First, replying to your comment: Part 2 didnt disappoint and YEEEEESSSSS! NEEEEOOO! XD "
Second: *sees Kali reaction* ...wait a min- HOLD THE FUCK UP! NO! AHAHAHAHAHA! PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A TEASE! XD
Third: TWINS?! TWINS?! OH OHOOO! MY GOOD SIR! YOU HAVE! MY! UNDIVIDED! ATTENTION! XD
And lastly, Personally I like GC. Although he's in Jaune's image, he's got his own personality. However he shouldnt be a constant focus tbh. A side but relevant character tbh.
I think Shiva would make a good protagonist. I've always been interested in her due to her personality and a couple of the chapters, like the Halloween one and this two parter gave me a better idea of how she is XD Definitely would love to see more exploration of The Crevice but with a change of characters from time to time to keep it fresh :) Anyways, as always dude, love your fics, this is awesome and keep it up. Happy New year btw XD
You really do deserve your name.
Wait and yee shall see.
You just made their day, my friend.
Yeah, that could work. A sort of Monster Hunter gameplay, except instead of choosing between a Longsword or a Hunting Horn (don't you dare tell me which weapon is the best! I'm a Longsword man! Though, I do like the bug glaive as well), you choose which Huntsmen is best for you: Shiva, Silber, Gaia, GC, Ruby, Qrow, and eventually even Winter herself once you reach... say Level 40 of The Crevice. Gonna be a hell of a lot of grinding but still worth it!

Toriyama Felt Gohan would not Make Good Eastern Hero.
Goku is a Eastern Hero
Saiyanman is Take on Western Hero
Well, he wasn't exactly wrong if you ask me. Gohan felt to... normal? Human? He didn't feel like a DB hero, or any hero for that matter. He just doesn't feel like Goku's true successor, ya know? In my opinion, Toriyama made the right choice. Let's hope Trunks and Goten have a good run as the MCs of these next few chapters. Though, so far, their stint feels more like a comedy than anything. Meh.

weird story lol
Hey, I'm a weird guy. What do ya want from me?
Argent jumped out of the way of Loz's punch, the shock wave creating another crater. When he landed, the boy weaved to avoid an uppercut and sidestepped to avoid a straight. Argent then countered with a vertical slash followed by an Aura Enhanced shield bash that sent Loz smashing into a tree.
Loz laughed. "Not bad, little brother!" Loz then grabbed the tree he was on and pulled it down, making the massive plant slam toward Argent.
The boy wasn't deterred. He instead crouched down, holding his sword in a lowered position. Argent then jumped toward the tree with a spin and slashed through the tree. "I'M NOT YOUR LITTLE BROTHER," Argent yelled as he readied his greatsword.
Argent then Enhanced his arms with enough Aura to make them glow. The Aura even began to cover his sword. When he was ready, Argent gave out a loud battle cry as he swung his sword, creating a massive wind blade speeding towards Loz.
"Ooo," Loz went, a smirk on his face.
KABOOM
Argent landed with a small grunt. He looked at the massive crater before him. It looked as if he scarred Remnant itself with that move.
"I met my older brother," Argent said as he deactivated the greatsword function. "And he's way cooler than you'll ever be."
Meanwhile.
Sparrow sneezed.
"Got a cold, you little shit," asked a swollen, bloodied bandit Sparrow was holding by his collar.
"Shut up," he said before using the hilt of his sword to knock the guy out. "That was the last of them, Night."
A figure landed behind Sparrow. It was revealed to be a young man, possibly about three years older than Sparrow. The young man was a Faunus. One of the rarest species of Faunus at that. So much so that they're considered legendary: a Dragon Faunus.
He had bushy auburn hair, green eyes, and jet-black wings. He had a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, which he put away after the fighting was over. "Thanks, Sparrow."
He shrugged. "We're allies. This is what we do. Still, these guys seemed a bit tougher, don't you think?"
"They did take longer to beat, yeah. We only ever had this much trouble with..."
"With," Sparrow asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Nothing. We'll handle them from here."
Sparrow stared at his friend before looking up to see the other "Dragons" flying down with their captives. Sparrow sighed. "Yeah, I did my job. Just don't forget the payment, yeah?"
