Pokémon Trainer Hero
Chapter 87: Hero Killer Arc, part. 9; The Killer Arrives. Act 3
The two swordsmen meet in the middle and explode into a clash of raw metal! Their battle of blades would put the very best warriors of the past to shame. Gar was far slower than the much quicker striking Stain, but what he lacked in speed more than made up for in finesse, power, and defense.
Stain was more than able to dodge or even block his attacks, but could never pierce him past the shield he carried! But even so, despite his years of more ruthless experience his body couldn't handle blocking or parrying every blow that was set on him! His muscles and bones screamed for relief upon each one, but in his soul, he knew if he gave into the feeling every time it raced across his body, he would die! It was like pure otherworldly power was behind each strike, stinging him in both body and spirit with a cold wail!
Stain finally jumped back in an attempt to catch his breath and give his body relief, but Gar wouldn't have it as he charged after him! Shield in front and sword ready to strike! Stain had to take him down fast! Even with the Recover drug, those weird attacks were wearing him down like an old boot! So he pulled out two smoke bombs and threw them down. Gar ran right into the smoke and stopped his charge while looking around. He could hear Stain through the fog but couldn't pinpoint where?
While in the smoke, Stain saw an opportunity to strike from behind and took it! Tantos in hand he charged and brought both on his back, hoping to cut his spine! But just before he made contact, one of the ribbons grabbed both his hands! Freezing his movements and keeping him in place as he tried to break free!
Gar turned around, looked at the man, and wagged his finger while saying, "Sneaky sneaky."
With that said he rammed his shield right into his gut before lifting him with the ribbons and slamming him down before throwing him away! Stain crashed into a dumpster with a loud crash and coughed up his breath to stay awake. He just managed to get back to his feet when he saw Gar casually approaching him while spinning the sword around like a baton.
Stain had to think of something else, otherwise, he'd be put down right here! He wondered how he managed to see an attack from behind, but the failing question was quickly answered by himself as he remembered the sword was alive. It was the eyes where he didn't have any. So he knew he had to take out both! So he reached into his pockets and pulled out two pouches.
He then threw both at Gar and before he could react, they exploded into a brilliant display of dust and glitter! Blinding both him and Aegislash. Stain took the chance, retrieving the tanto's and rushing towards him while dealing several harsh slices across his body! He finishes it off with one quick motion of slashing his neck and licking the blood.
Gar gawked and froze up, his body going stiff as his arms dropped to his sides and his position stayed right where he stood! Stain smiled at this and was ready to plunge his blades through his chest when Gar suddenly surprised him. Shooting himself forwards and knocked him in the face with the shield so hard that he was sent flying deep into the alleyway! Stain rolled over, after landing, clutching his face tenderly he managed to sit up enough to spit out a few teeth and a bit of his tongue with a lot of blood! He shifted his gaze over to the approaching man and was left in shock to see him still standing and moving.
After a few bloody coughs, he asked, "How? That's impossible."
Gar stopped and cackled out a laugh while saying, "So long as I'm attached to my master, that little truck of yours will have no effect.", Stain them watched in shock as black veins grew around the areas he cut and began to close them up, while the man said, "Not. One. Bit."
"What….are you?", Stain asked, fear soaking his words.
"I'm your death!", Gar exclaimed while getting right into the man's face. Only to quickly and elegantly back away while saying in a nicer tone, "Or….at least I could be. Depending on your next decision."
"Decision?", Stain inquires.
"My master, merciful as he is, is giving you a chance to live.", Gar explains as Stain listens close to this offer. "Give up now and no more blood needs to be shed. No more lives to be taken. So? What's say you, killer?", He casually asked him with a wry smile.
Stain looked down for a moment, thought about it, made a sound of frustration, and taking a blade hidden in his sleeve, tried to stab him in the face! However, he blocked the attack with his shield and the blade snapped like a twig! Gar sighs and says, "I expected as much."
