Jaune rubbed the head of Neverflame, pointing to an area it can land. With a few flaps of its mighty wings, Neverflame gently placed King's Glaive on the ground before fully landing. The Arcs then jumped off the burning Grimm, Jaune rubbing the side of its face, making it purr.

"I'll take things from here, Neverflame. Go get some well-deserved rest, big guy." Neverflame cawed before it flew off, heading towards who knows where.

"I really liked riding Neverflame, though," Argent said.

"So you don't want to test out the new and improved King's Glaive," Jaune asked with a knowing smile and a raised eyebrow. He wasn't even surprised when he heard the rush of wind and felt the breeze blow past him.

"Come on, dad! We're burning daylight!"

"Yeah, yeah," Jaune said as he walked towards the bike.

"You really know how our kid works, don't you," Nimueh asked with a smile.

"I'd hope so, considering I'm the one who raised him."

"Oh? And what did I do," Nimueh asked as she leaned in towards her husband with a teasing smile.

"You stood around looking beautiful, making sure your boys didn't burn down the house."

"Damn right, I did," she said as she playfully punched Jaune's shoulder.

Jaune then looked to see Argent sitting in King's Glaive, the man looking over the bike. "Now, how did he say to do it again," he said to himself as he looked at the speedometer. Jaune then pressed several buttons on the bike.

"Whoa," Argent went in surprise as the bike expanded, now big enough to hold all three family members.

"Eep," Nimueh went after Jaune lifted her Princess Style before placing her behind Argent. He then got into the front, sandwiching the son between his parents.

"Hey, Nimueh, did Dante put our helmets in the saddlebags?"

Nimueh looked back and saw a button on the saddlebag. She pushed it, the compartment opening to reveal three helmets. "He did."

After all three put on their helmets, Jaune began charging the bike, which only took three seconds. "Damn, Dante went all out with this thing, eh?"

"And it's still incomplete," Nimueh reminded Jaune.

"Well, let's see what it can do now. Argent, hold on tight. You're about to feel what Mach 1 speed feels like."

Argent did his laugh as he hugged his dad tightly. "This is going to be so cool!"

Jaune then activated the wind guard before he pressed the button.

"WHOA," Jaune went.

"AAAH," Nimueh went.

"WHOOAAAAAAA-HOO-HOO-HOOO," Argent echoed as the King's Glaive shot forward at awesome speeds.

Jaune's enhanced eyesight allowed him to see the scenery around him, helping him avoid obstacles and prevent a crash. It was a bit tough, but nothing he couldn't handle.

"THIS IS AWESOME," Argent yelled.

"NOT THAT BIG ON POSSIBLY CRASHING ON A MOTORCYCLE AT THESE SPEEDS," Nimueh yelled.

"WE HAVE AURA," Jaune countered.

"AND I HAVE A FIST I CAN PUNCH YOU WITH! DON'T TEST EITHER ONE, HERO!"

"NOTED!" Then, as abruptly as they began, the King's Glaive began to slow down before rolling to a halt. "Huh?"

"What happened," Argent asked.

"We're... out of fuel," Jaune asked himself as he looked at the gauge.

"Well, I guess it's no surprise," Nimueh said. "That much speed is bound to eat up a lot of power."

Jaune sighed. "Guess I now know what Dante means when he said the bike was incomplete," he said as he charged the bike. "Well, at least we're close to a town," he said as he looked up. "Anyone hungry?"

"I could eat," Argent said as he raised his hand, only for his stomach to growl. "Shi-shi-shi," he went in embarrassment.

Jaune chuckled. "Nim?"

"I'm an immortal spirit given physical form thanks to your Aura who can choose whenever to feel the pleasures of the flesh, including hunger. What do you think," she asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile.

"Jinn," he asked as he looked at the lamp.

"DON'T ASK HER A QUE-" Nimueh began.