"Yeah, yeah. A keg of our yak milk and a keg of our ale. I swear you're addicted to that stuff," Night said with crossed arms and a smile.
"What can I say? You Dreki make damn good drinks," Sparrow chuckled as he turned to activate his Semblance.
He was still for a second. "Night... you can turn to the Branwen Tribe if you ever have trouble. You know that, right?"
Night was silent for a bit. He then smiled. "Don't worry, Sparrow. We know. Just like you know that Ormr Island will always be the Branwen Tribe's ally." Sparrow nodded before slicing open a portal, walking through it, followed by his men.
A blonde Dreki with blue spiked wings landed next to Night. "Maybe we should have told him. Sparrow is one of the most powerful humans I've ever met, and his mother is practically invisible. If we had the Spring Maiden on our side, this war-"
"Is our problem, Storm. We're Dreki. Dragons. We can handle this," he said before picking up the bandit and flying away.
Storm sighed. "I hope you're right," she said before following the next chief of her tribe.
Argent sighed in relief as he put away his sword.
"So we have another brother." Argent jumped when he heard Loz behind him. "Good to know."
Loz used his weapon on Argent, sending him flying into a tree. He gagged as he fell to his feet, looking at the sparking area where Loz hit him. Argent looked up to see Loz walking towards him with a smirk.
'How is he still standing after that,' Argent thought. He then reached for Crocea Mors.
"Ah-ah-ah," Loz went after grabbing Argent's arm, surprising the boy with his speed. He then picked up Argent by his arm and took away his sword. "Let's not rely on dad's old toy, eh?" He then threw Crocea away, the sword sticking into the side of a tree high up. He then threw Argent away, thinking he would slam into another tree.
Argent surprised him by landing on the tree, looking up with a glare before landing on the ground.
"Not bad, kiddo," Loz said. He then appeared before Argent in a flash, his gauntlet sparking as it rushed toward Argent's face.
Argent easily redirected the punch with one arm, surprising Loz. With his free arm, Argent punched Loz in his solar plexus, making the man gag. Argent followed with an uppercut to Loz's open chin, having to jump to reach the tall man's head. While airborne, Argent spun around and landed a roundhouse that sent Loz bouncing away before he flipped and landed on his feet, looking up with wide and surprised eyes as his Aura flickered for a second.
"You think I don't know how to fight?!" Argent then took the Xiao Long stance. "MY AUNT IS FLAME GODDESS YANG XIAO LONG, DICKHEAD!"
"DAMN RIGHT, I AM," Yang yelled as she sent an untamed Ursa flying with a punch.
"Uh, Yang? Are you alright," Blake asked
"Hm? Uh, yeah. I have no idea what came over me. But for some reason, I'm really proud of Argent right now."
"Huh?"
Loz blinked a few times before he chuckled. He then stood up and popped his neck and cracked his knuckles before taking his stance. "This is going to be fun."
The two were still for a bit, both sizing the other up. Out of either of their sights, a leaf fell. The moment it hit the ground, the two appeared before the other, both throwing a punch. When Loz's gauntlet clashed with Argent's Aura Enhanced fist, it caused a shock wave that blew away all the leaves on the trees nearest to them, beginning their second round of combat.
Jaune and Kadaj dueled, their clashes creating craters throughout the forest. Then, they clashed, Jaune's scowl meeting Kadaj's smile.
"So Darkness went to you and your little gang, did he?"
"Oh, yes. Grandfather was quite generous, giving us this power to come after you."
"Grandfather?" Jaune kicked Kadaj away, the boy skidding to a halt, his smile never going away. "You're sick, kid. First, you call me your dad, and now you're calling the God of Darkness your grandfather? You need help, Kadaj."
"Oh, I disagree. After all, Grandfather was the one who told us to address him as such."
"What?"
"You heard me right, Father." Kadaj chuckled as he began to pace around, Jaune following his lead. "Grandfather truly is amazing. To think he could give away power as easily as snapping one's fingers," Kadaj said as he snapped his fingers. "He is truly kind and benevolent. All this power. The privilege to wield magic. A gift that only the Four Maidens were able to use until you came along. So, I have to ask, why do you reject him, Father?"