That said he tried to bring the sword down on him, but Stain started to do some kind of break dancing and began to strike back at the blade, using his leg protectors and blades hidden in his boots! Eventually, he managed to block enough for him to roll behind him and then sweep his legs with his boot blade! Once on his knees, he slashed at his back before using spikes on his knees to knock him in the head! Once he was on the ground he brought his boot up and spikes sprouted from the souls where he tried to bring them down on his back!
But the ribbons once again caught his foot, and in one swift motion, they dislocated the joint! Stain cried out in pain as he was tossed off and fell to the ground clutching his leg! After regaining his composure he asserted his injury. Seeing it was superficial, employing dislocation, he tenderly grabbed the limb and in one quick motion, Stain set it back into place with a yelp. As Stain injected a fast-acting painkiller into himself as he watched as Gar's injuries heal in seconds and he rose back up like a corpse from the grave. He turned to him, uncomfortably cracked his neck, and snickered at him.
"I must say, Stain. You have quite some skills. Even I wasn't expecting this from you.", Gar praised him in his doubled voice before his expression fell to solemnity, and he said with a serious tone, "However, it takes much more than skills alone to not just survive, but thrive! You need power! True, refined, POWER! It takes more than to be a one-trick pony.", he then lifted the sword, pointing it at him and saying, "Allow me to show you what true power is like!"
Stain felt a cold chill run down his spine as he heard this and knew it was time to get back on his feet. Gar then pointed the sword at him but then raised it over his head, and Stain felt every fiber of his being telling him to move!
"Shadow Sneak!", Gar yelled as he jammed the sword into the ground and black blades erupted from the shadows under Stain's feet, causing him to roll out of the way.
However, Gar was upon him and Stain had to take evasive maneuvers once again!
"Sacred Sword!", Gar cried as the blade glowed white and hot.
He then slashed the sword in a wide arc, and the white energy surrounding the blade exploded in an anime-style air slash that flew so fast and sharp that it cleaved right into the building behind him! If that building had been any older or smaller, Stain was sure it would have collapsed! Without wasting time, Stain jumped up a building, jumped off an ac unit, and threw just about every shape object he had on him, right at Gar. Even with this much shrapnel, he wouldn't be able to dodge it, even with a shield! But boy was he ever wrong.
"King's Shield!", Gar yelled as a wall of tiny shield-like particles surrounded the shield, making an even bigger one that looked royal in design, leading to not only every blade getting blocked but sent right back at him.
Stain managed to use his tanto's to block many of the thrown-back knives and land on his feet without complication! But then, some primal force in his body told him to move! Yet the fear he felt was so ridged that he fumbled for a moment! There was more than enough time for Gar to disappear and reappear right next to him.
"Night Slash!", Gar hissed as he slashed with the blade once more, this time covered in a black energy that screamed dark intent.
Stain did another all-or-nothing move and perform a backflip just in the nick of time! He watched in slow motion as the darkened blade came only bits from his face! It was a good thing too that he didn't have a nose. Had he still owned one, that attack would have taken it off. After performing his back flip, he curled himself up and rolled like a ball toward Gar. Due to his position and stance, Gar couldn't swing the sword or bring up the shield in time, and ended up getting nailed right in the stomach with a strong double kick! Gar was sent flying abc and Stain was already upon him before his back hit the ground! Stain jumped up and brought the tanto's above his head, aiming for his heart!
Even though Gar was indisposed, the sword wasn't, and brought the shield up just in time to meet the blades as they both hit the ground! Due to their position, Gar was on the full defensive as his other arm was trapped under himself, preventing the sword's use. At this point, Stain was pissed and was now desperately trying to stab his blades through the shield! A fact that Gar took advantage of. Once he gained his composure, he looked at the killer and smiled devilishly.
"Gotcha.", was all he said before the ribbons unraveled themselves from his arms and onto Stain.
Stain tried to get away, but the ribbon was far quicker than him, and before he realized it, his whole arm had been bound in the ribbons, and his consciousness was slowly being taken over by the Pokemon. Stain roared with pain as the ribbon clutched to not only his flesh but his spirit as well! Spit and blood flew everywhere as he rolled like a pig in the dirt, clutching his arm! The same black veins appeared on the arm, but this time the skin started to turn violet, and the coloring began to climb its way up the arm and work its way up his body until he was half-n-half. The final touch was when his eye was colored the same as Gar's.