"Well, you still haven't given me the necessary amount of Aura to give me human functions," Jinn said as she appeared out of the lamp in her Spirit form but with the same outfit as her sister, looking more human. "But I wouldn't mind being able to walk freely," she said with a smile.

"Free Jinn it is," Jaune said as he watched his sister-in-law smile and vanish back into the lamp.

Nimueh groaned.

"Hm? What's up, Nim?"

"Just drive."

Jaune shrugged before revving the bike and heading towards the town.

Jaune found a place to park and took out his scroll. He held it over the speedometer, a light coming out of the scroll, scanning the bike.

ADMINISTRATOR RECOGNIZED Dante's voice went from the scroll. WELCOME, ARC, JAUNE. VOICE COMMAND READY TO BE RECEIVED.

"Security parking in civilian town."

RECOGNIZED. ACTIVATING LEVEL 1 SECURITY MEASURES. NOTIFICATIONS OF POTENTIAL TAMPERING WILL BE SENT TO YOUR SCROLL. PROTOCOL WILL DEACTIVATE AT VOICE COMMAND, ADMINISTRATOR'S TOUCH, OR SCANNING OF ADMINISTRATOR'S SCROLL.

"Again, Dante went all out," Nimueh said.

"Just think, tech like this will be all over Remnant one day if Dante has a say in anything," Jaune said as he grabbed the lamp.

"Uh, babe, could you maybe-" Nimueh began.

Jaune then activated his Semblance, charging the lamp. The Relic then began to glow brightly before it took form.

When the light was gone, there Jinn was, wearing black heeled shoes, blue jeans, the same button-down shirt as Nimueh, except hers was blue as opposed to her sister's dark purple, and wearing the golden bracelets, necklace, and earrings she wore as a spirit. However, her bracelets had the design of chains on them instead of actual chains hanging off of them.

Jinn then stretched while moaning suggestively. "Ooh, that feels even better than being free from the lamp. So this is what it's like to have a human body." She smiled at her sister. "You've been greedy, dear Nimueh."

"Tch. Let's just get something to eat so we can get home already," Nimueh said as she walked off, grabbing Argent's hand and dragging the boy before he matched her pace.

"She really isn't happy to be around you, is she," Jaune asked as he crossed his arms, looking a bit sad at his wife's attitude towards her sister.

"Oh, she's about to be much less joyous," Jinn said. Jaune raised an eyebrow at her.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

Jaune immediately ran towards his wife's voice, only to see her shaking as she was holding... a magazine. "Uh, Nim? What was that about?"

She rigidly turned towards her husband before holding the magazine up towards him.

Jaune walked up to her in confusion before looking at the magazine. His eyes then widened as he quickly swiped the magazine out of his wife's hand to analyze the cover.

"Man or Grimm... Which is better?! SEXIEST MAN IN THE WORLD, LIGHT AND DARK, JAUNE ARC?! WHAT THE HELL," Jaune yelled as he looked at an image of himself standing back-to-back with his Grimm self... on the cover of a fashion magazine.

"Jaune Arc, #1 Huntsman, Vale Knight, and now the Grimm King. So many titles, what more can he have? Oh, right. The sexiest man in the world," Jaune read off the magazine. He then groaned. "I think I liked it better when Neptune was on this damn thing. Why is my hair down in both forms?!"

"Well, many women find a man with long flowing hair attractive," Jinn said as she leaned against Jaune to look at the magazine. "Oh," she went after she was lifted and placed away from Jaune.

She looked to see an annoyed Nimueh. "Hands off the hubby."

"Oh, my," Jinn giggled.

"Page 72," Jaune read before flipping to the page. "HOW?!"

"Now what," Nimueh went before looking. "The war? That was days ago. How did anyone get- Oh," she went with a blank look.

"What," Jaune asked before looking at where his wife was. "Oh," he went as he had the same expression as her.

"Amanda," they went in unison.

"How did she even get these images? The Solitas winds should have frozen even one of Dante's drones solid," Jaune asked.