"If you knew what he did to my ancestor, to Salem, then you-"
"Oh, I know. Grandfather showed me. She was so ungrateful. She should have gone to him instead of that selfish God of Light! All he needed was faith and worship, and he would have easily resurrected that failure, Ozma. Grandfather was willing to let those two live happily IF SALEM HAD NOT TRICKED HIM! He was shown so much disrespect. Is it any wonder he took back what he gave?"
Jaune sighed. "Well, when you put it that way."
"See, Father? You're smart enough to see the truth, yet you still reject him. How could you be so hypocritical? You're using his power as we speak. You've made the Grimm turn into beloved guardians. You used his magic to protect the humans. Your greatest weapon is HIS DAUGHTER! YOU OWE SO MUCH TO GRANDFATHER! WHY DO YOU DISRESPECT HIM SO?!"
Jaune looked at Kadaj. "Because of how easily he could have fixed the problems he and his brother created."
"What?"
"You say I turned the Grimm into guardians, but he was the one who made them into murderous monsters, to begin with. You mentioned how he could have allowed Salem and Ozma to live happily together if he wasn't tricked, but he drove Salem mad by continuously killing Ozma in front of her. He also made it worse when he allowed his brother to give Salem immortality to teach her a lesson and chose not to kill her when they left the planet. What's more, his brother stupidly brought Ozma back to life to fight Salem, creating the conflict Nimueh and I had to end with team RWBY and my own team. I admit, Salem has committed many sins against the gods and this world, but they only made the situation worse. I will always be grateful for Nimueh's creation, but everything else? Becoming this... THING? Being told the world would be destroyed because people gave me gratitude I never asked for? Having to protect the world from destructive monsters because of a literal jealous god? He's nothing more than a petulant child. He only wants glory and worship for the acts of others, and I cannot respect a being such as that."
Kadaj stared at Jaune before holding up his sword. "Glory and worship? Of course, that's what he wants. Look at what he gives, Father," Kadaj said as he traced his hand across his blade, making it glow and crackle with electricity and white fire. "How can one not worship a being who gives such power? It seems you have much to learn, and Grandfather has chosen me to be the teacher." Kadaj then swung his sword, a slashing wave of electrified fire rushing past Jaune. He glanced down to see the burning, sparking pit next to him, grunting unenthusiastically. "And I will not fail him."
Jaune shook his head in disappointment. "Kadaj... you can't beat me. Just surrender and let me take you in peacefully. You need help, son."
Kadaj laughed. "That's the first time you ever called me son, and you did it in such a tone of authority. There's just one problem, Father."
Kadaj appeared above Jaune faster than the blink of an eye, sword over his head. "I don't respond well to authority."
Kadaj then swung down with all his might, Jaune blocking the slash with Nimueh, causing an electrified, fiery explosion.
Argent and Loz were fighting on par, or so it seemed. Loz was laughing throughout the whole fight while Argent was looking annoyed. Argent was shocked when one of his punches, his ENHANCED punch, was caught by Loz.
"How?"
"Come on, little brother. Can't you tell the difference between Semblance-enhanced strength and MAGIC Enhanced?!"
Argent's eyes sharpened. "Darkness."
"SHOW SOME RESPECT! THAT'S OUR GRANDPA," Loz yelled while laughing as he tried to punch Argent with his Dual Hound gauntlet.
Argent easily caught the attack, the electricity not affecting him at all.
"Oooh, you're good, little brother."
"I SAID STOP CALLING ME THAT!"
"Aw, you gonna cry? How cute."
"What. Did. You. Call. ME?!" Argent then kneed Loz in the crotch. Even with Aura, that hurts like hell and was enough to wind Loz. Argent then jumped and kicked Loz in the face, sending him skidding away.
"Oof, low blow, kiddo," he said, still laughing.
Argent growled before he heard the explosion. He looked to see the fiery wave rushing towards him, jumping out of its radius in time to avoid getting hit.
Unfortunately, Loz appeared behind him, grabbed his head, and slammed him to the ground. He then lifted Argent and began to electrocute him, the boy screaming in pain. "Ha-hah! Quite the singing voice ya go there, kiddo! Huh?"
Loz saw something in the corner of his eye. He looked to see what looked like a sword flying towards him, only for the sword to glow before a flash occurred. When Loz opened his eyes, he received a dropkick from a pissed-off Nimueh, the attack sending him crashing through four trees as the beauty caught her son when she landed. "I'M GOING TO BREAK EVERY BONE IN YOUR GODDAMN BODY," she roared.