While this was happening, gar regained control over his body and dropped the shield as he made his way over to Izuku. Seeing the boy regain control over his body, he helped him up while asking about his health.
"Hey. Are you holding up alright?", Gar asked while helping the boy to his feet.
"Yeah. I'm good.", Izuku said with a grunt as he got back up on wobbly legs. He then looked at Gar and grabbed him and asked "A better question is, are you okay? What happened to you back there? It's like you were possessed."
"I was.", Gar said back casually.
"What?!", Izuku exclaimed in fright.
Gar put up his hands and put the teen's mind at ease, telling him, "Don't worry. It was a mutual exchange. It's a show of true trust between a trainer and a Ghost-type Pokemon. I'll tell you about it later."
He looked over to Stain writhing in pain and asked, "What's happening to Stain?"
Gar also looks back at the killer fighting some kind of internal battle and tells him, "He's being possessed by Aegislash. But he is trying to fight against it with his willpower. And before you ask, yes, that is a thing.", he then slaps his back and tells him, "Come on, while he's distracted, let's get Iida back on his feet."
Meanwhile, Stain was still rolling around in the filth of the alleyway screaming at the top of his lungs as he felt like his own flesh was being melted off! Fighting against a storm in his brain trying to swallow him whole, but holding it off like a lost fisherman on a rowboat! He tried with all his might to rip off the Pokemon, but no matter what he couldn't even get his fingernails under the fabric of the ribbon! He was fighting a battle, and he was losing fast! While he fought, he heard the Pokemon speak out of the half of his body he was under control. It was cold and malicious and empty with every word it spoke in his own throat.
"Well well! I must say Stain, your willpower is quite strong for a human. But my power is far STRONGER!", Aegislash told him while forcing the arm to point the tip of the sword to his neck.
Stain grabbed at the blade, cutting his hand and drawing blood as he desperately tried to keep his own body from ending his life. Once again he heard the cold voice speak through him as it chastised, "You were given a chance, Stain, and you threw it away! Now. There is no more mercy left. Only DEATH!"
The sword's tip was now at his throat and drawing a small stream of blood. No matter how hard he fought back, he couldn't move the living weapon away. Hearing it speak once more, "But fret not, you will be given a front-row seat to view your own! You will die by the very act you used to steal life! It's as I said, those who kill by the blade will die by it too!"
The sword was traveling deeper into his flesh, and with the angle, it was being held and how wide it was, Stain was going to decapitate himself with a piercing attack. Just before driving it through, Aegislash stopped for a moment and told him in a sinister yet excited tone, "Ah, and before I forget. You have nothing to worry about wondering what plane of your afterlife you will be walking through. Your soul will exist within my belly for eternity! I will finally not feel so empty all the time!"
Stain knew that he couldn't keep up with the Pokemon. At this point, he was just playing with him! If it wanted to it would have taken over his whole mind and then killed him without hesitation. He had to remove it, but he feared the only way to do that was to remove his arm. So he did the only thing he could think of at the moment and grabbed one of his blades before slicing at his possessed arm! Through the slash, Stain managed to cut the ribbon on his arm, severing his tie to the Pokemon! Aegislash screamed in pain and immediately let go of the killer as it was ripped off by the man and thrown away!
Stain fell to his back, breathing heavily and on the verge of passing out! He gulped down the air and took out gauze and a surgical bandage. He bound his sliced arm and closed the cut on his neck. He injected himself with more painkillers and lay there to catch his breath while injecting himself with some adrenaline. On the other hand, Aegislash got up from the ground, floating with its ghostly power, and retrieved its missing shield as its ribbon arms grew back. From there it made its way back to Gar, who petted the living object, giving it thanks despite its failure.
