(Mario and co. had finally arrived at the Death Egg where the last Chaos Emerald resides. However, they were spotted by a Z-Yux where it tries to shoot at Mario and friends, but Vivian managed to get the upper hand)

VIVIAN:

We might wanna hurry in there if we don't want to die!

(They hurried in the nearby room)

MARIO:

That was close!

GOOMBELLA:

I'll say!

VIVIAN:

Today's code is [014029]. Do NOT forget it! Cool!

BOBBERY:

We need to find a way to get the last Chaos Emerald…

FLAVIO:

Why don't we disguise ourselves?

GOOMBELLA:

Hmm, good idea! Everyone, find a costume in the lockers and put them on!

(Later on, Koops was dressed up like Flavio)

KOOPS:

Don't I look nice? Arggh!

(Koops comes out of the room and notices that he and Flavio were the only ones out there)

KOOPS:

That's strange. Nobody's…

VIVIAN:

Hey, Koops! What do you think of my costume?

KOOPS:

I think it looks…

(Koops turned his head to face Vivian when he saw her Flavio costume, he stopped talking and saw how pretty she looked)

VIVIAN:

Beautiful?

KOOPS:

Y-Yeah! Gosh, I…

VIVIAN:

It's okay, I understand how you feel about me.

(Koops then noticed that his and Vivian's lips are about to be touching. She then touched Koops' cheeks)

VIVIAN:

I think you're really cute and handsome.

KOOPS:

Viv, what are you…?

(Before Koops could finish his sentence, Vivian kissed Koops. Vivian then hugged Koops as they were still kissing. Just then, Mario and Eggy exited the room and noticed Koops and Vivian making out in their Flavio costumes)

EGGY:

Gonzales, what are they doing!?

(Koops and Vivian reluctantly broke themselves free)

VIVIAN:

Uhh, we're just…

EGGY:

Don't deny it, you two! We saw it!

GOOMBELLA:

Saw what?

(Mario turned around and saw that Goombella was also dressed like Flavio)

MARIO:

Holy mother of pastas! You're so dad gum pretty!

GOOMBELLA:

Aww, thanks, Mario!

FLURRIE:

What about me, sweetheart?

(Mario and Goombella saw that Flurrie's dressed like Flavio as well)

GOOMBELLA:

You're also pretty, too, Flurrie!

(Bobbery and Ms. Mowz came out dressed like Flavio)

BOBBERY:

How do I look?

MS. MOWZ:

No messages.[English]

MARIO:

Amazing!

BOBBERY:

Thanks, old boy! But, how come you and your little dino buddy are not wearing your pirate suits?

EGGY:

We couldn't find any, Bobbery!

BOBBERY:

But what if those bad guys detect you, old boy?

MARIO:

I'll take care of them, admiral! Now, let's-a… where's the last emerald?

VIVIAN:

Hidden somewhere on the third floor. But you'll need four security keys and two elevator keys to use the elevator, and one of the security keys is in Grodus's computer lab in his lair. Follow me, I've been in the lair before.

(So Mario and friends followed Vivian to Grodus's computer lab and saw the green security key)

MARIO:

Holy pasta! There it is!

(Mario grabbed the security key and starched it in his overalls, then they headed to the elevator and went up to sublevel one. Then they walked up to where they had to input the code while Mario knocked the Elite X-Naut unconscious)

FLURRIE:

Do you know the code, Mario?

MARIO:

I forgot.

VIVIAN:

I know the code.

(Vivian popped her bones in her fingers and typed the code "014029," and it worked. They got inside and they witnessed a sleeping Thwomp being guarded by two X-Yuxes)

GOOMBELLA:

Wait a minute… that Thwomp looks just like the other one back at Schwonk Fortress!

MARIO:

But it's even tougher.

(The Thwomp woke up and smirked at the gang)

THWOMP 2:

Who dares to trespass my room! I'm guessing you're wanting the elevator key that I'm guarding, but if you're not… then my X-Yuxes will kill you all!

MARIO:

We're actually here for the elevator key, so no need to kill me! I'll take on your quiz game!

THWOMP 2:

Mmmm hmmm hoo ha ha! You're MINE now! And here we gooooo, folks! The main event! The 66th Annual Quirk Quiz! YAY! If you get five correct answers to the following questions, then you win, win, WIN! But if you get just three wrong answers, you're toast! You don't wanna be toast, folks!

MARIO:

Were you affiliated with that other Thwomp in Schwonk Fortress?

GOOMBELLA:

Both Thwomps are related, which explains why his quiz is number 66 while the other one is 65!

THWOMP 2:

Well, what're we waiting for, huh? Heeeeeeeeeeere we go! Question Number One!

MARIO:

Flavio, go and say the questions!

(Mario threw Flavio behind the Thwomp)

FLAVIO:

Exactly what's hidden here?

MARIO:

Elevator Key!

GOOMBELLA:

Ah! It all makes sense!

THWOMP 2:

You suuuuuuure about that?

MARIO:

Yep!

THWOMP 2:

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! You're correct! Crud! But that was an easy one… you won't do so well on the next one, I GUARANTEE that! Here we go, sucker!

EGGY:

Let's go!

THWOMP 2:

Now, Question Number Two!

FLAVIO:

What's the name of the girl in Petalburger who was the guardian of Koops?

KOOPS:

Koopie Koo!

THWOMP 2:

Now, Question Three!

FLAVIO:

Goomba, Lava Bubble, Buzzy Beetle, and Boo. How many feet do they have? Total!

EGGY:

Hmm…

MARIO:

Six!

THWOMP 2:

We're on to Question Four!

FLAVIO:

It's elementary for non-idiots! Where was the one, the only, Green Chaos Emerald?

(Mario picked up the green Chaos Emerald)

MARIO:

It was lying in the Petal Meadows, then Hooktail came and ate it!

THWOMP 2:

GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! You're correct, you jerk! You're no longer helping me pirate guy! I'm gonna toss an extra-hard one your way!

GOOMBELLA:

Well, here we go again!

THWOMP 2:

And now, Question Five! What was Prince Mush's fate?

MARIO:

Prince Mush?

GOOMBELLA:

According to Jolene, Grubba killed him with his machine!

THWOMP 2:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Cuh-Correct! That's five correct answers! You win!

MARIO:

Now! Elevator Key, please.

THWOMP 2:

I'm so mad right now, I can hardly see straight! I lose! I LOOOOOOOOOSE! Fine! But I really hate you! Take this, you bum!

(He then summoned an elevator key. Mario picked it up)

MARIO:

Let's-a get outta here before we push that Thwomp's buttons!

(Mario and co. left the room as Mario stashed the elevator key in his overalls. They then took the already unlocked elevator to sublevel 2. They went in the room where there's a chest that contains something)

VIVIAN:

Notice how some of the tiles are glowing? That's where you can step on them without getting shocked.

(Mario trusted Vivian and followed the glowing tiles until he made it to the chest. He opened it and saw a red security key and stashed it in his overalls. They made it to the locked elevator and unlocked it, and they went down to sublevel 3 and took another puzzle solving room. This time, a few tiles are glowing even more and slithers to the chest. Mario followed the slithering tiles all the way and opened the chest and stashed the yellow security key in his overalls. They went to opposite side and unlocked the door with the three security keys)
