"Hehehe, Nebula we're their territory and they're marking us, besides they're not house or lab broken." Rocket told Nebula. It was mid morning and after getting lil sleep, Rocket and Nebula were tending to the baby raccoons however they'd found out their furry lil bubdles were marking their territory which included them, plus Rocket had learnt that baby raccoons imprinted with their parents's scents so had did that so if they got seprated, the baby raccoons could find his or Nebula's scents and find them deciding to maybe play hide and seek with them as Nebula had gotten them diapers making Rocket surprised. "Well we are parents of sorts now so I thought ahead." she told him putting them on with Rocket's hekp so she didn't pull any tails hearing them happier.
"That way, you can play and not have accidents plus daddy wants to play hide and seek." she told them seeing them excited as Rocket was counting, putting hispaws over his eyes counting to hundred to give them time to hide making Nebula giggle. She loved they were being dorks because of the baby raccoons plus they were teaching them a skill they'd be able to use seeing them hiding as Rocket was announcing he was starting to seek finding Nebula in the closet chuckling.
"I've no idea where our adorable lil ones are hiding. But we're having fun." Rocket told her making her smile as they heard soft chirping noises as the baby raccoons had found them making them smile.
"Way to go, guys as you found us using our scents. We're so proud of you." Nebula told then as she and Rocket were on the floor with them snuggling and laughing unaware Groot had entered the hluse making Rocket facepalm seeing the baby raccoons hiding guessing they'd decided to play hise and seek from Groot. "I am Groot." Groot said.
"It's okay buddy, they're just skittish aroubd new people. They'll be used to you soon." he reassured him seeing Nebula agreeing on this.
"Rocket, we also beed to name them, you know." she told him. Groot had left so the baby raccoons were hiding except for two as one that was male was on Rocket's armohred lap but the one on Nebula's lap was female giving hercan idea. "How about Bula for her,him making him smile. "Sure Rockiewhat about RJ for the boy, Rocket Junior you know or Rocky." she told him. "Rocky soundsadorable and he loves that." he replied to her seeing the other baby raccoons come out of hiding relieving them guessing Bula and Rocky's sibs needed names too making Rocket nodding naming them Peanut, Gammy, Bradley, Flora, Lylla which they loved plus Rocket was making them lil collars which Nebula found adorable and a good idea, only she wondered something.
"Rockie, how fast do baby raccoons grow, you know." she asked him seeing him shrug his furry shoulders in reply as he didn't know or really want to know.
But he then was getting messages from his friend, Logan making him chuckle and Nebula roll her eyes at him seeing him put his phone away. "Sorry aboht that guys, daddy just got distracted by his friend.} he told the infant raccoons making Nebula grin knowing even though they couldn't talk yet she found it adorable he talked to them, even though they might not understand what he was saying. She knew that it would be amazing to hear them speak, calling her mommy and knew that Rocket would be excited hearing then call him daddy. "They're getting sleepy somit's probabky naptime, Nebs." Rocket said leading the infant kits to his room as they were cuddling around him listening to him tellinga story, unaware Nebula was listening not wanting to wake them leaving them be realising they were becoming a lil family which was something she'd wanted besides a sister growing up.
"They're asleep Nebs but sleepy huh. What's on your mind." Nebula heard Rocket say coming into the kitchen after putting the baby raccoons to bed yawning so they were hanging out and having coffee but Rocket sensed something wason her mind. "You think they'll be able to talk you know." she asked him. He knew they didn't have cybernetics like him but if the HE had them, they probably could only that didn't matter to him nodding. "I believe they can if Terran babies can and they don't have cybernetics right." he told her.
"That's true Rocket, I guess we have to waitvand see but maybe." she told him kissing him seeing him go off to bed knowing he was going to be snuggling with their lil ones hoping they'd let him sleep as he needed it so around dawn, she was feeding them seeing them happy but pointing their paws at Rocket who was sleeping
"We're gonna let daddy sleep, as he needs it, okay." she told them unaware Rocket could hear that and unaware that Nebula was feeding the baby raccoons making Nebula grin seeing them cuddling around their father knowing this was a good thing knowing the other Guardians should know as they'd been worrying about their captain only she'd talk to Rocket about that later going to make coffee knowing that enticed her furboy to wake up deciding to leave him be as he needed rest. She also felt the others should know as they'd been worrying about their captain but that was something she could talk about with her furboy later, when he was more awake.
