," Bella says. "More like crazy," Rikki laughs.

[She laughs, but then notices Kim and Elliot hiding, watching them, and stops. She walks over to them as they cower behind the barrels.]

"Don't mess with the queen bee," Zane sarcastically says. "More like queen of the sea," Cleo mutters, making the other two laugh.

Miriam: leans over the barrel, looking at them. "You're Cleo's little sister, aren't you?" Kim nods slightly, looking terrified. "I know what you're up to. You are not getting my secret. So stop spying on me or you'll get it. Understand?" She sighs and leaves as Kim and Elliot look at each other.

"That could not have been more perfectly timed," Lewis chuckles, glad that it made the plan more perfect. "She really set herself up there."

Lisa looks on in shock, a little angry that she was threatening her son and his friend. She really has changed so much.

Tiffany: "Wow Miriam, you can be really scary."

Miriam: "It's a pageant Tiffany. You can't take prisoners."

[Elliot and Kim run to a nearby truck to get a closer look.]

"Pageants are not that serious," Bella scoffs. "To them, it is," Zane sighs.

Emma: turns to the other two. "If we're going to make this work, we gotta make it look like Miriam's the one with the powers." They look back down at her.

"But how?" Neil asks. "Watch," Emma says.

Miriam: they walk further onto the docks, past the watchtower where the girls are hiding. "Yeah, well anyways if we can get the show –."

Emma: turns back to them, smiling. "Ready."

Rikki: "Please, allow me." She smiles and gets near an open window, the other two watching behind her.

Miriam: "Now, I normally wear pink. But I thought this time I'd go with a sort of blue color. And you could be a sea urchin. And it could be gold."

"A sea urchin? She can't be serious?!" Will scoffs, mind blown.

[Rikki raises her hand and clenches it into a fist, causing a little steam to rise from a leaking water hose on the docks. Miriam and Tiffany walk over the water hose as Kim and Elliot watch. The steam increases and soon disappears, making Miriam and Tiffany look like they vanished.]

Kim: smirks at Elliot. "Now do you believe me?" They leave as the girls' smile, watching them go.

"Oh, so that's what happened," Kim realizes. "Clever," Max smiles.

[Kim and Elliot are in the bleachers at the marine park, carrying book bags on their backs, and sit down.]

Kim: "Tomorrow Miriam and my freak sister are both going to be in the Miss Sea Queen Pageant here at the marine park. Perfect time to expose them."

Cleo rubs her arms, hating to hear that word again. Kim glances at her and sees how uncomfortable she feels, making her feel bad.

[Kim opens her book bag and pulls out a folded map of the marine park. She puts her bag down on the ground.]

Kim: "We'll bring down the leader. They'll follow." She opens the map.

"Uh, not true. I don't go down without a fight," Rikki states. "What about when we were captured?" Emma whispers. Rikki glances at Cleo and Lewis, making sure they weren't listening before whispering back to her. "Lewis was being held hostage then. As much as I hate to admit it, he is a friend. And I don't want friends to get hurt." "Aw, you really do care," Emma teases, causing her to get a light punch to the arm.

Elliot: "I'm scared." Looks down.

Kim: "That's exactly what they want Elliot."

"No, it's not. I don't want to scare my own brother," Emma says, narrowing her eyes in anger. "I wasn't scared of you. I was scared of the plan, I didn't want to go through with it then," Elliot explains, surprising Emma. "Then why did you do it?" Lisa asks. "Because of Kim," making the girl in mention feel bad for making him.

Kim: "Now listen carefully." They look at the paper and she points to various spots on the map.

"You will be here, next to this firehose backstage. I'll be here, directly behind the stage. On my signal, you will turn on the firehose and angle it over this wall. The water will hit the stage turning Miriam and Cleo into mermaids and us into heroes." She smiles and looks at him. "Any questions?"

"That's not a bad plan, but you forgot one thing," Zane says. "And that is?" Kim asks. "Their powers. It can protect them." "I hate saying it, but he's right," Emma says.

Elliot: shakes head. "No."

Kim: "You have to be brave Elliot."

Elliot: sighs. "I know. I know."

Kim: "Remember, the only one's with anything to fear are the mermaids." They look back at the map.

