"Today's incident proved that guarding Master Emerald while remaining ignorant of outside threats is counterproductive."

The red echidna stood in the middle of Angel Island looking through the screen. Behind him were spirits of Eggman and Sonic standing back to back.

"Hadn't I met these 2 causes of my life's change. I fear the grimm future would eventually happen sooner or later."

7 Chaos Emeralds circling around Knuckles turning him into Super Form colored Light Pink.

"Which is why I took more proactive approach, utilizing the power guarded by my late ancestors."

With Solaris defeated, Knuckles finds the void lit with small flames he will soon extinguish.

"While the chance for that to happen is very slim, I can still hope that my next timeline's counterpart will reach the same enlightenment before this magnitude's disaster strikes again."