At this point, Stain got to his knee and was glaring daggers as Gar was leaning down and smiling while petting his Pokemon. A smile he knew all too well. A smile that only the fake heroes made to make themselves look good in the public eye. He grits his teeth and made a frustrated sound in his throat before stumbling onto his legs.
"You.", he hissed at Gar.
Gar looked up from his Pokemon, stood up, and asked, "Me?"
"You're just like the rest of them.", Stain stated.
"The rest of who?", Gar asked back, feeling as though he already knew.
Stain grunted and dropped his head while tightening his bandages before yelling with venom in his voice, "The heroes! You pretend you're all goodie-goodie when in reality you're nothing but a fake! You're just a pompous, arrogant, selfish little deceiver!", he stopped to breathe while Gar just looked on, pensive. Once he caught his breath he ranted, "I've seen you in all those newspapers, commercials, magazines, and even tv appearances. You're everywhere and loving it! You're just like all those other heroes!", he screamed while trying to walk closer, only to fall on his shaky legs.
Gar relaxed his posture, closed his eyes, breathed, and said with no hesitation, "I am no hero."
Stain paused his anger at this and asked, "What?"
Gar opened his eyes, eyes filled with irritation as he explained, "I never was one, to begin with. I didn't come here seeking fame. I have more than enough of that where I'm from, and I hate it!", he yelled the last part, almost making Stain jump from how much passion was behind it. After taking a calming breath he continued in a somber tone, "I'm just a lost wanderer who's far away from home, and wants nothing more than to go back."
"Then why don't you?", Stain asked.
Gar tightened his fists and started in a soft tone before gradually increasing to a loud exclamation of declaration, "I can't leave. Not with Bayo still on the loose. I won't leave this world to a fate it doesn't deserve. I won't just run away cause it's inconvenient for me. I won't be scared, not anymore. I'll stand and fight until he's gone or I am.", Stain looked on at the young man in shock!
He had no idea what to say in return. He hadn't been anything like the person that was perceived! Had he been wrong all this time? Was he truly like the environment he had for heroes all along? But that didn't matter at the moment.
Gar took a more aggressive stance and exclaimed while pointing his finger in demand, "Now give up Stain; you're outmatched, outweighed, and outnumbered."
Satin looked around him, smirked, and vexed him as he got to his now secure feet, "I think you need to go back to primary school. There is only you, and that haunted sword."
Stain then quickly felt something and made a mad jump away as Izuku came out of nowhere looking to knock him in the head.
"Make that three!", Izuku yelled.
"Deku.", Stain said, realizing who it was.
Once away from the punch he quickly did a backflip just in time for a set of metal legs to come screeching in towards his face and body!
"Four!", Iida cried.
"Engium's brother.", Stain hissed in annoyance as he backflipped away and got to a safe distance.
But he then had to jump off the building and other fixtures along it to avoid a mass of incoming ice forming from nowhere.
"Five.", Shoto said in a neutral tone as he came deeper into the alley.
"Endeavor's kid.", Stain groaned as he perched himself on top of the ice he made.
The three young heroes all made their way to Gar's side and stood beside him like a true hero team on TV as he proclaimed, "And I make ten! I think?", the three younger heroes looked at Gar confused, but the young man started to wobble on his feet and clutched his head and he groaned, "Woah! I think I'm starting to feel the after-effects of possession."
Stain grunted at this and stated while standing on the ice mound, "So my quirk wore off. No matter, I'll just do it again!"
Stain, feeling better since the medicine kicked in, jumped from his perch and ran towards the heroes! Gar thrust out his hand and Aegislash alongside the young heroes all went after him as well! Izuku jumped and tried to land a falling punch on him, but Stain dodged it easily. Unfortunately, this is what he wanted to happen and Stain quickly realized he was now surrounded! From there it turned into a circular battle of wits, skills, and blades.
Stain dodged and weaver and slashed at everyone he could while the heroes and Pokemon tried to attack or make up for one another's weakness.