"Oh, she was actually on the field," Jinn answered.

"WHAT," Jaune went.

"See," Jinn went as she cupped her hands, creating a small window in her hands.

A New Mantle Snow Leopard was speeding through the tundra, poor Laurance screaming his head off while Amanda was laughing like a madwoman. "WHAT A SCOOP! YOU'D BETTER GET EVERY LAST SCENE LAURANCE, EVEN IF IT KILLS YA!"

"YES, MA'AM!" Laurance then screamed like a little girl when a Razorwing flew towards him.

It was shot out of the air by Amanda, her handgun Point-And-Shoot smoking. "OUT OF THE SHOT, SIDESHOW! WE'RE TRYING TO FILM THE REAL AWARD WINNER!" Amanda then laughed insanely again as she drove impressively through the mayhem, Laurance still screaming.

Jaune's eyebrow twitched. "That woman's going to get herself killed one day."

"Where even is she," Nimueh asked.

"Still in New Mantle," Jinn answered as she made another window.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE NO FLIGHTS OUT OF NEW MANTLE?!"

"I'm sorry, miss, but the Grimm attack greatly damaged our platforms and some of our ships. It will be some time before we are allowed back into the air."

"BUT I NEED TO GET TO ANIMA! OR BETTER YET, VALE! PLEASE, YA GOTTA MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN!"

"Um, Ms. Lavender-"

"NOT NOW, LAURANCE!"

"Ahem."

Amanda shuttered before turning behind her to see Harriet, who held up her license. "Ms. Amanda Lavender, I'd like you to come with me."

"Uh, sure. But, w-what did we do?"

Harriet raised her eyebrow before pressing her scroll, showing the recording of the Ice Dragon fight with Amanda's voice in the background. "You do know that this is not only highly dangerous but also illegal on the grounds of potential obstruction of duty, don't you?"

Amanda was about to say something before she slumped over. "Ah, fuck."

The Arcs couldn't help but laugh at Amanda's situation.

"Well, we won't have to deal with her for a while," Nimueh laughed.

"At least she's safe."

"Will she be in a lot of trouble, dad," Argent asked.

"She won't serve any jail time. She'll mostly get a hefty fine and probably be banned from New Mantle for a while. Probably a year at most."

"That doesn't sound so bad."

"It will be for her if your dad goes back, considering he's her meal ticket to the big leagues of journalism," Nimueh explained.

"Ooh."

"Speaking of meals, let's find a good restaurant some-" Jaune began.

"E-E-E-E-E-Excuse me?"

"Hm?" Jaune looked behind him to see a plump-looking woman who was shaking like a leaf, the shine of her glasses hiding her eyes.

"A-A-A-A-A-Are you, J-J-J-J-J-Jaune Arc?"

"Um. Yeah?"

The woman then screamed, her sparkling eyes now revealed. "IT IS HIM!"

More women screamed as they began to swarm the family.

"I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN, MR. ARC!"

"COULD YOU PLEASE SIGN MY MAGAZINE?!"

"IS THAT ARGENT?! HE'S EVEN CUTER IN PERSON!"

"I'M NOT CUTE!"

"OH, GODS, HIS WIFE IS BEYOND SEXY!"

"I WOULD KILL FOR A BODY LIKE THAT!"

"HEY! ONLY JAUNE GETS TO TOUCH ME THERE," Nimueh said as she smacked someone's hand away.

"WHOA! WHO IS SHE?!"

"Oh, my name is Jinn."

"SHE'S GORGEOUS!

"Why, thank you."

Jaune was holding up his hands in surrender, reluctantly signing some magazines before he sighed. He then grabbed Nimueh and Jinn with his arms before scooping up Argent with a Deathstalker Tail, the boy gripping the stinger like it was a handle. He then grew Nevermore wings and took to the sky.

A woman screamed. "BLONDE HAIR WITH BLACK WINGS!"

