Five women walked through the roads of the Greenest. They were told to travel there as the number of goblins and ogres were increasing. To maintain the transportation of the crops from here, it was necessary that the security should be strong as well. And besides that, they were also here as a form of vacation. As of now, they were heading to the Temple of Chauntea.

Even though she was not her patron deity, Lakyus took it upon herself to go there and give her prayers as form of respect towards the deity of humanity.

However, all of them were aware for why they came to thus remote town.

Keno broke the silence with her question, "You know that I can just teleport all of us there. Then, why take the long route?"

Lakyus smiled nervously. She knew that Keno was the most talented individual in her group. With her seventh level magic, and being the strongest member of her team, it was obvious that she could not refute her question.

But it did not mean that she was correct here. Lakyus gave her a quick explanation.

"While it is true that you have a Teleport spell and strong enough to handle most of the problem, there is good reason for why we are taking this long route."

"And that is?" Keno asked.

"Suppose we run into a problem greater than we can handle, we will be dependent upon you for teleporting us to the nearest town. But for some reason, the town is under attack, then we will have no choice for to defend ourselves. We will be vulnerable at that time. By securing this town, or just by patrolling this place, we will have a good grasp on any underlying problem."

"Ah, so we are defending the town for our sake, not for the sake of these people." Keno replied bluntly.

Lakyus blushed at her brutal honesty as she watched around herself to see if they were being heard by someone. Fortunately, there were not that many people at this time to hear them.

Lakyus whispered to Keno, "Can you please put your voice down for a moment? If somebody heard us, then they will get a wrong idea about us!"

Keno scoffed, but decided to follow her request for the time being.

"Come on shortie, we know your capabilities, but the big boss will be angry if he found that you spoilt the whole quest." Gagaran cooed. As the strongest physical force of the Blue Rose, she had been the frontliner in both the brawling and taunting. And her latter abilities were still as good as they were for the group.

Behind her mask, Keno glared at her remark, but she did not want to make a scene in the middle of the street so she only mumbled a spell under her breath.

Suddenly, the road below Gagaran lost all friction making her fall on the ground. Though she was unharmed, it was still embarrassing.

"Oi shortie!"

"Sorry, can't hear you~! I haven't learned Gorilla language yet, so it is hard to decipher your words~!"

"Hey!"

The rest of them chuckled at their bickering. It was one of the many things Lakyus enjoyed with her friends. Sometimes, she wondered if they were doing this on purpose. She shook her head and broke their quarrel at once.

"Alright, alright. You two can do this tomorrow, but today we are under the quest of our dragon friend. Once we are done here, we will travel to the Kryptgarden forest."

As she said the word 'dragon' in her statement, the rest of them went into serious mode. They knew how much help their dragon friend had provided, and how serious he became whenever he gave them rare magic items.

"Tia and Tina will search for any suspicious object, person, location or event. Gagaran to the western gates and Keno to the town's library. I will finish my prayers in few minutes. We all will meet at Apple Pavillion after half an hour. Got it?"

The rest of them nodded in response.

It was a dimly lit hall with cracks in the wall and broken roof, through which light was falling inside. The rays of light was falling upon a massive creature of draconic origin. The platinum scales covered this behemoth from head and to tail, while his turquoise eyes watched through each mirror with intense focus.

Tsaindorcus, the Dragon Ascendant, watched the Kryptgarden forests and its surroundings through his Mirrors of Remote Viewing. As a warden of the Great Bahamut, it was his duty to maintain the peace in the world and kill the extra-planar creatures without mercy.

Just few days ago, he felt a powerful otherworldly magic in the area around Kryptgarden. He was aware that the chosens of Mystra would be capable of handling down such immense magical feats. But after watching no movement from the champions of the Goddess, he took the matter under his claws.

The magic was so similar to the ones used in Faerun, that normal archmages would just completely ignore it. But, he was not an ordinary archmage.

He was the Paladin of the Bahamut, who took the Oath of Watchers under his commands. As the last of the platinum dragons, he was considered as the rarest and the most valuable of all metallic dragons. Many warriors and greedy archmages attempted to kill him or use him for their ugly experiments, but he killed them all. To survive against these trash upon the world, he studied under great warriors, he excelled his breath weapon, pushed his physical limits beyond what normal dragons could hope.

He reached to the pinnacle of dragonkind through talents and efforts, to punish those who wronged him. To those who killed his family and siblings.

Abs he was not going to sleep, until the justice was dealt upon. He would not show any mercy upon this creature, no matter what alignment he belonged to, as it was the path he had taken!

Finally here.

Like always, thank you for enjoying the chapters. Hope you all like these new additions.

BTW, Tsaindorcus is pretty strong here, like how all dragons are. As he is almost equal to Daurgothoth.