One of the tougher heroes to deal with was Shoto and his combination of Fire and Ice! Izuku hit hard and could move quickly but left himself wide open. Iida was fast but not accurate or could turn very well, and his armor made it hard to hit anything.
Stain got more than a few good cuts on the heroes but never got a chance to lick as someone else was upon him. He has to divert most of his attention to Aegislash who was much quicker off of Gar as it threw and blocked with its shield while parrying and slashing with its blade! It even made some battle moves or made fast moves due to the outside input from Gar or Izuku.
But this was part of a plan as Stain had gathered back many of the blades he threw earlier. Once he had enough he began to throw them all over, causing Aegislash to go on full defensive, while the young heroes had to move back from the onslaught of sharp metal! But even then he got no breathing room as Gar came up with a metal trash can and tried to hit him with it! Stain jumped over the sloppy attack and tried to stab him from above, but Aegislash ejected himself from his shield and parried the attack.
When Stain landed he blitzed past Gar and ran toward Iida! But the young teen stamped his foot on the ground and caused Aegislash's shield to fly up in time to block the blades! From there he kicked the shield into the man and sent him skidding back to Gar! Stain knew this and allowed himself to be flung before turning around and trying to stab him again!
But this time Gar was ready and caught the hand. Stain tried to stab him with the other hand but he caught that one too! Stain attempted to break free but quickly found he couldn't, and even fast found himself dropping the blades from how hard Gar was crushing his hands!
The stain looked at the young man and asked in confusion, "How? I thought you were quirkless?"
"Oh, I am. People in my world are just built differently.", Gar casually told him with a smile before arching his head back and hitting Stain right in the face with a headbutt.
Stain nearly fell unconscious from how hard the hit was, but didn't as he was suddenly grabbed by the ankle and got slammed into the concrete twice before being flung into the air!
"Now!", Gar shouted.
Izuku pumped One For All into his legs and bounded towards Stain! Iida used his speed to run up the building and jump off an AC unit! Shoto created an ice pillar under himself and got launched up! Aegislash threw Gar off its blade and threw the Shield beside him, which he caught in mid-air! The four heroes all collide in the center of Stain; Izuku hitting him with 5%, Iida kicking him with repercussion Burts, Shoto hitting him with a fiery punch, and Gar hitting him with the shield! All attacks hit the killer and when they fall, Stain remains unmoving on the floor, finally defeated.
The realization finally washed over them and Izuku was the first to exclaim, "We did it! We won!"
Before they could continue with their celebration Iida ran over to the Killer and Gar jumped in, grabbing him under the arms and holding him up!
"Iida stop!", Gar commands him.
Iida didn't and continued to struggle, his eyes firmly planted on the unconscious man. Eyes will with rage and hate!
Izuku jumps in front of him and puts his arms out he exclaims, "What are you doing?!"
"I'm doing what I set out before! I'm gonna kill him!", Iida yells.
"You can't!", Gar tells him.
"Why not! You can't stop me!", Iida spit back, looking over his shoulder at him.
Gar sighs and says, "Maybe not, but he can."
Iida managed to break free and push past Izuku, but when he did he was met with Aegislash who wasn't holding his shield. Iida saw what the Pokemon did to Stain, and he knew there was no way he would be able to fight back for a second. With that, he finally conceded for the moment. He dropped his shoulder and head and made a frustrated sound in his throat.
"Don't you get it.", he said in a low tone before shooting up his head and grabbing Gar while shouting into his face, "He ruined my brother's career and his ability to walk! He stole my brother's life! He ruined it! He ruined it!"
Gar stayed calm, holding his hands grabbing him, and told him, "Iida, I'm telling you now, if you go down this path it will be so hard for you to go back."
Iida stubbed for a moment in his breathing and aggression. He looked back at the still unconscious Killer and said in a low tone, "It's only once!"
"That's what they all say!", Gar quickly scolds him while forcing his head to face him. "Soon one turns to two and so on.", he continues, his tone getting direr by the moment, before going back to its gentler side and telling him, "The path of revenge is a slippery slope, Iida. The only thing that waits for you at the bottom is more revenge or nothing.", Iida turned his eyes away, and Gar let go of his face while cupping his cheek and telling him softly, "Revenge will consume you until you're nothing but a shell. That's why you can't do this. You have your whole life ahead of you! Don't throw it all away in one stupid mistake."