Earlier, within the explosion, Jaune and Kadaj were dueling. They were evenly matched, due to Jaune slowly charging Nimueh. However, when he heard his son cry out in pain, Jaune grabbed Kadaj's sword by the blade, holding on tightly, and charged Nimueh with every last drop of his Aura to the point it shattered. He then threw Nimueh in Argent's direction before Kadaj yanked his sword out of Jaune's hand, cutting it.
Jaune looked at the bloody cut on his hand before glaring at Kadaj.
"Was that a good idea, Father," Kadaj laughed. "How do you plan on fighting me without your precious sword?"
"Like this: Ambrosian Garb, appear."
Kadaj's eyes widened when a dark substance shot out from Jaune's back before it engulfed him. When it vanished, Jaune was in his armor, eyes glowing red behind the visor. Jaune then held up his right arm, the image of the Sword of Destruction glowing before it popped out from the armor, a perfect replica of the weapon in mid-air. Jaune then grabbed the sword, spinning it expertly before swinging it to make a wind blade that left a huge gash in the ground, then taking his stance.
Kadaj stared at Jaune in awe. "Incredible." He then chuckled before laughing maniacally. "YOU'RE THE ABSOLUTE BEST, FATHER!" Kadaj then lunged at Jaune, laughing the entire time before slashing down. His eyes widened in glee when he struck Jaune's shoulder.
"Eh," he went when he saw his sword didn't even nick Jaune's armor.
"Like I said." Kadaj looked at Jaune's helm, a single eye glowing within it once more. "You can't beat me, boy."
Nimueh was fighting Loz while holding a still-stunned Argent, primarily using her legs. However, she was still outclassing Loz with that handicap. Every time Loz tried to attack her, she'd parry, block, and defend with her free hand before landing either a counter punch or a well-placed kick. She even landed a sweep kick that made Loz airborne before ax-kicking him in the ground with enough force to make a massive crater. Not only did she destroy Loz's Aura, but she also shattered some of his ribs, at least six, which pierced his organs, making him vomit up blood.
She then lifted Loz by the throat, looking at him coldly. "Two hundred bones to go," she said before throwing Loz away.
She then bent back to avoid a gunshot, glaring in the direction to see Yazoo. Yazoo shot even more at Nimueh, the Spirit of Destruction easily dodging the bullets as she walked menacingly toward the villain.
However, Yazoo smirked.
The bullets he shot began to glow and whirl with energy.
"Hm," Nimueh went as she looked behind her. When she did, the bullets exploded.
"Hmph," Yazoo went as he holstered his gun. His eyes then widened when he felt a hand on the side of his face.
"That's the best you can do," Nimueh asked. She then flung Yazoo, the young man crashing through trees, then slamming into a rock with enough force to shatter his Aura.
"One... hit," he asked before crashing to the ground.
Nimueh looked down at the now-defeated brothers before glancing at the tree she destroyed. "Oh, Crocea Mors," she said before yanking the sword out of the tree. "That was convenient."
Kadaj was trying to slash Jaune, only for all of his attacks to be blocked... by Jaune's finger. At the next big slash, Jaune flicked the strike away, making him stumble. That was all Jaune needed to slash Kadaj, sending him flying, the boy skidding across the dirt, his Aura shattering. He groaned as he tried to get up, panting. When he heard the sound of footsteps, he looked up to see Jaune walking toward him.
"Kadaj Jenova of the Reunion Gang, by my authority as an International First Class Huntsman, I'm placing you and your gang under arrest for numerous crimes, the most recent being the assault of a Huntsman."
Kadaj struggled to get back to his feet, panting as he did so before pointing his sword at Jaune. "It's... not... over... Father," he panted.
NO. IT IS.
Kadaj's eyes widened. 'Grandfather?'
'Grandfather, please, grant me more power so I can-'
NOT POSSIBLE, MY BOY.
Kadaj's eyes widened. 'What?'
YOU ARE NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH TO FACE HIM. . . YET.
'Yet?'
YOU AND YOUR BROTHERS ARE TO RETREAT TO FACE HIM ANOTHER DAY.
'But Grandfather, Father is too powerful. He won't allow us to escape.'