"Not really, it was pretty funny to me," Rikki admits.

[The next day at the marine park, the pageant takes place on a stage. The crowd, including Rikki, Emma, Don, and Bev, is sitting in front of the stage, clapping for the contestants that consist of people dressed as different sea creatures: a dolphin, turtle, lobster, and Tiffany, who happens to be a sea urchin. After the cheering dies down, they wait for Mrs. Geddes to announce the next one to come out on stage from behind the curtains.]

Mrs. Geddes: holding up the microphone, she announces the next person. "Next up we have Libby Macintyre as a starfish." The crowd claps as Libby comes out on stage in a pink starfish costume. "Oh Libby, this reminds me of a wonderful costume that I made when I was –."

Rikki: looks around with a weird look when the crowd quits clapping. "Who are these people?"

"Parents of the contestants?" Annette guesses as if it were obvious. Rikki shrugs, still not caring.

Emma: looks at her irritated. "Rikki, at least pretend you're having fun."

Rikki: "But I'm not."

"Well at least she's honest," Harrison says. "Thank you."

"A sleepover and now a pageant? How do you do it?" Terry asks in shock. "You're a miracle worker!"

Mrs. Geddes: "And what a beautiful starfish she is." Libby spins around.

"It is pretty," Bella admits.

"Could you make one like that?" Cleo asks, turning to her mom. "Maybe," Bev says, not sure.

[Kim and Elliot grab the fence, running behind the stage area while checking to see if the coast is clear as they make it to the back entrance of the stage, next to the firehose.]

Kim: "On my mark." Elliot nods and stays by the hose as she opens the door backstage and goes inside. Elliot gets the firehose ready and Kim ducks behind the stage.]

"This isn't going to end well," Will says, worried. "You're right, for them," Rikki points to Kim and Elliot, who lowers themselves further into their seats. "More like for Miriam," Cleo giggles.

Mrs. Geddes: "Thank you Libby." The crowd claps again as she steps to the side. "Now our next jewel of the sea is Cleo Sertori." The crowd once again claps, including Emma and Rikki as she comes out in a mixed purple and blue jellyfish costume, with party streamers running off her big hat. The crowd goes silent as they try figuring out what she is. Cleo spins.

"What, is that?" Ash asks, staring at it strangely. "It's a jellyfish!" Cleo shouts, not understanding how no one could see it.

"I think it looks nice. Looks like one," Charlotte admits, surprising the brunette. Looking at Cleo jaw-dropped, she looks confused. "I already said that I like art, and that includes designs. It looks good." "Thanks?" Cleo says, not sure as to what else to say, making Charlotte chuckle.

Mrs. Geddes: "Um. And uh Cleo has uh chosen to come dressed as a um –."

Don: whispers to Bev. "What is she?" She shrugs.

"But you helped!" Cleo exclaims. "Yes, but you never told me what it is," Bev says.

Mrs. Geddes: comes closer, moving the strings aside for the mic to get closer. "Give us a hint."

Cleo: "I'm a Portuguese Man of War." She smiles, but the crowd stays confused. Don raises his hands up as if he gets it.

Mrs. Geddes: "Uh."

Cleo: "It's a jellyfish."

Mrs. Geddes: "Oh." Crowd claps.

"She runs the marine park, yet has no idea what it is?" Denman asks, a little disappointed in the woman.

[Kim looks back at Elliot before looking back to the stage.]

Mrs. Geddes: "Last, but by no means the least, please give a very warm welcome to Miriam Kent." The crowd claps once more, Rikki and Emma looking like they were forced to, as the security guard rolls Miriam out onto the stage in a decorated seashell as Miriam waves to the crowd in a designed, but clearly fake blue tail. With it, she is wearing a blue long-sleeved seashell top with a blue crown. She smiles at them as she waves. "Oh, Miriam's a mermaid."

"That looks beautiful but hideous at the same time," Annette says, not sure which emotion to feel about it.

"It's nowhere near the realistic version," Will smiles.

"Can't believe I thought that was real," Kim sighs. "I must have really been out of my mind."

Rikki: looks at the popcorn bucket in her hand, disgusted. "I might need this to vomit in."