"But…..my…..brother.", Iida tried to say only to be choked out by his tears.
"And what do you think Tensie would say, hum? What would he do? What would he think of you doing this?", Gar asked him back, getting serious for a moment.
"He's hurt so many.", Iida choked out, trying to defend his case.
"And he'll pay for it. He'll be sent to prison for all his murders and he'll be lucky to not receive the death penalty. He will never be let out or see the light of day.", Gar assured him.
It was then that he finally conceited and gave up on his quest. Gar could see it in his eyes and body expression. He let go of the teen relaxing as he did and calling off his Pokémon from intervening. However, this moment of reprieve and calmness was soon shattered by something else.
"Oh My God!", Izuku suddenly screamed while pointing at Gar.
The young man looked at him and asked while scanning his face, "What? Is there something on my face?"
"More like what's sticking out of your body.", Shoto said casually while pointing at his stomach.
Gar looked down and saw that during the scuffle with the hero killer, he had managed to stab him with one of his many knives which was currently sticking out of his abdomen.
"Oh…..that's not good.", Gar said with surprising calmness while sitting down on a nearby crate. "Oh Firlish, Oh Firlish, Oh Firlish.", He repeated to himself to try and keep calm.
A sentiment that wasn't shared between the single brain cell of the other three teens.
"W-W-W-What do we do?!", Izuku exclaimed.
"We have to do something!", Iida yelled in panic.
"We could pull it out.", Shoto offered.
"No!", The other two immediately shot the idea down.
"Ahem!", Gar loudly cleared his voice to get their attention, following up by saying, "You know, if I have to be the only level-headed one despite being stabbed, then I think you three need some serious situational control lessons.", The three of them then looked disappointed in themselves as they surrounded the young man who gave them the lowdown on his situation. "Okay so the blade isn't deep, and from the area, it didn't hit anything vital. A simple cauterization of the wound should do the trick.", He briefly explained.
"What about Aegislash? He healed your wounds when you were fighting Stain.", Izuku offered in return.
Gar shook his head and told him, "He didn't heal them, he just forced my body to reproduce cells at an alarming rate. If it wasn't for his cold ghostly powers, I would've likely died from heat stroke at the right my body was reproducing cells. Besides, it is not healthy to do possession too many times, even if it is consensual between both parties."
"But then, how are we supposed to close it shut?!", Izuku exclaimed in panic, only for Gar, who was looking at him disappointed, to shift his eyes over to Shoto. Izuku quickly picked up on it and said, "Oh….right."
From there they got the setup ready. While Izuku held Gar's shoulders and helped stuff a cloth in his mouth, Iida cut open his suit and got ready to pull the knife, while Shoto stood on stand-by to burn the wound shut, and Aegislash anchored itself into the ground for Gar to hold on to. Luckily the knife wasn't serrated so it would be able to pull it out easily. Gar held on to his pokémon, bit down on the cloth, and nodded at Iida and Shoto.
Iida then carefully pulled the blade out and once it did, Shoto immediately set to work on closing it shut! Gar grunted and squawked with pain trying to hold it all in while Izuku held his shoulders to keep him from squirming as the young man held the pokémon with a death grip! After a few seconds, the wound was finally closed and Shoto pulled away just in time for Gar to pull the tag out and vomit on the asphalt.
After he stopped gagging, Izuku asked with worry, "Gar! Are you okay!?"
Gar wipes his face and tells him sarcastically, "Well I just got stabbed, had the wound cauterized, and I just threw up. So yeah, I'm just fantastic!"
"Oh that's a relief.", Izuku sighs, not picking up on the sarcasm leading Gar to glare at him. Which made Izuku realize and reply with a small, "Sorry."
Gar took a few deep breaths and was helped to his feet by Shoto and Iida, while he told them, "Let's check on Native, tie down the killer, and find some help."
