In the Skyreach Castle, a woman named Rezmir read the reports regarding the missing Alandra. It was her hope that the Green Dragon Mask, which was somewhere in the lair of Claugiyliamatar, would fall in their hands to further their goals. Little by little, they managed to grab atleast 4 Dragon Masks. Unfortunately, one of the mask was stolen by the spies of Zhentarim.

Those rats were becoming a nuisance in their grand plan as if they were aware of the revival of the Dragon Mother, Lady Tiamat. She had to admit that they were becoming good in their tasks.

She was herself a half-black dragon, which made her thinking process similar to that of Black Dragons. And currently, she was planning on how to kill them in the most painful way of the world. Should she ask those nomads of the western islands, or the eastern necrophiliacs? Her mind could not make a solid decision at the moment.

"Nevermind. We will fix this problem eventually." She was assured of her victory. Her faction's victory to bring Tiamat in the world of Toril.

She waited for few more hours, until she finally surmised that there were no response from Alandra's side. It was right to assume that her favourite diplomat had either been killed by Claugiyliamatar or other adventurers. She believed the latter.

"Without her mask, the raiding on the Greenest Town will be dangerous. Shall I ask that blue Dragon to wreck havoc mindlessly? It will sure attract enough attention of the adventurers in order to transfer the hoard." She surmised.

Greenest Town was not really an enemy town, just farther away from the Waterdeep city. So far, that would take days for the adventurers to come there and help the already looted town. That way she could easily gauge the strengths of the adventurers and kill them. However, the fact that they were low in number did not make it batter.

More than half of the cultists were searching for more chromatic dragons to join them. It would take months, but they had enough time to adapt few more dragons into this amazing plan. Sure, the leader would be happy to have more assistance in the ritual and these dragons were just doing a favor for them.

She cast the 3rd level evocation spell [Sending, to report the missing cultists and thier leader Alandra to Severin.

"Lord Severin, her whereabouts are still unknown. Should we move as per our plan?" She reported

From the other side, a masculine voice could've heard.

"Has Neronvain prepared the Chuth and the Green Dragon Mask?"

"No. He has only the Chuth at his side. The mask has yet to come in our hands."

"Then, take Galvan with you to the Greenest village. He will assist you in the transfer of her sacred hoard."

Rezmir grumbled, but she could not refuse her leader. She knew where he was coming from.

With two Wyrmspeakers, it would be easier to draw out the enemies from the town, if they were there. Due to the new laws of Waterdeep, it wouldn't be surprising if they found themselves stuck with some powerful adventurers.

Rezmir herself was powerful, due to her half-dragon race and Galvan was a lich with electric affinity. His spells would be very helpful to stun some adventures, and later sell them into the Thayan slave markets. The more money they got from this raid, the better for their ritual to complete.

She was only annoyed that it should be none other than that lich Galvan. He did not seem loyal enough for the Cult and had his rivalry against that Overwizard of the North Tower was pretty much known in the whole organization.

But at the end of the day, she must follow the rules, as he was the best choice for them.

"Understood. I will contact you once we deal with the Greenest."

"Good. Hail to the Dragon Queen."

"Hail to the Dragon Queen."

She ended the contact line and slumped at her chair. Now, she had to bring that idiot to work. A part of her was still suspicious about the Kryptgarden and wondered about the Alandra. But, she had her allies who could alone deal with the adventurers.

Not to mention, they were also assisted by an adult blue dragon, Lennithon. She smirked at their victory as the trap laid for those foolish adventurers was ready.

Even if they figured out the secret of their plan and came to rescue the town, they would be killed mercilessly. It was going to be their ultimate stop.

The road to the Greenest village was pretty well-paved.

Satoru heard about the increasing demands for food from this town, which inhabited many different humanoid races. And among them, these three races were dominant in population. They were : humans, halflings and dwarves.

According to his information, the town's religion revolved around Chauntea — the human goddess of agriculture and harvest. This also reflected in their occupation as the farmers of the Western Greenfields.

It was an important town for the Faerun, which was developing slowly into a city. Its current size was small, but the economic strength of the town was good enough for them to raid.

That was what he found from the cultists.

"I can't remember her name. She must be a diplomat of the Dragon Cult, so it is quite expected that no help came. In the end, she was an expendable fir the mask. I won't be surprised if they have already laid a trap for my welcome."

Satoru said to himself.

He was cautious enough to cause them suspicious of hus true strength. For that reason, he used two 9th tier spells in conjunction : [Perfect Unknowable] and [Perfect Illusion]. The first spell hid him from all 5 senses, while the other one fooled the 5 senses of those who would try to perceive him.

He also used his new necromantic spell [Spirit Shroud] to come off as a wandering spirit and the [Vampiric Touch] as a counter-melee spell.

Going by foot was not his way of fixing problrm, especially when he was not even there. So, he was currently using flight spell.

The unpolluted winds crashed on his skull, and while he was no longer a human, he still acted like he was breathing fresh air. He was just iffed by the fact that he could not enjoy this air.

He wound see if there were some spells that could change him into a human for limited period of time. He would definitely use it to eat, drink, and sleep. It would be a part of his side quest.

As the sun started to set, Satoru wondered : should he stop the cultists to summon this goddess, or should he join them to bring Tiamat into the Faerun and later kill her.

Note : I was thinking if I should add some NW character in this fanfic or not. They would fit so well, as they were already so underused in other fics. Here, they have the chance to actually be the part. Like Gazeff, Brain, Evileye, Jircniv as adventurers or leaders.