They chuckle at her joke. "Don't blame you," Zane says. "It seemed kind of offensive coming from a mermaid," Rikki explains.

Miriam: quits waving as she looks at Cleo, her smile faltering as she sees Cleo smile and in a completely different costume than she assumed. "You were supposed to be a mermaid."

Cleo: "No I wasn't."

Two birds with one stone, Lewis grins.

Mrs. Geddes: "Miriam you look absolutely beautiful. Tell me, did you make this yourself?"

Miriam: "All the sequins and beading are handmade."

Mrs. Geddes: "They're all handmade. Isn't that wonderful?" The crowd claps and Miriam slowly begins waving again.

"There's no way she did that in one night," Ash complains. "Oh please, she probably paid someone to do it," Zane scoffs.

Mrs. Geddes: "And that's all our contestants."

Kim: turns to yell at Elliot. "Go Elliot, now." He turns the hose on, aiming it above the stage.

Mrs. Geddes: "Now the judges have to pick the winner, which they'll do very, very soon. So hold tight everyone." Cleo looks over and sees the water starting to come down. Quickly, she twists her hand, and using her powers, the water divides above her head, and the water sprays on everyone else. The crowd is shocked at seeing everyone getting soaked, screaming on stage, except for Cleo who acts normally, as if the hat was protecting her. A guard runs backstage to stop it. Rikki and Emma smile in relief, seeing that Cleo is alright. Elliot cuts the water off as Kim jumps on stage. Cleo winces as she sees that all the contestants' makeup is running everywhere.

They laugh as they watch the scene unfold. The laughter continues for several minutes as they watch the horrified faces of the contestants, although knows that most of them did not deserve it. "Now that's funny," Emma chuckles, glad that she gets to see it for a second time.

"Should've had a backup plan," Kim sighs. "Remember this Kim, always stay one step ahead," Lewis smiles.

Kim: grabs the mic from Mrs. Geddes' hand. "I knew it. There are mermaids on the Gold Coast." Cleo rolls her eyes while the crowd laughs. She points at Miriam who is confused as to why she is a part of this, pushing her crown back upon her head. "And she is their evil leader." Bev tries to jump up to stop her, but Don puts a hand in front of her as if saying to hold on. She points at Cleo too. "My sister is one of them too." Cleo feels embarrassed as the crowd laughs some more. Emma and Rikki look at each other.

"You should've let me stop her," Bev glares, whispering to Don. "She was already made a fool out of enough. You jumping up there would've made it worse," Don whispers back harshly.

"Again, wish I could've been there," Zane laughs.

[The guard brings Elliot out on stage. Bev crosses her arms; Don puts his hand over his mouth at seeing the young boy.]

Elliot: points to Kim. "She made me do it."

"Just throw me up under the bus, why don't ya?" Kim mutters.

Kim: back to the crowd. "They're evil and dangerous. Look." She hands the mic back to Mrs. Geddes and bends down next to the seashell and starts ripping Miriam's tail.

"What made you think we were evil in the first place?" Cleo says, not able to hold the question any longer. Kim shifts uncomfortably, not looking her way. "I guess the powers. Because you were different." "But evil?" "I don't want to talk about it," Kim says quickly. Cleo sighs, as she looks back to the screen, with a sad look on her face. Oh, we are so talking about this later.

Miriam: "Get away from me!"

Kim: still tearing. "It's real."

Rikki: props her feet up on the seat and smiles. "Finally, something interesting."

"Now that's the Rikki I know," Terry smiles.

Miriam: angry, she continues struggling. "Get away from me. What are you doing?"

Kim: stops ripping the tail and stands up, confused. "Why is your tail tearing?"

Miriam: "Because it's a costume you moron." Kim begins backing away as Miriam takes her crown off. "Just you wait." She groans as she gets up. "I'm going to get you. Come here, come here, come here, come here."

Kim: "Get away." She keeps backing away as Miriam attempts to chase after her but just keeps wobbling. Cleo looks at Kim, worried as she watches.

"Were you worried about me?" Kim asks. "Maybe a little," Cleo admits. "Aw, didn't know you cared," Kim teases; Cleo rolls her eyes playfully.