DO YOU HAVE FAITH IN ME?
'Absolutely, Grandfather.'
THE FACT THAT YOU ANSWERED WITHOUT HESITATION IS PROOF OF THIS. THEN LET YOUR FAITH IN ME BE REWARDED.
Thunder was heard, prompting Jaune to look up. When he did, waves of lightning showered down on him, Jaune screaming in agony as the lightning kept him in place.
Kadaj was in awe. "Beautiful."
While Kadaj was watching Jaune being electrocuted, a Grimm that looked very much like Kadaj's Shadow Hound Semblance lunged out of the shadows and grabbed him with its mouth, throwing the youth onto its back before running away.
Nimueh looked to see her husband getting electrocuted, now distracted enough for the Grimm to grab and run away with the other two brothers. But Nimueh didn't care about them. She cared that her husband was being electrocuted in a beam of electricity that hid any trace of him.
Nimueh jumped towards the beam, still holding Crocea Mors and a groggy Argent.
"JAUNE! HOLD ON," she yelled as he placed Argent and his sword on the ground, the boy finally regaining his senses. "I'M GOING TO GET YOU-"
Jaune then roared as he extended his wings, freeing himself from the electric prison.
Still, he stumbled as he was panting, his body still sparking. "Ambrosian Garb. . . Retreat." The armor then went back to being Jaune's tattoo, the exposed man panting from the shock treatment as he fell to one knee. "What the fuck just happened?"
"My dad happened." Jaune looked up at Nimueh, who looked angry at the mere mention of her father. "I honestly didn't think he'd get this involved."
"Darkness did that? I thought all he could do was send Grimm and my old enemies at me. Why doesn't he do crap like that more often?"
"My guess: God of Light is inhibiting his influence on Remnant."
"Finally, something to be grateful to the gods for besides a hot wife," Jaune said as he stood up straight, popping the joints in his neck.
"Uh, dad?"
"Hm?"
"Where are the bad guys?"
"They got away, Arie. This means that isn't the last we've seen of them. I can't believe Darkness gave them magic."
"I can," Nimueh said. "Those three have been obsessed with you ever since you first beat them. Of course, my old man would grant powers to people hunting you."
"Sounds about right. But Darkness actually saved those three. Aside from Tyrian and his Cult, he's never done that for any of the previous enemies we've fought."
"Which means he has a plan for them," Nimueh said with her arms crossed. Jaune looked down, knowing his wife was right. He couldn't help but wonder what Darkness would do to make those three even deadlier than they already are.
"So, what now, dad? Should we go after them?"
"They're probably long gone by now, Arie. Darkness even made it so that I can't track them. I can't smell anything but the forest and us right now."
"So, what's the plan," Arie asked.
"The plan is that I get you back to Patch and enroll you in Signal."
"Seriously?! After what we just fought?!"
"It's because of what we fought that I want to enroll you now more than ever before."
"Huh?"
"This is getting more dangerous, Arie. I saw you fight Loz. if I hadn't thrown your mother towards him to save you... I don't even want to think about it. You need to be out of harm's way and be in an environment that will help you grow stronger."
"But dad, I can grow stronger with you!"
"And be placed in mortal danger! No parent in this kind of situation wants that for his child."
"What about a parent who believes in their kid," Argent argued.
"And therein lies the problem." Argent's eyes widened. Jaune knelt down and placed his hands on Argent's shoulders. "Arie, I love you. I know more than anyone how talented you are and the awesome potential you hold, but what your mother and I are up against goes far beyond your level. If you were ready, I'd probably have you at my side for this, but truth is, I'm not even sure I'M ready for what's to come."
"What?"
"Even with my armor, that lightning hurt like hell. It felt like it was damaging my very soul. I'm not a master of magic like any of your aunts, and I'm still an amateur fighter compared to people like your Aunt Yang. I need to grow stronger and improve. If I'm not confident enough in myself, why would I drag my son into something so dangerous and life-threatening?"
Argent wanted to say something. . . He thought of something. "I hate it when you're right."
"I'm your dad. I'm supposed to be right about most things."
"Actually, that's a mom's job," Nimueh said.
"Oi." Jaune then stood up and walked over to the downed King's Glaive. "I can't believe this thing barely got so much as a scratch throughout that whole ordeal." Jaune then lifted the bike, only for parts to fall off. "Oh."
