What if 2006's Last Story was adapted into an arcade fighting game? Where survivors were forced to take the stand against Solaris themselves, unable to reawaken Sonic

4. Silver

Blaze used Azure and White Chaos Emeralds to absorb Iblis, sacrificing her life. All Silver could do was watch her fading away.

"Our time period, we worked too hard for its salvation, was only getting worse."

Survivors gather within void and find Elise carrying motionless Sonic.

"Mephiles unleashed Iblis in the past and used all 7 Chaos Emeralds to merge the Flames of Disaster with himself. Restoring their original form: Solaris."

Silver's fur now turned yellow as he uses his psy powers to fight the monster.

"The Chaos Emeralds however contained both alignments' energy. Solaris uses dark powers, while I absorbed light ones to took my last stand between universe's thriving and its total eradication."

Within pure void, Silver blew out Solaris's fire, as hedgehog's whole body glowed cyan and gradually started fading away

"Even it was just for a short while, I was happy to see the world's prosperity in past. If one day I'll reborn and meet its heroes, I hope it'll be under better circumstances."