"THAT'S SO HOT!"

"The contradiction." A woman in glasses then had a nosebleed. "It's too much. Too sexy."

"YOU REALIZE HE'S MARRIED, DON'T YOU," Nimueh yelled.

"ALL THE BETTER," the girls yelled.

Nimueh then grew a tick mark. "Oh, they're dead."

"Uh-uh," Jaune went before flying away. The girls then chased after them.

However, as they ran into an alley, they didn't know that Jaune actually landed on a roof and doubled back, making them go on a wild goose chase. "Right then, see any good restaurants?"

Nimueh gripped Jaune's shoulder and pointed. "Nim, that's a bar." She pointed harder. Jaune sighed in defeat.

It was a fairly empty joint with plenty of seating. One table had six seats, so the Arcs sat down.

As soon as they did, a waitress handed them menus. However, she also gave Jaune and Nimueh drinks.

"Uh, I didn't-"

"It's on the house. For that little fiasco earlier. Oh, and we went and gave you top," the waitress went with a wink. "Lucky you, hero." She then walked away.

Jaune watched her leave before hearing a glass slam. He looked to see Nimueh grab his glass and downs it before slamming it next to her empty glass. "I HATE this town."

Jaune stared at his wife. "Could you make them both a double," Jaune called.

"Sure thing," the waitress called back.

"Both for me," Nimueh asked.

"Of course."

"Good boy."

Jinn took a bite of her chocolate cake and hummed in pleasure. "Exquisite. Having knowledge of flavor is one thing, but experiencing it is a much grander experience altogether. I'm grateful that you convinced me to try at least the cake, Jaune."

"You have a human body now. Might as well enjoy having it," Jaune said before taking a bite from his steak.

"Family can be quite nice, it seems. Most of the time, anyway," Jinn said as she glanced to her side, looking at her sister.

"Don't make me hurt you," Nimueh said with closed eyes as she ate her salmon. Jinn giggled.

"Hey, Aunt Jinn," Argent asked after he swallowed his fried chicken.

"Yes, sweetie?"

"How long before we get back home?"

"Not long at all. Even without the Mach Booster, if your father drives at, say 60mph, we should reach the manor before the end of the day. Though, it may take longer, factoring any distractions that may come our way."

"Distractions," Jaune asked.

Jinn smiled before tapping on the table, creating different illusions. "Wild Grimm not yet under your control, bandits too ignorant to recognize you, civilians in need of aid, and of course, missions."

"Like Huntsman missions," Argent asked.

"Of course. In the end, your father is still a proud Huntsman. The best of the best. And being an International Huntsman, he can take missions from anywhere in the world. Though, admittedly, he will need certain qualifications to take on certain jobs."

Nimueh choked on her drink before glaring at her sister. "Jaune? MY Jaune needs qualifications to take on jobs? He's literally the #1 Huntsman. What qualifications will he need?"

"Well, it wouldn't be fair to give the #1 Huntsman every job, for one. But that's not important, since no one would waste his time with 3rd class missions. What I'm talking about is equipment."

"Then that shouldn't be a problem. I'm the Grimm King. Those things exist everywhere."

"But can you do everything EVERY Grimm can do? Say, breath underwater?"

Jaune jolted. "Uuuh."

"Exactly. After all, even on your underwater missions, you had help from Sea Faunus, like that friend of yours off the coast of Vaccuo. And let's not forget that you still haven't found Roman Torchwich's Dust Stash. There are plenty of rumors for you to discover and much treasure for you to unearth. Finally, you still need to collect the necessary material to fully upgrade your King's Glaive. A nice bonus is that you can purchase or collect different armor sets before you get the armor from my brother."

"Wow! It's like a whole list of side quests," Argent said in excitement.

"Whoa, there, Arie. Our life may seem like one, but it isn't an RPG. We have certain duties to take care of," Jaune said.