Miriam: falls off the stage, screaming, and the crowd gasps and starts laughing. Bev covers her mouth to keep from laughing out loud, Cleo doing the same. Don covers his face with his hands. The contestants and Mrs. Geddes gather around her, on top of the stage, and gasp at her. Miriam looks at them from on the ground. "Well? Any help here?" They look at her and begin to laugh as well while she starts to cry.

"Aw, now I'm starting to feel bad for her," Lisa says, still seeing a bit of the little girl she used to know.

"That had to hurt," Will says. "Her ego or physically?" Bella asks. "Both," he replies, making her giggle.

[A few minutes later, Mrs. Geddes talks to Don and Bev onstage when she sees Miriam and Tiffany begin to leave.]

Mrs. Geddes: "Tiffany, Tiffany." They stop to turn around and look at her. "Tiffany dear, congratulations. You won." She puts the crown on Tiffany's head and Miriam goes wide-eyed and storms off.

Tiffany: security guard hands her some flowers. "Me? Oh thank you."

"Now, she deserved it," Sam says, glad that she got what she earned.

"The real Miriam was what got exposed that day," Rikki says.

[Kim tries running off, but Cleo grabs her arm, stopping her.]

Cleo: with no hat on. "Kim, I know you stole my diary." She gets on the other side of Kim and bends down. Kim crosses her arms and pouts. "Is that where you got all those crazy ideas from?"

"Crazy, but real," Kim says. "But not the dangerous or evil part," Emma points out, making Kim look down.

Kim: doesn't look at her. "Dad says I'm not allowed to talk to anyone."

Cleo: "Kim, that diary was an English assignment. We had to rewrite fairy tales. I chose 'The Little Mermaid.' It's fiction."

"Since when did you get so good at lying?" Don asks curiously. Cleo does not respond, only points to Rikki, who smirks.

"A diary to turn in though?" Ash asks. "You try thinking of another excuse to come up with," Cleo defends.

Kim: shrugs and finally looks at her. "But what about your tail? You had one at home. I saw it."

Cleo: stands up straight. "Uh that was my first attempt at a costume. But I couldn't wear it because it shrunk."

Kim: "And the fish tank?"

Cleo: "Like I told you, the fish were in the bucket."

"Three lies in a row, pretty good," Rikki says impressed. "Don't encourage her," Terry sighs.

Kim: looks down. "I'm such an idiot. As if you could ever be a mermaid." Looks up with a smirk. "You can't even swim." They smile as Cleo puts a hand on Kim's back and they walk off.

"Oh, how wrong you are," Bella chuckles.

[At Mako Island, they all hang out in the pool; including Lewis, who is floating in a tube while holding a coconut drink in one hand, with an umbrella and a straw in it, in the middle of the pool. The girls are relaxing on the ledge in the water.]

Lewis: "The story is I've tested everything, the water, the rocks, the soil, the lichen, even the dust." He waves his hands around.

Emma: "And what did you find?"

Lewis: shrugs. "Everything's normal." He takes a sip of the drink.

"Seriously?" Denman asks, in complete shock. "Yep," Lewis replies. Then, what could it possibly be? If everything is normal, then what could it be?!, Denman thinks, a little outraged from nothing being discovered.

Max smiles, knowing that there was one thing still missing: the planetary alignments and the moon.

Emma: they look at one another. "So that's it? Your done."

Lewis: "Hey, I am putting in one hundred percent."

"Sure looks like it," Zane sarcastically says.

Rikki: looks at Cleo. "So Cleo, what did you do with the diary?"

Cleo: "Don't worry, I took care of it. No one's going to find it ever again." She smiles. While below them, the diary sinks to the bottom of the moon pool.

Max gulps, feeling a little upset. The same place where Gracie left her locket, of course.

"Oh, so that's where it went," Kim realizes. "No wonder I couldn't find it again." "You went looking for it again?!" Cleo shouts. "Girls, please! No more!" Don yells, quieting them down, and the entire theater.

Don sighs, "Anyways, who wants the remote next?" "I do! I know exactly what's coming up," Elliot says eagerly. They look at the eager little boy in confusion as he grabs the remote. Rikki sighs, knowing exactly what he means as he presses play.
