The mist enveloped the whole forest like a blanket made of foam covered the green bed. The darkness under this blanket was enough to scare any traveller from venturing inside. The silence of the forest was defeaning.

Only the hunters of the night, the nocturnal creatures hunted at this period of time. It was no longer a forest, but a stage where the winners were awaiting for their prey to enter into the traps prepared with perfection.

However, a man in robes as dark as the night walked straight through the forest with precision and caution.

The man had no means to lighten up the before him. He had no means to figure out the directions as well. And yet, his steps carried a level of confidence and experience like a ranger. It was clear that this person either had courage to take anyone, or he was just an idiot ignorant of dangers lurking beneath the veil of darkness.

"So, this is Prime Material Plane where the first step of our plan will bear fruit. Not as beautiful as the Feywild, but that world belongs to fairfolk, so it can't be helped."

Satoru muttered in a low tone. As the forest was still unfamiliar to him, he decided to not cross his limits here and anger any spirits or creatures who were working under the Archfey of this forest.

Basically, Titania wanted to fix her sister without any major showdown or angring any of the greater powers like the Deities or the Elder Evils. She had a plan to slowly wittle down the Unseelie Queen's army and her supports as much as possible. And for that purpose, she gave him some "quests" to fulfill as a part of her secret legion.

Generally, a normal person would have rejected the mission altogether. As the gravity of the end game was too much to resist. And so was what Satoru was going to do.

But, he did not. He heard her plans and gave some insights of his own to make the whole future scenario as perfect as possible. Even he knew that the possibility of this going wrong in many ways. He had the trust of only one Archfey, who might not be stronger than deities, were still a force to reckon for the rest of the mortalkind. There were other Archfeys who could change the course of action had they wanted to.

Titania herself understood the flaws of her plan. To make it effective, she required the help of other Archfeys, regardless of them being weaker than her or not.

And for that reason, she sent him to meet one of her colleague's home.

The Kryptgarden forest.

A place under his authority. A forest where an evil verdant prince was awaiting to fulfill his cruel desires. A poor guy who lost his wife — the very complementing aspect of this evil Archfey.

His name was Witchthorn — the King of Krpytgarden and the fallen Archfey who lost much of his powers due to a powerful dragon.

Now, Satoru was not the best person when it came to combat. Especually, against the likes of an evil dragon who was considered very smart amongst her kind. But he indeed had some ways to deal with the corrupted wife of King Witchthorn. He mentally hoped it would work at her, otherwise, he had no choice, but to kill this Green Dragon.

As he wandered deeper into the forest, he stopped at one place. Once seeing that there were nobody around him, Satoru put his hand slowly in his robes which entered into his inventory, and from there, he grabbed a golden bell.

This was a gift from Titania. To help him in his conversation with the King of Tsordvudd. As he was not in the best condition to speak with any stranger.

The bell bestowed upon him was called as the [Rhythms of Archfey] — a magic item that rang magically. It produced the ringing sounds only heard by the fairies. Or anybody, whose lineage went to the Feywild. Such items were sought by many fey hunters to trap fairies and later kill them to extract important materials.

Titania had warned him about to never loose this item and return it immediately. In wrong hands, the archfeys would be in major trouble.

Ringing the bells in the middle of the forest, he waited for the suspected Archfey to come at his place. After his arrival, Satoru would teleport him away from here. He was already prepared at the enemy's confrontation had they attacked him.

In the Feywild, the Arcane Magic boosted to its highest degree of strength. But it also turned him a little sentimental. As he accepted its magic, the world also bypassed hus psychic immunities like how a World Item might do to him.

For next 20 minutes, he kept ringing the bell as he poured as much patience as he could. As he was about to use his magic to search this fairy king, he heard some rustled in the shrubs. The trees were shaking uncontrollably and the winds were whispering incomprehensible words in his auditory range.

The smell of the same Feywild filled his surroundings and the [Mana Essence] showed him the presence of the royalty for whom he was waiting here.

Out of nowhere, a tall masculine emerged out of leaves. His two antler-like branches sprouted from the either sides of his head. In front of him, a man in his forties stood tall and annoyed with glowing red eyes at him. He was glaring at him with disdain and fury.

"How dare you used those bells? Where did you get that?! Did you steal it?!"

As an Archfey, his glare was strong enough to kill anyone weaker than or turn them insane. His glare was just that strong!

Not wanted to stay here any longer and let himself be influenced by the same sentimental aura, albeit far far weaker than in the Feywild. Satoru took the lead to talk.

"Sorry for the intrusion, Lord Witchthorn. But I have a message from Lady Titania to you. Here."

He took out a scroll from his inventory and gave it to him.

"If it is a trap, then consider yourself dead!" He growled at Satoru while maintaining his glare.

He read the scroll several times over and even checked the royal seal of Summer Court several times as well. Once confirmed, the verdant prince nodded at Satoru without his previous glare. Yet, he still maintained a serious composure in his presence.

"Fine. I am ready to hear you. And if you are really what this letter tells, then you may be able to defeat that green lizard."

"I do not know what she wrote about me, but first and foremost, we need to get out of this forest. Staying here any longer will be counter-prouctive to my plan."

The Archfey frowned at leaving the Kryptgarden forest, but knowing what they were facing, he compromised.

"Fine. Let's get out of this place."

About Feywild affecting Satoru, let me clarify this one more time.

His World Item indeed protected him, but it was him who wanted to enjoy the Feywild first. This sort of thinking was enough to trigger the innate function of the World Item.

The World Item user can be affected by the power of other World class abilities if they desired.

Since Satoru desired to feel the Feywild, he accidentally toggled off the World Protection and got influenced by the world. He would sure remember his mistake from now on.