"An RPG is a perfect analogy, actually," Jinn began. "The more you improve yourself and your equipment, the easier your life will be. Your powerful, Jaune, but so are your enemies, and they're only getting stronger. If I were you, I'd begin these little 'side quests' as soon as possible," Jinn said as she rested her chin on her hand.

"Noted, but no offense, Jinn, I'd rather get you home as soon as possible."

"Oh? Me," she went with a smile.

"Nimueh, Argent, and I are a team. We can all fight on our own. I'd rather not drag the brains of the family into any of our fights."

"Mm, understandable. You're so caring, Jaune. Such a kind brother-in-law. If only my sister were as kind as you. Oh, woe is me to have such a cold younger sister. Sob, sob, sob."

Nimueh accidentally gripped her fork hard enough to bend it. "I was made BEFORE you. Hell, you were made LAST," Nimueh grumbled.

"Well, on that note, everyone seems done," Jaune said as he finished his plate, and his family followed suit. Jaune then placed the right amount of lien on the table before using his powers to hand the tip to the waitress the moment she came into view.

She whistled when she looked at her tip. "Richest Huntsman indeed," she said as she pocketed the money. "Please come again," she said with a wave as the Arcs left.

"I thought mom and Aunt Weiss were the richest Huntresses in the world."

"They are. I'm the richest HUNTSMAN, kiddo."

"Oh."

"Jinn, if you'd be so kind," Jaune said as he held out his hand.

Jinn giggled. "Only because you asked so nicely," she said before reverting back into a lamp, floating in Jaune's palm.

"We can pawn her off, you know," Nimueh said.

"Nim," Jaune said in a disapproving tone, Nimueh just turning away, sticking her nose up with her hands on the back of her head.

The family then got onto the King's Glaive.

"THERE HE IS," a fangirl called.

"Time to go," Jaune and Nimueh went in unison before Jaune sped away, the fangirls still screaming after him.

Hours later.

"Dad, I can see Vale!"

"This feels oddly nostalgic," Nimueh said.

"We've only been gone for a month, Nim."

"And we went through a lot of crap in that month."

"True. It will be nice to be back home, that's for sure." Jaune then reeved the bike, going faster.

It didn't take them long to reach the forest path.

"I've missed these trees," Argent said. "Hey, a Beowolf!"

Jaune looked to see the said Grimm running up next to the bike, not looking confrontational at all. If anything, it seemed to greet them. Argent couldn't help but reach out and scratch the back of the Grimm's ear. When he finished, the Beowolf shook its head, barked, and ran back into the forest.

"Shi-shi-shi, I could get used to that."

Jaune chuckled before he looked up and whistled. "Good as new." Jaune drifted to a halt in front of his mansion.

"Finally, back home," Nimueh said as she and her family got off the bike.

When they walked up, they noticed that there was no keyhole, but there was a familiar scanner. Jaune immediately took out his scroll and held it above the scanner. One scan later.

WELCOME HOME, JAUNE ARC, HOUSEHOLD HEAD

"Heh, nice," Jaune said as he pocketed his scroll and entered the house with his family.

Had they been more vigilant, they would have noticed the car parked in front of the garage.

"Wow, it's like it was never destroyed," Argent said in awe.

"Yeah," Jaune said before he saw a light in the kitchen. "What?" He then ran towards it, followed by his wife and son.

"Alright, who the hell is in my- geh."

"What's wrong, Jaune," Nimueh asked as she entered the kitchen. "Geh."

"Hm? What is it," Argent asked before looking. His eyes widened before he got an excited smile.

"Oh, so you're finally back." Coffee was being poured. The woman then turned towards the family, holding her steaming cup, green eyes burrowing into Jaune and Nimueh.

"Welcome home."

"G-Glynda," the couple went in unison.

A/N: I don't know why, but I like this chapter. No action. No violence. No threat to the Arcs' lives. Just a family being a family. Calm chapters like this are nice every once in a while.