"You had to say something," Nimueh went with blank eyes.
"Don't worry," Jaune said as he opened one of the bike's saddlebags and took out a repair kit. "I got this."
Meanwhile, the Grimm carried the brothers to a secluded area far from Jaune or any potential enemies. Groaning, the brothers got off. Kadaj and Yazoo got off easily, but Loz fell to the ground, coughing up some more blood.
"So that's what it's like to fight a Spirit. Insane," Loz said.
"I didn't expect Mother to be that powerful," Yazoo said.
"It doesn't matter. We have Grandfather on our side," Kadaj said.
INDEED. YOU DO.
The brothers looked towards the voice, eyes widening in shock as they saw the God of Darkness himself standing before them, though he was see-through.
"Grandfather," Kadaj said before he knelt to one knee and bowed his head, Yazoo and Loz following his lead.
YOUR REVERENCE TOWARDS ME IS PLEASING, MY CHILDREN. PROTECTING YOU FROM YOUR FATHER WAS THE CORRECT CHOICE.
"And we are grateful, Grandfather," Yazoo began. "But may I be so bold as to ask for more of your great gifts?"
"Yeah. I want a rematch with Mother," Loz said with a smirk.
IN DUE TIME, Darkness said as he raised a ghostly hand. BUT YOU ARE NOT QUITE READY FOR MORE OF MY POWER. BUT SOON, YOU WILL ALL OBTAIN MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER TO CHALLENGE YOUR FATHER, ESPECIALLY YOU, KADAJ.
"Me, Grandfather?"
YOU HAVE THE MOST FAITH IN ME. YOU ARE THE MOST SYNERGISTIC WITH MY POWER. AS SUCH, YOU WILL BE AWARDED THE GREATEST GIFT. YOU WILL BECOME MY ANGEL UPON THIS WORLD AND PUNISH YOUR BLASPHEMOUS FATHER
A tear went down Kadaj's eye as his pupil turned into a slit. "Grandfather."
BUT BEFORE THAT, YOU MUST BECOME EVEN MORE POWERFUL. TO DO THAT, YOU MUST JOIN WITH MORE OF MY FOLLOWERS.
"There are more of us," Loz asked.
GO INTO THE LAND OF THE GRIMM. MY KINGDOM. THERE, YOU WILL FIND A CULT. LOOK FOR THEIR LEADER.
LOOK FOR TYRIAN CALLOWS.
A/N: What you're about to read next... WAS NOT written by me! It's a the basis to a short story written by twin sisters who have helped me out in bringing King of Grimm to life. I thought, why not show off what they got? So, here's a little somethin' something:
Omake-
Hiccup had to be restrained and tied by the other clansmen, he was injured after his fight with Jaune, he tried struggling but to no effect. The king arrived on his horse, seeing Hiccup he unsheathed his sword
"Fergus he's already down" Jaune reached out to the king
"No Jaune. That bastard chief will know what happens when you attack my kingdom!" he raised his sword upward to Hiccup, who closed his eyes to await the strike, but anything could happen, an arrow was fired hitting the sword out of his hands, and everyone looked to see it was Merida arriving and leaping off her horse, aiming her bow at her father
"Get back!" she stood in front of Hiccup
"Are you out of your mind lass?" her father asked in disbelief and confusion by his daughter's actions
"You alright?" Merida looked back asking Hiccup
"Merida" Hiccup looked at her. Fergus suddenly pushed Merida aside sending her to one of the clansmen who restrained her
"You don't speak her name, heathen!" He raised his sword upward to Hiccup again, preparing to strike him down again, but Merida flipped her captive over her shoulder, swiftly disarming the man next to her taking his sword, rushing over in front of Hiccup, blocking her father's sword "Merida?!" He was again taken by his daughter's action, Merida swiftly knocked her father's sword out of his hands, pushing him back and slicing his peg leg causing him to fall back to the ground
"I will not let you kill him" Merida then turned to Hiccup and slashed one of the ropes holding him, freeing his arm doing so, he swiftly ripped through the other ropes freeing himself completely as he sprouted his wings ready for the clansmen and Jaune surrounding him, but Merida backed to him
"Jaune quick you have to-!" Fergus looked to the Huntsman in concern
"Hold on, Fergus" Jaune held his hand to the king, waiting to see Merida and Hiccup act, he could tell something was going on with those two
"Are you hurt?" Merida asked Hiccup, putting her hand on his chest lightly
"No, I'm fine" Hiccup looked down at her, she looked up at him
"Go. Go" Merida lightly pushed him away "I'll find you" Hiccup nodded before soaring off into the sky
After returning to the kingdom, the king and others told the queen of Merida's actions, and she dragged Merida to her room
"I have had just about enough of you lass!" the queen shouted
"You're the ones-"
"You attacked your father. The clansmen. Defended that!"