With that, the teens did as they were told. Shoto found some rope and bound the killer tightly. Iida checked on Native, who is still very much alive but very weak and unconscious. While Izuku helped support Gar on his feet while he returned Aegislash to its Pokeball. Once they were all collected they made their way out of the alley and into the streets. They hadn't walked more than a block before Gar started to voice his complaints.
"This is so not how I wanted to spend my Friday.", He groaned while wiping sweat from his face and saying, "I need a drink with Shota."
Just then, a very familiar voice called out, "Gar!"
And they all turned their heads to see a strangely flamboyant-dressed woman running towards them.
Gar's eyes widened and he exclaimed, "Photo? What are you doing here!? And how did you find me?", His question was quickly answered as Rotom popped out from her pocket and he exclaimed happily, "Rotom! I'm so glad to see you! I was so worried! Where were you?!"
"When the Nomu crashed into the train. I got knocked out of your pocket and got so frightened I went into hard reset mode. Buzzt. That's where Photo Found me and I used my DNA tracker to find you. Buzzt.", The phone explained.
"DNA tracker? I didn't know you had that feature. That's amazing!", Gar stated in shock and amazement.
"I'm always full of surprises. Buzzt. I always kept a sample of your DNA just in case.", Rotom stated back with a prideful facade.
"I'm glad you did. As for you! I told you to get to safety.", Gar scolded Photo Finish.
She shrugged and told him, "I decided to not listen. More importantly, what happened to you and these kids?!", Photo asked him back.
"The Hero Killer happened.", Gar told her simply.
She looked around at them, confused for a moment, before seeing the unconscious form of the man being dragged by Shoto, and exclaimed in excitement, "Huh? Oh my God! You really caught the Hero Killer Stain!? I have to call the-!", Before she could go on, Far shot her a glare and she back peddled before saying, "Ambulance….for you. And don't worry, some other heroes are here too!"
They all looked behind the woman on her phone and saw a few heroes running towards them, no doubt trying to catch Photo Finish. But before they could relax and feel at ease, something swooped I'm from the sky and ice right at them!
"Look out!", The female hero yelled.
They all looked up just in time to see the winged Nomu soaring down to them! Before they could react, it slammed into the group knocking them all over and spreading its blood everywhere! At that moment, Izuku was grabbed by the creature and was beginning to fly away!
"Midoriya!", Iida shouted.
On the other hand, Gar, who was being held up by Izuku, was nearly knocked out cold by the collision! He was thrown away and crashed into a pay-for-newspaper stand! Gar felt fuzzy. All his injuries and exhaustion were catching up to him and the world slowed down, sped up, and blurred in and out of blackness.
He saw Izuku disappearing, Stain, the Numo falling, Stain standing over the creature and saying something, Endeavor, Stain again. Stain, Stain. Stain! STAIN! Gar has had enough of that psycho! His hatred for that monster spiral deep in his subconscious, and breaking free of the half-dazed form he stood up, took out the last Pokeball he had, and threw it!
The moment the device opened, a huge thunderstorm exploded to life overhead! The thunder was so loud that it brought nearly everyone to their knees! In the flashes of lightning streaking across the sky, Zapdos appeared overhead, flapping its wings buzzing with power! It screeched so loud that it deafened the sound of the thunder booming with it! Everyone was in awe and fear, all except Stain who stood in defiance of less God! He seemed to say something as if encouraging an attack, to which Gar complies.
"THUNDER!", He screams as the bird lets lose a bolt of lightning so large, harsh, and bright that it illuminates the whole night sky!
When the lighting finally stopped, there stood a very crispy Stain. This was the last thing Gar witnessed before passing out.
Team Freak Bonnie and Clyde appear and see the end result of the scene laid before them.
Bonnie: Um, I'm assuming this isn't a good time to be looking for trouble?
Clyde: And making it double?
Shoto(reserved aggression): Yes!
Clefairy: That's….right….
Bonnie: Uh...well just come back...later.