"They would've killed him!"
"One less of those savages to worry about!"
"You don't know what you've done!"
"Just listen!"
"I am the queen! You listen to me!"
"Ugh! This is unfair!"
"Unfair!"
"You were never there for me! This whole marriage is what you wanted! Not me! You bother asked me what I wanted! No! You walk around telling me what to do. What not to do. Trying to make me into you. Well, I'm not going to be like you. I'm not marrying one of those boys who I don't know or love"
"You are acting like a child"
"And you're acting like a beast yourself. That's what you are" she pointed the sword to their family portrait
"Merida"
"I'll never be like you"
"Stop that"
"I rather die than be like you!" she slashed the portrait where her mother was. The queen gasped, but quickly turned to anger, she went to Merida
"You are a princess!" She took the sword Merida had, tossed it to the floor then grabbed Merida's bow weapon "I expect you to act like it! And marry one of your suitors! And stay away from that savage!" she tossed Merida's weapon in the fireplace causing Merida to gasp in horror, she worked extremely hard on that weapon for her mother to burn, hurt her deeply. Merida quickly turned to anger as she cried, and she ran out of the room "Merida! Merida!" she called out, but Merida ignored her and kept running, she nearly bumped into Jaune and Argent, they saw her run away, they looked to the queen taking the weapon out of the fire seeing that she was sighing deeply. Merida took one of the horses and rode it out of the kingdom still crying
At Berk tribe, seeing Hiccup was hurt and escaped, chief Stoick was ready to go to war, but Hiccup tried to reason with him
"Dad, listen to me! I know how this looks. And you have a right to anger, but please I can't do this to Merida!"
"The princess?" Stoick knew of her "That's who you're worried about? Not the people who were killed or almost killed?! Her father and his people killed HUNDREDS OF US!"
"AND WE'VE KILLED THOUSANDS OF THEM!" Hiccup argued back "She saved me! We can put an end to this. The war. Everything"
"Of all the irresponsible-
"I'm trying to protect our people and stop a war! How is that irresponsible?!"
"ENOUGH! This war will end, but only when the Dunbroch is burned to the ground. You can either help or stay out of the way" he walked away, Hiccup angrily huffed before he fired a beam in front of his father causing him to stumble back to the ground and he flew off in the air "HICCUP!" he called out, but his son was out of range
After riding her horse to a long distance away from the kingdom, Merida sat on the ground crying until she heard flapping, looking up she saw it was Hiccup landing near her, she ran to him and hugged him tightly, and he did the same gently brushing her curly hair.
A/N: Yeah, those two are big fans of the crossover pairing of Hiccup and Merida. Forgot the name of the ship. Anyway, fun fact, Hiccup was a Faunus in this. I actually liked the idea enough to implement it into King of Grimm, with a few changes of course. The more eagle-eyed among you probably already noticed what the change was in the beginning of the chapter.
Anyway, that's not the last we've seen of the Dreki Faunus, not of Kadaj, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Oh, and before I forget, I've opened up a novelai account to generate images for DeviantArt. I already uploaded plenty of images on my account, DevlinDracul (of course). And I know a lot of you aren't Nimueh's biggest fans, BUT YOU'VE GOTTA SEE HER! A.I. MADE HER HOOOOT! WHOO!
I plan on making images that describe Treasured Silver, and after that, I'll try to make images for King of Gimm.
However, I'm planning on commissioning a DeviantArtist to remake some of the images, like Nimueh or Argent, in their own style out of pure curiosity. What do you guys think? I have some people in mind but if you have some suggestion, shoot.
So, yeah, shamelessly plugging in my DA account.
I'll see you guys in the next chapter when Argent finally goes to school.
